Google
If you're looking for a German beer experience in Denver, this spot delivers. While Prost Breweries seem to be the current Denver trend, with more on the horizon, this location offers a strictly German beer selection. I found the food surprisingly good and the service excellent. Personally, I prefer smaller, independent breweries, and Prost felt a bit too corporate for my taste. The beer was good, but the large, commercial atmosphere wouldn't make it a regular destination for me without a specific reason. Though my usual rating would be a 3-star, I'll give Prost a 4.

Google
Fantastic experience. The place is huge, the food tasty, and you can take a look at the factory. The sausages were great also. Recommended

Google
We had so much fun here!! Beer was great, food was great. And no one cared that my kids weren't perfectly behaved and quiet. I will definitely go again!! We even took some to go!

Bethany L.

Google
Great beer, of course! The food was also really good. First currywurst I've had in a long time that captured the Berlin taste. The place was almost cavernous inside, but the biergarten outside was delightful and well-planned. Lots of kids running around unsupervised during the afternoon, so evening may be quieter.

Michael K.

Google
Amazing new brewery and restaurant. Good food and staff and a great atmosphere.

Google
Prost Biergarten is the real deal for authentic German food and beer! Having been to Germany, I can say this place truly captures the experience. The flavors, atmosphere, and beer selection brought me right back. If you're craving genuine German vibes, this is the spot! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Google
Julie was my amor busy bartender I started out with the winter Cosmo absolutely delicious way better than I expected. Old fashion was right on point nothing over the top but also very well-made then the third drink was a frozen elderberry. Margarita OK totally different but still right in the range of absolutely delicious I decided to do that beer garden board, which was kind of like a Shurie board, but with a different twist, pretzel pretzel trees, and so on definitely worth having. My daughter-in-law had gotten the seltzers and said that she prefers the pomegranate seltzer to the others. Shut up

Google
Everything that I have ever had from here has been great, whether it's food or drinks. While the line can seem very long, they are super quick about getting orders in and out. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Love when they have live music on the outdoor patio.

Yelp
This time we went with a group as there was a fun event. They had brewed a base beer and used three different yeasts. The idea was to try each, then you got a pint of the one you liked. There was also a QR code to vote for your favorite as well as provide tasting notes on each one. Even though there was a long line for beer, it moved swiftly. Note, it does get quite loud when there is a large crowd. There were so many folks there for this event. It really made it fun to taste and discuss with our friends. My husband ordered food for us. We tried the Flammkuchen (a German pizza) and the Pigs in a Blanket. The Pigs in a Blanket were four mini Prost Vienna Lager Brats in a pretzel croissant with German mustard and Jarlsberg cheese. Those were tasty. The Flammkuchen was our favorite. It was flatbread with fondue and Havarti cheese, Black Forest ham and red onion. Delicious and a good pair for beer.

Yelp
Amazing place and great beer, great reuse of a suburban big box. This has as a German biergarten feel like their original, with huge tables in giant modern-industrial spaces both indoors and outdoors. Just like many biergartens, there's great traditional (and shareable) food available, but no table service...and that also means there's no pressure to order more or leave the moment you finish. Their focus on German style beers mean they execute well, and they serve them quickly & efficiently. But they also have several guest taps if those classics aren't your thing.

Yelp
The food is good, beer is tasty BUT the waiting in long lines to get a drink is a no go for me. I love that it works for some, God bless you and your patience. Lol. But for me, it's a huge no having to stand and wait in only ONE line with two bartenders on a weekend night. I also made the mistake of keeping my tab open and had to wait in that line again to close it when we decided not to have anything else. Everything else was easily a 4.5 star but the inconvenience was enough to warrant a 3 from someone like me. I get they know the business better than I do... but I'm very confused by the process. For food... we had schnitzel, paprika fries and chicken sandy. Oh, and the pretzel bites. Which you can get as a side. And they're super affordable. As mentioned, food was good!
google avatar

Bill D.

Yelp
Food and brews were good, and establishment was clean and offered great service. You sit in benches at long tables and may have someone you don't know sitting close by, and if you are ok with that then it is worth the visit. Place gets a bit loud.
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
Good beers fun atmosphere, the food is really good. The beers are great, they a 2L das boot for some fun. The service is always fantastic.

Yelp
Prost has really grown up. They still operate their facility in NW Denver but have moved on from brewing at Avery and have a large production facility in Northglenn. This place is great. The staff is friendly. The tap room is wide open and has high ceilings and lots of natural light. They have a really nice patio, food, a great bar...really everything you need in a Brewery. As I scan the tap room I see several cornhole setups that I assume can be used by patrons. I had the Helles, which is very flavorful and light. It's earthy but also carries a nice roasty flavor to go with light hops on the back end. I followed it up with a Summer Lager, which is a Helles type export lager. It has a delightful malty flavor and is slightly bitter as it finishes. Light aromas of apple and leaves. Swing in, this spot is great!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this Prost space much better with easy parking compared to their OG location, but glad they've grown to be in this spot. Food has been consistently yummy and the beers are tasty. The restroom and the dining hall has always been clean. Employees have provided great service. The only thing is if coming here when they're busy, they typically have a long wait of a line for beers so it's kind of a bummer to get 2nds or 3rds to have to wait in line again but that just goes to show that they're doing well. Don't mind the wait if I get the 1L beer. We really love the Vienna beer braut, wings fried crispy with sauce on the side, and fries. Love that they open the garage doors in the summer and have the same space heated in the winter. Very happy they're bringing business up north and no need to trek to Denver for great atmosphere.

Yelp
Prost is the gold standard for German beer in Colorado and maybe even the US! This Prost location is beautiful. It has large open communal seating, great outdoor space, and a private area for events. The bar is large and has dozens of taps; they'll quickly get you fixed up with a wonderful beer. The food is also great, with several traditional German foods, such as schnitzel and knockwurst. You can't go wrong with their food or drinks. It's truly a blessing to have such an amazing brewery in Northglenn.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I came up here for the craft fair in Northglenn and saw this brand new place I guess his one around Lodo too which I've never been to but my goodness they've got like six loggers different types of loggers and then they have the iba's ipas and also the non-alcoholic drinks and their beer sizes all the way up from a taster to a What's called the dust boot which is 68 Oz anyhow a really nice brand new clean Place several levels huge outdoor patio great menu also if you like German food especially sausages like knockwurst and then they have great German sauerkraut bratwurst not worse single dogs lots of french fries and peppercuffs sauce which is very German
google avatar

Teresa M.

Yelp
German-Style Fast Food is a great way to put it... and way better than your standard fast food joint, for not much more. Between the hubs and I, we were quite satisfied... (I love white sausage while he doesn't & i wasn't crazy about the slaw but he was - all about balance!) The place is huge, absolutely massive, with both private & communal tables - who doesn't love options? The space is definitely designed for spending ample time when stopping. You order at food at one counter (brought to your table) & drinks at another (take with you)... You bus your own tables, tho staff will grab empties in passing - so, you may not have to. It's busy, very busy, but well-ran. The clientele are diverse & all were enjoying themselves. Self-guided tours on site. I'd definitely come again.

Yelp
I came into town for a high school reunion here last weekend and the event was held upstairs! What a great space. The food was excellent. The staff are kind and attentive. Im not a beer drinker but I had the brewing Co's version of an aperol spritz and it was amazing!! 10/10 will visit for dinner when I am back in town!!

Dr Randall H.

Yelp
We came here for the first time tonight. They don't have waiters or waitresses. Who wait on you. It's kind of cafeteria style. There was a big line and we were reluctant, but that line moved very fast. The beer was average, but the staff were out of this world good. They were friendly. One bartender smiled. They all talk to us. Even the manager came up and chatted with us twice. That in itself makes me want to go back. I've lived in Germany, I write about Wine and bear, consult, breweries, and wineries, and I think there are a few things they are missing, but I enjoyed it.
google avatar

JaNiece C.

Yelp
We only went for the food, maybe that was the mistake but I seen this being featured on the news and they spoke so highly of the food that we had to try it. My Husband used to live in Germany so he had high hopes but we were disappointed. Maybe we shouldn't have went to a brewery hoping for good food. The vibe was great and the staff was nice but that's it. If I ever return I'll give a beverage a try but the food is a no for me!

Salina W.

Yelp
Great food and drink menu! Friendly and attentive service, spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, live music in the patio, and kept very tidy! Excellent space to host a larger event, layout is ideal, ample and well lit parking, less then 10min from downtown (central for all guests), outdoor space is spacious, string lighting above, game area, stage for live music...great venue!
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
This is such a great addition to the Northglenn community offering indoor and outdoor seating- great for a group gathering or simple visit. The long tables offer great seating options and the layout of the facility is very well laid out with bathrooms on both levels and view into the fermentation room. The bar is typically one line with multiple bartenders helping assist the line. It may look discouraging but it goes fast! The food is all amazing and they deliver it directly to your table. We love having Prost here!
google avatar

Veronique C.

Yelp
There's much to love about this brewery. They offer a nice selection of craft beers, a few wines, ciders, and even cocktails. The food is yummy; I also like the convenience of ordering at the counter and having it brought it to your table. The space is huge and can be very, very loud at times. For that reason, my group opted to seat outside, where we listened to a band while enjoying our drinks and food. I must highlight the spaetzle and the hummus topped with roasted veggies, both were delicious!
google avatar

Becki H.

Yelp
Popped in here on our way north from Golden and was blown away by the size! This place is as true to a modern German beer hall as you can get - long family-stye picnic tables, high arching ceilings and picturesque fermenters behind tall glass windows. There was a line to the door, but we cut through and sat at the bar, and were helped immediately. You pay for your beer (or cider, or wine, or frozen cocktails) at the bar and then order your food at another counter in the rear of the building. My husband and I snagged our drinks, placed a food order and waited for a bit. They have small discs with GPS in them (maybe?) so the servers bring your food to your table. We ordered the Jägerschnitzel which came perfectly seasoned, piping hot, and on top of delicious spaetzle. While it's very loud inside, and very crowded on a weekend, the service was fast and friendly, and everything we tasted on tap, and from the food menu, was delicious. We'll be back on a week day so we don't have to fight the crowds next time!
google avatar

Phillip B.

Yelp
This is not just another beirgarden this is definitely a new way of drinking beer. The set up is nice and clean. And the servers make sure you don't have an empty glass. The pretzel I ordered was nice and soft plus the dipping sauce was tasty as well. A good pairing with the beer.
google avatar

Caroline Y.

Yelp
This place is great! They have everything, from craft beers, created at the brewery to wine, to cocktails, nonalcoholic, drinks, and food! I've been here a couple times and tried multiple things. The food is great and if you are ordering beer, you get a large pour for your money. There is ample seating and even an outdoor area with fire pits to hang when the weather is nice. This is a great place to come with a large group for dinner and hanging. It does get a little loud due to the open nature of the building, so I wouldn't recommend this for a quiet intimate hang. There are vegetarian and vegan options to choose. Most of the food is German, but there are some American choices as well. There's a soft drink machine too. Overall, this is an excellent addition to Northglenn!
google avatar

Peter S.

Yelp
It's all amazing. A great place to eat, drink and hangout with friends. The food is all good and the patio makes eating outside a great thing when the weather is good. They can also open the garage doors and expand access to the outdoors but also close it to keep it warm in cold weather. They have a couple of areas for groups if you need a larger area.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
I love this place, such an awesome venue with a ton of beer options and the food has never disappointed. It's hard to find options in the suburbs that are actually enjoyable to go to and offer good food but Prost is one of those places! Beer here = Awesome! Food here is Awesome as well! I am a big fan of the Buffalo Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage and also like the Reuben too. I haven't personally had them but the Burger and Spatzle Mac N Cheese have gotten rave reviews from my friends and family as well. There's tons of seating options both inside and outside so it's a good place to drink and hang out with friends, or bring the family and let the kids run around while you have a few beers and listen to live music.
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
This is a great place to hang out with friends or family for a good beer and food! The brewery is huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have a large communal bar with lots of taps. I enjoy that they have guest taps, including a cider and sour, which are more up my alley. I tried the frozen espresso martini, and it was delicious. I think most of their cocktails are on tap. I was impressed with their food. I ordered the cheddar jalapeño sausage on a roll with sauerkraut and mustard. It was delicious. The bread they used was fresh and soft, and the sausage had a nice snap. I also got the fingerling smashers, which were a good change from regular fries. Northglenn needed a brewery that could keep up with the Rino area. This place is awesome.
google avatar

Molly W.

Yelp
Love this brewery in Thornton! Great addition to the neighborhood. It's massive and they have self guided tours. They have classic German beers here in addition to guest beers, you really can't go wrong when ordering. I love this grapefruit hefeweizen that they have but it's seasonal unfortunately. They have some good food options too! I would not recommend the fingerling potatoes, but I would recommend the schnitzel sandwich. Like I said before this place is massive, you don't have to worry about finding a seat and I would recommend for big groups.
google avatar

Suzannah V.

Yelp
Open/Large Space. Great food. Bit loud but all good. Family style seating so busy busy. And DD's get to drink soda for free.
google avatar

Tony J.

Yelp
Big beer garden and brewery in a plaza/strip mall of the Denver suburb. The main beer garden/bar space is huge with picnic tables and regular seating, and there is a smaller second level where you can see the brewing operations next door through large windows. Went there on weeknight and they were doing good business, but seats aren't hard to find since the place is so big. They have a bar for ordering drinks, and another counter for ordering food. They have a 10ish varieties of mostly German style beers on tap. My friend and I each ordered tasting flight of four, for $12 each. Beer is okay, tasted pretty standard German style beer. Had the low alcohol grapefruit beer which tasted more like juice than beer. As for the food, it's also German-inspired cuisine. They have a cool system where they give you the beeper after you order food, but you can then put the beeper on a specific spot on each table and the staff knows where to deliver the food to you. Pretty cool system. I ordered the jaeger schnitzel and also shared some sliders. The sliders ($14) come in 3s, and it's a pretty good sized slider, with soft bun and a nice juicy pork & beef patty. The jaeger schnitzel ($18) comes on a layer of spaetzle (German pasta) and also topped with bits of fried onion and bacon and mushroom gravy. Also comes with a sweet cranberry sauce. It was a pretty substantial piece of fried pork cutlet that tasted pretty good. Overall, cool space to visit and get some food and beer. Food was good. Beer was alright.
google avatar

Danielle L.

Yelp
This place is pretty big. Lots of space, and it recently opened-about a month. Fun menu items to try! Lots of sausages to try. The pickles were good too. The curry dog-I thought had curry in the actual sauage but it's only in the ketchup part. Wings had good house made flavor. I don't think it's a bbq but I could be wrong.
google avatar

Dawn J.

Yelp
We went late Sunday afternoon. Football games were on and it was probably 70% full. 10 of their beers on tap, guest taps and mixed drinks available. We loved their Hefeweizen and the grapefruit radler. They also have a kitchen with good German food. Friendly Staff and huge open tap room. Great for families and friends but it gets pretty loud so would be tough to have a deep conversation. We will go back for sure!
google avatar

Justine S.

Yelp
My favorite neighborhood spot, hands down! Their beer and frozen cocktails always hit the spot and their food is delicious. There's plenty of room so it's rare to not find a good spot to sit. I love their live music outside in the summer, and the fire pits on the colder days. The staff is always very nice as well. Definitely recommend :)

JP S.

Yelp
Fun Octoberfest with great beer and food. Plenty of seating. I like the ordering and food delivery process, easy and efficient. BTW, the outdoor area is fantastic, comfortable and relaxing.
google avatar

Carolina H.

Yelp
Beautiful brewery!! They have a lot of staff members helping out and making sure everyone in line gets their beers right away! I was impressed with how fast they were working and how organized they were all evening. The beer selection is great, with guest taps and cocktails as well. They also serve food!! That's always a plus in my book! Tons of seating inside and some outside as well with fire pits. I love how open it is and can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Abigayle S.

Yelp
The beers here are so great, but the food makes me want to come back for more! Having a German Oma growing up, I've missed some of the homemade food she'd make and Prost's sauerkraut brings me BACK. I had the brat with sauerkraut and it was delish. We had the pretzel to start which was also very good, and my boyfriend reported positively on his schnitzel sandwich! It's a grab and sit down area inside, but everyone was so nice that we spoke with, and were very open to explain anything if we had questions!
google avatar

Mel K.

Yelp
How wonderful to have fun restaurants creeping into the north metro area. This is just a fun, family friendly place to grab some good food and drinks. It opened recently but is already packed daily- which is a great sign. As the lone celiac of the family, I was sad to be surrounded by delicious looking pretzels and snitchzels that my family gobbled down with delight but the salads were a good constellation prize for anyone that would have an allergic reaction to such deliciousness. Everyone I was with gave it all two enthusiastic thumbs up. According to the ten family members I was with, the beers were fantastic as well. But never fear, for anyone not that into beer, they have my favorite pear cider on tap and some delicious looking cocktail drinks to boot. Glad to have this place close by! Will be coming back soon
google avatar

Doctor L.

Yelp
Order beer first unless you want to eat cold food. Bar is woefully understaffed, so be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes in line for beer.
google avatar

Lori L.

Yelp
Good drinks, good food, good atmosphere. Of course try all the brews... and the froze is really tasty! They have a full bar if you are not a beer person, so there's something for everyone.
google avatar

Kristin B.

Yelp
This place is WAY bigger than I thought it would be. The food is really good and I ended up getting a white Cosmo which was soooo delicious. My husband got a flight of Pilsner, Kolsch, Hefe Weizen, Vienna, Summer Lager, West Coast Pilsner. He said he liked the Summer Lager the best.
google avatar

Glen W.

Yelp
HUGE venue! Same beer. The French fries are still the best and the staff remembers me from the Highlands Ranch location. Still my favorite place

James S.

Yelp
Bad food, bad service. Would not return or recommend. Couldn't believe what staff person said to another patron.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Great addition to Northglenn! I host a monthly meet-up group, and we've had a few visits at Prost. Everyone is always impressed with the beautiful space, ample parking, and selection of beers (Prost and rotating drafts). For those not looking to drink alcohol, they do have a blonde NA option and yummy kombucha. Decent selection of food! I'm vegetarian and enjoy the hummus plate. It can be very loud inside, which makes conversations involving everyone a little difficult. I'll be curious how the garage doors being open in the summer impact that.
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
We ordered the German sausages and pretzels. Both were really good. The service was quick for how busy the place was. We went on a Saturday afternoon and they had a live band playing some great music. The inside is really nice and the outside patio is great. Love what they did at this location as I've also been to the one in Highlands Ranch. The beers are always on point and I love the big steins. Will definitely be back while the weather is good.
google avatar

Sherry J.

Yelp
- Bar on one side, food orders on another - This place is huge!! Tons of seating available and lots of TV screens for games - Great place to gather with a large group of friends - There's outdoor seating space as well as a fire place
google avatar

Jordan C.

Yelp
Stopped here after flying in to DEN to calm the traveling-with-a-3-year-old nerves before checking in to our Airbnb. Super cool spot--beers were great as was the food. The space was great for our kid to run around and play to burn off some energy. Great vibes all around; so much so that we ended up going back the next day after hiking the Red Rocks loop trail.
google avatar

Connie A.

Yelp
Our first time here and close to home. We sell Prost beer at my work so we had to check it out! Watching some football go Broncos!
google avatar

Kara H.

Yelp
My husband said I was undersold this place, and on a second visit I think he might be right. The space is HUGE and has lots of little rooms that can be reserved for private events of all sizes. There's a shuffle board table, which is super fun. The chicken doner was out of this world good- super fresh ingredients, with taziki that was heavy on the dill plus another sauce that gave it the perfect amount of kick. It wasn't on the board, but it was on the online menu, so the person at the counter was gracious enough to make it. Hopefully they put it back on the regular menu because it is my absolute favorite thing. The loaded fingerling was also really good, but could have used more cheese and a few pieces were burnt. The cinna-berry dessert was fab- candied nuts and ice cream are my new look for at a restaurant. We did the jagersnitzel again and it was stellar- double the cranberry sauce and put the fried onions on the side to make it chefs kiss perfect. Grapefruit radler- really light, not too heavy on the grapefruit. Very low on the abv but super drinkable Vienna- just brewed yesterday and not on the menu, so smooth. My 2nd favorite beer I've had here so far Summer lager- despite being a lager, this is not a light beer to me. Very heavy on flavor complexity. Too much for me but my husband loved it. Elderflower margarita- a little more sour than I was expecting, but good. White cosmo- sweet, not too cranberry heavy. Served with fresh cranberries and a sprig of mint as a garnish. Espresso martini- very coffee heavy, not too sweet. Served with dark chocolate shavings which were delicious as a garnish. Pretty heavily caffeinated Bohemian pilsner- if you like complex but light, this one might be for you. This was my favorite beer out of the menu that I tried. Definitely plan to go back and thank you for a great night Prost! Food and drinks were both on point.

Melanie T.

Yelp
The food is good, there are plenty of choices for drinks (the staff is very knowledgeable if you need help deciding) and the merch is cool. Maybe something different if you are looking for an intimate night as it's very open and can be a bit loud, but a fun night for groups and work events. Would definitely recommend.

Phan M.

Yelp
We had good time coming here! Big space with wonderfully staff. Drink was good and the food was delicious. Price is not too bad for a night out!
google avatar

Bruce S.

Yelp
We were in Denver brewery hopping. Prost was our favorite spot. Amazing German food and great drinks. The spot is consistently busy so you know they're good. You hop in a line to order beers as you would in many breweries, but it moves quick. There's an indoor section and outdoor patio area as well. Very lively and fun.
google avatar

Manny P.

Yelp
New in the area, and so exciting to see how busy it is!Especially during the winter time, can't wait until the weather turns up this summer as a beer garden... but anyway the drinks are always tasty the well crafted German style beers, my personal favorite is the Dunkel but not afraid to switch it up the their variety! Different glass sizes to choose from, even the famous "Das Boot" The seating is family style, sit anywhere you can squeeze in, I personally don't mind as an extrovert. My introverts get a hype man and you'll love it! It is still a family friendly place so the kids can eat and be with you. The cleanliness and servers are on top of it!
google avatar

Hank A.

Yelp
Great place, very clean. it has an outdoor patio. We can take your dog out. Also have a stage out there for live entertainment. We enjoyed a flight of beers, and all of them are very good. This is all we needed for lunch, as far as drink There were three of us for lunch so we ordered several items to share. We got the Beirgraten Board 3- meats and cheese with candied walnuts, bread, fondue cheese and other items.' we also ordered Spoetzl mac & cheese, Ruben at a pork schnitzel. Everything is good. We will try again. I will definitely recommend this place. The portions were good size The service was excellent. The doors were open when we got there to create a nice breeze, but when I told the management staff that I wanted to sit, play someplace warm, he said no problem we will close some doors. I have a feeling I found a new place to hang out. Very good job.

Yelp
This brewery is rather large and quickly packed full for a Sunday lunch time. I'm especially happy about this type of fare in this neck of the woods because sometimes you just need a fresh pretzel and Currywurst on a crispy bed of fries. The salad was not memorable next to the other favorites but a good option for the vegetarians. My toddler love the outdoor area to run around afterwards. This would be a great place to take visitors to!
