Province

Dinner at Province was impressive. Every dish was thoughtful, creative, and packed with flavour. They took familiar Southeast Asian ingredients and transformed them into something fresh, exciting and delicious. The petai, usually a strong-smelling bean, was turned into a purée and blended perfectly with other ingredients — it really stood out in a good way! The team explained each dish with care, and it was clear how much heart went into the menu. Truly a memorable meal.

Excellent food quality and service. Can feel lots of thinking and design of the flavor, presentation, and ingredients. Really enjoy the dinner and would be happy to come again, especially for a family or friend reunion with a warm vibe.

What a find! Wife and I came for lunch for her birthday and we were so delighted by the meal. Very creative dishes and really well balanced and thought through. We left very satisfied and would really visit again after they launch the next menu. I highly recommend this place and we enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm of the team of young chefs.

a speakeasy fine dining restaurant which was slightly difficult to locate; however once inside, we really loved the chill yet cosy ambience. it was an enjoyable experience seeing components being put together right in front of us, then hearing the story & inspiration behind each dish. also found it pretty cool how the dishes were all made up of Southeast Asian ingredients, introducing a twist to otherwise familiar flavours and tastes. special thanks to the chefs for being attentive to my dietary restrictions and thoughtfully substituting certain ingredients so that i could enjoy my meal in peace without having to worry about a sudden allergy attack 😊

Had an amazing dinner here. It was a rare find a restaurant that reinvents local Asian flavours so creatively and so well. Chef JJ’s passion for food was infectious and chatting with him gave us a really great experience. It was a real treat understanding the techniques and thought process behind the dishes and also his adventures to rural parts of Thailand and Malaysia to source for ingredients

We had an amazing lunch here when I visited. They were very accommodating of my shellfish allergy, and made different dishes altogether for me. The chef and staff were very personable, and delivered a great meal. Definitely get reservations here!

Incredible experience. Singapore has great food, but this really is a must-try gem. Adorably tucked behind another restaurant, Province is an intimate chef’s table with a deliciously innovative menu and wonderful service from chefs who are so clearly passionate about food. My family and I had a meal here while visiting Singapore in February and are still talking about it! Each dish was a gastronomic delight with creative and harmonious flavour profiles, paired with interesting little explanations of the dish’s inspiration and how its ingredients were sourced. The dining counter fits maybe 8 people total all seated in one row, which allowed us to mingle with the other restaurant patrons. We really enjoyed chatting with them — since they were all fellow foodies, we got some great local hawker recommendations! Overall, Province was a trip highlight and I would highly recommend getting a reservation soon before they inevitably get recognized by the Michelin guide!
