Best Restaurants For Group Dining in Jacksonville, Florida | Eater Miami

"Prospect Five Points is located in the restaurant’s namesake neighborhood of Five Points. The wine bar and restaurant are an excellent spot for friends to meet up and enjoy a glass of wine or craft cocktails, along with a wide range of sharable snacks. With classic dishes like an ahi tuna and avocado stack and truffle fries, with more creative dishes like elote shrimp tacos and short rib sliders, everyone in the group will find something to enjoy on the menu. While it is relatively small on the inside, the restaurant has fairly large patio space that can be used almost all year long, thanks to Florida’s warmer winters."

We were seated right away. Simone was very attentive and quickly brought us menus and waters. We tried a couple caramel apple old fashions which were thankfully not overly sweet. We started with some short ribs sliders and pistachio crusted goat cheese balls followed by the NY strip and truffle gnocchi with chicken. Everything was fresh and well seasoned and the portion sizes were generous. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Google
The food wasn’t bad at all, but it wasn’t earth shattering either. The server was great though! And I was warm and wanted a fan, but they did have the door open so it was probably that.

Google
Prospect Five Points, where have you been all my life?! I'm 50, and for the first time ever, a server asked me how I wanted my salmon cooked - rare, medium rare, or medium! Salmon, not a steak! I mean, what sorcery is this?! I've been suffering through dry, overcooked salmon for decades, and then you come along and blow my mind! And let me tell you, that rare salmon was perfection incarnate - juicy, tender, and absolutely divine. But wait, there's more! And don't even get me started on the salad - a symphony of flavors, with arugula dancing in a delightful vinaigrette and pickled onions that defied recognition (in the best way possible). The homemade key lime pie deserves its own novel - the balance of lemon and sugar is pure magic. Not too sweet, not too sour, just... just... _chef's kiss_. I'm struggling to finish this review because I just want to go back and eat everything again. Five stars, ten stars, a million stars - Prospect Five Points, you've ruined me for all other restaurants!

Google
*chefs kiss* Wow. We’ve been here maybe 5 times and EVERY SINGLE time has been INCREDIBLE. We were there today roughly around 2pm and again it didn’t disappoint! We had the Crispy Brussels and Buffalo chicken flatbread as an appetizer. I had the Chicken Gnocchi (minus mushrooms) and my husband had a bacon cheese burger and WOW! I am already craving our next trip back. We also ordered the truffle fries for the table which was delish! My 9month old loved the fries and my chicken and gnocchi dish. Our toddler had the chicken tender sliders (plain) and just overall a wonderful experience. The hostess, server, bartender and Chef who worked today were phenomenal.

Google
We visited Prospect for the first time tonight on our date night. We had a few shareables, short rib sliders, goat cheese balls, propspect salad, Caesar salad, wine and the chefs special dessert, crème brûlée. We loved the eclectic menu! Everything was delish. Our server Colette was super! We’ll be back.

Google
Local to us so I want to make sure we tried it. We sat in the front dining room. It's pretty loud there and that's really the only negative about our experience. The food is good. So good that some of the things we wanted to try they were out of 😂 For appetizers we had the Korean BBQ Sliders and the Pistachio Crusted Goat Cheese ball (SO GOOD) For my main I had the Chicken Truffle Gnocchi that was delicious. My date had the Sausage and pepper rigatoni, which I sampled and it was delicious too. We were hoping to get the Pumpkin Mousse Cheesecake but they were out so we had the dessert of the week which was a nice Carrot Cake.

Google
Prospect Five Points is well known for their flatbread, so I decided to go have a try. The staff were very welcoming, and the place was humming. I sat at the bar and ordered a flatbread and a wine flight. The flatbread was decent, but I have to admit, not the best I have ever had. The wine flight was reasonable for the price, but I would have paid more for a better quality offering. Overall, this is a popular place, and worth checking out, but it doesn’t quite get to five stars for me.

Google
Took the fam out for brunch. The outside tables were comfortable and shaded. The food was prompt and tasty. Drinks were excellent and the service was top notch. Will return. Highly recommend.

Yelp
First off, I'll disclose I did not manage to get a picture of the menu. The menu is currently different than what's currently posted to yelp. As we were handed a menu that shown brunch specials but we arrived 10 minutes after the brunch cut off. The other side did show current options. Next this place is dog friendly on the patio and that was a welcomed surprise! They even brought some dog treats over for my dog. Our waiter was pleasant and informative for our first time. Only thing I'd say is when I ordered the chicken sandwich it was pictured with a fried chicken patty. My menu didn't describe if the sandwich I was order was fried or grilled. But once it arrived it was grilled and thankfully was still very good. Fries were perfectly crispy and not cold. And the shrimp tacos I'd consider were just normal, nothing special about them. But The drink was great and I had no complaints about it. Overall a great place for a Sunday meal if you have your pet with you. As the place was clean and had covered seating while outdoors. Just be ready to ask questions about the menu so you are confident what you're ordering.

Yelp
Still the best happy hour, especially because it's available on Saturday! As much as we love to dine outside, the cool interior was call g us today. Arrived right as happy hour began and we were surprised by how few people were here. Service is always attentive and wonderful. Our waters were always refilled and leaving the water pitcher for us was perfect. I also enjoyed two glasses of the $4 happy hour house merlot. We started with the delicious crispy brussels. The flatbreads are yummy and happy hour prices make them even better. The Margaret St. and Duval were our choices to share today. This is one of our favorite local places, always.

Yelp
It had been way too long since we visited Prospect. I consider them to be the best Happy Hour location in the Riverside/Avondale/Downtown area. Great beer, wine and drink selections for great prices, amazing food and their flatbreads are discounted from 3-6PM. Prospect has recently come under new management. They remain the same stellar business they always have been. Elevated service and atmosphere along with some of the best food and drink around. The Goat Cheese Balls and Crispy Brussels need to be ordered every time you go. Fantastic appetizers. The flatbreads are genius and incorporate flavors like fig and picked onions into a delicious crust. I've never had anything disappoint me here. I do claim it's the best happy hour in the area, but if you go for brunch or dinner, they nail that too. Pet friendly, outdoor seating is always a plus for us as well. Just a great local treasure!!!

Yelp
When you walk in you might be confused where to go but I was told I could sit anywhere. I opted for the front bar dining room. It was a sat night and not super busy inside. More People oustide. They have 2 bars and seemed like most people were working in both areas. I started out order a sparkling flight. Had a cava a Prosecco and a rose. It took more than 15 min for my drinks to be brought to me which I thought was strange. The server did check back in multiple times and tell me it was coming but for something they didn't have to make it seemed like a long time. We stayed with goat cheese balls and short rib sliders. While ordered for the same course they came out at different times. We finish the goat cheese and then the sliders came. Both hot and tasty the cheese balls had hi ey and pistachios on them and we yummy. The sliders had great buns and the creme of Brie was delish. For dinner we ordered the burger and fries and the chicken lollipops with lemon pepper. The fries were a standout crispy hot and well seasoned. Salty in the best way. The chicken came out and I was surprised they were a large lollipop not a wing and very substantial. The Lemon Pepper sauce was wet and had heat but it as tangy also. My bf didn't finish his burger as he said it was ill but just kinda regular. Chicken was standout and we shared it. I didn't see dessert menu but we were full. For these items we were there almost 2 hours. Start to finish. Food was good and hot but timing seemed off. I can appreciate that all seemed fresh. !!

Yelp
Kay greeted us right when we walked in! Although they were close to closing time, Austin was still very happy to take care of us! He was very patient and helped accommodate Gluten Free Options. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and Chef was happy to modify his dishes to tend to our specific needs. They really went above and beyond. Austin and Bee made some Amazing recommendations around the town and Kay has the local scoop as well! Food was great and reasonable pricing too! Would definitely recommend :) bonus, they are lgbtq+ friendly!!

Yelp
We stopped in for happy hour with a reservation and were seated promptly. The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed a glass of wine and an old fashioned with our appetizers. The sliders and the flatbreads were large enough for a light meal. We both enjoyed our food and look forward to visiting again soon.

Yelp
Came here for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a lovely experience. The server was super sweet and gave us a pecan pie on the house (with a bday candle). We shared the whipped jalapeño honey ricotta which was pretty tasty but needed some more jalapeños. We do love a good kick! I had the hot chicken sliders as my entree and it was made just right. Especially loved the cucumbers; it provided a nice crunch. The dining area had good lighting and was intimate and really great for chats.

Yelp
WONDERFUL!! Absolutely one of thee most memorable times shared with my hubby and our daughter at this quaint, friendly restaurant in the Riverside area. Father's Day will be Forever remembered for our invite to where our daughter works-and served her father and I lunch...on her! :0) Thanks BB for treating us to a Delicious: Ahi Stack (a Scrumptious Sesame seasoned) large portion of Ahi, stacked over Avocado with Fried Won Ton Chips, to scoop up the delectable creation prepared by the cook! Her dad dined on mini-Chicken Tacos smothered in a mouth tingling, spicy Aioli that was an inventive spin on the traditional Taco. The Dessert, their Carmel Sea Salt Cheesecake was a perfect treat for our tongues to enjoy the creamy, sweet & salty wrap up to a Perfect meal! The Smiling, genuinely concerned staff, gave us a delightful experience at their establishment and it was nothing short of Attentive & FABULOUS!! If you're looking for a new place to please your palate, Prospect Five Points is it! Bon Appetit!

Yelp
Still my favorite restaurant in Five Points Riverside area. Yes, even better than Orsay. Consistently good food and service. They have a great Happy Hour and rotating weekly specials so follow their Instagram. But remember they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Yelp
I've been here twice, I have enjoyed the appetizers I've ordered but I don't usually find it to be as welcoming or have as great of service as some other places. I go more for location and they have a nice patio area.
google avatar

Tatty C.

Yelp
Short ribs ragu...the dish wasn't that great because the chef used buctatini pasta instead of flat wide noodles, which would have been better with the sauce. The drink was great and Brussels were good. Service was good but that entrée really disappointed me. The sauce wasn't as seasoned and developed as I'm used to. Also, I was really hoping for handmade cut noodles.

Yelp
Great friendly, prompt service. Our server Collette was a fantastic, friendly and efficient server. I give her a 10 out of ten. My daughter and I were looking for a new lunch adventure and decided on Prospect after reading several reviews. As it was a beautiful day outside we opted to sit on the outdoor patio. We enjoyed the shaded trees and coziness of the patio. We ordered two shareable, the chicken lollipops and the truffle fries. The chicken was done right; very flavorful and juicy. It was cover in a mustard sauce which provided some tang. The truffle fries were crispy and delicious. We also ordered the Sydney flatbread to share. The crispy bacon and the spicy sausage made the flatbread a hit. I would recommend Prospect for its great service and delicious food.

Yelp
It's been 2 weeks and we had been to Prospect Five Points twice so clearly we like it here. We can on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon and had no problem getting a table. They also offer Happy Hour every day of the week from 3pm-6pm and it's a good one, with both food and drinks. They have a large cocktail menu as well as a number of Brunch drinks. Our first time I went with the Apple of My Eye which is bourbon based and pretty good. I also tried the Happy Hour Margarita which as $8 and also tasty. They have great prices on beer too and a lot of options on draft. For beer I did the Bells 2 Hearted Ale which was $6 but on happy hour it's $2 off for great price. Prospect Five Points is for sure a place to come by for drinks since they pretty much have whatever you are looking for. During our first time we of course had to order an appetizer. The problem is they all sounded amazing so we had a real hard time picking out just one but we ended up doing the Hot Honey Chicken Sliders. It's just too hard for us to say no to something with Hot Honey. The sliders were great, chicken was crispy, and the Pineapple Slaw really pulled it all together. For entrees I went with the White Truffle Gnocchi with Grilled Chicken and Ashley had the Massaman Curry Short Rib. These were the 2 that sounded best to us and of course we were going to share them. The Truffle Gnocchi was great and I really enjoyed the richness from the Truffle. Really made for a heavy dish but so delicious. You can rarely go wrong with a Gnocchi dish. The Massaman Curry Short Rib was also great and was a completed different take on what I expected. The curry and Short Ribs are served over Rigatoni which sounds crazy but really works. Masaman Curry and Short Ribs are my go to so you put them together and you're getting something great. The only thing this dish could use is my option is more Massaman Curry but again that just cause a love it. Prospect Five Points will for sure be a place we continue to come to and next time we will be trying more the the appetizers.

Yelp
We love this place. They need to review this policy of charging 5$ for more chips I ordered dish and had more food then chips and asked for a handful more to finish dish and was old it would be 5$ for more chips. I passed . I paid 16$ for dish a couple of chips more .. not a basket of them ..

Yelp
Nice place to have dinner. The service was great. It was a nice warm day out so we decided to sit outside. The sun began to fall and the buggies started coming out so we moved inside and it was just as nice!! A nice glass of bubbly with some shared food with family. The steak was tender and juicy. Fries where crispy. Brussel sprouts were flavorful. The Brushetta board was definitely a hit. I hope these pictures make your mouth water because remembering makes mine!

Yelp
Beautiful experience sitting outside. Friendly service with high quality cocktails and food.

Ashlee H.

Yelp
Best place for happy hour. I love that they have rotating food menus. Outside seating is great too

Margaret T.

Yelp
Prospect Five Points has a new owner and I think the quality of service and food has declined. We have been fairly regular customers and didn't recognize any of the wait staff. The familiar double sided printed menu has been replaced with a large format plastic version (think Waffle House). The pictures are poor quality and there are misspellings throughout. While the food offerings remain the same, the quality is off. Our appetizer, the whipped ricotta with jalapeno and honey was so-so and the bread was barely grilled. The beef short rib sliders (a family favorite) were dry and tasteless. At least one of the flatbreads we ordered was missing an ingredient (leeks). The Hot Honey Pepperoni flatbread was quite good. You can't beat the ambience though both indoors and outside.

Yelp
Really quaint and yummy spot for a hangout with friends or a date! Stopped in a bit earlier than our reservation time on a Friday to have a drink at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and recommended lots of great things on the menu. Their house Pinot Grigio was really good too! While the restaurant was a lot smaller than I thought, it made it feel very intimate. For dinner, we started with the Truffle Frites ($10) - super truffley and a great recommendation by the bartender. Someone I was with had the Seasonal Burger, which was short rib and brisket with mac and cheese, picked onions, and BBQ sauce - really good! Someone else had the Sydney Flatbread ($14) and loved it. We also had the Beef Short Rib Sliders ($15) recommended by the bartender and they were great, the fig jam wasn't too sweet. Lastly, I took the bartender's final recommendation of the White Truffle Gnocchi with Grilled Chicken ($25) and LOVED it. A little salty but the gnocchi was so light and fluffy, and the sauce was heavenly. I want to go back and get it again!! Would definitely go back to Prospect Five Points and recommend it to others! They had a cute inside and outside area for any occasion!

Yelp
First time at Prospect Five Points. Stopped in for a glass of wine and some small plates. HH ends at 6 pm. Wife and I shared the short rib sliders and rosemary frites. Both were very good. We split a prospect salad which was very good. Server was Colette; she did a great job. Noticed on the bill that if you pay with cash you get a 4% discount. All in all, a good decision to stop in at Prospect. We'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I come here a lot. It's a great place to sit outside at one of the picnic tables, order a glass of wine and get a bite to eat. I personally LOVE the guac and tuna tar-tar selection. For many, (like my mom) it's too salty but I like salt. :) Otherwise, my friends and I split a flat bread or bruschetta board. Other great options are the hot and sweet chicken sandwiches, brussel sprouts, and rosemary fries. Seating options include the outdoor picnic tables, outdoor covered small tables and bar area or indoor tables and bar. I think the servers, staff, and management are top notch. Prospect has good happy hours and specials and is located in a cool, local neighborhood with visitors from adjacent parts of Jax stopping in. The only thing that bugs me at times, is when outdoor tables are reserved but the people show up late or not at all. Its not fun for 4 people being squeezed into a small two top table and seeing other tables being reserved and vacant throughout our dining experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Was able to get a party of 15 seated inside pretty last minute the week before Christmas. The inside was decorated with cute Christmas lights and decor. The pistachio goat cheese balls were seriously delicious, these were hard to share because they were good. The Brussels are always good as well, not crunchy not soft, just right. The Duval flatbread also hits the mark if you love mushrooms like I do. They fall VERY flat on the white truffle gnocchi with grilled chicken, topped with Parmesan, somehow with all that it still has no flavor. No truffle taste, no mushroom flavor, it also came out cold. Specialty drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive. Overall, I think it's a little pricey for what comes out on their full entrees and only go if I have to. Would go back for the location and for a few apps but not for a full dinner.
google avatar

Jess A.

Yelp
The food is always amazing here, never had something I didn't like. The staff is probably the best I've had in Jacksonville for sure! Very cute and quiet place. Sunday brunch is the best and their happy hour is killer. The owners make this place feel like you're family. The drinks put everyone in jax to shame. They put the greatest cocktails together. Sydney the bartender is our fav! If you haven't been, you're definitely missing out!!!!
google avatar

Julia H.

Yelp
Came for brunch and all of the food was really good, but the short rib hash was a table favorite. The goat cheese salmon bagel was divine as well. I had the chicken and waffles and they were super yum. The chicken meat to breading ratio was perfection. The mimosa flight was only $12! I took a star off because it smelled like a bathroom inside and we were waiting on the food forever. other than that everything was great. we would definitely come back on a day with lots of time.
google avatar

Leon B.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. Crispy Brussels was perfect. The seating is a little too close for a more intimate date. The hostess and waitress did a great job. I would recommend!
google avatar

Sasha P.

Yelp
I came for happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed the specials! The $4 wine was perfectly acceptable and the flatbread was such a nice treat. We ended up extending our happy hour date into a dinner! It was not a disappointing evening, to say the least. I had the burger that was on special and it was really good! The aioli made it *chef's kiss* My husband had the chicken gnocchi and that was realllly good. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture and flavors! We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and nice weather - it was beautiful with the little patio cover and fans. Our bartender/server was attentive but not overwhelming in any way. It was a good experience!

Yelp
Happened upon Prospect last Sat night when my friend was desperate for a bite to eat & some refreshing a/c. Luckily Prospect had a table available and we were seated inside immediately. Instantly the level of professional service was apparent and deeply appreciated in contrast to the rowdy crowd elsewhere in 5 points. Our server explained the tapas concept and highlighted their signature items. I wish I was more hungry when I visited, because I only ordered a caesar salad. But honestly it was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. Also liked my strawberry bliss cocktail, and really loved the Tampa beer "you're my boy blue"- a very flavorful fruity blueberry beer. Waitress was attentive yet we never felt rushed and my friend and I enjoyed a lovely chat over tapas and drinks. I 100% will be back when I'm in riverside again!

Yelp
1st time here at Prospect Five Points after an awesome evening exploring Riverside. For starters we shared the Crispy Brussels with Applewood Smoked Bacon served in 3's Yummy! Ordered the Sydney Flatbread which includes Salami, Pepperoni, Bacon,Mushrooms,Marinara, Mozzarella, Basil and yes it was delicious! Drinks were great too-though forgot what I ordered but I know it was my kind of sweet and it was served like an Old-Fashioned cocktail. And the most important part of the dinner-Desert and we got to try their Key Lime Pie and yes it was great as the whipped cream melts in with the flavor. Mmmm..mmm P.S. We got lucky with the parking near the front as everyone knows 5 Points can be a challenge at times and we are grateful for the staff for accommodating us on our visit and we will be back to try the Bruschetta Board selection.

Yelp
Disappointed with the 'Nashville hot' chicken lollipops at this place. They were more like 'Nashville not' - lacking the spice and flavor that I was expecting. Won't be coming back for this dish. The beer was good though. Adding an UPDATE: Interesting that you (the owner) respond not to address the review directly, but to try to gaslight the fact that you did have them last weekend. My review stays true that they didn't taste like hot chicken, and I'll even go out on a limb to say the sriracha is underwhelming as well. Good luck getting return customers with your business savvy. UPDATE 2 As you can tell by the response of the owner, they genuinely could care less about the customer experience. They would rather try to undermine or invalidate my overall experience instead of acknowledging the concern and moving on. Any real business owner would take the feedback as an opportunity for growth and improvement but obviously that's not what they want to do. There's plenty of restaurants in this area that will value your feedback, so I would recommend you go elsewhere. Why spend your hard earned money on someone bent on stroking their own ego.

Yelp
AMBIANCE / SERVICE: Prospect Five Points ambiance is very nice and open. They have seating indoors and outdoors, although mostly indoor. Our server was very nice and attentive throughout our visit. FOOD / DRINK: My dad and I ordered a Bloody Mary and a draft Ace Pineapple. Both drinks were good. We then ordered the Pistachio Goat Cheese Balls, Caesar Salad with Blackened Chicken, and the Margaret Street Flatbread. The Pistachio Goat Cheese Balls are AMAZING - just WOW! The Goat Cheese Balls are a must get. The Caesar Salad was good - I do wish that there was more dressing on it as the dressing was nicely made. The Margaret Street Flatbread was tasty and light. The crust was made to perfection. I think it could have used a little more goat cheese, but overall was good.

Yelp
Busy place with a nice vibe. It was decorated for the holidays which added to the ambiance. We went there with friends and everyone enjoyed their meal. The server was attentive and friendly.

Yelp
I personally never heard of this restaurant nor heard of any recommendations but they had a Teal Deal coupon so we decided to try it out. Located at Five Points and the place is pretty cozy. We got a table inside since it was raining that day and we were situated and tucked in a corner nook at the end wall. We ordered and shared a flatbread as our starter and it was very good. The entrees were also great. The steak was cooked perfectly bedded on freshly cut potato fries.
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
Prior to getting some ice cream Mike and I wanted to grab a bite to eat so after looking on Yelp for far too long (because there were too many delicious options) we decided on Prospect Five Points. It was raining on a Sunday around noon and we were able to walk right in. The staff were all very friendly and pretty quick to greet us and fill our water. We had the honor of having Pat as our waiter, he was super helpful when it came to suggestions and narrowing down our options. We ordered the chicken sliders to start, it came with three and each was packed with flavor. I might be losing my mind but I am pretty sure some kind of garlic something was brushed on the bun because I could smell garlic but it wasn't a dominant flavor in the slider. Disclaimer foodie nerd moment ahead: I love intentionality like that when it comes to a dish I levels up the experience of the food. For my main I ordered the Massaman curry short rib holy flavor central!!!!! I loved everything about this dish! It sounds like something that would be best paired with rice however it was paired with pasta, I will be honest I thought it wouldn't work but I was wrong it was delicious! I actually couldn't eat all of my curry dish knowing I was about to get six scoops of ice cream so I boxed about half up and it reheated so well the next day for lunch! The meat was so easy to break apart with a spoon and it borderline melted in my mouth. I am not sure you can go wrong here but I will be back this upcoming weekend to try some more items!

Yelp
Came back again and man, what a fantastic experience. My wife and I had brunch earlier in the morning so we went for a walk in the area. We decided to get cocktails and an appetizer afterwards. The wine was what we had last time, and just like last time it was wonderful. The Moscado is unreal. I also loved the other two, but we've bought that Moscato at the store because it's so good. The Bodega drink was the most amazing thing. It's like they made a drink that's made just for me, it was perfectly balanced and had a flavor profile that was so delicious. I'm not a big drinker, but I would have easily had more. The cheese balls are so simple but so good. My wife HATES goat cheese but loves these because the cheese they use isn't super tangy like most goat cheese. I'll eat eat cheese every day, so I'm in heaven. The combo of the sweet honey and the cheese with those crunchy pistachios. It's so good! That last cocktail in the champagne flute (Wish You Were Here) was so refreshing. I can imagine a warm summers day and this drink being the perfect combo. We loved it. Excellent service. And the patio was so comfortable.

Yelp
Fun place near five points in Riverside. Good selection of tasty flatbreads, salads & handhelds, plus a brunch on the weekends. Happy Hour from 3-6 PM daily. Interesting drinks and nice selection in the bar. Very decent wine collection plus a dozen rotating taps.

Yelp
Debbie F and I stopped in while plotting her birthday party bash and sat at the bar to enjoy a few happy hour cocktails and order some food. It was a Wednesday and not too late- so it was quiet inside, we were the only ones at the bar. Lemon Drops and old fashioneds were had. Debbie wanted the bruschetta platter- even though it was different than when she had it before- she even asked for pesto on the side (her favorite from before). Some of the boards change seasonally. I tried to order a flatbread- but the bar tender must not have heard me with all the back and forth about the bruschetta board- bummer. FYI- they have some flatbreads on happy hour special. I will have to stop back in and really explore the menu more- this seems like a great happy hour and nibbles place to go with friends. Which is exactly how I ended up here!

Yelp
Dine here with my coworkers a couple weeks ago. Cute little Cafe, breakfast and lunch items are limited so I ordered the breakfast burger and fries. To be honest, it was just mediocre, nothing stands out or special about it. The fries was the highlight of the dish, crispy and fresh. The interior is cute and cozy, indoor seatings are tight and limited, same goes with outdoor area. But for riverside restaurants, it's average.

Yelp
Yum Yum Yum ... definitely recommend and worthy of their 5 star rating! Server, Erin in the back dining room is phenomenal! She was attentive and anticipated needs of all the diners in the room! Parking on a Saturday night can be a challenge, but well worth it! Chef's special - grilled chicken over linguine - Excellent. Grilled Salmon - cooked to perfection. Good flavors. The cheesecake - Jameson & Bailey's ... to die for. Drinks - Sangria & Strawberry Fields - delectable! We will be back again!

Yelp
This has been on my "to try" list for quite some time, and while in the area my sister and I decided to give it a go. They were booked with reservations (there is some holiday coming up??!), but we were invited to sit at the inside or outside bar. We opted for inside as it was getting chilly and rainy. We were promptly greeted by the bartender Chere (unsure of spelling) at the bar, and since we were right at the end of happy hour, decided to take advantage. I ordered a margarita and my sister had a sparkling wine. She gave us tips on the menu and great descriptions of all the items we inquired about. We opted to do some shareable plates since it was our first visit. We chose a goat cheese/fig flatbread off the happy hour menu, the Roasted Brussel Sprouts, and the Tuna/Avocado stack. Food came out promptly and nice and hot. It all was presented very nicely and smelled amazing. The Goat Cheese and Fig flatbread was incredible. The cheese was so tangy and warm, the fig nice and sweet, the flatbread crisp. Perfect combo of the ingredients on top. The Brussel Sprouts, oh my gosh, if I could have stolen all of them from sharing I would have. Perfection in a cute little cast iron ramekin. Shaved parmesan, applewood bacon, and crumbled parmesan. I know it's simple, but sometimes that is the hardest to get perfect, and these were perfect. My sister and I both agreed the best we've ever had. The Tuna and Avocado stack is all it's hyped up to be. First, it's beauty on a plate. The crispy wonton chips surrounding it are light and flaky, and the stack is very good. It could have used a touch of salt, but that is my preference. Staff was very attentive and we enjoyed just sitting at the bar munching down on complete yumminess. It is a definite return as soon as possible to try out some of the other amazing sounding dishes on their menu.

Yelp
Eh... this place was honestly pretty disappointing. I'm diabetic and I try to limit my carbs where I can and this restaurant is not accommodating at all. Pros: - the shrimp and lobster roll was great in my opinion, but I like lemon. Everyone else said there was too much lemon on it. Cons: - service was okay but it was very loud and nobody could hear each other, including the staff - they refused to do any substitutions so highly recommend staying away if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. The roll came with fries and the only substitutions they would offer was an upcharge to truffle fries or $6 upcharge for a side salad. - the food was mediocre for the price point

Yelp
Great service and the food was decent, I just personally wouldnt come back because I didn't love the food. The best thing was the chicken on the chicken gnocchi (moist and great flavor). The gnocchi has a decent flavor, wasnt overcooked, and mushroom wasn't overpowering. We started with the chicken lollipops (I asked for extra carrots). They were good but spicy and the ranch was not great. I had the side cesar salad (good but some kind of oil on it that made it taste a bit odd) and the flatbread of the week (mozz, basil, carmelized onion). Flatbread was decent but too much mozz it was fatty and soggy. It was also very loud but seating was comfortable.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday around 6. Not crowded initially, but soon filled up. The food was excellent. We had tapas - pistachio goat cheese balls, chicken lollipops, and mozzarella salad. Service was attentive. Will definitely be back!! One thing we missed was that they give a 4% discount for cash. But you have to tell them you are paying with cash so they can reduce the amount of your bill. Usually restaurants will ADD a percentage if you are using a credit card. This is different.

Yelp
Only the 2nd time I've eaten here but there will definitely be a 3rd, 4th, etc.. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The crispy brussel sprout flat bread was probably my favorite. The perfect amount of crisp drizzled with just the right amount of sweet. The vibe is relaxing with just a tough of classy. On a nicer day, I would love to sit outside. There's no doubt that I'll be back for another great meal!

Yelp
My husband and I were able to get a seat at the bar on Saturday night and had a great experience. They serve a variety of local beers and had a good looking wine and cocktail list as well. We had the bruschetta board, Steak Frites, and chicken gnocchi. All of the dishes were outstanding. The bruschetta is not transitional and is a variety of meets/cheeses/jams served on toast. The bar tender offered many suggestions and was sure to explain anything we asked. It is a small restaurant and had we wanted to sit at a table reservations would have been necessary on a Saturday night. **tip: For only $12 you can buy a round of drinks for the kitchen!

Yelp
We stopped by before attending and event. Terrible service, sub-par food, waited over an hour and a half for two flatbreads while the (what I would assume to be the owners based on what I observed) sat at the table next to us while their kids ran around and didn't even care. The couple behind us had to leave before their food came out due to waiting over an hour. Server never once apologized or acknowledged the extremely long wait, didn't ask if we wanted another round of drinks or how the food was/if we needed anything. Definitely don't recommend, waste of time and money. Not one to write reviews or complain but felt it necessary.

Yelp
Customer service was good. We had a great waitress. Thursday is discount on flights when you order any food item. The hot honey pepperoni flatbread was DELICIOUS! Just the right amount of heat & sweet. If you like red wine then the Californication flight is for you. Very good!

Yelp
Slipped in Prospect on a whim. Tapas type place, food was really good and our server was super great. They have really cute wine bottle decor to add to the ambiance. Cannot wait to take my ladies here on a Sunday funday.

Yelp
Fantastic restaurant. We tried several small plates including the meatballs, pistachio crusted goat cheese and Brussel sprouts. All were delicious. Service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Strongly recommend!

Yelp
Nice, but small, pistachio goat cheese balls ($11). $5 happy-hour (3-6 PM daily) sparkling wine. We sat outdoors, where there was a bit of an ant problem. Quick service. I doubt I'd return because the bathroom was dirty, which I consider unacceptable.
