"If you’re walking on 2nd Avenue in the East Village and see a line stretching around the corner to get into Professor Thom’s, you don’t need to check ESPN to see what’s going on. If it’s Saturday, there’s a Michigan football game, and if it’s Sunday, Tom Brady is playing against people 20 years younger wearing six fewer Super Bowl rings. This dark, slightly underground bar gets extremely crowded, so if you plan on eating giant plates of nachos covered in pulled pork and roasted corn, or you don’t want to shoulder past Michigan Greek life alums to get to the bar, you should make a reservation way ahead of time." - Matt Tervooren

After struggling to find a sports bar that served fresh food in the area we stumbled upon this gem. Nachos are gigantic and absolutely delicious, would highly recommend! Bar staff were polite, attentive, friendly and full of recommendations. Plenty of screens showing a variety of games and weekly trivia night. If nothing else, we’ll be back for the nachos again!

Although this place is almost always busy, I have never experienced such poor service - or rather, a total lack thereof. My friend and I arrived just as a large number of people were leaving, so aside from a bit of clean-up, the staff wasn't overwhelmed by any means. We sat at a table, received menus 5 minutes later, and then.... nothing. We waited for 15 minutes for a server to come take our order; plenty walked past us, even pausing at surrounding tables to chat. Not one person came to us, despite attempts to wave/call someone over. We left.

Pretty laid back spot catering to New England and Michigan sports fans with a decent draft selection and pub-style food. I don't know why the LOST numbers appear above the entrance but hot damn does it compel me to enter.

Great sports bar in cozy, below ground digs with expected bar food. The nachos are awesome if you have a big enough group to order them all the way (sloppy af on the menu). Their wings and other bar snacks are tasty and carefully made to order. Decent beer selection, and the wait staff are very attentive. Quinn's trivia is every Tuesday night, and it's not one of those run-of-the-mill trivia franchises. This guy is local and he knows how to keep it fun and make you think.

If you love all things Boston this is your place. Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins and wicked pats. So many TVs and they have the sound on for the games. If that wasn’t enough the food is pretty damn good. The nachos are some of the best in the city and are massive. The sandwiches are also fantastic. All around above average bar food. Wicked awesome.

This bar has a fun and laid back vibe. Beer and food prices are reasonable. The nachos are fantastic. It's a great place to watch a Red Sox game! So glad there is a Boston-themed bar in the heart of New York. I definitely plan to make many more visits here.

Great atmosphere, awesome bartenders and the BEST loaded nachos. The 1-2 serving “smother AF” is enough for four people; I love great nachos. Can’t go wrong here for beers, bar food and a good time.

I've been hosting events here for the last couple of years and I can't say enough about the bar and their staff. Always great people to work with, fantastic space where they help bring your vision to life (we had a balloon drop as just one example), great location and fair prices. And let's not forget about their nacho game! Out of this world. Would definitely recommend to those trying to throw an event here in the near future.
