The 19 Best Places To Eat In Reading Terminal Market

"Profi’s isn’t just your only option for a good crêpe in Reading Terminal Market—it’s one of your only options for a good crêpe in all of Philly. If you don’t mind wading through the tourist jungle to get here, you can get a sweet or savory crêpe in about three minutes flat since there usually isn’t a line. The stretchy pancakes themselves are pretty standard, with a good amount of filling, and we’re particularly into the sweet ones, like the Nutella with banana or the cinnamon-sugar crêpe." - candis mclean, alison kessler

Google
Visited on a Friday morning with no wait and was able to grab a seat at the bar! Fast service, great pricing, easy in and out experience to start your day. I ordered a steak, egg and cheese with mushroom crepe and the batter of the crepe was just a little too sweet for my personal preference on a savory crepe. Also, tasted like the batter was a little underdone. Overall, worth another visit to try a sweet version.

Google
We spent 4 days at a conference at the convention center and purchased most meals at Reading Terminal Market. Profi's did not disappoint. I chose a build your own savory with salmon, cheddar, spinach, and pesto, a crazy combination that worked for me. Others chose a sweet make your own with 2 berry fruits, and Nutella® , with crushed oreos. Also a wild combination that works. We arrived early for breakfast at 8am with no line with quick service. We sat at one of the accessible tables in a central area of the market. Signs are light letters on light brown background, fairly readable. Accessible entry in main entrances and smaller entrances have 6 steps. Accessible venue with adequate wide aisles, that get congested at busy times. Accessible van parking in paid lot, a short walk to market

Google
Located on 5th street in Reading Terminal. The crepes menu says $10.50 for 1 crepe which I thought was a bit pricey. I ordered just a Nutella crepe because they were out of strawberries. They charged me about 5.50, which I thought was very reasonably priced! It was super delicious! Nice & warm & chocolaty! There was no line & I ordered right away. It took maybe 2 minutes for him to make the crepe right in front of me. I will definitely be back!

Google
Meh. I'll give them full credit for fresh ingredients but there was practically zero cheese on my ham and cheese crepe. This standard menu item comes with tomato and greens as well so it was essentially a ham salad crepe. Not at all was I was going for.

Ivana Maodus

Google
Not enough filling for both sweet nor savory. I doubt they put two eggs and steak and Nutella crape barely had any, mostly fruit. So if that is what you like this is a place for you

Rickey Damiano

Google
Amazing!!! If I could give it 6☆ I would! Owners are beautiful spirits and the crepes were the best we've had! AND...you can customize them any way you want. We came to Philly for the first time and they were closing and the nice lady said "take your time and stayed open for us to order a crepe." Amazing customer service! Thank you!

Erica Ross

Google
I cam here on a Monday morning and there was no wait time. Low wait time was nice the crepe I ordered was made fresh and it was delicious! I ordered strawberry banana nutella crepe and it was a great decision. Definitely coming by again

Google
Crepes , sandwiches & more: thin, fresh made, some are sweet and savory, others are hearty and yummy Service: friendly, but not very efficient , given the limited cooking space and long line of people waiting especially in the morning time, the wait can be long. Location: inside Reading Market, convenient, centrally located Parking: very difficult to find with limited street parkings Atmosphere: long line mainly in the morning rush and afternoon , crowded, lively, and smells delicious Pricing: reasonable Highly recommended by @WineDinenVacay

Yelp
Friendly staff. Made to order. The croissant was pretty big, flaky and buttery. The actual filling (egg&salmon) was bland and not seasoned.

Yelp
In town for a convention. Decided to go with the smoked salmon crepe. It's almost like sitting at the sushi bar watching them make your crepes. No delays in them starting your order. Would recommend if you're in Reading Terminal.
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
We got the berry Nutella crepe as a dessert and it did not disappoint! There was a godd nutella to fruit ratio and the berries were fresh. Crepe was consistently thin and tasted good. As busy as Reading Terminal is, they had seating and you could watch them make the crepe right in front of you. Planning to try a savory crepe next time!
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommend trying these crepes. My family makes homemade crepes every Sunday - and these could rival our special family recipe! They are light and thin, with a generous amount of filling and perfect amount of powered sugar on top. We visited around 1pm on a Saturday. There was ample counter space available for seating. The crepes were ready fairly quickly (within 10 minutes) and we loved that you could see them being made fresh in front of you! Would love to come back for a savory crepe in the future.

Yelp
We've been eating our way around breakfast spots in Reading Terminal Market, and the creperie was up today! The cashier was very nice, and our order was taken and delivered quickly. We were able to snag two of the seats at their available counter seating, which is limited but better than nothing! We ordered the apple caramel crepe as well as the sausage breakfast crepe, both of which were good. The apple caramel crepe had a great sweetness to it without being overdone, but I do wish that the apples were cooked down a bit like pie filling rather than being just large chunks of apple that made it more difficult to eat. The breakfast crepe was definitely the better of the two with a generous portion of meat alongside fluffy eggs and cheese inside of a slightly sweet crepe. They seem to go through a lot of nutella, so I would like to come back to try one of those!

Tristin S.

Yelp
The food was great and you can watch them make the crepes, it's really cool to watch them make it

Yelp
Profi's caught my eye right away as I walked into RTM for breakfast. The menu is extensive, from sweet to savory crepes, as well as croissants. They're both big, and while I can speak for the deliciousness of the crepe, I didn't try the croissant but I imagine it's top notch as well! They have 2 neon lit-up signs so you can't miss it. Waited about 7 minutes for the food so it's quick! Also had about 15 high-top seats for comfort!
google avatar

Mona L.

Yelp
Poor customer service. The woman who took our order was not friendly, and did not help us understand the options on the menu. I finally figured out what I wanted and was waiting for them to make my breakfast. I watched as she used a cutter to cut sausage with someone else's order, and then she use it later to cut my son's pancake. By the way, we don't eat meat and we don't want any contamination of sausage oil and juice on my pancake. When I told her this very kindly, she started yelling at me, saying she didn't wanna go back to the sink just to watch the cutter for me. She then proceeded to use a random knife to trim the pancake edges that she contaminated in the first place. Disgusting! Oh, and by the way, they make you pay $.75 for whipped cream and it's not even real whip cream Very inconsiderate!
google avatar

Allie A.

Yelp
Wow, who'd thunk that a creperie would have actual seating! Located near the front of the RTM, it's a place to plop down and order a quick crepe. I was here on a very busy late Saturday morning and my Nutella crepe arrived within a few minutes after I ordered it. Generous filling and about $5. So fresh and soft. Next time I'll order it with strawberries too. Mmmm.
google avatar

Aastha U.

Yelp
I tried both the veggie/egg/cheese and the turkey bacon/egg/cheese crepes, and they were both great! The filling was tasty and plentiful, and the crepes were sweet, which added a nice balance to the savory filling. Also, their coffee is so good! Def recommend for an easy breakfast.

Chris R.

Yelp
They serve outstanding crêpes here. I got the banana, strawberry, and Nutella crepe and my wife got the bacon egg and cheese -- , we both loved them. And we know about crêpes -- my wife is an expert at them. However, I did not realize that whipped cream and walnuts was extra, so just be mindful that if you want that you need to specifically ask.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Loved my sweet crepe. Had pineapple, raspberry, blueberries in it. Very tasty and filling for lunch. They were out of strawberries, which I prefer. And they didn't put much powdered sugar on it. I enjoyed it tho.
google avatar

Tamrina M.

Yelp
Took forever to order and get the crepe. But the crepe itself was pretty standard and delicious. We got the banana nutella crepe with whipped cream.

Samantha S.

Yelp
I went to this place with my husband today (12/22) at 2:30 p.m. my husband ordered a crepe (order number 88). First of all, their workers all work with headphones on (not a problem if you know how to talk to your customers) This worker (tall, young man) was extremely rude, and we didn't hear him calling our number. He brought our food and rudely said: I have called your order ten times (we were in 2 people and none of us heard anything) and then he tossed our food in front of us. Please teach your workers how to talk to your customers, this is unacceptable. Never again!

Yelp
We have tried a few different crepes here over the past couple of years and I think that they do both sweet and savory crepes really well. In fact, I would say that this place makes the best crepe "sandwiches" that I have ever had. The "Paris" crepe with raw veggies, pesto, and feta was one of my favorites (we added turkey for some protein). we recently had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast crepe and it was likewise delicious. The mix of a slightly sweet crepe and the breakfast eggs and meat was kind of like a fancy McGriddle (although I am sure that true crepe aficionados will disdain this comparison). The one downer of Profi's is that it is located in Reading Terminal. While this market is a great place to do some shopping and pickup food to-go, the dining experience is horrible in this bustling cramped space. The upside is that the crepes make for a great meal to eat on the go! You can eat it right out of the foil like a burrito. PRO TIP: Stop by after the breakfast rush on a weekday and Reading Terminal is significantly less crowded!
google avatar

Megha D.

Yelp
Stopped in Reading Terminal Market for breakfast! Profi's smelled delicious and there weren't a ton of breakfast options available so we headed there immediately. The line wasn't overly long and moved pretty quickly. We had the caramel, peach & strawberry crepe with powdered sugar and walnuts on top. We also were able to sit at the high tops there. The crepe was absolutely delicious and incredibly soft and sweet. Since I split with my boyfriend, we were still hungry (which wasn't a bad thing since we got to check out more of the market!) but it probably would've been a solid breakfast if I had eaten it myself. Overall, would definitely recommend stopping by!

Elle W.

Yelp
Crepes are out of this world! Quick, with friendly staff! I'll stop every time I swing through the market!!!

Nicholas H.

Yelp
Profi's Creperie is and absolute must stop in the reading terminal market from sweet to savory they've got you covered my favorite is the Philly crepe but they've got sweet options too like the Nutella and banana they have got you covered great customer service all around would highly recommend.
google avatar

Brooke D.

Yelp
Hands down the best thing I have ever eaten!!!! I got the "prima Dona" which is a sweet crepe with apples, caramel, ice cream, and whip creme. They peeled and sliced a fresh apple right in front of me. So yummy!!
google avatar

Elena K.

Yelp
I tried 2 crepes and the Philly one had so much acidic A1 sauce poured on it, it made the crepe completely inedible. The grand Marnier one was undercooked, and had literally alcohol poured on it. Very odd flavors for both savory and sweet crepe and very disappointing.

Jared F.

Yelp
Eat here almost every morning before work !! Service is always spot on ! Breakfast sandwiches & the Philly (1) crepe are my go twos

Diego A.

Yelp
Had the strawberry banana Nutella crepe. It is as if God sent his Angels down to hand you your own crepe made by the gods themselves. Melted in my mouth, flavor was incredible. 10/10 you must try everything on the menu before you die.
google avatar

Ambiya A.

Yelp
It's simple.. you love crepes than you wait for this peace of heaven!!! We had sweet and savory.. and so far iam as yet to find a fault..
google avatar

Marina N.

Yelp
The line here is so long during breakfast time but it moves fairly quickly. We got one of their savory crepes - the ham one. It was so good! It came out warm and crispy. It had a decent amount of ham, as well as select veggies. The thing that completed the crepe was the dijonaise, which was basically dijon mustard with mayo. Would recommend you to try their savory crepes if you've only ever had the sweet ones!
google avatar

Lydia B.

Yelp
I have a special place in my heart for crepes. When visiting philly I stayed across the street from the market and decided to come try the crepe for breakfast. My traveling buddy tried the lemon and grand mier Savory Crepe. I had a bite and it was delicious! The nutella and banana crepe that I had was a little pricier than the simpler crepes but it was delicious. Definitely check this place out if you like crepes!
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
Swung into Reading Terminal Market for a quick lunch during a conference. Profi's has sweet & savory crepe options, as well as smoothies. There is some counter space to stay and eat at, but mostly to-go. I snagged a spot to eat my lunch - I chose a savory crepe w/Chicken, Tomatoes, Spinach & Cheese. It had great flavor and was fresh, filling, and perfectly hot. It's pretty loud inside the terminal, so just be prepared for that when ordering/ eating - but to me this was expected! The terminal market gets VERY busy and on this occasion I was able to swing in and out for lunch in about 15 minutes but there are times when that likely wouldn't be the case - it all depends on what the rest of the crowd is interested in that day! Crepes are served on styrofoam plates - the only thing I didn't really like about this place.
google avatar

Pavina S.

Yelp
Wanted something a bit light for breakfast/lunch but still enough to hold me over in the afternoon. I got the chicken with pesto, spinach, and mozzarella. They put in a good amount of the filling and I was super satisfied with it. I saw others get the nutella with banana and strawberries and those looked amazing as well. Need to come back to get their sweet crepes too!
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
Ordered the Seafood and Nutella Banana crêpes for a quick snack. I came here around 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded. There was a small counter space to eat at, but most customers ordered to-go. Great customer service and I got my food very quickly. The crêpes were delicious and good for the price! Can't wait to try the other crêpe options!

Megan R.

Yelp
Amazing crepes I got strawberries bananas Nutella - the crepe was so thin and full of flavor so soft and chewy- I wish I got two and brought home as I don't like in Philly anymore.

Judy R.

Yelp
Great crepes// highly recommended. The steak egg and cheese was Amazing so was the strawberry banana Nutella. Excited to try the seafood crepe!
google avatar

George P.

Yelp
Fun, tasty, short order crepes to hit the spot in fun Reading Terminal! Got some dessert crepes for the kids as a reward for not whining while hoofing it through a rainy Philly day. Try the Nutella crepes with fruit, yummy yummy yummy.
google avatar

Abby K.

Yelp
The crepes are tasty and fairly prized. So far I had the nutella banana and Philly crepes. They were all good. They are so many options and the staff's is super helpful. Highly Recommended!
google avatar

Chad D.

Yelp
I may be one of the biggest crepe fans out there! They can be hard to find, but I rarely pass an opportunity to get one! I got the steak and cheese since I'm in Philly! It was great and I'd get it again. I also got a Berries and Cheesecake for dessert.... it was good but I should have gotten a Nutella one. I Will be back for the Nutella!
google avatar

John O.

Yelp
Ah one of the shops in the RTM. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The crêpes are from sweet to savory. My wife opted for 'La Prima Donna' a caramel apple crêpe, I opted for the Paris crêpe with ham. Food was very good. Of course a big challenge is finding someplace to eat when it's busy!
google avatar

Katarina S.

Yelp
I gave only three stars because while all combos look pretty good, the crepes themselves are a bit too thin, crispy, and have a mellow taste. I was expecting a softer texture and a better taste not diluted by milk and water.
google avatar

Peijean T.

Yelp
Pretty solid for a creperie. The menu is pretty extensive with around a dozen savory options including Philly cheesesteak style and even one with fresh crab. There are lots of sweet options including several choices with Nutella. I think the pricing is a little high. My friend's was $8.50 and it had a good amount of beef but not too much, and mine was a more reasonable $4.50 for a breakfast crepe. For the two of us plus drinks it was around $19. I feel like we could've had a lot more filling food across the way at the fried chicken shop but we did want crepes. Cash only, because there was a sign saying their register was broken.
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
I got the roasted chicken by their suggestion. An odd choice for breakfast but it was really very good. Would definitely come back
google avatar

Rachel A.

Yelp
How do you eat crepes for breakfast when the only crepe you are used to eating is filled with Nutella and strawberries? Profi's Creperie makes it easy for you by offering all the items you'd find in a breakfast sandwich in a crepe. Scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, etc. If you don't fancy crepes you can get your breakfast on a croissant. But really, if you do that, then why did you go to Profi's Creperie? I was going to get one of the savory crepes filled with turkey or ham but chickened out at the last minute. It just sounded so boring and bland. How could I go for that when the menu above me was offering crepes with nothing but sweet things and ice cream a la mode? I stepped out of the line to rethink my breakfast and then got back in to order a crepe filled with pineapple, strawberry and honey! Semi sweet and semi healthy. I watched the guy make my crepe. He sliced a fresh pineapple ring into pieces and slivered the strawberries on to the crepe with great skill and speed. He drizzled everything with honey, folded the crepe into a perfectly crispy triangle, and topped it with powdered sugar. My crepe was light and all around fantastic. I recommend this crepe as an alternative to the breakfast crepes. It would also be great as a snack or dessert. My companion ordered the breakfast crepe filled with eggs, ham and cheese. I was assured that it was not boring nor bland. Profi's Creperie is leaps and bounds better than Mes Amis Creperie at the Public Market in Emeryville, CA. It's a sure winner in the zoo of the Reading Market Terminal.
google avatar

Maura V.

Yelp
Came in around mid morning on a Friday for some breakfast and got the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. The counter seating wasn't full so I sat down and waited about 10 min for my food. It came out nice and hot, but the flavor was lacking. I'd say it was good, but not great. The buttery flavor was a little overpowering and the eggs couldve been spiced up more. The croissant itself was softer than I expected. I was hungry, but next time, I'd like to try somewhere else in the market.
google avatar

Nell C.

Yelp
Profi's Creperie batter is one of the best I have had in the states! Smells good, well made and tasted delicious! Both savory and sweet crepes are a good selection. Try both! Guaranteed a win! Line in the Reading Terminal is longer than usual but the chefs are fast! Worth the wait!
google avatar

Kelly P.

Yelp
DELICIOUS. i went around 4:30pm on a tuesday, where not too many people were milling around the area so i got a seat at the counter and chatted with the gentleman who works there (forget his name already). he suggested i try the #10 with blueberries and blackberries, in addition to strawberries. it was definitely to die for and i cannot wait to add this to my repertoire of where i drag my philly-visitors. i believe my total was $7.02, which means i will not be treating myself to this high-calorie dessert too often, because i cannot justify it. but you best believe i'll be looking for excuses to taste that again!!!
google avatar

Anji C.

Yelp
The crepes here are absolutely spender, and whether you're in the mood for sweet or savory, they have everything for any mood you may be in and more. The flavor combinations are splendid-- the crepes don't simply have one flavor or a favor that overpowers everything elseC they're a combination of flavors that balance together to create a dynamic and delicious taste. The chefs really care about the quality of their food and that you enjoy it. Upon asking for mine to go, I was told not to wait to long as the chef was worried about the crepe not being at its best. I highly recommend for the fast & friendly service and the amazing food. Though the venue is a little difficult as it is in Reading Terminal Market. It may be hard to find a seat during specific times, and the crowd moving around can feel a little overwhelming.
google avatar

Ashwin D.

Yelp
Its one of the nicest creperies I've been. Its authentic and the folks are super friendly. You can sit by the glass and watch as the magic unfolds, or should I say folds. The crepes are freshly prepared in front of you, and are quite delicious. The breakfast crepes are good, but the Nutella, Banana and Strawberry is the best.
google avatar

Yunica J.

Yelp
A little taste of France in the heart of Philly. I came here around 9am on a Wednesday morning, so it wasn't too crowded. I ordered a breakfast ham, egg, and cheese crêpe and got to watch them make the crêpe right in front of me. It was affordable ($5.55 excluding tax+tip), filling, and delicious, albeit slightly heavier than what you'd get on the streets of Paris. I definitely want to come back to try some of the sweet crêpes!
google avatar

Kristen C.

Yelp
Located inside Reading Terminal Market this creperie is divine! C'est tres bon! I got the Nutella banana raspberry crepe. Delicious! If you can think it they have it, in a crepe. They have dessert crepes and breakfast crepes. They're all under $10. If you're in Philly then make sure you try them. They also serve breakfast all day!
google avatar

Luca T.

Yelp
Profi's is a fantastic dessert option if you find yourself at Reading Terminal. They have some incredibly unique sweet crepes with toppings like peach and caramel that I haven't seen very commonly. When I wandered around Reading in search of dessert, I honestly wasn't planning on eating here. It did catch my attention though, and the menu did an excellent job of highlighting the more unique crepe combinations they served. I decided on the caramel, peach, and strawberry crepe that the cashier recommended to me, and I wasn't disappointed. For around $8, the crepe was large and well-filled with ingredients. I wasn't sure what to expect given the caramel in the crepe, but my first bite was pure bliss. I half expected the caramel to make the crepe sticky and slightly off-putting, but it was just the right level of juiciness without making the crepe itself soggy. My only regret is not being able to try more of their menu items, so please go make me proud.
google avatar

Namitha S.

Yelp
Ordered a couple of savory and a sweet crepe. They burnt the veggies in the veggie crepe. The pizza crepe was good! The apple caramel crepe was scrumptious!! The crepes are served hot. Had got to-go due to lack of time. The staff took the effort to pack them with fork and knife in each of the boxes. Overall, good place. But not the best crepes I have eaten.
google avatar

Lilli M.

Yelp
A fine choice to get fresh and tasty crepes for a pretty reasonable price. There's quite a variety of savory and sweet crepes. One of my go-to choices is the nutella strawberry + banana crepe for $7.50. It's extra to add vanilla ice cream but I usually get it with the ice cream too! It's fun to be able to watch crepes (yours and others' crepes) being freshly made right in front of you, and reassuring to see fresh fruit being used (no frozen strawberries!). The downside is that there's limited seating at the counter - maybe 10-12 bar stools, often occupied - so you may have to sit in the general seating area but no big deal. This place is very busy on the weekends (as is the entire Market in general, I guess). The other thing to note is that everything is served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery but this is a casual place to eat, so that's to be expected. I'm still waiting for the right day to try the sweet crepes @ Max Brenner's but those are two times the price of these so Profi's is still my go-to place for crepes! Go early or at an odd hour to snag a seat if you want to avoid the crowds.

Yelp
This is one of my go-to stands at RTM. My kids are now also addicted. Last week I had an utterly delicious Parisian crepe- chopped onion, peppers and cucumber tossed in Dijon with ham and feta. Very filling portion. My daughter had an enormous pineapple crepe with caramel. Service is quick and always friendly. I'm a fan!
