Iam coming from london.I recently visited Project Chaiwala and was genuinely impressed not just by the cozy ambiance and quality of the food, but especially by the excellent service provided by one of the staff member, Shamsu. From the moment I walked in, Shamsu was attentive, polite, and professional. He managed our order with such care — making sure everything was served correctly, on time, and with a warm smile. Even during busy hours, he remained calm and organized, ensuring that each customer felt valued. What stood out most was his dedication. It’s clear he takes his responsibilities seriously — from delivering orders efficiently to helping keep the space clean and welcoming. You don’t always find this level of service in cafes, and it's people like Shamsu who truly elevate the customer experience. Many other customers around us seemed just as happy — the service, vibe, and personal attention really set this place apart. If you’re visiting Project Chaiwala, keep an eye out for Shamsu — he is doing her responsibility!. Highly recommended café for great chai and even better service.

Located in Cinema Akil (Alserkal Avenue). I love coming here specifically for their smashmosas (smashed samosa), recommend to try Spicy Chola. Their drinks are ok.

Had a great time at Project Chaiwala inside Cinema Akil with my family! Tried the Karak, Sweet Karak, Paratha Butter Chicken, and Samosa Chaat — all super tasty. Big thanks to Team Dipendra for the great service and amazing chai!

LOVE!!!! We had chai from here every day while we were here in Dubai. Reminded me of chai we make at home. I would have one every morning and night. I’ve tried chai from a few different places around here and this has the best chai! If you’re ever looking for a place, I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Their karak tea is really good. I tried the saffron karak chai, and I highly recommend it. You can taste the saffron while still enjoying the strong flavor of the karak. It was potent enough to get me going for the day. Their banana bread was great too. I’d definitely go back if I'm in the area, and I highly recommend them to all karak lovers. They are located in Cinema Akil.

It’s a nice tea joint in a cinema theatre , a different concept and a different experience. I tried their OG karak and cheese sandwich , sandwich was good tea was about ok. Tea is not something that I would go for again. The overall experience is good the place is tastefully done with movie posters around.

Tried the blueberry muffin and was mighty disappointed. Felt like I ate the raw batter which was so hard to even eat. And it was distastefully sweet and seems like the muffin forgot to rise. Pathetic. Never again!

I just visited Project Chaiwala inside Alserkal Avenue (Cinema Akil) and had an amazing experience! Tried their freshly brewed iced teas – absolutely refreshing and full of flavor. Also had some parathas and buns – super delicious and satisfying. Huge thanks to Dipendra for the great service and food– you're truly the champ! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
