Brouwerij ’t IJ - ’t Blauwe Theehuis

Great spot to relax in the park! The outdoor seating area has a really nice atmosphere with plenty of tables, making it perfect for enjoying a drink in the sun. The setup is casual—you order at the bar and then grab a seat outside, which keeps things simple and laid-back. The surroundings are beautiful with trees all around, and it’s a great place to sit with friends, have a beer, and watch people passing by. The vibe feels very local and relaxed rather than touristy. Definitely a lovely place to stop if you're walking through the park and want to take a break.

Located in the middle of Vondelpark, like a place to escape the city’s hustle, 't Blauwe Theehuis with a large terrace upstairs is the perfect place where people come together for beer and sociability. Here visitors can order all beers from Brouwerij 't IJ, including 2 special house beers brewed for this special place: ‘t Blauwe Theehuis Lager and White beer. They sell a varied snack menu and serve pizzas, sandwiches and soups also. Besides food and beverage, visitors can enjoy a game of pétanque or table tennis. Originally built in 1937 as a tea house, it has been part of Vondelpark for almost a century. In July 2018, Brouwerij 't IJ took over the Blauwe Theehuis and the Amsterdam brewery established a beer tasting room in the pavilion.

The perfect spot for the sunny days in Amsterdam! This bar is a must-stop if you want to enjoy a drink surrounded by the lush greenery of Vondelpark. While it’s a pity they don’t offer table service given the size of the outdoor patio, the setting more than makes up for it. An easy choice for a relaxed evening with friends.

Excellent find in the middle of Vondelpark, even in the winter months, just the place to refuel and rest, even if it is under the gas lamp! Great selection of beer, dutch snacks and coffee. There is a very clean (public?) toilet in the back.

This is a very cute café located inside Vondelpark. On sunny day they also have lounge-style chairs where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. The service is self-service you place your order inside and pick it up yourself. The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and peaceful, making it a lovely spot to take a break while walking through the park. It’s a great place to sit down enjoy a drink and soak up the park’s unique vibe. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Vondel!

Had a tasty avocado toast with grilled tomatoes and feta plus a cappuccino made just the way I like it. Plenty of seating indoors and out, and they also have table service upstairs.

Great brewery/pub in the park perfect for stopping and getting a beer and some good food while out in the park. They have a great variety of beer and food as well as plenty of seating and tables almost all of which are outdoors. There are toilets available onsite but they are very small.

Great selection of craft beers, chill atmosphere, friendly bartender. You order at the bar and seat yourself, there's mostly outdoor patio seating, mostly sheltered under a roof. If you order food you get a buzzer and go pick it up at the window when it's ready. We got some small Dutch snacks that were delicious
