Prom Country Cheese

A beautiful stop off on the way back to Melbourne. Met the owner who shared that there were 160 sheep on the land. The cheese tasting was a great experience and fun activity for the family, as we voted for our family favourites. The scones were piping hot straight from the oven and the homemade plum jam was divine. Lots of wine, cheese and chopping blocks to purchase. Plenty of parking and a great indoor activity for the whole family on a rainy day.

Nice place, bit smelly but is manageable. Good selection of cheese and decent portion size, milkshakes are quite small and bathroom is a bit old style Place is a bit hard to find, and make sure to take a break after eating as there is a windy road to anywhere you have to go. If you love cheese, this is a great place to go. Wonderful cheese tasting plate to buy and sample their varieties. Room inside and out to sit. Staff helpful and friendly. Some wonderful cheeses and other products to buy.

Stopped here for a quick look today, ended up staying for lunch as soon as we saw the plougman's platter on the board! Amazing price and amazing quality. The cheese was absolutely divine and the portions large! Almost couldn't finish it, was so worth it. The location is stunning, the space itself is beautiful and comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful. Being able to feed the lambs before we ate was such a fun experience, thank you for letting your guests do that! It was a shame we couldn't purchase any of the divine cheeses today due to travel, but I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for any opportunity in the future.

Outdoor scenery, fresh air and beautiful boutique cheese. A place that continues with great service and one of the best cheese platters around! So glad to get back after 12 months.

Ahhhhh definitely stop here! We were able to feed the baby sheep!!!!! The cheese board and scones were delicious! Highly highly recommend!!

Recently visited over the Easter weekend. Good spot to stop by for a break and try their cheeses on offer. Friendly staff and place is also very clean. My suggestion is to consider expanding the beverages menu, even proper coffee would be a good start vs Robert Timms coffee bag!

This place never disappoints me, always great service with so much knowledge and let’s not forget sensational cheese. We Buy something from this ploughman’s platter every time we go. Love the hot fresh bread rolls and its the only place I have been that has fresh hot homemade gluten free option, absolutely yummmy.
