Proof of the Pudding

We were initially so excited to work with Proof of the Pudding when we booked with them early in our engagement. The tasting was quite decent, and they offer a lot of customization and vegetarian options, which was important to me. Unfortunately, when all was said and paid for, our experience on the wedding day was SO DISAPPOINTING. The food ended up being much lower quality than what we experienced at the tasting, and a lot of it was cold. Worst of all, the staff THREW AWAY our entire custom wedding cake right after my husband and I cut into it for pictures. Didn’t serve it to us or the guests nor did they box up leftovers of the cake. We never saw it again. If they weren’t sure what we wanted to do with it, maybe just ask before tossing an entire cake? I emailed our coordinator a few days after to inquire and basically got a “whoops, sorry” with no attempts to make things right or reimburse costs. My friend and I made that cake from scratch and I’ve attached pictures so you can see how gorgeous and professional it was (not to mention the sentimental value). I highly recommend booking elsewhere- this is not a good value for the money and their professionalism is seriously lacking.

Proof of the Pudding catered our Office Welcome Reception, and everything was fantastic! Everyone at the Reception raved about the food. The catering team was attentive and friendly. The day of the event, Kamaya, Erin, and Natalia did an amazing job setting up and making sure service was smooth. I felt like I could relax and enjoy the event because they had everything under control! I worked with Nicole leading up to the event and she was fantastic. Always quick to respond to all of my questions and accommodating changes leading up to the event. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Proof of the Pudding for events!

My husband and I had Proof of the Pudding for our wedding catering and Darnell was FANTASTIC!! From the moment we sent an inquiry to Proof of the Pudding, Darnell had wonderful customer service and top notch professionalism. His approach immediately gave us confidence and was one of the reasons we booked with Proof of the Pudding. Our tasting with the team was excellent, by far the best of 4 tastings we had with potential caterers. Darnell was wonderful on our wedding day but the staff that worked with our wedding seemed to be unenthusiastic. One bartender was unfriendly and our VIP server only checked on us twice. She also seemed inconvenienced and we couldn’t find her so our wedding planner would get drinks and water for us. The POP food quality was WONDERFUL!! We had multiple friends and family members tell us that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. To this day, we are still reminiscing on how delicious the short rib was.

Proof of the Pudding did an amazing job as our wedding caterer! Chris was super responsive and easy to work with. She made sure to understand what we wanted for the day and worked hard to make it happen. The food was excellent, and doing food stations instead of a seated dinner made for a more dynamic experience. The staff also made sure that we (the bride and groom) had a chance to eat, even amidst the busyness of the reception. We really appreciate all their efforts and highly recommend Proof of the Pudding as an event caterer!

Our photo team not only enjoys a great meal after a long yet enjoyable day of capturing content, but we appreciate beautifully displayed food! I recently hosted a Quinceañera party with an Alice in Wonderland theme at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and I cannot express enough how thrilled I was with the catering service from Proof of the Pudding! Initially, I reached out to another recommended vendor but felt overlooked because of my smaller guest list of 25. However, once I connected with Brianna from Proof of the Pudding, everything changed. Brianna was incredibly responsive and genuinely excited about our event. She brought fantastic ideas and suggestions that perfectly complemented our Alice in Wonderland themed tea party. She worked seamlessly with my event stylist and the characters, ensuring the party felt like an immersive experience where teens could truly feel like they were having tea in Wonderland. The food was absolutely amazing and perfectly suited for the teen audience and tea party theme. They even made heart-shaped pepperoni for the pizza! The "Drink Me" potions and "Eat Me" cookies, along with tea sandwiches, treats and other refreshments, were not only delicious but also beautifully displayed to match the theme. The edible glitter in the drinking potion was a big hit! Brianna's dedication extended beyond the usual work hours; she even answered my texts late in the evening when I was stressed about details. Her attentiveness and enthusiasm made all the difference. This caterer worked seamlessly with all the vendors to create a magical event, and my Quinceañera was overjoyed and had a fantastic time! I highly recommend Proof of the Pudding for your special occasion. Their exceptional service and attention to detail made our day truly unforgettable.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. They worked with us to craft the perfect menu for our event, and the preparation, plating, service and wine pairing were top notch! Oh and everyone loved the custom welcome cocktail. We'd recommend Proof to anyone.
