Had my birthday dinner here recently. Prime rib, veggies, Greek salad and a few tasty deserts. Aside from a rather simple preparation, the prime rib was plentiful and super tender. Service was fantastic.

Google
Great old school fine dining establishment. Sat at the bar and the bartender Jamie was a pro. Great martini. We had the crab cakes and prime rib. The crab cakes were as good as any I've had in Baltimore, and prime rib was huge and cooked perfectly. Mostly regulars who have been coming here for years. Highly recommended.

Google
The food was great up until the desert. The stuffed mushrooms and calamari for appetizers were decent. The seafood we got for our entrees was great. I got the combination #2. We also split an order of the king crab. It was all pretty awesome until we got the creme brulee. The entire thing was served hot, the center was hot and liquid, with liquid whipped cream, and very sunken. It was such a let down and ruined how great everything else was. The sugar was burned to the point where the top was pitch black. Not sure how that made it out of the kitchen and it brings the question of quality control. I expected more for a $265 meal. The service was also mediocre a majority of the time we were there.

Haven't been here in years, and cannot say enough positive things! Not the least expensive place 😏, but you do pay for what you get! The atmosphere is so relaxing and romantic and the food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was just as lovely! Wonderful place to go, especially for a special occasion!!!

Google
My brother and sister in-law took us out here for our anniversary! We had a fantastic time out with them! I got the rib eye, medium rare. It came out perfectly. My wife got the fillet mignon, ordered medium. However hers came out Rare. Waitress was told about it and she took it and brought the same steak heated up a little. Still rare My wife ate it anyways. The food tasted amazing, the service was lacking. No apology for a steak house cooking the wrong order. They acted high, Richy, self entitled. And almost upset that we said the steak was raw.

Lauren Scharadin

Google
It was my first and last time at this establishment. I ordered a filet, medium. First time it came out, rare. Like BLUE rare. Sent it back came out a 2nd time. Same. Our waitress “spoke to the manager” and came back and asked me if I wanted something else. No! I just wanted a medium filet, which shouldn’t be difficult at a place known for steaks. Third time it comes back, chopped into 4 pieces and still rare. They finally cooked a new steak and I was hopeful…..rare again. I gave up at that point. No manager or owner came to apologize. The waitress was short with us the entire time. Won’t ever be back.

Google
A wonderful casual restaurant with excellent steaks and seafood. The atmosphere is very friendly from the owners to the patrons. If you're feeling festive, try the ginger bread martini. Happy New Year!

Google
Some have said the decor is dated. To me, I think it's perfect. It has the feel of the 60's and 70's when people got dressed to go to eat and socialize. The food was phenomenal and the dining experience was second to none. Definitely the special "go to" place in the Harrisburg area

Yelp
Unsurprisingly, many couples chose the local iconic Progress Grill to celebrate Valentine's Day. It was a busy night. Hubby made our reservations because he knew we would have a fine dining experience for a romantic night. The food: superb appetizer and entree choices, including stuffed mushrooms, Surf and Turf, stuffed flounder, and those beets; oh my, everything was delightful. My only disappointment was that our server didn't share the dinner specials, assumed we wanted regular still water, forgot our salads, and brought the wrong dessert. Please note. We did receive our side salads to take home with our leftovers.)

Yelp
We love the progress grill I've been going there for about 40 years and it's been the same high quality it has always been the food is amazing I highly recommend the crab cakes with the side of apple sauce and feta cheese and olives (the ones with the pits in them) I have never had a bad experience here!

Sean J.

Yelp
This is a 1/2 star restaurant not 4 stars. overpriced menu, slow service. 0 for 6 on each entree we attempted to eat.

Yelp
After a long drive, we stopped for dinner at the Progress Grill toward the end of the day. Tip: PG normally adds a tip to the check for groups to avoid problems Food was outstanding, especially the seafood! The atmosphere was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly :-) The menu here is extensive, and no matter what you order you really can't go wrong - highly recommended!

Cuong D.

Yelp
A great restaurant with great ambience. Love these older restaurants in our area. They give you so much food. You're also paying for a second meal.

Yelp
Classic steakhouse! If you like a great meal and attentive service this is the place. My wife took me there for my birthday. We shared fried zucchini, and I had onion soup. I had a huge ribeye and my wife had scampi and scallops. All the food was delicious and perfectly prepared. We split a delicious piece of tiramisu Our server was knowledgeable and on top of everything. The decor was nice, but hasn't been updated in a while. On the whole, a good night out

John R.

Yelp
Once again - excellent! Every time we visit Harrisburg, PG is the first stop. Last evening family had crab cakes, which are the best we have found anywhere. Also, Filet mignon, Greek salads, and jumbo Soft ShellCrabs. Our family has been coming here for decades and what's amazing - the quality is the same over all these years. There are very few old world-high quality restaurants like this around any longer.

Susan T.

Yelp
Our Waiter was great-attentive but not overbearing. Both my husband & myself ordered the lump crab cakes which were truly full of crab. My husband was born & raised on the Chesapeake Bay so he knows his crab dishes!! The balance of the meal was sorely lacking. The accompanying asparagus, which is now in season, was obviously old. One could see that from it's appearance. Shriveled with no heads. Unedible. The purple sweet potatoes were so undercooked I couldn't eat them. They also lacked any sweetness or flavor. I should have sent those items back to the kitchen, but we were driving from NC to NH & had a long way to go the drive, so no extra time for sending back my plate

Beth H.

Yelp
Best crab cakes you will ever have. Years ago I took a friend there from Maryland of all places - and she said these crab cakes were the best she'd ever had. They are still the same, getting close to 30 years later. The ambiance is circa 1990, but that's okay because the food and service are exceptional.

Yelp
Overall: Three generations of my family have been eating at Progress Grill for 20+ years. Stepping into the restaurant is almost like stepping into a time capsule, in the best way possible. The atmosphere, much of the wait staff, and the standard (especially with the crab cakes!) have not slipped an inch. Appetizers: French Onion Soup ($7) - A relatively mild, but tasty onion broth, with plentiful bread and perfect amount of melted cheese. One of the best onion soups around! Oysters Rockefeller ($16) - These oysters were large and tasty, and the garlicky spinach helped make for a great bite. Entrees: Crab Cakes w/ French Fries + Baked Potato ($40) - This is the gold standard for crab cakes. BIG lumps, only a little filler, and perfect flavor, broiled to a crispy perfection on the outside. We are forever searching for a crab cake that meets this high bar, and we have yet to find it.

Yelp
As usual the lump crab starter was exceptionally great as well as the Greek salad. I tried the stuffed shrimp which were butterflied and 'stuffed' with crab. The flavor was good but the butterflied shrimp never had the shell removed and I wasn't expecting that. What happened is the shrimp were very under cooked and the shell did a number on my lip. This is the 1st time I left Progress Grill not as happy I usually am. Incidentally, the service was wonderful.

Yelp
Have been here so many times and every time we have thoroughly enjoyed our food and service! My husband said my hands down has the best New York strips.

Kellie H.

Yelp
First time. It was exceptional. We all had the #2 combo. Started with a house salad and home add blue cheese dressing. Fresh warm rolls and butter. Crusty and tasty. The combo was a crab cake, crab imperial, shrimp and scallops and stuffed haddock. The scallops were sweet and tasty! The crab meat was plentiful. Side was Brussel sprouts. This place is well worth the price. We took 1/2 of our meal home for lunch the next day. It's well recommended and was packed at 5pm. I will be back many times. The table next to us had prime rib and steaks. They looked amazing. But, it is known for its seafood. Don't miss out and the 80s decor is fun !

William P.

Yelp
The service was top notch! The steak and sides excellent! Crème brûlée was also wonderful!

Yelp
A Harrisburg institution! It's a family run operation (as I understand, for 40 years), characterized by great food and even better service. The crab-cakes are phenomenal (my colleague is from Maryland and gave his stamp of approval), and my NY Strip was high end steakhouse quality. We felt like dignitaries as several family members stopped at our table to check in. Mrs. Karagiannis even packaged us a couple slices of complimentary Baklava to-go.

Yelp
Couldn't get enough ...DELICIOUS! Don't miss out .... Owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Absolutely love it here ! Lamb chops just to mention are superb . Can't wait to go again and again and again, add the side dishes and desserts , and you're all set . They have a fantastic variety and hope you like Greek food .... Adds that special touch to everything ! Enjoy Enjoy !!!!! Steamed clams is a great starter.Greek Salad is amazing , Lollipop Lamb Chops, OMG! Ny Strip fiancé was blown away , Seafood Bisque, Oysters Rockefeller, highly recommended. Ambiance was lovely , very comfortable, either dressy or very casual... you choose and relax , be comfortable!

Kay L.

Yelp
This is a restaurant that has been there for decades, but always seems to create a good meal for its customers. Crème brûlée is incredible! They could use a bit of a decor upgrade. Very old-fashioned looking.

Yelp
We have always enjoyed our meals at the Progress Grill and therefore asked some friends to join us last evening Unfortunately we were seated in the area next to the bar where it was a little chilly. We ordered our drinks which were very good. We then had appetizers osters and salads. However before we had finished our appetizers our entrees were served onto our crowded table and we were not able to finish our Greek salads which I always enjoy We were very rushed instead of being able to relax and enjoy our evening Our food was excellent but served on cold plates Also the mixed vegetables were cold For a $300.00 evening I did not relish being rushed through our meal instead of enjoying your good food and relaxing with our friends Ann M

Yelp
The food is excellent! Very old school! They keep reservations in a big book! Wait staff is some of the best in Harrisburg!
google avatar

Yelp
Service, quality of food and consistency! This restaurant is the best on the east shore. If you liked it twenty years ago, it is the same quality of food today. The wait staff have been there for years and treat you like royalty! Not close always greets you with a pleasant smile and will most likely remember you. I love the steaks, big and cooked perfectly every time. The prime rib is thick and juicy and full of flavor! Also, the seafood is fresh and a large portion will fill you nicely. And, don't forget the crab and shrimp appetizers--no other restaurant has the size and quality! Needless to say I love this restaurant and have been going there for 35 years! Nick and John have done what few other restauranteurs have achieved, greatness!

Yelp
This place is deceptively great. The signage out front reminds me of an older cocktail bar. The decor inside is comfortable and clean. If you are looking for a perfectly cooked steak and the best crab cake I've had since coming back to PA after 20 years being away, then this is a really great spot. The servers are very helpful and polite. I only wish I had room for dessert!
google avatar

Chad R.

Yelp
I've been dining here for years and never had a bad meal. I wish I could comment on their steaks but I usually get their fried scallops. Their chicken parm is to die for but they rarely have it on the menu. Here are some of the things I can definitely recommend: Fried Scallops (my favorite) Stuffed Shrimp Boneless Grilled Chicken Breast French Onion Soup Prime Rib (one of the best) Stuffed Mushrooms Chicken Parm Side Spaghetti Side Greek Salad Desserts

Yelp
I give The Grill 4 stars because hardly any restaurant gets 5 from me. That said, our server on 11/18 Tammy DEFINITELY merited 5 stars, period. The food, cocktails, setting, and all else were excellent. You really cannot go wrong with any seafood here, and we didn't. One of our guests had a steak; she loved it. Another couple had a pork chop; really liked it. It's one of those places where tradition actually means something, and the owners here seem to be striving to uphold a standard, a pretty high one, and they're doing it well. Go here and eat. It's a good place. ANd by the way, there's a whiny review by an "African American" on here somewhere re: tipping. Note to him: the PG attaches a tip fee for groups because pikers come in and whine about the tip. It's standard. I actually tipped ON TOP OF the standard fee, but I'm a 75 year old adult....and I'm a Caribbean-American. Clear?

Yelp
I wasn't at the Progress Grill for a long time. I was missing some great food. My son took me there for Mother's Day. We were blessed to get seated in a short time. It was great for me because I was using my walker. My son had the lamb chops and I had the crabcakes we had a waiter who was just great. It was such an enjoyable meal and atmosphere. We will be going back when our family comes in from Michigan. Our waiter was Cory. He was an excellent waitstaff. Kind and courteous. The hostess instructed us on how my son could exit me out to the parking lot with no steps. We will be back.Thankyou. Fran Grutza

Yelp
A Harrisburg tradition! When you're tired of lackluster service, want a classic meal out with linens and a staff that is truly pleased to see you, make your reservations as a courtesy to dine here. I've been coming here since the 1980s, and always had a wonderful meal. The food is well prepared, the service is top notch, and the bar is well stocked. I traveled worldwide during my career, and while some restaurants were flashier, I always enjoy coming home and entertaining guests here. Hint: Plenty of parking in the back lots!

Laurie H.

Yelp
Went again and it was amazing! The stuffed flounder, with crab meat was out of this world along with the oysters on the half shell! I like how the stuff takes care of you and the meal is always fabulous!!

Yelp
A consistent, delicious staple. No fluff, just fantastic food done right. Never change.

Yelp
Glad to see the Progress Grill is surviving the pandemic! Haven't been here in a while and since we are celebrating the "Better Half's Birthday I let her choose! She said let's go to the Progress so we did! She had a Seafood Bisque soup for starters Cream and Chunky she said it was delicious!. Her next course was a house salad and then she had the Crab Cakes. My appetizer was a Grey Goose Martini with a couple of three olives, I ordered the Prime Rib with a Baked and Brussels Sprouts. The Prime was delicious with plenty of flavorful Au Jus I ordered it Medium. Tender and thick it was one of the best Prime Ribs I ever had! I also finished off one of the wife's Crab Cakes and my personal option is don't go to Maryland go to the Progress Grill. We finished the night with Tiramisu and coffee! We had a great night & a Great Dinner! The Progress Grill remains a very Epic place to have an exquisite dinner!

Yelp
Walked in.... Bartender basically yelled at me.... I asked for water and she looked at me crazy. I ordered the lump crab meat and it was a crab cake in a bowl.... Definitely disappointed... I would of ordered 2 crab cakes for that.... How do y'all charge $50+ a plate... and using frozen brussel sprouts.... Y'all fell off... As i was sitting there older gentleman across the bar from me... asked for his check... he pulls out cash... the bartender said "his name" you're paying with cash??!! Wow. The older gentleman said... yeah... I'm tired of you guys scamming me on my credit card receipts...Stated he will only ever pay with cash going forward... And to end my experience... the two bartenders continuously chatted about me... girls, I could hear you. Do bettter progress grill. It was definitely disappointing tonight. I will never spend another penny in there. If I'm there it's because someone else is paying.

Edward F.

Yelp
Tonight a group of 13 enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Progress in honor of my birthday. Normally a group this large causes problems for the servers and the kitchen staff. Not the case here as the two servers flawlessly went over the specials, took drink orders, appetizer orders, and then the entrées. In a reasonable period of time all the entrées appeared. Everyone was happy with their entrée and it met or exceeded their expectations for fine dining. I saw one of the owners, I think it was John and reacquainted myself to him as a very long-term customer. I think him for his commitment to Maintaining Quality. I had the large lobster tail which turned out to be two large lobster tails and they were as usual the best tasting lobster tails I've ever had. My baked potato and asparagus were perfectly cooked and delicious. A variety of desserts were offered and ordered and all consumed with thorough enjoyment. The outside looks great and inside everything is it well-maintained and new looking with a decor that makes the Progress unique. Edward F.

Yelp
Wow amazing seafood and steak cooked to perfection! Crazy they don't have better ratings.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Prime rib and rib eye are delicious and cooked perfectly. I don't eat crab but family members do and swear the crab cakes are the best around. Good wait staff, experienced and professional. Place could use a little facelift, maybe new carpeting, but overall you won't be disappointed in the food.

Yelp
In honor of my Mom, who LOVED Prime Rib, I hosted a Celebration of Life Lunch at Progress Grill following her Homegoing service next door. Mary was excellent to work with on all of the arrangements. The servers were very attentive and always nearby throughout the 2.5hr we spent in the private dining room. There were about 35 of us in total, a perfect size for the space. I ordered the French Onion Soup, Pork Chops and also tried the Crab Cakes. Soup was tasty. Both entree items were delicious. Pork Chops were extremely juicy, even at medium-well temp. Crab Cakes were packed with crab and very little filler, as they should be. I greatly enjoyed my first ever visit to the Progress Grill and will definitely be back. Fantastic experience start-to-finish.

Melissa C.

Yelp
Excellent tender delmonico, tasty haddock with probably the best tartar sauce I've had in my life (lots of flavor vs relish in mayo), good rolls, lovely butter, powerful cocktails, helpful and friendly staff. We were very pleased and far too full to try desserts. Quieter but warm & comfortable atmosphere. Yes a bit more pricey on some things, but well worth it. A spot for excellent steak cuts often not in other establishments is a bonus as well.

Jenny M.

Yelp
They were very accommodating for a party of 12 people. There was only one small mishap with the steak not being cooked well enough for one person. Overall excellent services. The place is stuck in the 70's so the gratuity is calculated differently. The servers went around to ensure everyone understood their bill incase they added more than they should have. everyone had such wonderful compliments on the food.

Yelp
I have heard about the progress grill for years, and we finally went to it, first impressions of the inside is a 1970s godfather movie, rear clean but very dated, while everything seemed nice they use old 1970 diner chairs. But I came here for the food, they are known for their crab cakes and seafood, I ordered a strip steak with a lobster and my wife ordered a Seafood plate with king crab legs. You get 2sides with every meal, I got a baked potato which mine was pretty small and a salad which was good. On arrival my wife's meal was wrong she had received a lobster instead of the crab legs, it was quickly replaced, but you can tell the waitress was upset because it was her faught and she would have to pay for the lobster. My steak came out great, medium well, and the lobster was large and sweat. The bread seemed fresh and warm. The food was pretty much perfect, while the waitress was average she wasn't great and for a $175 meal I expected more, it seemed she was wanting us gone so she could go home, so a average waitress and a dated interior gives the Progress Grill 4 stars, and I will be back.

Yelp
This place had me worried since the reviews were either really good or really bad. I have to say I enjoyed this place! I decided to go here for my wedding anniversary with my husband. Good thing we called ahead for reservations because this place was packed! The building didn't look very big from the outside but when we pulled around back and saw how much parking, I was very surprised. Once we got inside and climbed 2 stair cases (this is a lot for a pregnant lady like me) we were seated right away. We were seated in the back corner. It was a little tight but they were squeezing as many tables in as possible. The place was packed. I was a little nervous coming here because I heard it can be pricy. I checked the menu online and there were no prices. More worry set in. Meals were around mid to high $20. Not too bad for a special occasion. My husband ordered the prime rib and I got crab cakes. Our waitress was very nice by explaining the 3 different types of crab cakes they have on the menu. We were later told that the prime rib was out and more wouldn't be ready for another hour. Disappointed, my husband ordered a rib eye. He was happy with the taste, flavor and size but had his heart set on the prime rib. I loved my crab cakes! It was large and very filling. You think salad, 2 crab cakes and a baked potato would be enough...it was more than enough! I did enjoy this place and can't wait to be back for more crab cakes and hopefully prime rib!

Yelp
TLDR: Do not visit. They served me an old precooked steak and service was slow. I thought I'd give this place a try because the reviews on Google were nice. I ordered the TBone steak medium rare. My waiter told me there was none left but he would get me a ribeye for the same price. I said great. It came with mushrooms and onions on top. I asked for it on the side. First came bread & butter which was the same as the ones at a local super market. I ordered a bottle of Merlot for $32? I think. Anyways, it was way over priced. Then came my food. Food came out in 5 minutes. They brought me a dry well done tbone steak w mushrooms and onions on top. Which was not what was not what was agreed upon. Furthermore, the steak was room temperature to the touch with artificial grill marks on it. If you go to any legit steak house or cook steal yourself you know to let the steak rest for 15minutes before serving because the high heat from the grill causes the steak toughen up and release it's juices. The 15min let's the steak loosen up and reabsorb the juice/flavors. So all this makes me believe that they gave me a old tbone steak that someone else brought back and was sitting on the counter. After I was done I had to wait another 15minutes for the check. I got so frustrated that I got up and had to ask 2 separate times for the waiter to bring me my check.

Yelp
My fiancé and I made reservations for Valentine's Day for a more formal dining experience. We are not extremely fancy people but this place felt just right for us. The service was fast and the food was excellent. I ordered the "poor mans surf and turf" which was fillet mignon and crab cake. It was prepared exactly how I ordered it (medium). The imperial crab that my fiancé ordered was delicious. I'd highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Like stepping back in time when visiting this restaurant from a quality and decor perspective. If you remember the days of the supper club, then you'll know the type I'm speaking off. Family owned supper club style restaurant that delivers consistently good food and service every time. I've had the steaks and seafood here several times and the quality is awesome. Lobster is sweet and savory if in mood for surf and turf. The chef knows how to prepare lobster properly that brings out its sweetness. Staff is friendly and inviting making you want to keep returning each time you're in the mood for a special meal. You can't go wrong here. I definitely will be back.

Yelp
I dine here occasionally with friends, but keep forgetting to review, so here goes... We always sit at the bar and get great, attentive service from Dori when she's working. There is a TV where you can keep your eye on whatever game is tuned in on the channel. No background music that I recall in the dining room, but if there was, it should be Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett, because this place has that kind of low light, warm, leather banquette, old school vibe to it! Started off with an Oysters Rockefeller appetizer. Four large oysters were delivered, and while they weren't bad, I can't say that they were the best I've ever had. My main entrée was broiled Boston Scrod, with sides of Harvard Beets and Coleslaw. OMG! I've never had Boston Scrod before, but I will say it was out of this world. Perfectly broiled with buttery bread crumbs on top. I love Harvard Beets (I know I'm weird) and they were delicious, as was the coleslaw. The portion size was large and I did take some home in a doggie bag. One thing we were told at this visit was they do not have any draft beer - everything is bottled. No biggie for me since I was drinking wonderful espresso martinis topped with crème fraiche. Don't pass by this place if you are hungry and find yourself on Walnut Street by the Progress Grill.

Yelp
If you are planning to come for dinner on a Saturday night, make your reservation early. We called and could only be seated at 8pm or after. Not a big deal for us - but could be for some. I have always disliked this place as a kid. It was stuffy and over just old. I hadn't been in for a couple of years and the interior is still the exact same. The place can get loud and the decor is very outdated. Overall it is just an older crowd. The drink prices are insane. I admittedly cheap, but I can't justify their prices. The food prices are ok in my opinion. Although, I used to dislike this place, I've never had a bad meal here. I got the grouper, but the crab cakes are always a hit. I don't recommend the Brussel sprouts as a side- they are the steamed kind every kid hates. ( I was hoping they would be the new take on them - via roasting or something) Our total for 3 people came to $75. No alcohol, just food. I'm never rushing back, but when I need good seafood in a land locked hbg, it's on my radar.
google avatar

Taylor B.

Yelp
The food was very expensive, but the quality just wasn't there. The decor is straight out of the 70s - and not in a good way! It was dark and kind of noisy. I would not go back. I had the cheeseburger. I ordered it well done and it came out medium, but tough as a hockey pick. I don't even understand how that could happen. Considering most plates here average $25+, I would expect the food to be superb. That being said, I had the French Onion Soup and loved it.

Heather W.

Yelp
We moved to Florida ten years ago, mainly because we needed to take care of my spouse's mom. She passed away shortly after. I am writing this review because restaurants can't compare to the excellent food we always had at the Progress Grill. If we try a restaurant and like it down here, they are gone maybe two years later. My plan is to work on my spouse to go back to Pa. Besides, the water is unsafe down here, they are overbuilding houses and can't supply water for all, septic systems are horrible, and the over developement is killing the natural beauty and wild life down here. Government is basically one party rule and bad legislation is passed. Yes, big mistake to move down here.

Steve M.

Yelp
Higher end comfort food. Good food. Good value. Good service. Full bar, which was a big plus.

Terence C.

Yelp
I've been to the Progress Grill many times over the last 40 years. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews if i have a good experience I return if I have a bad experience I don't but this time I felt I had to leave my first ever review. The food and drinks were good and the other customers were charming....but the waitress (a much older lady her service was nothing special and treated my guests who spoke French as if they were stupid.... ) NOT so much that if I could give less than 1 star I would. I was my wife and 3 other women 2 from Cameroon, 1 from Paris France. Dinner went well until the end when I received the check $315.00. Once again I had no problem with the bill it was how it was presented. When she gave me the check she reviewed it and said quietly "I didn't add on 20% tip.". I believe in tipping as I see fit. If it's on the restaurants policy to let you know tips are added in I have no problem this was not the case. I tipped $35. and change. When she came back to the table and seen her tip she proceeded in loudly saying that 20% is standard for good service unless I didn't think her service wasn't good enough for that and she would give me a minute in case I wanted to reconsider. I'm not sure whether she thought I didn't look the type to go to a nice restaurant or not. I am a 60 year old African American man who's been in business for over 30 years and have traveled extensively in the world and eaten at some of the best places (shout out to the Hoja Santa in Barcelona Spain)My wife and I consider ourselves somewhat of foodies. I didn't want my foreign guests to feel uncomfortable so I decided to leave her instead of the $35 more dollars in tip. This is her extra tip. I'll be contacting the management tomorrow. I will never return. I'm guess soft in my old age because the younger me would have taken the check back and gave her $0.00. The date was Monday August 21st. 6:30 reservation.

Yelp
Interesting location, from the neighborhood and looking from the outside it is not what you would expect. Once inside you will be pleased to find fine dining and great service. The menu is extensive with wonderful seafood and steaks. All of the appetizers and sides were wonderful. I struggled to choose between the halibut or rib eye, I picked the halibut and was not disappointed. Very nice portions and perfectly cooked. Just the right amount of seasoning, not overly salted. While prices are a little step this is fine dining and I did find the value with the quality, serving size and excellent service. I will come back and would invite others for special events or just a wonderful evening out.

Yelp
Ok..... I'm pretty harsh on many of my reviews. We had the best steak here ( by far) of any restaurant in the Harrisburg area. I hesitate ordering a steak anywhere on Central Pa because most everywhere sucks with steak. The NY Strip we ordered medium rare came out medium rare, it was a very fine cut of steak and it was amazing. We sat at the bar and were taken care of well. Yes, it's old school, it hasn't changed much inside on 30 years and who cares! The Greek salad was 100% on point also and my gf has been talking about that salad for three weeks now. We will be back once a month for sure.
