Niki, our server, was wonderfull! It wasn't too busy but she kept busy sweeping the deck while providing great information on a tour today. She is from the town where we will be stopping for lunch. Had a couple of places she recommended and even names to ask for. What a wonderful and pleasant lady! Thank you!

We’ve lived in Fort Collins for 8 years and somehow never made it to Prost Brewing when it was in Old Town. No idea how we missed it. But the new location? Absolutely awesome. We loved it. The beer was killer. The bartender was cool as hell—super friendly, knew their stuff, and even came outside to check on people at the patio. Who does that anymore? Most places barely notice you at the bar, let alone outside. It was busy too, but they actually gave a shit. That kind of service is rare. There was a food truck out front (also amazing). Honestly, this might be our new favorite brewery in Fort Collins. We’ll be back a hundred times.

Google
Rating does not include any food. German beers are, of course, nut allergy friendly. We got here around 2:00 PM on a Saturday afternoon. There's ample indoor seating. As we were hanging out, several big groups came in, but it never felt overcrowded. It was very easy and quick to get drinks at the counter. I asked for the bartenders' favorites and ended up with a 0.5L of the Summer Lager (recommend) and a 0.5L of the Hefeweizen (VERY banana forward). I really enjoyed both and the price was reasonable. A lot of people complain about the 18% mandatory gratuity, but it's pretty clearly stated eveyewhere. My recommendation is to use inKind for a discount (happy to elaborate). I paid via inKind with no issues at the end; they just need a card up front to hold the tab. Overall, I'd definitely come back to hang out with people. The UFC fight was on a TV too. The only hiccup is that the parking is quite tight.

We've been coming here for a while now and we really love it. It's a great spot with a great view. Food is pretty good, and not very pricey. Love the drinks, which are not just beer for those who don't drink beer. And even when not coming here I'm always good with grabbing a Prost six pack.

Google
I home brew German beers, because American hefeweißen just doesn't taste like Bavarian. Prost makes a proper Bavarian hefe.

Google
I understand it is a Brewery so I should have not expected much out of cocktails... Apparently, they are all premixed but if you like beers and know beers you will obviously enjoy it more. My BF wanted to check this place out, so we did as I lived 5 min down the road. It is a lot more kid friendly than I would have imagined but then again, I do not have kids so what do I know. I will say I surprisingly enjoyed their Lemon Chicken Bowl. It was okay tasting but yet felt so healthy. I do love lemon/lime, corn and onions so I kind of see why that tasted good to me.

Google
Beer is good. Food is good. Self serve, self bus, no table service. Prices are $7.50/beer then they have a 18% mandatory gratuity. Didn't seem very busy on Friday afternoon. I recommend just raise your prices 18% and delete the note, so the bartender would get better tips. This city likes to tip themselves on your behalf.

Google
This was an awesome place to unwind after a long day. The service was just over the top. The beer selection was extensive, and the staff was very helpful in helping to make a choice on what beers would be best. I also loved how easy it was to get to off the freeway. And if you happen to drop in on a nice day, the outside seating on the deck with large picnic tables was very relaxing while enjoying the sun!

Yelp
Fun brewery with a great patio (albeit right next the the highway), and good beers / NA options. They've got trivia on Tuesdays. Downside? Parking in this area is the worst, plan accordingly!
google avatar

Glenn T.

Yelp
Their bier is the best microbrew in the Denver area. The German feel is a great ambiance (long tables and sometimes a band). This location only has a food truck (not much variety).

Yelp
We have lived so close to Prost for years and I've avoided it like the plague because I don't like German beer. But we had friends over who love it and insisted it was a must try. I was so pleased to see that they had a bunch of non-German beers available cleverly listed under "rule breakers". I tried both the Blood Orange Gose and the Grapefruit Radler and they were both really yummy. The grapefruit radler was definitely my favorite of the two. My friends got the German biers and said the Pilsner and dunkel were their favorites. Huge plus the music they were playing was 10/10 and we were singing along to every song!! We weren't hungry so we didn't try any of the food, but have heard their stuff if really good and the other food we saw being ordered looked pretty tasty. Will definitely be back to try some along with some more of their tasty beers! We also heard that their beer is brewed at Avery in Boulder, which is another favorite of ours so it made sense we liked their beers so much.

Yelp
Stopped here for a beer after walking around and grabbing some food. I loved how open this brewery was. The woman behind the bar was nice and promptly served us a flight of all the beers we wanted to try. They had a good selection and every beer was great. Really crisp and full bodied. The merch looked good too! I would love to come back.

Yelp
Sitting outside on the patio is really nice - it was a hot day and there was some shade from umbrellas. The shade spots fill up quick tho so be ready for sun. The inside is nice too- large area with picnic tables. They did have 1 TV but I wouldn't go here to watch a game. They did have a little food window with pretzels and other small bites but we didn't get any. We got one of the brewery passports and this was one place on it so we got a "free" beer!
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
They add 18% tip and don't tell you for super average beers. No thank you. A cool bar otherwise with friendly service.

Yelp
Honestly have to update my review because I'm embarrassed by my childish palate of the one I left 7 years ago. I have finally matured it seems and very much enjoy the Prost beers, especially the Marzens and Dunkles. Enough to take a 12 pack home after spending some time here for Oktoberfest. Great patio and indoor area, lots of a space. They have food now which is nice. Pretzel was good, 4/5 wurst was good also a 4/5. German potato salad was amazing 100/5 and the slaw was bland with no flavor 0/5. Could have used some vinegar or something cuz it just tasted like cabbage and water not even any salt. Luckily that pot salad made up for it; it was so damn good. The fresh dill was on point. Will definitely come back. Great place to get some German beers if you're in the mood.

Yelp
Updating to include the boots. Comes out to about 68 oz I believe so I promise you they are bigger then you think. Very fun activity to enjoy responsibly! You need to put in a $45 deposit for a boot in case you break it.
google avatar

Yelp
Prost is one of my favorite spots to grab a drink! All of the beer (and seltzer) is amazing and the food is also extremely tasty. My favorite beer to date has been a recent blood orange beer! I've only had food once but it was so great and will definitely be getting a soft pretzel each time from now on! The soft pretzel was one of the best I've ever had! We also tried fingerling smashers and they were delicious as well. I wasn't super hungry or else I'd have ordered the doner kebab!! I'm addition to the food and drinks, the view of the city is also super great!

Yelp
Walked in on a Thursday afternoon for a refreshing, authentic German Hefeweizen. I wasn't disappointed! It was just like I was back in Germany! The tasting room is spacious and looks like it could have been taken right out of Bavaria. The service was friendly and quick!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for beers. Love that this spot is dog friendly (indoors and outdoors). We loved their fries, and the Grapefruit radler boot was awesome.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Phenomenal dunkel weizen, perfectly balanced, malty, and just the right banana taste!
google avatar

Ciaran L.

Yelp
Saw there was a German restaurant and brewery in town so we had to stop by. The decor and ambiance was very similar to what we'd see at a German beer hall with fest tables everywhere and German decor all around. The beer was almost all German beer. And it was great. They had a German food truck outside the main door and was pretty good as well.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Stopped in to try some German style beers and was certainly not disappointed! They have build your own flights which is great. The brewery was spacious with plenty of seating inside and outside.
google avatar

Sam J.

Yelp
Great selection of beers! Staff is so helping with trying samples and open to helping grow your taste in beer. Great patio that overlooks downtown and inside has tv's to watch the games on the weekend. Great spot for catch up with friends!
google avatar

Earl W.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Denver. Great inside beer hall with an awesome patio looking over downtown. They have German style food served out of a food truck that is delicious. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Louis N.

Yelp
Love this place! It is a great brewery right on the edge of LoHi next to Avanti. Really nice outdoor and indoor seating with a cool view of the city! The beer here is great and you can get flights and choose whichever beer you like for your flights. I came here a few months ago and the attached food truck was open - which was also delicious. The schnitzel was perfectly fried and the pretzel was great with a side of cheese and mustard! Great casual spot with co-workers or friends. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Went here on 3/25/23. Haven't been here in many years. Parking is horrible in that area. But the beer is good. They are dog friendly and has a good atmosphere for kids. They have a few TVs. They have a permanent food truck. Had a bratwurst. It was really good. While I was there I tried a few. I had the Vienna lager, winter lager and the dunkelweizen. Which here is the only place I've ever had a dunkelweizen where it was a half and half. Half Hefeweizen and half dunkel. All the beers were so good. Good size patio. Very friendly bartenders. Definitely recommend. Cheers!

Kevin A.

Yelp
18% mandatory service fee is a complete scam. All the bartenders are doing is pouring a beer. Not a lot of work. Then they have the audacity to turn the screen around to ask for more! Wow. Greedy little suckers. And they didn't even mention that there was an obscene tip already included! These people should work for Amway!
google avatar

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Really great beer and somewhat authentic German food. I really like this place. Not the typical brewery and has its own kind of vibe.
google avatar

Silena G.

Yelp
This place was great! I'm not a beer drinker so I was really excited to see they had cocktails. I had the elderberry mule and it was delicious. They have a food truck you can order from outside. We didn't eat from it but everything we saw walk past us looked delicious. Such a fun spot to hang out with friends.

Yelp
Before taking my friend to the airport, we drove a few minutes away from my apartment to Prost Brewing, which I've been eyeing FOREVER. It's right next to Avanti, which I frequent, and it's right off the freeway. Since it was late Monday afternoon, there was hardly anyone inside. We sat at some high tops with a barrel as a table (my favorite) and ordered beers and pretzels. Service is great. The pretzels were huge and sufficiently salted, properly paired with mustard. I don't know much about German beers, so I usually pick something light or ask the waiter or bartender. Looking around at the spaciousness and wonderful décor, I can see myself coming with a few more friends and having a wilder time. Can't wait!
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
Games and German beer... what more could you ask for? Loved the environment and the fun games they had to play. They also have hard seltzer for the non beer lovers! Would come back for the vibe and to try other beers and definitely a pretzel!

Ann S.

Yelp
Ho hum food not authentic but drinks are descent. Bathrooms are iffy as well. Service is great but not enough to go back
google avatar

Yelp
The place to go with your team!! Food is great and so are the drinks. Frozé is the absolute best.

Yelp
German hops! German beer! German done right! It's so hard to find German beers that are actually brewed with real German hops in the US. They do it right and you can TASTE it! It definitely brought back memories from our Germany trip a few years back. We loved it so much while visiting we went twice! Didn't manage the boot, but next time! Pröst! However, the women's restroom is so weird. It's like they haven't put up the stall walls yet- just 1 sink and 2 toilets in the same room. After drinking a few, I had flashbacks to Mexico, but luckily no one was charging for use hah.

Robert W.

Yelp
Great beer and a nice central location. Just not sure why they were blasting bad rap music. Didn't fit the German beer ambiance. Sunday afternoons should be for relaxing with good German beer not having your ears assaulted by night club music.

Brenda H.

Yelp
We went to the new Northglenn store last night, the food was good but the crushing noise in that place honestly what were they thinking? No one was talking because you could not hear someone sitting next to you. If we go back we will take out, such a shame, they put Texas Roadhouse to shame for the noise level.

Michael M.

Yelp
Amazing beers, wonderful food, superb ambiance. My new spot for beers and German inspired food. Try the frikadiller sliders, they are more north German or Danish style made into slides. Great eurofusion!
google avatar

Alessandra F.

Yelp
This place is a great spot to bring a group of friends. They have an outdoor area, huge indoor area with ample seating, and also have a smaller section outside to play ping pong. I ordered both beer and food and I wasn't too WOW'd. The wait was a bit long, but that's understandable for these times. The schnitzel sandwich I ordered from the truck was ok. It did have potential but the lemon aioli threw off the whole experience for me. The fries, though, were crispy and light! I also took a bite of the Mac n cheese my brother ordered and it was too much cheese. The atmosphere and brews were a go, the food was EH.
google avatar

Sharon T.

Yelp
Cool vibes, german beers and local brews make people coming here to hang out. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. On a hot 92 degree weather a cold brew is the best way to go and we brought voodoo donuts from outside that they allowed us to eat at the patio. Awesome drink selections and seating. The outdoor area was a great spot to enjoy complimentary wi-fi, food, drinks with friends and family. Surprisingly brought my kids and they were fine hanging out sitting and socializing. It's a family friendly place. Saw other families with their young kids and dog. Customer service was top notch and a great spot to bring your furry friend. The place is clean, location with the outdoor view was great. We didn't get to experience the indoor seating. but upon doing a quick look at the bar and the restroom, the place is very open and inviting. This place perhaps would be very packed if their weren't covid restriction. Everyone wore masks. I'm aware that this known Downtown district is the spot to visit and enjoy.

Yelp
The name says it all - this is a brewery that specializes in the more traditional styles of European beers. You can also find though some newer styles and even hard seltzer. My group shared a bunch and none of the beers were below average. Most were great! Add a =n outdoor seating area with a constant mist and you have a good time. Did I mention there was cornhole and a bunch of TVs too? I hope I get to come by here again and try more. Definitely kid friendly.
google avatar

Jazzmin L.

Yelp
This was my second visit to Prost, and I loved the experience. First off, this place has a great view of the city, an awesome outdoor patio to enjoy it, and a central location that makes it a quick walk from lots of other places. This time around we ordered the Döner and a bratwurst plate. Brat was very good (love their fries, too) but the Döner was pretty special. It had a lamb patty and super fresh tasting sauce and veg on top. I would absolutely recommend it if you're looking for something fresh, flavorful, and filling. We didn't get any beers this time around, but on our last trip we sampled a few different styles and it's got fantastic German-style beers as well. Gotta love a place that has it all!
google avatar

Cathy S.

Yelp
We went here after dinner one evening with friends . The beer was tasty, but not all of it was true to style. It is based on German beer. The food truck outside sold some mega pretzels that went with the beer wonderfully.
google avatar

Christopher G.

Yelp
Had such a bad experience in Highlands Rach I can't keep this a 4/5 star in good confidence.
google avatar

Meagan J.

Yelp
EXCELLENT: beer, cocktails, food, service, view. What more can I say? I guess I wish it had a bigger indoor space for when the weather isn't great, but that's my only complaint. Can't wait to hang out on the patio this summer!
google avatar

Sherry W.

Yelp
Great beer and pretzel. Beautiful view of downtown from all seats inside and outside. Parking is an issue, which is expected in this area. You order at the bar because they have no servers. We sat at the bar and didn't have to wait in the ordering line. Food is available from the attached food truck outside. You order and they text you to pick it up. They have 8oz beers, 17oz and 32.
google avatar

Jayson N.

Yelp
I've been to several breweries around Denver and Colorado and Prost was definitely the best I've visited in Colorado. My wife and I loved the location that offered a beautiful view of downtown Denver. The beer selection was excellent and the food menu was uncharacteristically fantastic with lots of German options to go with the German beer selection. We'll be back fosho.
google avatar

DeAngelo W.

Yelp
Good drank, amazing food, awesome vibes & Views! What more can you ask for? I've always driven by this place heading to other spots in the highlands. It's always packed with people on its outdoor patio which looks out to downtown. I ordered the Lemon & Elderberry seltzer to start. It was refreshing and the perfect drink for a warm day! For food I ordered a basket of fries with curry ketchup and Fondu. Both were equally delicious. The curry ketchup was the most intriguing though. I also ordered the Rueben which was PHENOMENAL. Overall the experience at Prost was A1! Highly recommend!

Laurence H.

Yelp
Good beer, nice space both inside and outside, dog-friendly and nice atmosphere. However, on more than one occasion, when the brewery was not crowded, the bartending staff was unfriendly, unhelpful and hostile to the point of being almost belligerent. Specifically, today, I asked for Prost's Northern German style lager (their description, as posted on its menu), and the surly bartender feigned ignorance. Even when I added "your Silver medal winner), the bartender saw fit to correct me that it is the Pilsner. When I asked about buying a tee shirt, he refused to show them to me. The place was almost empty at the time; he just did not want to serve or be helpful. I cannot help but think Prost may not welcome older patrons or, possibly, patrons of certain ethnic groups. With two other breweries nearly, why expose oneself to that type of treatment?

J W.

Yelp
Great German style beers and recently added a fantastic west coast style IPA as well as a really good pale ale.
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
Can get busy but it's a nice spot with good pretzels and kombucha. Outdoor seating is nice too if you want some sun.
google avatar

Bradley M.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I love Octoberfest. Came here a little too full and also had to be dd so I could only have a few small pours. This place has some great German beers. Really fresh and hit the spot since Octoberfest is still a ways off. The decor is perfect for German pub. Definitely happy we stopped by and would like to spend more time there on another visit.

Tay T.

Yelp
Loved the beer and loved the bartenders, super helpful in recommending styles to my palate. The Dunkel is killer

Pj M.

Yelp
Had the Doner Kebab and a pretzel. The lamb was moist and flavorful. The pretzel was to die for.
google avatar

Jeff B.

Yelp
Tried for the first time and had a good time. Beer was good and food was tasty. We went with the currywurst. Only downside is separate food and drink tabs, but no biggie.

Eric E.

Yelp
Killer food and beer. Maybe my favorite burger in town. Good spot for dogs. Definitely recommend
google avatar

Megan W.

Yelp
We love this neighborhood because we always come to Avanti when we're in Denver but due to restrictions, they were quite busy with a long line around the block to limit crowds indoors. We decided to walk over to Prost because we really enjoyed the brewery in Fort Collins. We had a nice, chill time here and had some good beers. The place is very similar to their brewery in Ft. Collins and we had a much better time than waiting in line elsewhere. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Gus E.

Yelp
$14 for a Reuben. Came with one slice of corned beef.... not impressed. Nothing like eating a bread sandwich

Steve N.

Yelp
Sitting inside ona cool Sunday afternoon This place is just right German influence on the brewery!
