Horrible Service, but great food!...
Dined at the Bar for dinner, just the two of us. Arrived at 5:35, at sat at the bar that had only 3 other people seated. It took at least 25 min for one of two bartenders, one male and one female, to acknowledge us. It was 6:05pm by the time we got our first round of drinks. By the time we got our drinks, we were ready to order our food, but bartender walked away. Took a while for the bartender to acknowledge us again and I had to ask the bartender to place our food order. We did not eat until 6:25pm.
Meanwhile, as we waited for our food, we observed the female bartender refill the maraschino, cherries, fruit tray, and eat them in front of us, thinking that we couldn't see her. After eating and refilling the cherries, she did not properly wash her hands. Instead, she dipped her hands in the sanitizer bucket. Unacceptable and unsanitary!
Although the food was delicious, we reported the bad service to the manager. The manager was very unprofessional about the situation and questioned our experience. She assumed that we sat ourselves, when the hostess was the one who kindly walked us to the bar. If the manager on duty is an owner, she obviously has no leadership skills or hospitality experience.
It's unfortunate that the front office house team is lacking service standards, when the culinary team is offering such great food.
