Great place for kids and adult-kids. Plan on spending half a day. Cafe is good as well so parents can take a proper break.

This exhibition was fantastic—creative, interactive, and fun for both kids and adults! We had such a wonderful time exploring everything, and it was great to see how engaging it was for all ages. There were no long waits, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A truly enjoyable experience that I can highly recommend!

It's a nice place, quite relaxed to visit with your younger kids (probably 11 is the upper limit). Didn't get to experience the VR glasses as it was pretty busy in the Christmas season. We had a nice time. But for a place where it's all about kids engaging with various machines and tools, those tools could be better maintained. Some of them were not working as intended. Still, it was a nice family outing.

Proto is a very well functioning VR museum with a steampunk vibe. Lots of things to try and get excited about including working at a lamp assembly line, flying a bike and much more. Fun for kids, teens and adults all along. Even at the third time visit, after some years, it is nice.

PROTO Invention Factory in Tallinn is a fantastic museum for both adults and kids. You can easily spend the whole day playing, exploring, and discovering inventions. Fun, interactive, and educational — highly recommended

Here you can put on VR glasses and dive into interactive simulations — some let you grab objects using a joystick, while others involve holding pistols or similar devices for a more immersive experience. It’s a fascinating place for both kids and adults 😉 There are simulators for driving, flying, and shooting — and I really started to enjoy it by the end 😎 The staff were very pleasant, friendly, and supportive. They guide you through almost all the VR experiences, making it easy even for first-timers.

Proto Invention Factory is an absolute gem in Tallinn! The interactive exhibits, VR experiences, and hands-on activities make it exciting for both kids and adults. Everything is designed in a fun, educational way that sparks curiosity and creativity. We spent hours here and still felt like there was more to discover. It was a lot of people, so I wish there was a time limit for all attractions in order everyone can try it. My favorite attraction was ride on air balloon, it was fantastic!!! A must-visit for families and anyone who loves science, history, and a touch of imagination!
