Prospect Cut and Shave

I’ve been going to Eddie for three years ever since I moved to NYC, and he’s hands down the best barber I’ve had across the different boroughs. He’s attentive, flexible with scheduling, reasonably priced, and always delivers a great cut. Beyond that, he’s just a genuinely good guy who makes every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend! Y habla espanol which is always a plus.

I’ve been working with Eddie for years, always the perfect cut. Listens to all of my needs, even my constantly changing style interests mid-cut. The most friendly and skilled barber in the area. Shop very clean/accessible.

What a wonderful place with wonderful barbers! I have always been aiming for a mullet but have struggled to achieve one that matches my hair texture/style. I booked an appointment with Irina, showed her a few inspiration pictures, and she helped me find the things I like about each one, and she got right into it. I got a rinse/shampoo, haircut, and then she blow-dried+styled my hair all within 30 min. Super pleased with the results, it is the first time in a long time that I am excited about my hair. I will definitely be coming back, Irina is the best!

Irina is awesome. I have longer hair and I always get a bit nervous getting a cut because I always assume the barber has less experience with longer male hairstyles. Irina is a true master and at the end I was so happy I said "damn this is great" and she responded "I know." Highly recommend!!

What a great place! Henry and Irina have created the upscale, old-time barbershop atmosphere I love when it's time to get my hair cut--Wood mirrors, cool lighting, great music, and on top of the great vibe, Henry and Irina are the best barbers in Brooklyn. I can honestly say I've never had a barbershop experience that I would rate higher or enjoyed more than the ones I've had at Prospect. You won't be disappointed!

Love this place and especially Irina’s haircuts! She is a very talented barber and does the best job of anybody I’ve found in Brooklyn so far with my hair. My partner is always very impressed with Irina’s work! Highly recommend her to anybody!

My wife told me to go to this place because everyone she saw coming out looked great. So I tried it and she was right! Irina is a great stylist and I not only feel like a look stylish when I leave, but I feel twenty years younger as well!

Somehow nobody has reviewed Prospect Cut and Shave yet- and it's a shame. Henry is an incredibly deft and sincerely kind barber. If you're hesitating, you should just make an appointment
