"This ViBe district bakery is a one-stop counter for morning pastries, sourdough breads, and Roman-style pizzas. Start the day with a cookie, scone, or cinnamon bun. For something savory, try a pizza: they’re made from three-day fermented dough along with toppings like bacon, pear, and blue cheese. The pies are known to sell out, and same-day orders are accepted until 12 p.m. The bakery’s pantry also sells a selection of local groceries, from cheese and charcuterie to hot sauces and jams." - Travis Mitchell

Google
Straight up the best bakery in the 7 cities and it’s not even a debate. Locals know the deal. Everything you might want as far as hand made pastries, breads, pizza and a wide variety of grocery options, either made in house or sourced locally. Huge organic wine selection you’ve never seen before. Lovely and large outdoor patio with a garden for you and the dog to enjoy. Cmon

I'm not sure why this place is rated so high. I had one margarita and one pepperoni pizza slices. They were ok, but nothing to be bragging about. Also had a cake that was recommended as not overly sweet, but it was still too sweet for me, mostly sweet "flavor." While waiting, I was looking at all the stuff and couldn't resist getting champagne strawberry cupcake. Eded up, not eating it because strawberry was rotten. Brown color. At first, I thought it was just old. After taking the first picture, I took strawberry off so I could eat the cupcake, but I noticed it was rotten. That ruined my appetite completely. Service was attentive, and everyone was very kind.

Probably some of the best pizza I've ever had. The Cauliflour Slice is a delightful medley of spicy, savory, and sweet. I've come here twice now and will be back 😋🍕🥧🍪☕️

Google
Best bakery I’ve been to! The cinnamon rolls are my favorite. Dough is tasty and fresh, and the icing is perfectly sweetened. Their pizza is great as well. The margarita was my favorite. I also had their brie and pear slice but I wish they put more brie and less pear. Would definitely recommend this place.

Loved everything I tried here. Enjoyed it so much I went back twice while visiting Virginia Beach on vacation. Delicious cookies and stuffed croissants. Sourdough bread was very good too, and while not the best I've had, still definitely worth it. Some of the cookies were just unbelievably good. Get a dozen, you won't regret it.

Prosperity Kitchen & Pantry is an absolute gem that has become a favorite of ours for its dedication to traditional baking methods and high-quality ingredients. This charming bakery prides itself on baking small batches daily, ensuring that everything is always incredibly fresh. One of our must-haves whenever we visit is their pizza by the slice. It never disappoints. The crust is perfectly crisp yet chewy, the toppings are always vibrant and flavorful, and you can truly taste the quality of the ingredients used. Each slice is a testament to their commitment to excellence and freshness. But Prosperity Kitchen & Pantry isn't just about their amazing pizza. Their bakery items are equally outstanding. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods. Whether it's their artisanal bread, decadent pastries, or delightful cookies, everything is baked to perfection. The care and attention they put into their products are evident in every bite. The atmosphere of the bakery is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious treat. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall wonderful experience. For anyone looking for fresh, quality bakery items or a slice of the best pizza around, I highly recommend Prosperity Kitchen & Pantry. Their commitment to traditional baking and high standards makes every visit a delightful culinary experience. It's a place where you can truly savor the difference that fresh, quality ingredients make.

Google
We were staying in a little house right around the corner from Prosperity and I happened to walk by and wander on in. Ordered coffees and some pastries to go…wow. My mom and I are obsessed with finding the best cinnamon bun and we were absolutely shocked how soft and delicious it was. The pastries are a must try! The location is also very cute and perfect for breakfast with a nice vibe. Highly recommend.

Google
Amazing pastry selection!! Love the local market inside too. Highly recommend the sourdough cookies and coconut macaroons!

Yelp
Ambiance a 5 for sure. It's obvious the owners have put a lot of thought into giving a positive customer experience: Patio seating with umbrellas and mirrors, interior space with lots of real plants, nice long hallway that gives so much room to dine, even a nook with comfortable sofa seating. Service is a 5 as well. Since it is my first time, you can imagine I needed someone very patient as I make decisions about what I want to try and needed answers to questions about their pizzas and cake truffles (akin to cake pops without the chocolate shell), flavors of cupcakes, etc. I am simply told to take my time! I ordered a ricotta and spinach pizza and 6 (for the price of 5) cake truffles. I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate hazelnut and snickerdoodle cake truffles!

Yelp
This is my favorite bakery in Virginia Beach. I love going first thing in the morning when they have a ton of selection available. They change it up daily which is really nice. They carry freshly baked pizza squares, quiches, croissants, scones, cookies, muffins, bread loaves and more. I love that they offer these items in unique flavors. Everything I've had there has been good and nothing has been overly sugary (for the sweeter items). They're savory items are delicious as well. They are an order at the counter type of establishment and they have a few communal tables for dining. They also have a little market with foods and wines.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in the vibe district it's right next to the Virginia Beach arts Center. There's parking once you go inside. It is so cute and there's a display case with desserts as soon as you walk in and then around the corner there's the pizzas and baked items all the way to breads. throughout the whole shop are items that you can purchase from coffees, jellies cookies etc Ordered: Potato Pizza 10/10

Yelp
All i can say was my first experience at prosperity was great and ver unique. Food was delicious, warmed the pzza right on up. Can also be purchase by the slice and the Cinnamon bun bread pudding was delicious. Though i do wosh it had a little more flavor in it. The service i received was fantastic. Everyone i contacted was smiling happy courteous and kind and look to help. Also since the food is literally right there. Almost no wait time to get my food. Its very clean very laid back homy kind of vibe. I really enjoyed. Cand definitely get a small group in there and oartake in some of thier wines. Overall great experience prosperity and thank you.

Yelp
It's very eclectic and very very good. Always nice service and nicest people. The interior is really great too. Food for Breakfast and Lunch as well as snacks is always on my list.

Yelp
Ambiance is lovely, loads of choices for breads and pastries! A few gluten free options available.

Yelp
Prosperity is an incredibly delicious bakery on Virginia Beach Blvd that cannot be missed. I know you are thinking that this is the place for sweets, however, I cannot rave enough about their pizza. Every flavor I tried was amazing and blew me away. I had pepperoni, sausage and tomato, and sweet and spicy. The sauce is sweet and the vegetable toppings had a great kick of flavor that indicated their freshness. The sweets were also delicious particularly their cinnamon cookie and truffles. My favorite dessert was their Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie! The service was great and the staff was clearly working hard to make sure their baked goods were well stocked. The bakery itself has a great organic and farm-fresh vibe that gives the essence of new and off-brand while also relaxing. They have street parking and plenty of places to sit outside or inside for a restful time. I highly recommend anyone in the area stop by for a bite.

Yelp
Prosperity is one of the greatest gems in the oceanfront area that absolutely shouldn't be missed. I have been wanting to try it for many months and finally made it over this past week to just try a few of their items. I was immediately impressed by the service and hospitality that all of the employees portrayed. Atmosphere is also very cute, with both indoor and outdoor seating, however I took everything to go. Their pizza is phenomenal. Probably the best pizza Ive had in Virginia. It seems that they change the flavors daily. I got the sausage and okra, the eggplant and the ham and mozz. All were fantastic. Their cookies and pastries are also phenomenal.

Bianca S.

Yelp
A gluten-lovers paradise. Their breads, cookies and pies are top notch. Highly recommend their sourdough loaf. I feel lucky to have found this place.

Yelp
The cutest stop for pastries and pizza. Why have just one when you can have both? Everything they make is made from scratch. The moment you walk in, you're invited by the sweet smell of carbs. They have a selection of pizza first and then the pastries on the other side. The flavors of the pizza look like they change depending on what runs out and what they decide to replace it with. We first got a slice with pesto, mozzarella cheese and prosciutto and they warm it by placing it in the oven, it was delicious. And the slice was perfect for a serving. We wanted another one and the second time around they put a new pizza out which was a Mexican style one and that was even better. The flavors were vibrant and didn't lack. It was delicious. We also got a brown butter cookie and it did not disappoint. We did come in the summer and there wasn't very much air inside so it was a bit suffocating with the heat, but it was so worth it.

Yelp
First glance super cute atmosphere and many options as well as friendly service. We bought: - cardamom orange cupcake - double chocolate hazelnut sourdough cake - raspberry chambord cake truffle - chocolate wine truffle - two slices of pizza. (Pepperoni and the blue cheese pear) Pizza was good specifically the pepperoni however the desserts were not good. The orange cupcake frosting smelled BAD, reminiscent of stinky cheese and was probably made with a rancid dairy product or sat out for a while in room temp. Shortly after eating it my sister experienced an upset stomach. The hazelnut cake was ok (somewhat dry in my opinion) and was not anything special. I would not buy it again. As for the truffles the wine one was the better option and the raspberry one just tasted like dry dough. Someone wrote in another review that the cakes and truffles taste like they are left there for days and days and after this experience I agree. Had higher expectations for this place due to all the wonderful reviews but was left disappointed.

Yelp
First time going here and it was really good, decent prices, tasty food, loved the quiche, wasn't a huge fan of the cookie but everything else was great, I would definitely stop here again to try more items! The vibe is so cozy too, love the plants and music and decor, the workers were all friendly as well :)

Yelp
Great friendly service from a small business! They had such a wonderful; tasteful display of baked fresh daily breads, small cakes, cookies, vegan breads etc. Came upon this local Gem while walking around looking for a cup of coffee. I really enjoyed the vibe I got when I entered and as I looked around at all the home made jars of pickles, sweet treats you name it. Small but very quaint. I'll definitely come back here!

Kati W.

Yelp
We make a special trip all the way from the Outer Banks just to fill our cooler with the irresistible frozen soups here--they're that good! And of course, we can't resist grabbing a few sweet treats for the drive back. The place is spotless and offers an impressive variety to choose from. My only gripe? The staff at the register could bring a bit more warmth to their service. A smile goes a long way!

Yelp
Very cute place & I definitely give stars for aesthetic. We ordered a lot (maybe too much LOL), but I wasn't too impressed. The bread pudding lacked flavor. There was a crumble on top which was darn good but that was about it. The snickerdoodle truffle tasted very bland--the sugar in the outside was about all I got. The espresso cookie was pretty hard (great if you like that) and I tasted no espresso. Maybe I'd return to try the bread or savory offerings but I would probably skip it. Great service though.

Yelp
Oh this is a bad thing for me to know about. For sure gonna come back and make many bad choices here. I loved it! We got two different savory flatbreads, a huge ginger cookie (served warm), an egg frittata cup, a chai latte cookie, and a baklava croissant. Everything was amazing and delicious here and I saw some great takeaway items in the coolers and full loaves of bread like sourdough, challah, etc. you can get to take home. Staff were friendly and helpful - you just kind'a walk the glass-topped counter and pick out what you want and they'll plate it and warm it or package it for to-go. There is also a large selection of yummy sweet treats in a glass case by the front entrance, haven't tried those yet. They have some sodas and juices but no fresh coffee - you can easily walk across the street for that if you'd like some and bring it in with you to enjoy your pastries. We came back a few days later and got apple pie from the cooler to have for family dinner night. You had to bake it for about 45 minutes but it was ready to go aside from that, already prepared. It was absolutely delicious! You could tell this was handmade and fresh apple pie. Can't believe I haven't come here until now - now that it's in the rotation I'll definitely be coming here more!

Yelp
This was one of MANY trips to Prosperity. A unique bakery with an awesome atmosphere. They have so many delicious savory and sweet choices. This trip we grabbed a slice of margarita pizza and a baguette boat. Both were great!
google avatar

Tarnell S.

Yelp
The food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing The next time you are in Virginia Beach stop by and pickup a slice or two

Yelp
Nothing better than a quick slice of pizza. We tried the cheesy potato and truffle sausage slices...both were super tasty! If you're not feeling savory, they have baked goods galore including cupcakes, cookies, scones etc. Be sure to get there early on the weekends because they run out fast!

Yelp
Prosperity Kitchen & Pantry is also owned by Commune, so after having brunch, we walked on over to check out their offerings. There was a bakery case featuring various croissants and cookies, and you could also order pizza as well. We ordered: +a Pear & Honey Croissant +a White Chocolate Walnut Croissant +a flourless chocolate cookie +a Bacon, Pear & Blue Cheese pizza - made with organic flour and unfiltered olive oil, this slice had olive oil, pears, blue cheese, sweet onions, kale, bacon, mozzarella, and wild honey +a Mushroom Truffle Goat Cheese - made with organic flour, this had organic tomato sauce, mushrooms, truffle sauce, arugula, goat cheese, and olive oil +a Pepperoni - made with organic flour, this had organic tomato sauce, pepperoni, and cheese Honestly, the food items were just okay - the pizza's crust was a little dry and hard, and while the toppings were generous, I think that nothing was seasoned? The pastries were also something that should be picked up earlier in the morning, as by the time we got there, they have been sitting out for a while. Staff were okay, but could have been more friendlier and more welcoming. The place is bright and airy, and definitely aesthetically pleasing. There are communal tables set up, so you can dine-in and enjoy your treats. There's a lot in front of the place for parking. +dried-out crusts on pizzas +pastries were slightly stale +standoffish staff +private lot available for parking

Yelp
A friend recommended we stop by here after the aquarium. We're so glad we did! We had pizza and treats while there and brought home several more goodies to try later. The sourdough is the best I've had from any bakery in the area so far. I'll be back for their homemade ricotta, tomato sauce and meatballs! They also had other take and bake items that looked excellent. The red wine truffle is by far my most favorite piece of chocolate I've ever had.

Yelp
#Repost @melissaamartin1121 @download.ins --- The cutest bakery in VA Beach, a must see when you're visiting. I HIGHLY recommend the cream filled croissant! And if you're vegan they have a DELICIOUS vegan carrot cake cookie! Cannot wait to keep going back to Prosperity to support local!

Yelp
Haven't been in here for a couple years and I figured I would visit again. This place is just as good as I remember it from a couple years ago. All of their baked goods are amazing and fresh. They have great employees and are very nice to their customers. You can always expect quality service from all that work there. They have great indoor, and outdoor seating, both are relaxing, whether you're sitting outside on a nice day or inside, enjoying the amazing smell of the kitchen. I just had a basic coffee and chocolate croissant, but there's so many amazing options to choose from. It was hard to decide. I will definitely have to go back and try more. The best part is that they don't only just so pastries, but they saw amazing breads. I would love to get a loaf and use them for dinner or sandwiches in the future.

Yelp
I agree with everyone who called this spot cute, or a gem! We walked from the beach, about 20 minutes. We tried a peanut butter blossom cookie (unforgettable), bread pudding, a couple of slices of flatbread, and a couple of CBD waters. My travel companion loved it. The staff was nice. The restaurant was clean. We are just passing through on a weekend trip but we would come back if we were back in Virginia Beach. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Some delicious baked goods near the oceanfront. Great bakery located a few short blocks from the oceanfront, kinda blends in with the "vibe" district. Quick friendly service! Great addition to the oceanfront/vibe district

Yelp
We were very pleased with the bakery selections and the courteous staff . We will definitely go back the next time we're in the area. Unfortunately for us we didn't come across this establishment until on our way back out of Virginia Beach.

Yelp
I have now been here about three times and loved everything I have tried. Things are freshly made daily and great options. I enjoyed a breakfast muffin filled with veggies and sausage during one trip. Another visit was a slice of pizza. Their baked goods are also really great. They have coolers with some other items you can take to go (like drinks, pasta, etc). Service is always very attentive too!! I recommend this place to those who are visiting the area.

Yelp
Always fun in the ViBe. When we were ordering custom cakes for a few years they were our go to place. Earthy and seasonal.

Yelp
A year after my heartbreak of the extra $2 for Prosperity's happy hour I found myself hungry while walking around the ViBE. Prosperity has multiple picnic tables which is perfect for my COVID-comfort level. In the mood for something quick, easy, and outside I decided to give them another try. So first- they haven't brought back their Happy Hour deal. A year ago this would have been "soul crushing" (kidding, just being overly dramatic.) It's 2020- if you're upset because a local business isn't offering typical deals while they are dealing with reduced capacity, shutdowns, and all the other challenges that 2020 is bringing their way- just stay home. These businesses need your *full* support- not discounted. Same with your tips- don't forget to tip... okay getting off my soapbox and back to my experience. Employees were wearing masks properly, guests were too. It wasn't too busy on a Wednesday night so social distancing was natural. They still had 10 different types of pizza. Most were unique like beet, crab, bacon/pear. They also had pepperoni and bianca (cheese) if you aren't feeling adventurous. I'm not sure if they have tweaked their recipe or if they just aren't toasting them as long, but I enjoyed tonight's pizza much more than I have in the past! I'll say it still isn't my favorite style of pizza, but I'll definitely be more eager to return based on how it tasted tonight. The bread tasted better and complemented instead of distracted from the flavors on each slice of pizza. I really love that it isn't overly saucy since I'm not a sauce/tomato gal. I paired it with a mango habanero cider which was fantastic! They didn't bring us napkins which made it a little more of a messy experience until one of us finally gave in and went inside- don't be like us- grab some when you order if you plan to eat outside. I had a much better experience, probably even better than the days of their $10 happy hour special when I was visiting every few weeks. Gotta update my review and bump up the stars for it!

Yelp
This is one of my new favorites! The pastries are all phenomenal and so creative. I love that the packaged items for sale are mostly either made in house or Virginia made. Such a great spot to grab a fun pastry or unique and delicious pizza! I was intrigued by the scallop pizza and was not disappointed. It included blood orange and a béchamel sauce and it all tied together in a beautiful flavor profile that I thought was super fun and unique. The service was excellent and the workers are all super helpful, especially when I'm having a difficult time deciding between all of the amazing options.

Yelp
Always on the lookout for little 'hole in the wall' places as we travel. This place definitely will be returned to often!! We both had Salred Caramel cookies stuffed with buttercream, OMG!! Delicious!!!

Yelp
Great pizza and you can tell they use really fresh ingredients! The atmosphere is very open, casual, and fun, and everyone is really friendly. They have a ton of to go options as well!

Yelp
Everything I've tried from here has been AMAZING. The churro croissant was to die for. Also loved the cookie sandwich and cinnamon rolls. This place might be a new addiction! Workers were extremely friendly also !

Yelp
The service was great here. They offer a variety of baked goods, wine, kombucha, and other things. The space is welcoming and lots of plants 10/10 would recommend the place. The lemon cake truffle was good

Yelp
Fresh, delicious breads and pastries and they even have a mini grocery inside. They sell wine, frozen foods, and other specialty goods. Really wide selection. Super cute inside and outside. Service is fast and at the counter. Never really seen it super busy so no need to rush. Patio is pet friendly and in full bloom in spring and summer!

Yelp
It took me only a few years to review this place. I love prosperity! Especially their sourdough croissant. I usually try a little bit of everything whenever I stop by. I would be severely unhealthy if I lived any closer and constantly eating their cookies and cakes. Their cookies are amazing, and I love the texture of slightly chewy and slightly crisp on the outside. My number item will always be their sourdough croissant, I love the yeast/sourdough flavor that comes through. Texture has a flaky outer exterior and a soft and chewy interior. Visible honeycomb cross-section. Pockets of buttery flavor and aroma. I've had their Flatbread and other pizza items, but I can't say much since I'm not a pizza connoisseur.

Yelp
Me likey. I don't even have a sweet tooth but damn do those cinnamon buns call my name. Lots of choices from cupcakes to croissants and even pizza. Very happy they exist.

Yelp
FOOD: The pizza was good - we had the cheese, truffle, and bacon/pear, and the staff kindly cut each slice into thirds so we could share. The bacon and pear combination wasn't that great, in my opinion, but I really liked the truffle. Everything is also extremely reasonably priced. There's a refrigerator and pantry section where you can buy packets of cheese and salami, and we actually plated our charcuterie board ourself on the wooden serving board that our pizza came in! DRINKS: We ordered a bottle of white wine that had a high-ish rating on Vivino. There's a reasonably large selection of wines, with the cheapest bottle being around $25ish. I didn't expect for it to come in a chiller, given that Prosperity is half cafe/half market, so that was a nice surprise. VIBE: Prosperity is really cute, with lots of open space and interesting decor. I grew up in Virginia Beach and there weren't really cute spaces like this a decade ago, but I'm so glad to have found Prosperity now - I always go back when I'm home for a visit. I do wish the chairs were more comfortable, but that's my only complaint!

Yelp
Prosperity kitchen has always been on my "to eat" list and I finally had the chance to stop by! I actually saw them having a gift card giveaway on their Instagram which inspired the visit, tbh haha. Regardless, I stopped by on a Sunday and parked in the parking lot. Didn't know you could park right up front though. When I walked in I was greeted by the cashier and another employee to include the case of pastry goodies. I was informed Sunday's are half off pastries but dinner first! I ordered the sweet & spicy, double cheese, and artichoke. Was being super ambitious because they were pretty hefty slices! Enjoyed all of them, but the artichoke was my least favorite. Would've liked it more if it had a different base sauce. I did end up eating the crust of it though because YUM & it says a lot to enjoy pizza crust by its lonesome. The seating area is open and has high stools, which I like so I can swing my feet. My food was brought out to me on a cutting board platter after being warmed up. After eating, I went back to try a pastry and thankfully they could leave a tab open for me, so I didn't have to take my card out multiple times. It was the strawberry croissant and it was a no for me. Definitely would go back for their pizza and to try other pastries in the near future! Extras: Various meats, jams, sauces, etc. are on display/sale at this store. Complimentary water.

Yelp
This was a great place to stop and grab some sweet or savory baked goods! There were so many delicious options like cake truffles, cupcakes, croissants, scones, cookies and more. In addition to what is baked fresh, there is a large variety of take-and-bake options like biscuits and quiches or frozen desserts like cake and frosting. Plus, there were some fresh made salads and homemade soups for meal time. The staff was super nice and helpful. This place is a hit!
google avatar

Brittani S.

Yelp
This place is a whole boho vibe!! I loved the avocado seed rooting on the table and the truly interesting pizza combinations. We ordered 2 potato and rosemary slices, 1 apple and Brie slice and 1 margarita slice. The potato and rosemary was okay but needed way less rosemary and could have used some onions or shallots. Also could have benefited in the texture department as well. Something light and creative would have filled out the flavor profile. The Apple and Brie pizza was amazing. I repeat THE APPLE AND BRIE PIZZA WAS AMAZING. If you go here order this. It's worth the $4. You know you want to try it. It won't do you wrong. Where things fell flat for my husband and I was dessert. I ordered the poppy seed cake and he ordered the peanut butter cookie with the chocolate center. His was pretty good but nothing amazing. Mine was strange. It was like a cake pop only this weird gelatinous consistency all the way through. I was expecting light and tasty and it was heavy and sticky. Definitely would not recommend that if your heart is set on cake.
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
I really liked this place! Very aesthetic, rustic atmosphere with a wide selection of baked goods from cakes to cookies to pizza. I believe their baked goods change depending on the day but when I went I tried the dirty chai cookie, lemon stack cake, and earl grey honey cupcake. I liked that they offered unique flavors. Dirty chai cookie - nice subtle flavor and not too sweet. Lemon stack cake - strong lemon flavor, tender cake, sweet frosting. Earl grey cupcake - notable yet not overpowering flavors, sweet frosting. Would definitely come back here and highly recommend if you're looking for some high quality baked goods and cool vibes!

Yelp
Prosperity is a new Commune spin off. Bakery by morning, pizza & beer by night. They are now just two weeks in from their launch and off and running hard with big plans. Find them across the street from Commune. Signage is excellent and parking is plentiful. An outdoor patio is awaiting furniture in 2019. A green space and garden is a future idea on the side of the building. Unisex restrooms in front and clean. Co-owner Isaiah White has been with Commune from the beginning and shares her passion of baking breads, cakes, cookies and now Roman style pizza in her huge kitchen in the VB Vibe District. Over 2,500 square foot makes up the entire foot print of the unassuming cinder block building. Only the finest ingredients are used from local farmers including their own New Earth Farms. So you could say "eating local" has now went to another level with the bakery phase. This appears to be another aspect of a vision by Jaminson not necessarily planned on day one, but an evolution of their success with baked items. Partner and owner Kevin Jaminson of Commune & New Earth Farm assisted with the cool build out. The warehouse building was gutted and built with the specific needs of the operation in mind. They even used gorgeous old timbers from the demolished New Earth Farm house to create beautiful tables to dine on. Exposed ceiling with concrete floors provide a cool vibe to sip coffee and partake in a pastry selection, or two. According to Jaminson they will look at opportunities to expand their relationships to sell Prosperity breads in local restaurants. The kitchen is where the magic occurs baking scrumptious goods such as their wildly popular sourdough bread that is a labor of love per White. But there is much more than bread that's exiting the ovens. Lovely cakes that were previously designed by White out of Commune are now available daily at Prosperity. Other items such as a wide variety of cup cakes and cookies displayed for purchase will tempt even the most restrained customer. Pick-up of pizza available by calling and placing an order. Cakes are sold by slice, or whole with some ready made in the stores refrigerated case. My order was a slice of Sweet Potato Cake from the case. It paired perfectly with a cup of Haitian drip coffee by La Colombe. Oh my the marriage was heavenly. The cake was fresh and moist. The frosting sweet and fluffy. Checkout a breeze at the counter and tipping is availed by machine or jar. Service by staff friendly and responsive when coffee refills needed which are free. Staff also cleared my area. Self bussing is available as well as a self serve water station. I look forward to returning soon for their Roman style pizza nights. The Commune machine is on fire and no doubt they have another hit on their hands with Prosperity Kitchen & Pantry.

Yelp
Haven't had a pastry I've enjoyed yet, but I'm pretty picky. However, the pizzas, always good! I could do with a little more sauce on them (sometimes they're a bit dry) but the crust is the perfect combo of crunchy and soft. The veggie pizza has been a surprise favorite! Something in the sauce that gives it a bit of a kick without being too powerful. I love the creative combinations they do! So great. Looking forward to trying more things soon!

Yelp
Walked by this bakery when it was closed one evening. Read the reviews and meandered over there today. Great cookie dough truffle, peanut butter cookie truffle, and chocolate chip cookie!! Good size for each offering as I'm still enjoying hours later. Service was great and I was graciously provided guidance on shops nearby as I had some time to kill. Highly recommend! Made my way to Fathom to enjoy a cortado with my bakery items.

Yelp
Came for the pizza and was not disappointed. I got the carmalized onion pizza and oh my goodness was it tasty. My dining companion got the margarita pizza and said it was also good though it needed a bit more tomato and mozzerella. Also got myself a variety of baked goods that I intend on trying over the next gew days. Everything from sweet buns filled with whipped cream, to tomato basil crossaints, to chocolate chip potato chip cookies. If they are as good as the pizza I am in for quite the treat!! I will definitely return for some grocery shopping. Service waa amazing my only disappointment is a lavk of "normal" beverages. No non sparkling water or regular sodas.

Yelp
I love the pizza and the baked goods just wish they were open on Monday since it always seems that's when I want pizza for dinner. Good vegan za sometimes call ahead to see what they have on schedule for the night. Wish they had some low seating inside.
