The 6 Best Restaurants Near Acadia National Park 2024

"Project Social Kitchen might not have a view of the water, but its patio still feels like a natural paradise complete with mossy waterfalls and overhead fairy lights. It’s easy to spend an entire evening snacking on plates of miso-dressed kale and brussels while sipping fruity cocktails and chatting with the friendly staff—they’ll even bring you a heavy woven blanket if you get chilly after the sun goes down. Make sure to order the duck tacos dabbed in green apple salsa verde and topped with crunchy slices of watermelon radish. " - anne cruz

Google
We found this restaurant kind of randomly on our vacation, and it was the best meal we had in Bar Harbor by FAR!! Friendly staff that immediately offered us blankets and heaters on a cold night, whimsical garden atmosphere, delicious cocktails in beautiful glassware, and incredible food in a variety of cuisines. The plating and presentation was gorgeous, backed up by mouth watering tapas that kept us wanting more! The servers/kitchen did a great job coursing everything out so we had the perfect rotation of flowing food for the entire hour we were there. And they got us out on time so we could make it to our next activity! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return someday.

Google
We LOVED this place for cocktails and appetizers! Great outdoor patio area and amazing food and drinks! The lamb dish was probably our favorite, but we loved them all!

Google
Great place for a fantastic dinner. We were sorted right away. The service was good, and lobster was delicious! Definitely recommend. I tried having lobster as much as I could here in Maine. Very stylish decor and cozy atmosphere. I would recommend check if the y accept reservations on a busy weekends.

Google
Very well mixed and imaginative cocktails! Will is an amazing bartender! Food with flavor and amazingly intended, fresh ingredients that you really need to experience. Vibe is so chill and relaxed. If you want to enjoy yourself, you really need to be part of Project Social.

Google
I recently visited Social Kitchen and Bar, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed—perfect for everything from a casual dinner to a night out with friends. The menu had a great mix of creative and classic options. I tried the Bravas potatos, Oyster rockerfeller, Lamb kabaab,Bruchetta and mussels and they absolutely hit the mark—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The cocktails were also impressive—especially the Tiger Style which was both unique and well-balanced. The service stood out just as much as the food. Our server, Will was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Whether you're looking for a date night spot, a group dinner, or just some great food in a vibrant setting, Social Kitchen and Bar is worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back!

What a hidden gem! My husband & stopped in here tonight for the first time & absolutely LOVED IT! It has such is such a great vibe and our mixologist, Will was incredible! His attention to detail is second to none, he took the time to learn about us & was so genuine and kind. It's not something you see often anymore, but when you do it truly creates an unforgettable experience. He made an amazing margarita, my favorite to date!Tonight was our 3rd night in Bar Harbor and we wish we found Project Social on night #1!

Google
The food was extremely tasty. Best meal I had in a long time. We tried the beef, lobster crepe (both are top!) as well as the kale salad and ceviche. All was awesome. Staff was very friendly. The only thing is that it’s a bit overpriced.

Google
We had a great time! Came for dinner with two adults and a little. Tables under the trees kept things lovely and cool. Our server was very friendly and accommodating with the kids menu which we tweaked for our picky eater. We tried the mezze plate, the tacos, the kale salad, the Nutella crepe, and much more. Every. Single. Plate. Was. Amazing. Ten stars for all around experience.

Yelp
Fast, delicious food in a beautiful outdoor setting in Bar Harbor. All three of the vegetarian dishes we tried were outstanding, with deep and complex flavors that felt warming on a fall evening. The spice on the mayo in the potatoes and the curry in the butternut squash soup are examples of how common dishes are elevated. There are plenty of heaters on the patio to keep folks warm on a colder fall evening. Our server was so friendly and gave us genuine advice on things to do around Maine and checked in with us at just the right intervals. I would definitely recommend this place after a hard day of hiking in the park. The only hiccup was that it took almost 15 minutes for us to be acknowledged when we first arrived at the restaurant... though many servers walked by, not one stopped for a second to say "sorry, the host just stepped away." This bordered on rude, which is unusual given how awesome the rest of the service was. Hopefully just a bit of training if the staff will resolve this issue to make waiting feel less awkward.

Yelp
Lots of outdoor seating (beyond a porch, not sure there was indoor seating). The yard was beautiful with blankets and heaters to keep you warm and comfortable. No reservations and we were seated immediately near a lovely pond. Service was attentive and the staff worked together well bringing and clearing plates quickly. For two of us, we had 5 plates, bruschetta, Caesar salad, crab cakes, potatoes, and beef skewers. They all were excellent! The potatoes were popular and I saw them being delivered to several tables. I loved the crab cakes, beef skewers, and potatoes. I probably would have skipped the Caesar salad and would have gotten the prosciutto bruschetta instead of the regular bruschetta. Everything was great tasting, but those were my favs. It was one of our most expensive meals in the area. Something to think about if that is important. We loved the variety and ability to share so many dishes.

Yelp
Eclectic setting for small shareables in Bar Harbor. The patio seating area is really hard to beat when the weather is nice. Food was solid with a few misses, we got six plates between the two of us and were too full for dessert at the end. Trio of Mediterranean Dips - 4.5/5. Loved the three dips and grilled pita was charred nicely, great way to start Seafood Chowder - 4/5. Little bit lighter than a traditional chowder imo, plenty of seafood & good flavor. If looking for something different than a traditional clam chowder this is a really good option. Mussels - 5/5. Favorite of the night. Tasty, hearty broth and plenty of sausage. Scallops - 4/5. Scallops cooked perfectly, cauliflower purée missing salt. Everything else on the plate very good. Carrots - 2/5. Couple of the carrots on the plate were burnt to the point of being inedible & carrots themselves were not flavorful. Duck tacos - 1.5/5. Came out cold, tortillas were too chewy. Duck had OK flavor but hard to get past the first two issues. Server kind of disappeared on us halfway through the meal and didn't seem to have any idea where we were at on plates, asked us if we needed to see a dessert menu with the last two plates yet to come (in hindsight wish we could've cancelled them and got dessert instead). Also had several plates stack up at one point and think a manager had to come over and clear our table. Would definitely come back if we're ever in Bar Harbor again, this place seems to be a nice change of pace from the standard seafood fare in the area.

Yelp
Very nice place in Bar Harbor with plenty of vegan options. The soup was really really good. The ambiance was eclectic, the staff was really nice and accommodating. I'd definitely go back here, the only reason I took off a star is because the place where we were seated also had a young family and the child was crying the whole time, loudly too- which made us leave early.

Yelp
If you are looking for an alternative in dining, this is the place! With a wonderful outdoor setting and great service, its the food that makes it special. This is a tapas style restaurant that starts with fresh ingredients and creates amazing symphonies of flavor. We sampled the Heirloom Carrots, Bravas Potatoes, Pork Belly, Lamb Kofta, and Duck Tacos (yes, I know, most of the menu) and it was all fantastic! What a great experience!!!

Yelp
Great small plates restaurant with a really wonderful outdoor garden that made for a nice setting for a summer evening dinner. (Didn't check out the inside, but they do have inside seating.) service was great, no complaints. Food was delicious. The patatas bravas had a really flavorful sauce and the right amount of feta. The carrots were delicious. Might've been overcooked for some, but I love carrots roasted and with goat cheese. My husband was really pleased with the steak tartare. I had the scallops. My only complaint is that for the price of that plate vs the size of the scallops I would've loved to have seen one more. They were small but tasty and well composed with the other ingredients in the dish. I wish I had a longer stay to go back and eat my way through more of this menu.

Yelp
Come for the patio, stay for the food. The outdoor seating is so magical. It's a beautiful zen garden with a river and good spacing between the tables to make it feel pretty private or romantic. The food was also unique and delicious. We tried several dishes and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. I was wearing a sleeping baby otherwise I would have taken many more photos or this beautiful food and patio. Staff were very friendly and food came quick. Pretty family friendly and they did have high chairs available.

Yelp
Vibe: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Value: 6.5/10 (just the vibe of tapas!) Hummus: 8 Pork belly with polenta: 9.3 Duck tacos: 9.2 Potatoes bravas: 9 Mediterranean trio: 8.5 We loved this spot! For sure our favorite meal in Bar Harbor - a fun date night after a day of hiking :) Overall: 8.8/10 (4.41/5)

Yelp
Wow ok. What a cute place. It's an old house that is super quaint but also fun and trendy. Had a mezcal cocktail that I loved and also the lobster crepes and steak tartare. Both were over the top and amazing. The bartender was super friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Great place to go for happy hour and snacks. Not the place for a big meal. We stopped in right after they opened and sat in the bar. They have a *wonderful* cocktail menu, and lots of small plates that you can nibble on with your drinks (see the shishito peppers below). I had the cucumber caipirinha - didn't have much resemblance to the one's I make, no trace of brown sugar, but still dang tasty. The wait staff is very responsive - they stopped by at appropriate times to see how we were doing and our new food or cocktail came to our table quickly. It would be tough (and pricey) to come here for a big meal. We had a big lunch that day so were happy with the small plates. We got enough protein by ordering the lamb meatballs, etc. Don't come looking for a big steak or whole lobster. Fun place!

Yelp
This beautiful restaurant in one corner of town is a must try. The place looks nice, the service is excellent and the food is good. I love the small plate idea. Everything we ordered were delicious. The kale and brussel sprout is a must try!!! It came out so good. If you are not much of a kale or brussel sprout person, you are going to think differently now. The cocktails are on point!!

Brie A.

Yelp
Every aspect of this restaurant was perfect. Outdoor seating area with fire pits, and I loved the indoor bar area. Our cocktails were unique and absolutely delicious. While we didn't eat dinner here, we grabbed an appetizer which was my favorite thing I ate during my whole trip in Maine. We planned to come back the following night for dinner but unfortunately they were closing for the season that very night. We were so glad we stopped in when we did!

Yelp
Summary: great restaurant, would definitely return. Walked up on a rainy Tuesday night, despite hostess being MIA, eventually everyone was seated. Food: everything was really good, thoughtful and well executed. Since it's tapas-style, we got to try many different things--this time that included roasted carrots, but next time I'd try the potatoes. My favorite was the beef skewers, served with a delicious red sauce. Duck tacos on masa tortillas were scrumptious. Dessert: tiramisu-flavor was great, though the ladyfingers were a bit mushy to me. Pot de creme was also good, but had that a few days ago at a French place that set the bar extremely high. Service: lovely-all the staff who brought out the tapas-style plates and cleared them were very nice and welcoming. Setting: we were seated on a very nice covered patio next to a little pond.

Yelp
Great drink selection. Outside garden atmosphere is perfection! Appreciated a tapas bar and the beautiful presentation of all the food. The steak tartare was to die for. I wished the med trio dip had more proportionate dip to pita bread ...maybe they should add in a hummus too. The bruschetta could have used a little more balsamic vinagrete.
google avatar

Yelp
The place is really cute and the drinks were great. The place has a great bar, it's big and spacious. The whole restaurant is big, they have indoor and outdoor sitting. They have a fire pit which is great because it was cold outside. I would've like to try the food but I ran out of time Bar Harbor. I will definitely be back when I go back to the area.

Yelp
The setting of this restaurant is quite nice. We sat outside by a small creek with lots of outdoor lights hanging throughout. The service was fine. Our drinks were pricey and a very small pour. I ordered a gin martini that was just way too citrusy but my husband enjoyed his old fashioned. The kale and brussel salad was interesting and very light but expensive at $16. We ordered 2 small plates, a smoked trout dip and hummus platter. Both were fine but not outstanding. We probably don't need to go back here if we are in Bar Harbor again.

Samantha K.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. If you're looking for amazing cocktails and small plates this place is for you. We had a round of drinks and one small plate and we were back two hours later for more. Our favorite cocktails were the midnight and rising sol. My favorite small plate was the duck tacos and prosciutto toast. My fiancé loved the bruschetta. Overall amazing and we loved the vibe of the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
A+ on everything! The kale and Brussels salad was so good! Great cocktails, service and food. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Really enjoyable evening. Our waiter, Benji, was absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside, there was a group of eight of us and they really did a nice job taking care of us. They sat us right next to a heat lamp which was helpful! Our cocktails came out quickly and we ordered two each of all of the small plates. Everything was delicious. There were some real big surprises - everybody loved the roasted carrots and the mussels! I ended up also ordering the butternut squash soup and I was blown away by the flavor it was so darn delicious! I had planned on taking pictures of everything but that just did not happen I just wanted to eat everything!
google avatar

Yelp
They have a limited menu, but very delicious food. The portions were generous. We got the lobster crepe, which was huge and sharable. The beverages were equally delicious. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive (thank you, Alex). We sat outside, and the ambiance was fun with hanging herbs & flowers.

Yelp
Everything we had was amazing, drinks were great, wish we could have ate more! Service was great, the chef even came out and talked to us. Loved the garden vibe on the patio.

Yelp
This place was recommended by a local and I'm so glad we stopped by. The cocktails were unique and delicious. If you like pineapple, you have to get the Pineapple Express, it's now in my top ten favorite cocktails I've tried. It was so creamy and delicious, kinda like a fancier version of a Piña Colada. All the menu items are small plates and if you come with a friend or date, you can easily share items and taste everything you want to try. The oysters were fantastic and honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You need to get the Pokè rolls, chefs kiss.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by for some cocktails and snacks while visiting from NY. We thought the garden was the cutest and so we stopped in on a whim. Everything is small plates, and they recommend 2-4 plates per person. Cocktails: My husband ordered the Pineapple Express which had a pineapple-infused mezcal and cayenne syrup. It definitely had a kick! The vanilla foam on top was a nice sweet touch to cut the heat. I ordered the Paloma, because I also love mezcal, and love the grapefruit combo in a paloma. It was really yummy, especially with the pink peppercorns on top. I wanted to try something different after, so for my second drink I ordered the Uva Dolce - it was gin and sparkling red wine with sage bitters and a fresh sage leaf on top. It was SO good/floral/herbal if you're into that. And the presentation was beautiful. For our bites: - Grilled shishito peppers - so yummy to snack on - Artichokes with parm crisps - these were awesome. - Lamb meatballs - so delicious with tzatziki - Bone marrow: when this first came out, we were given a bone that had not even ONE spoonful of marrow in it. I was about to call over our waitress but before I could do that, the chef came to our table. He said that he saw we got a crappy bone and that he'd bring us a new one to replace it. He brought us one that was HUGE and more than made up for it! It was delicious - cooked perfectly, and served with an amazing stone-ground mustard. This was a great place to go for cocktails and light bites. Super cute decor and friendly staff.

Yelp
Had the loveliest dinner here! Fantastic food and gorgeous venue. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** The hostess was so lovely and the gentleman who helped us was so nice!! Definitely made our evening and we felt really taken care of. One of the staff members who walked by even saw us taking pictures and offered to take a group photo for us -- above and beyond from everyone here :) **Decor & cleanliness, 99999/5** Such a beautiful space. The lights, the flowers, the garden, plus the porcelain plates reminded us of Alice in Wonderland. **Price & portion, 4/5** Be prepared for pretty small plates with hefty price tags, but you know what you're signing up for, and everything is so well done it's worth trying at least once. **Presentation of the food, 5/5** So much care goes into each plate! **Taste of the food, 4.75/5** - Smoked trout, 3/5: Tasty, but nothing too special. The trout seemed a little bit dry, but the herb sauce was really good. The only thing I didn't absolutely love. - Chicken liver mousse, 5/5: The best pâté I've ever had. So smooth and creamy that you expect it to be fatty, but there's no oily mouthfeel at all. The mousse itself is a flavor bomb, and pairs so perfectly with the seasoned parsley and perfectly crunchy french bread. - Pork belly, 5/5: Delightfully tender to the point it all melts in your mouth. The white bean paste is also super good! - Beef skewers, 4.9/5: Packed with flavor with a hot (but not spicy) sauce! It felt like it was cooked medium well, but wasn't tough or chewy. It was just a taaaaad dry for me, but was a hit for everyone at the table. - Scallops, 5/5: Perfectly cooked, and such a pretty plate. - Duck tacos, 5/5: WOWWW this was soooo good. The duck looks like pulled pork but is so juicy and tender. The tortilla soaks up all of the goodness, and it's a perfect bite. Might've been my favorite dish of the night. - Zarbinger cocktail, 5/5: Bright, fruity, and refreshing with a little kick from the ginger beer. The flavor has a lot of depth but is still light!

Yelp
1st let me say food is delicious and our service was awesome. The manger was an as,... We got our bill as thought a price for a drink was a price we were quoted but they added on $3 to each drink I had 3 drinks. They added $9 additional dollars to our bill. We told our server we wanted to see the mgr. He was just not nice. No people skills. He made our waitress cry We did not have a problem with her but with us being overcharged. Doubly check your check when you get it!.

Yelp
This was by far the best meal we have had in awhile. The restaurant had been open for only four days in the new season (they have been around for awhile), and service was smooth, tight, and friendly. The food was exceptional. Tuna Poke with rice crisps was divine. The Brava's potatoes were crispy and flavorful and just delicious. My husband had the Lamb Kofka done just right. The Smoked Trout dip was the perfect blend of flavor, zing and crunch. An exceptional meal all around. They could not have done anything better. And the outdoor seating with the lights and water feature made the dining experience so lovely. We will be back!

Lauren B.

Yelp
This place is exceptional! We were in Bar Harbor two nights and actually went both nights because the first night was so incredible. Really unique cocktails and a large variety on the tapas selection. Such attention to detail and really unique atmosphere outside with heaters giving all the Maine vibes. We got full attention from the staff on both nights and really appreciated our dining experience.

A C.

Yelp
Amazing food and ambience was lovely. A little on the expensive side and limited kid friendly options, but would still come back!

Christin N.

Yelp
Nice bar and outdoor seating away from the crazy part of downtown Bar Harbor. Food and cocktails were very good. We had mediterranean trio of dips to start, an innovative scallop dish, caesar salad and crab cakes. All excellent. Would highly recommend.

Kat J.

Yelp
The food was amazing and our server understood we were on a severe time crunch and made sure to help us! Amazing place!

Chris B.

Yelp
What a difference a year makes. Last year we gave our meal an A+ and this year we'll give it a B-. The lobster crepes had very little lobster, the smoked trout was not as good as last year and the duck tacos were just OK. The kale and brussels salad maintained its quality but that was about it. We will not be returning.
google avatar

Jacqui J.

Yelp
Lovely experience from start to finish for a date night in Bar Harbor. We each enjoyed a cocktail (both were delicious - the one with pine and the "mule"). Greatest hits were the pork belly, duck tacos, and scallops. Trio of dips with pita was good for filling up on since the portions are small. Beautifully lit patio with friendly servers. We will be back!

Katy P.

Yelp
Incredible dinner and incredible service. Drinks were amazing. Brussels/kale salad, prosciutto toast, scallops, and patatas bravas were all amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
We loved this place! They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Outdoor is more casual and has music and games. Indoor is definitely more upscale and I felt bad wearing yoga pants inside - seeing as how we had just come from Acadia. It's so funny when we first sat down, we didn't see our typical food choices on the menu. However, we ended up ordering quite a few dishes to try and all of them were phenomenal! We tried beef, potatoes, salad, and a crepe. Everything is made on premises and is fresh. We were able to taste every flavor and no ingredient was used in vain. Our waitress was very nice and explained the menu well. She helped us select items including a dessert crepe. We left feeling satisfied (not overfilled) and happy that we tried this place out. We would not hesitate to return back if we are in Bar Harbor again!

Bill M.

Yelp
It was decent, but seemed pricey for what you get. With so many options nearby, it's tough to really stand out. As a tapas bar, it's fun to experiment and share. The memorable dishes include the Lobster Crepe , crab cake and heirloom carrots. Vibe is fun & relaxed. Enjoyed our server Wendy - very nice & personable.

Yelp
True to its name Project Social Club seems to a place where the menu is a project - worked on and changing, and the social part is that you hang out in the yard and socialize. Which is what happened during my visit. As another review mentioned - this place is more for if you wanna do drinks and apps before going for your main meal. Pretty much just a selection of small plates here. Mussels, lobster rolls, small salads, cheese boards. All things like that. If you're a light eater then this is your place. The Trio of Mediterranean dips were good and the bruschetta was OK. Had a drink and chatted with other out of towners enjoying the evening before making our way to find a meal. The outdoor area is cool and they have music going but not too much else to it here that I could tell. Again if you like small eats and a drink or two this is for you.

Yelp
I have one word for this place "DROOL" it was Soooo Goood! We just got in town & we were worried their kitchen would close early but I called & they said the kitchen doesn't close till 9:00 or 9:30. When we arrived they asked if we were here for just drinks or dinner too & I was worried they were hoping just drinks but when we said dinner they replied "let's do this!" Our server was Anna & she was the sweetest, she showed a lot of personal interests & was super hospitable , not making us feel like she was rushing us in any way. We orders local beer, the fall salad, scallops, pork belly & duck tacos. I seriously had to refrain from licking the scallop dish, it was INCREDIBLE! The fall salad was perfect as well. My husband even said he wanted more. The duck tacos were soooo good, so flavorful. The pork belly was good but not my favorite of the dishes. The G&T list was so intriguing, I thought I'd regret it if I didn't try one so I ordered the Tomcat. Around this time Anna also asked if we wanted dessert & we decided to get the lobster crepe for dessert LOL! I have no regrets, I just wanted to be alone with this crepe it was so good. I also really enjoyed my G&T in the sweet crystal goblet. What a great first night in Bar Harbor!!

Yelp
This was the first meal we had in town. We love to try different tapas! This place was great! Came here around 7:30 pm and waited for about 20 mins. We were placed outdoor in the garden. Very cute place. We wish to hawk be more lights though during our dinner. The food was absolutely great! Every dish was well designed and cooked. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Unique meal, great atmosphere. Super dog friendly, too! The staff was so friendly. Visited this spot on our last night in Bar Harbor and loved it! Between my husband and I we ordered 5 items - chicken liver mousse, bone marrow, scallops, pork belly, and bravas potatoes. All so good! Would definitely come back next time we're in the area!

Yelp
TL;DR: food was 4 stars but just veryy expensive. Come for drinks then have dinner somewhere else. As someone who plans out all their meals before going on vacation, I was excited to go to a restaurant with 4.5 stars in Bar Harbor! While the ambiance and drink/food selection were great, the small plates are more like tiny plates, and they are very expensive for what you get. The menu recommends 2-3 plates per person. If you get a drink and 3 plates, you'll spend about $60-$75 after tax+tip and probably still be hungry afterwards. For drinks, we got Empress 1908 which was good and large! I also got a Blueberry Mocktail which was yummy but teeny. My parents and I were pretty hungry after a day exploring the island and Acadia NP, and intended to eat dinner here, so we ordered the almonds, poke rolls, trio of Mediterranean dips, lamb toast, scallops, and pork belly. The first 3 dishes came out super quickly and they were as previously mentioned, very small. For example, I liked the Poke Rolls, but it was like 3 bites for $18...The lamb toast came later and it wasn't that good. We waited 20 more minutes for the scallops and the pork belly, but they never came out. Our waitress came by several times and even she seemed surprised like they hadn't come to our table yet. We thought we were better off saving the money and going somewhere else for dinner, so we just cancelled the plates and paid.

I like the garden seating and the food is tasty! Worth trying for sure when you are in Bar Harbor

Yelp
Just had a wonderful dinner here. They have three dining areas, inside, porch and garden. I opted for the garden. Amazing ambience with lots of foliage and white lights overhead. My table was alongside a koy pond and stream. Kat was my waitress and she was fantastic! Pleasant and informative! Portions are small "tapas" style. The house recommends sharing but suggests 3 items per person. Perfect for me but larger appetites may want rethink that. I opted for the scallops, chicken liver pate and the bone marrow. The pate and marrow dishes are both rich and fill the 3 dish suggestion quite nicely. I ordered the mousse for desert and it came in a tiny glass. Most people would object but I thought this was the perfect size to satisfy my sweet tooth. Just enough! Love this place! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Just stopped by for a quick brunch on my way to Cadillac Mountain. I forgot to take a picture of the grapefruit mimosa, but it was refreshing and sweet with a sugar rim! The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned well! The only drawback ...I wish the potatoes were crispy. fyi, the potatoes are not crispy..more like baked potato like.

Yelp
Excellent outdoor tapas. We had a wonderful dinner tonight at Project Social. We ordered tapas such as patatas bravos, kale and Brussels, local raw oysters, delicious humus with freshly baked pita, olives, duck tacos, pork belly. Excellent service and beautiful setting.

Yelp
Good food, good service, tourist prices. We came here in the shoulder season with high expectations given all the fantastic reviews here. Our server was quick to check in with us and check to see what we'd like to drink as we considered our dinner options. She provided some good steers, and helped us select some dishes which we both enjoyed. Unfortunately, most of the food was "good," not great, and the prices were steep, even for a tourist town. The fact that there were seemingly no locals here should have been a tip. The mussels were bland and uninspired, and the oysters were similarly decent (but unremarkable). We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails, and thought the scallops and calamari toast were creative and tasty, but both felt that the meal was significantly overpriced for what it was, even at tourist prices. We'd come back for the cocktails and service, but there's better food in town.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and the set up was nice, and service was good. Dishes are small and you'll probably have to order 2-3 per person. We went with some oysters which tasted fresh, the ceviche which had a little kick to it and a good amount of shrimp, scallops that had a good purée served with them, pork belly which also had a cheese purée that was really good, duck tacos that tasted more like a birra taco but overall good, mussels with pork which tasted fresh and the sasusage tasted good as well, and some lamb meatballs which were juicy. All the dishes are worth having again. I think there's only one bathroom, so be prepared to wait should you need to go.

Yelp
My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. We love small plates so we can try different things and Project Social does not disappoint. Our server was attentive and personable and everything we tried was delicious.

Yelp
The inside of this restaurant is very tiny, and the night we went they had no reservations and no wait list, so we had to wait in line outside for a table to open. I would recommend this restaurant for couples, as they didn't have many tables to accommodate a larger group Once we were seated, I really enjoyed the experience. They had a great cocktail list and the drinks come in pretty glasses. We ordered a few dishes to share. Our table was small so they could only bring one dish at a time, but it was a nice way to enjoy the meal. I thought the bruschetta was good but a little vinegar-y. The scallops only came with 3, while the mussels and pork belly were heartier dishes, but all were delicious. One thing I noticed while we were there was that online it said they closed at 9, but they turned customers away at 8:30 and told us it was last call for food at 8:38. Overall, the food and drinks were delicious, but they could do better from an administrative perspective. I would go back again, but I would try to go early in the evening.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Every aspect of it felt really intentional--from the service, to the drinks, to the setting, and the food, of course! It all made for a delicious meal that was delightfully memorable. Would definitely recommend the kale salad (a dark horse favorite at our table). Also great to come with a bigger group, as you can try more of the small plates!
