"The patio at this lounge and show bar in Royal Oak is the perfect place to go during weekend brunch hours because of its full menu, extensive cocktail and beer list, and live DJ sets. To eat, there’s a robust list of creative brunch options, including several twists on the classic Eggs Benedict, Key lime french toast, and a breakfast “Wellington” — a puff pastry stuffed with a hardboiled egg that’s wrapped in Detroit sausage, mushroom duxelles, and topped with hollandaise. At night, the spot opens up for karaoke sessions, RuPaul Drag Race viewing parties, Drag Bingo, and other LGBTQ-friendly programming. The place has been a mainstay in Royal Oak since 1991." - Serena Maria Daniels

We are newer to Michigan and were visiting Royal Oak, so I did some Googling for good places to visit. I came across an article on Visit Detroit that mentioned Pronto so we decided to check it out. I am so glad we did!! It’s a super cute place and the owner was warm and friendly. They were setting up for a few big events but still took the time to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was EXCELLENT. I got the Killah Quesadillah and my wife got the street corn salad with chicken. They were both so good that after tasting each, we dove right in. But then we were sad we didn’t think to split them first so we could each have some of both. 😆 We’ll be back for sure!

The food is so great. I had the twisted tomato BLT, and it was legitimately the best BLT I’ve ever had! It had cheddar, arugula, caramelized onions and tomato jam. We will definitely be back

First time here. I got Hudson’s Maurice Salad and it was pretty good. My husband got Cobb salad with added chicken and he liked it. The staff was friendly and the place is ok. The dining area was closed as they said it was under some remodeling so your choice would be eating at the bar or a few high top that they have. The prices are reasonable, if you are looking to have some interesting salads then go here

Pronto's Maurice salad tastes similar to the one they served at J. L. Hudson's restaurant, but had more ingredients. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, Swiss cheese, ham, turkey, pickles, olives, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes and a sweet creamy dressing all for only $13! They have excellent indoor and outdoor dining areas that accommodated our large cycling group wonderfully and service was good! There was even plenty of space to park our bikes!

Came in here for lunch and some drinks with my hubby and the bartender lady started flirting with my husband! She was loud, obnoxious and overbearing and at her age shouldn’t be flirting like that. She showed no care throwing out trash while The trash cans were overflowing and messy like she was in her house. It gave me the appearance that she doesn’t care about sanitation and cleanliness making people’s drink. She was snorting laughing doing multiple things trying to act fast but it was all sloppy and disorderly. She dropped a cork and walked over it completely oblivious. She then walked or rather marched out like she was on a rampage. Very erratic and chaotic! Obnoxiously grotesque and crude! I thought this place would be a classier place but boy was I wrong. On the positives, she had a smile and was nice and the food is really good . The ambience and atmosphere is very classy. I was scared to order some more food to go and drinks because I didn’t want to engage with her. She needs therapy because she is definitely going through something

Went for a colleagues birthday! So much fun! The staff are super nice, the food was delicious and the drinks were top notch! I had the salmon burger, and the spinach dip with the chips was mouth watering! I can’t wait to come back and try brunch!

Old style like with amazing food! Loved the decor. Dinner before the show at Royal Oak Music Theater. We shared the reuben. French fried were so good! Crunchy, could've eaten WAY more. Very nice place. Staff was friendly. Back-in parking on the street.

Came in checking out this bar with a new friend who moved here in Michigan and wanted to see the local bars and grab lunch and we thought it was a welcoming bar but it’s far from it. There wasn’t much people but the bartender did not Acknowledge us or offer us menus or ask what we wanted, instead he is on his phone unbothered and seemed like he was forced to be here. He was a gorgeous man but looks can only get you so far. Eye candy or not, service and hope you treat people defines everything. Looks can lure in people but the service is what will keep the customers to stay and biting. But I don’t have any other complaints, the food was amazing even though I didn’t get it exactly how I ordered it but I didn’t wanna cause a scene with a bartender who is clearly standoffish so I just sucked it up . The atmosphere is great but could have trash cleaned up and empty dishes put away from counter . Seems like they take their customers for granted and could care less for any random customers. Unfortunately don’t think I’ll be coming back. I wish we had more hospitable places here that care about fostering a welcome atmosphere and treat folks decently not I look good but I’ll be snobbish and pretentious places
