"We like the way this New American gastropub thinks. And cooks. And mixes a drink. The menu is made for sharing and organized by bulk (big plates that feed a few folks), land, sea, soil, and sweets, making it easy to navigate between baked burrata and the ham tasting plate (though no easier to choose). The cocktails are categorized by proof: no (seasonal sodas), low (sherry and shrubs), and high (lots of gin, in the very best way). It’s all the better for knowing what kind of night you’re getting yourself into."

I visited P+P on a Thursday night, so there were plenty of people but it was not packed. The hostess was very kind and called to inform me, because of my late reservation, what time the kitchen closes so I could get there in time. I sat at the bar and the ambience was nice, though the music a little lackluster. Josh the bartender was attentive yet unobtrusive and made me an excellent Old Fashioned which, thankfully, was not half a fruit cocktail like a lot of places make. I ordered the burger which came with a mixed greens salad with a honey mustard vinaigrette and parmesan garlic fries. The salad was a little soft but everything was delicious. I'm definitely interested in trying this place again.

Proof + Pantry features some creative and we'll balanced cocktail options along with upscale new American cuisine. The mac n cheese was creamy and rich with a spicy kick, too good. The atmosphere is upscsle casual with attention to detail in the architecture and design. I will be back for sure to try out some small plates and another cocktail. Service was also friendly, which is something I value.

First the waitress was uninthusiastic and waited on the entire room before putting in our drink order. Went with a party of four. The whole table had to have the theatre menu not just those that chose to have it so none of us had it. Was told by the waitress the salad was a typical starter salad not sufficient as a meal. So I chose the garlic chicken. Those at our table ordered a starter salad with their meal and sure enough it was large enough for a meal. The garlic chicken was chicken legs I could have made better at home. Bad first experience and will not go back.

We went to Proof + Pantry on a Friday night for a celebratory dinner, and were very disappointed by the end of the night. Quality, gourmet food is certainly worth paying more for, even in small portions, but in our experience, the "Pantry" food was bad and extremely overpriced. We shared a Laarb appetizer ($12), and the lettuce leaves were too small to fit the filling. Additionally, I was distracted by an overwhelming bitter taste, which I accurately attributed to a green resembling frisee (not listed in the menu description, but most likely frisee). I ordered a Wagyu Burger (with fries and a small salad; $17), and when it came, the meat juice had soaked into the bottom bun, making it soggy. The taste was overly salty, so much that I could not enjoy the other flavors, and needed water after every bite to rinse my mouth of salt. My fiance ordered the Prawns with green papaya ($26), which were mediocre, and much too small of portion for an entree. Fortunately for him, I didn't want to eat half of my burger. We didn't get any "Proofs," but for reference, an Old Fashion costs $13. Based on our impressions of the food, we'd be better off somewhere else for drinks. The atmosphere was neat, and the music was good. We were one of three groups in the restaurant (at 9-10pm on Friday), so Proof + Pantry appeared to be over-staffed. Our server, Jeffrey, was polite and professional, but came across as overly enthusiastic and verbose. In sum, we would not recommend the food at Proof + Pantry because of poor taste and terrible value.

Well, I never have written one of these and as a man who has owned many restaurants, I try to stay away from this crap, but I had a serious issue here on Friday, 11/6/15. I had a date with a young lady for the Opera and wanted to try Proof and Pantry. We were late for our 6:00 pm reservation, but the waiter was more than helpful in getting our order out quickly and we made show time. First and foremost, I love courtyards so that talking can work well for us. We sat inside because we were unsure of the weather and were late. The ambiance is great inside especially, if you like to drink. My total problem was that I got cramps by the third act at the Opera. Never thought much about it, but on Saturday morning thru Sunday night I had vomitted about 8 times, could not keep anything down, went to the hospital on Monday. They put me on an IV until Tuesday, told me to go home, stay in bed, drink lots of fluids, eat lightly. My kidneys were shutting down. I know this could be stomach flu or food poisoning. I just know that my entree seemed undercooked, but I ate it in my haste which I will never do again. It was salmon, mashed potatoes, cauliflower. Probably quite tasty, but it will be along time before I eat salmon and cauliflower again. I am older, never get sick and eat sushi so that is why I am writing this review. Fresh chef creations can be quite dangerous if proper food handling techniques are not followed. Hope you check things out and you guys do well, but I am done here. Richard

Google
Trendy restaurant with friendly service. The whole chicken was good and needed 45 minutes to cook. We mentioned that we wanted the chicken in our reservation, but they did not have it prepared when we arrived so we had an extended wait while it was cooked.

Great, fun but romantic atmosphere. Our waiter was excellent and the food was incredible. Highly recommended for a nice date or celebrating an occasion. Also recommend the cheese platter to start.

Yelp
Love how convenient it is since they got a valet parking right in front. Doesn't cost anything but tips. The place is easy to find, it was right in front of the plaza. Servers are super friendly and nice. I got the west coast crepe and it was different, usually when I get a savory crepe, the crepe is also on the neutral side, this one it tastes like they used the crepe they use for sweet ones. It wasn't bad though, just got to get used to it. The mimosa was pretty small wish I got more but I've to drive back. The vibe is pretty casual. Overall I enjoyed the brunch selection!

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town and, after reading mixed reviews, were uncertain about whether to give this place a try. However, after looking over the menu, we liked what we saw and decided to stop by for breakfast one morning while in Dallas. We were seated quickly--about a five-minute wait--and greeted warmly. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered the oat milk horchata cold brew, West Coast crepes with cheesy grits, sausage links, and a slice of very berry French toast. When I first tasted the horchata cold brew, it was surprisingly different--it had a flavor that reminded me of Fireball, which was not what I expected. As much as I love horchata, I wasn't able to finish it. Then the food arrived. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. Despite not having to wait long for our food, everything was cold--not just lukewarm, but cold. I was hoping for a warm, cheesy bowl of grits, but instead, I got bland, cold grits. Both the grits and the crepes lacked flavor, and we had to add salt to try to improve them. However, due to the temperature, it was still unappetizing. The only item that had any flavor was the French toast slice. Sadly, based on our experience, I can't recommend this place.

Yelp
Sunday morning before heading back home and we stopped here (we don't have this place where I'm from). I was totally disappointed. I hate giving bad reviews and try to look for the positive but no I can't here. I get it was Sunday afternoon and crowded, but service was slow, there wasn't enough table settings when we were sat and had to ask another hostess for some and with 4 people at a table you would think more than 1 carafe of water would be on our table. I had the avocado toast which included cream cheese, smoked salmon fries capers onions and tomatoes. I also order a side of scrambled eggs that didn't come out with my meal. There was a scant amount of cream cheese on my toast and as I got to my third and last piece of toast I decided to just eat the toppings as a was not about to travel 4 hours with salmon toast lol. So as I was eating (and had already handed payment to our waitress) I noticed something moving on my plate...it was an ant. And not a regular size ant but a Texas size one. I wanted to throw up. There's no telling how many more might have been in my food or others for that reason. Poor quality control and expedition of service. I will never return The ambience of the restaurant was cute and in an artsy district... parking is terrible. But I guess that's a Dallas thing lol

Yelp
Extensive menu, quality food, good service, busy, happening place! My only disappointment was the outside games (ping pong, corn hole and connect four) were not in working order. Also wasn't sure where to park. Otherwise great place, recommend!

Yelp
Saw this place had great reviews on yelp and google but unfortunately, I have no idea what the hype is about. Service was good but food was underwhelming. The omelet was filling but nothing else to rave about. The pancakes were far from soft...more crunchy. I ate most of the potatoes that weren't fried extra hard. I did have a strawberry mimosa which was really good! Overall, I probably wouldn't return.

Yelp
Probably my favorite omelette place here in dallas! Everyone there, despite how chaotic it can be was welcoming and helpful. I want to go back!!

Yelp
Overall, I don't see myself visiting this restaurant anytime soon for the price paid. I do like that you can substitute for egg whites at no extra charge! (1 star for this) Smoked salmon scrambler - tasted "wet", like there was a lot of liquids from the dish (I'm assuming from cottage cheese?). Overall, this was the best item out of the foods we ordered. A decent amount of salmon (though I wished there was more Smokey flavor to it). Potatoes in this dish were good, flavorful and a bit crunchy as well. 5 egg omelet - good amount of filling inside esp with meats. I enjoyed the cheesy grits but my boyfriend did not like the taste at all so we switched sides. Towards the end, the grits didn't taste as well (assuming because it got cold). Pancakes - total disappointment... I wouldn't say I'm a professional chef but I feel like I make better pancakes at home they were dry and DENSE. We usually don't like to waste food (so we either finish it or take to go) but both of us disliked the pancakes so much that we just left it.

Yelp
Spending time with my daughter over a fantastic meal is a rare treat. The restaurant was packed, but we were seated right away by friendly staff. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter. The food was incredible, with the banana bread French toast and three-egg salmon omelet bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this delightful spot!

Yelp
We went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and luckily arrived before the big morning rush. The interior is clean and modern, reminds me of a California-type restaurant and then the wife told me that it is a chain. I thought it was an import from CA but my Yelp buddy Willis informed me that it began in Chicago. The menu is huge and it took awhile to digest it all. So many options and they all sounded great. I finally settled on the country skillet and it was a great choice. There are a lot of high quality ingredients, cooked properly, and seasoned well. I forgot to ask for the egg on the side but it was ok. The skillet as a whole was very flavorful. The wife had the Farm House which is basically biscuits and gravy with an egg on top and with a side of cheesy grits. She loved the biscuits. They were light and fluffy, not dense or doughy. She loved that dish. Cheesy grits were good but she could not eat them all because she was too full from her main course. The kid had French toast cinnamon sticks. They are cut into strips to make them easy to eat. The wife said they were very good because they were thin so they soaked up the egg flavor. The kid was agnostic about them which is par for the course. Our server, Norma, was friendly and helpful. Food came out in timely manner. Overall, this place is a home run. We will return the next time we stay at a downtown hotel.

Yelp
I stoped in here on the recommendation of my Lyft driver. I asked him what was a good place to get breakfast in the area. He recommended this place. I am glad he did I was just going to do Dennys. Don't get me wrong I like Dennys but when im traveling I definitely enjoy trying the local fare. I was not disappointed. My only complaint was parking cost almost $11 dollars and that was before I had even tried the food. So I was a little hesitant. But I decided to go ahead and give it a try anyway. I like the exterior it has almost a welcoming feel and it was located right across the street from a performing arts academy. When I walked in they were busy but were able to seat me immediately. Everyone was very nice and welcoming and I liked the interior decor. I sat at a booth which was comfortable and looked over the menu. It had a good variety of breakfast and brunch options. I went with the Chilaquiles and added chorizo for an extra dollar. Well worth it in my opinion. i have tried this dish from many places over several states. Let me say this was one of the best Chilaquiles I have had anywhere. They served it with a nice slice of avocado and some crème fresh on the side. It all went together perfectly. I was not feeling great because I have been traveling a lot the last few days so I was not sure if i would be able to finish the whole thing. Once I started eating it was hard to stop because it was so good. The wait staff was also very good. They were on it as far as refilling my drink before i even finished the first one and even saw that I had run out of Crème fresh and without even asking brought me another side to finish my meal with. They have a very nice assortment of drinks from coffees to alcohol and juices and many other choices for breakfast. Makes me wish I lived in town so I could keep going back. As someone who was visiting from out of town it was a really nice experience and the food was excellent. The prices were also very reasonable especially for the quantity and quality of the food and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place. The only thing that was kind of a turn off was the parking situation but it is what it is. Even with that I would still recommend. I will definetly be going back to try some other dishes. Until then Aloha.

Yelp
Just moved to the area and wanted to get breakfast. The wait staff was amazing. Very attentive. They serve water with ice and a pitcher. Which is great because we drink a lot of water. The house coffee is delicious. The iced horchata is so yummy. My husband ordered a burrito which comes with potatoes and I ordered the chilaquiles. They were sooo delicious full of flavor. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great food and a good price. We loved the service and atmosphere. Surprised the glass of OJ was so darn small...def not Texas style and felt a little cheap. Establishment was clean and over all we enjoyed breakfast.

Yelp
I got the chili scrambler with pancakes and the turtle latte. The chili was very good. Nice flavor but not at all spicy. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the potatoes were very tasty. Great seasoning. My girlfriend got the breakfast Mac and Cheese. It was incredible!

Yelp
The previous breakfast place we were going to had to close down for a bit and their hostess has recommended us here. We went on like a Sunday at noon, and we were met with a very long line. It took about 30 minutes to get seated inside on a Sunday for 2 people. So make sure you plan accordingly. The restaurant was fairly busy and they had a good selection of food. I had a "make-it-your-own" omelet while my friend had egg Benedict with smoked salmon. The egg Benedict was really good and I enjoyed my omelet and my side of pancakes too. The service took a long time to get to us (it was fairly busy) was the really only negative. Looking forward to coming again!

Yelp
Granted it is spring break but they were packed for a Thursday. There are a ton of items to choose from. I did regular French toast with blueberries and added the 100% maple syrup which was really worth it. Tried the regular syrup when I was done and it just was not as good. Daughter had the cinnamon roll French toast and it was good but she said it was just too sweet and couldn't finish much of it. Hubby got chillequilles and it was great. The sauce was delish!!! Only complaint, the coffee was NOT good. Couldn't finish my one cup and I sure needed it.

Yelp
Interesting take of breakfast food and great selection of pancakes. I had the Breakfast Mac and Cheese. Very rich but good. The waitress was super sweet and they compt me a birthday strawberry banana crepe! Very lively and bright. Definitely would come back here again!

Yelp
Let me just start by saying I'm literally STILL sitting in the restaurant as I'm making this review. THATS how good this food is! Service is excellent. We waited about 3-5 min for a table on a Sunday morning. The mimosas are soooooo fresh and tasty! 10/10
google avatar

Charity C.

Yelp
2018: Great food, the service wasn't all that but the Country Skillet made up for it. Update: 12/24/20 The Avocado toast was really good and the service was much better this time! Update: 07/02/23 The French Toast Latte is delicious! The Countryside Skillet and Santa Fe Fritata are both solid picks! Full of flavor and great portions. The pancakes were straight, not amazing, not bad either, great portion. Overall, I'd still recommend this place.
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
Meh...it was okay. I was expecting more. The wait was only 25 minutes at noon on a Sunday with a big event in town, so that was great. The people who greeted us could have cared less, so service wasn't stellar, but our waitress was quick, attentive and she made up for the lackluster service outside. We sat outside on the patio and it was nice since inside was crazy and loud. So if it's a nice day out, the patio is where to be. The food was okay. Not as good as Snooze or other brunch places I have been, but the strawberry mimosas were good and the Bloody Mary was good. I ordered the chicken or the egg sandwich, but got something else, that had no chicken. so, 3 out of 5 for me....

Yelp
I was downtown when I saw this cute establishment, and I decided to eat breakfast here. ( my 1st here) I was welcomed when I walked in, and the young lady assisted me with information on the place, and I was quickly seated (table for 1). I ordered my food which came out quickly. I ordered 2 Pancakes with sausage, and orange juice. The pancakes are big just a little to thick for my liking, sausage was cooked perfectly, and orange juice was fresh. Great customer service my waitress was named Anahi she was very polite, and the outdoor portion do have game to play which are very family friendly. *FYI: I sent the pancakes back that's why they are not on the receipt*

Yelp
What an adorable breakfast place! We stayed in Dallas at the Sheraton for the weekend for an awards banquet and a few of the wives wanted to get together for mimosas Saturday morning. This place was in a cute little business plaza. There was a parking garage (be sure to get your parking validated by the hostess at Yolk) with plenty of spaces. We got there relatively early, so seating wasn't a problem but it did get packed pretty quickly. We shared a refreshing carafe of strawberry mimosas. My favorite thing about the menu was that you could order a single specialty pancake other crepe. Because the toppings make the pancakes so filling, it was a perfect portion. It also allowed us to save room so were could finish the mimosa!!!
google avatar

Madeline K.

Yelp
A few weeks ago, I visited Yolk in Dallas for a friend's wedding, and I needed to find a go-to breakfast spot during my stay. I'm so glad I found Yolk! The food was incredible, and the bacon was honestly some of the best I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked - it was the highlight of my mornings. Highly recommend this place if you're in Dallas and craving a delicious breakfast!

Yelp
Saturday morning breakfast. Fun vibe. I scored a great (and free) parking spot down the street. Seated immediately with good service. My chocolate peanut butter cup latte with smooth and decadent. My half order of red velvet French toast gave me a sugar high that lasted all day.
google avatar

Jenae B.

Yelp
Ok so let's start with my egg. They got it right and that hardly ever happens. I had the corn beef hash. It was good, I got it without the peppers and onions which is probably why it was a little bland on flavor, but still good. The potatoes could have used more seasoning but they were ok with salt. The pancakes were delicious but the cheese cake flavor didn't seem to have any cheese cake. My Caramel macchiato was not strong even with an extra shot but it was still good. Overall this was a good breakfast spot.
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Food is really good here. Be careful on the upgrades or add ons though that's where they price gauge. Our waiter checked on us quite a bit so we got everything we needed as far as re-fills. Friendly staff even though it's very chaotic from being so busy here. Parking is validated and easy to get in and out as well

Yelp
There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the restaurant that is located in an office bldg plaza. I wanted some really good pancakes and recalled a good breakfast experience at the downtown Ft Worth location some yrs back. I had the protein & eggs for $14 and chose scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese grits, and pancakes. This is a huge breakfast that won't disappoint if you're famished. Well the pancakes were doughy and heavy, no crisp edges. They had a weird artificial flavor. The bacon was generously portioned (3 pieces) and was smokey and not salty at all. The eggs were done nicely, softly scrambled. The grits were very creamy and smooth, w/cheese-not super cheesy at all. My server was kind and accommodating when I sent the cold cakes back for hot ones. The manager came over, disagreeing with me and put his entire hand between the pancakes to prove to me they were not cold. I'm still trying to pick my lip up from the floor. He brought me fresh ones and was clearly not happy with me. Aside from the pancakes, being cold, I also dined with a fly who invited himself to a seat on the rim of my glass and partook of my water. I swatted flies the entire time.

Yelp
Good service here. This is my first visit to this location. Really good French toast and Strawberry lemonade! Fresh eggs and made with cheese cooked right to my perfection! Definitely a place for a good fresh breakfast and I will be stopping bye again Until next review Kisses

Yelp
Great breakfast that is hot and quick. I love the corned beef hash and mini waffles. Service is always quick no matter how busy. My favorite place for breakfast hands down.

Yelp
Food Service Amazing work and ethic here. Definitely would come back after Church services!

Yelp
Let me just start by saying i ordered via door dash. I know that the food is always better in person, however i was still really disappointed with the food we received. I ordered lemon blueberry cakes - the picture showed 2, and 1 was received. Also- when doing takeout with sauces, they should always come on the side. Ill upload a picture of what was ordered vs received... i also ordered a side of sausage links which was fine and then i ordered the south of the border benny. The photo on this showed that it came with avocado although it wasnt mentioned in the description. The photo showed the potatoes side and i ordered the cheesy grits so im not sure if thats why i didnt get the avocado...but very highly disappointing. The hollandais sauce, though cold and hardened up, was one of the better ones i have had. It wasnt split and the color was right. I wish it was a bit more lemony, but at least it was a decent sauce. They could have given a bit more than the small container it came with. Also- im pretty sure the chorizo made me sick. Not sure if its their fault or just my body rejecting it. The little bottles of syrup that came with the pancakes were cute although not sure we received the cute yolk branded bottles plus crappy waffle house syrup. Overall, the takeout experience wasnt anywhere good enough to make me want to go in person. Im super sad about the $41 i spent on the food. Yes- thats just the food, not delivery fees or tip. Also i did fill out the door dash form about my food and am hoping for a partial refund- esp since the order of 2 pancakes was $18 and i only received half of the order...

Yelp
Food was ok, ambiance had an outdated feel, service was crap, server never returned to check in on our table, probably won't return.

Yelp
My daughter and I came here on a Tuesday morning. I did enjoy the $1 drip coffee that they offer on Tuesdays; the refills for it was no charge. My daughter did get a $3 glass of apple juice, but the size wasn't very big, which is why they offer different sizes at different prices. My daughter thought The food was just ok. We've had better breakfast. I had the el torero and it was good, the portion was just right. The pancakes were not that great. The vibe was cool, nice amount of people there but not a long wait time(5min) our waitress was very polite and attentive. Not sure if I would go back but I can't say I totally hated it. It's definitely a place you need to try out and have your own experience. They have a lot of good choices so it may be worth going back to try something else.

Yelp
This was the breakfast establishment chosen for a family reunion I had recently. Let me first off start by saying the service here is absolutely stellar. We had a very large party and they accommodated us beautifully and with amazing timing. The ambience is open with Apple seating and cute decor and an industrial look. Hundred percent on the other hand the food while it isn't horrible is also just not anything to write home about. Simple breakfast fair with simple execution nothing that really makes it memorable. I also had a latte that was served in a cute mason glass jar and looked really good, but was again simple and disenchanting. Perhaps a little more flavor or revision of the menu by the company owners will make for a much better experience.

Yelp
Disappointed in the Dallas Yolk location after having a more pleasant experience at the Chicago Yolk. Wait to get a table and for food to arrive was very long. I tried the blueberry latte out of curiosity. The flavor wasn't bad, but the whipped cream they used (which doesn't seem to be made in-house as it looked like they were using aerosol whipped cream) separated in the coffee, making the texture rather unpleasant. The whipped cream wasn't very sweet to begin with. As for the mimosas, nothing to complain about The countryside skillet was pretty delicious, although it was a bit too salty. Unfortunately, considering the wait time, I wouldn't come back here again.

Tobias W.

Yelp
Food is fine, but the service is not great. We waited for a table and almost lost it because the other half of my party was in the bathroom. "There was nothing they could do". Never have seen someone get rushed to go to the bathroom. Not great customer service at the table either

Yelp
Food and service are great. However, a hot coffee is alright, not that great. I would definitely go to the restaurant again in one day.

Yelp
What a menu of choices. Beverages from coffee to tea to fountain to juice to milk. I chose a blueberry muffin latte. Wow. To eat many many varieties of eggs with... lots of French toast...too much to write here. I ordered the croque madame. It was excellent. Located in the arts district. Cool

Josh R.

Yelp
Been to this place before and was impressed. This time the food sucked the coffee sucked the service sucked. The bread was bad the coffee was bad. The eggs were clearly not regular eggs. Will never be back - to respond, we left as soon as we could instead of talking to a manager at my wife's request. No server or manager came by at any time after we were served to offer any service or we would have told them that everything was beyond dissatisfactory.

Yelp
We visited Dallas and were looking for a brunch place and found yolk. I had the smoked salmon scramble which was delicious ! The potatoes it came with were also well seasoned and the pancakes were good. Great service and lots of seating which was nice.

Jaileen M.

Yelp
After seeing all the reviews it seem like a good spot to have brunch at. I will say the service was great, serve was very attentive & fast service loved that . But I would definitely not come back anytime soon, too expensive and the food was not good. Im sorry but it's a no for me I will just stick to my hole in the wall breakfast spots.

Yelp
I was able to get on the waitlist easily. This was a last minute decision while I was waiting on my daughter. I was seated quicker than the estimated time. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the red velvet waffle with some grits. Odd combination but it was what I wanted. Well, I am so glad I ordered the grits. They were so delicious! I am also happy with the red velvet waffle. I wish I lived closer so I could try more menu options.

Yelp
I ordered the avocado toast. I just wasn't impressed with it. It was avocado spread on toast with small chopped tomatoes and onions on top. It was okay but by far not my favorite and I had been craving for it. Highly disappointed. No place Yolk back home in Chicago.

Yelp
Come hungry! With big portions full of flavor, Yolk is the perfect brunch spot. The restaurant is full of life and the servers are always happy and helpful!

Yelp
Food is always good portions and taste delicious. They validate parking at this location. There are no reservations or waitlist, so you will need to come in person to get on the waitlist. For 2 people is wasn't that long. I would say during the peak hours it will take longer to get food. You will beat the crowd if you come after 1:30pm

Yelp
First we waited a long time to be served. Once we got our drinks and the order was placed we didn't see our waiter until we flagged him down. Our food was sitting under the light for at least 20 minutes. I had a burger with cold fries. My daughter had a patty melt with hair in her food. My Sister had a pecan French toast with the pecans on the side. Then we sent it back and the waiter mad. Not impressive. The manager was nice and understanding and that's the positive.

Yelp
Adorable spot! Came here on a Sunday at 11 am so we expected it to be busy. I was watching the remote wait list on Yelp which kept saying zero wait and then around 10:30 am the waitlist closed down. So I called the restaurant and they said they no longer do the waitlist. But then when we checked in the people in front of us said their name was on the Yelp waitlist so that was inconsistent with what we were told. I would've made a fuss but the wait was quoted as 20 minutes and we were called for our table maybe 5 minutes later. My husband and I ordered a mimosa and a cappuccino and our daughters got the orange strawberry juice. I ordered the avocado toast, the girls ordered the "big kid breakfast" which had sausage, grapes and pancakes. I also ordered one single Nutty Monkey Pancake. I was so bummed they didn't have the Red Velvet French Toast, I really wanted that one! The avocado toast was slightly under seasoned but overall good. I do wish the smoked salmon was laid on top of it as slices as opposed to being chopped up as a topping. And the cream cheese was a bit heavy handed. The Nutty Pancake was okay but was a bit dry, I only had a couple bites. The girls enjoyed their breakfast. Overall a good spot and we'd come back!
