Google
Really awesome brewery with many different beers to offer and a ton of seating! I remember going here when there was a wall just beyond the rolling stone game (idk the name of the game?) And the patio was just half of the parking lot. The expansion has been amazing to witness and the beers keep getting better! The food program is delicious too! 4 stars is due to the dirty table I unknowingly sat at and discovered later and the lack of flight options during this visit. They explained that they stopped flights due to some private events but I went at a time when it would have not been an issue at all so that was disappointing. Otherwise awesome brewery to visit!

Google
Pryes has a nice combo of atmosphere, good service and great beer. Pizza was a bit on the undercooked side, but still tasted good with solid ingredients. I love their beer selection, which is their main draw anyway. If you’re looking for a top shelf brewery near downtown, make your way over to Pryes soon!

Google
Pryes is a great brewery! Their beer is excellent (I particularly like the Monkey Bar!) and their pizza is pretty delicious too. The inside of the brewery is a huge and comfortable space, and their patio looks beautiful for the summertime. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the cities!

Google
I’m glad we found Pete’s Brewing. It’s a nice set up with a good amount of outdoor seating and a vast indoor space with games as well. The brews were great, nice selection. Ordering is all by QR code, and they bring it to you.

First time visited Pryes. Arrived late so it was dark outside, but there seemed to be a good seating area outdoors, with some nice chain of lamps hanging around. On a warmer day/time outside seating would be nice! Inside it was quite massive with lots of different seating alternatives except bar seating. Beer selection was really good, wide selection of styles, including at least one hard seltzer and a non alcoholic beer, all made by Pryes i belive. I tried a double pastry stout, maibock, fruited sour, a nordic pilsner and a wild ale (beer/wine hybrid). The pastry stout was a bit "too much" for me late in the evening, but great score on Untappd. All good beers in general but the one standing out for me was the hybrid beer Idyll Forest: Jardins Locaux Prairie Star 2024. I drink a lot of these types of beers in Europe and specially Belgium, and this was exceptionally good. I am always a little bit sceptical of US wild ale due to many tends to be high focus on being as sour/acidic as possible, but this was really balanced, smooth (even for the abv) and so refreshing! Also great and informative service from the guy at the bar (dont recall his name)! They also have a good variasion of food. You can order until 23:00 on a Saturday at least (1 hour before closing). I had some Elote fries which was nice. From what i recall they also have caesar salads, some aubergine dish ++ and pizzas. Its also possible to play the game Feather Ball/bowling (?).

Google
Large collection of beers with seasonal selections to choose from, they have a beer for everyone. The food is good, price is on the higher side for the quantity served. You can either order from your table or collect your drink from the counter. Service is slow as the place is huge and not enough servers for the space.

Google
4-5 stars. Great spacious atmosphere, good selection of beer, my favorite being the barrel aged imperial stout. Bavarian pretzel is easily one of the best (softest) and largest in the Twin cities with plenty of jalapeño cheese sauce. We’ve enjoyed the good selection of woodfire pizza in the past too. It’s fun to come watch people feather bowl. Only complaint is they don’t tend to offer a wheat beer which is my husband’s favorite. Prices on menu are upfront about their automatic 20% service fee.

Google
Taste heavily fruited sours. Tho both their smoothie style sours were delicious, the best had or could find in town this trip, still not quite what was hoping for, nowhere like a Drekker

Yelp
Very calm night because I went during the State Fair week, so there was no foot traffic. I love the atmosphere still, with the amount of tables and sitting area. My favorite was a small area with jenga and dice games. Wish they have card games as well cuz nothing beats drinks and cards. Tried their brews but didn't get a chance to try their food services. I can't wait to go back to Minnesota and see how lively it gets during an average night.

Yelp
There is a cool tap room with outside seating on the NE side of Minneapolis. Parking is not the greatest, so prepare to walk a block or two unless you Uber it. Their beers are certainly above average. They have something for everyone here. It's here for you: Malty, Hoppy, Sours, Dark, High ABV sippers. They also have a kitchen to order food. There are things really to comment on, but if you have a hankering for a gnoshable, you will be satisfied.I also noticed they have a bottle program. I picked up a couple of their BA Barleywines and a BA stout. They were well made. They were a bit higher priced than they should be, but I enjoyed them. Certainly worth the trip if you want to do some day drinking

Yelp
WE CAUGHT FESTIVAL PRICES, MINUS THE FESTIVAL While vacationing in M'polis, we visited Pryes unknowingly right before they were to have a festival. Unfortunately, we got hit with festival prices and paid $24 for two beers in PLASTIC cups. We felt ripped off! We weren't there for the festival and it hadn't yet started. For this, I deducted a star. Had we known it was going to be so expensive, we would have skipped it. Otherwise, it's a huge, attractive establishment with indoor and outdoor seating and I enjoyed one of their sour beers. Note: The riverwalk along the Mississippi is nearby and can be enjoyed in conjunction with a visit to Pryes, as we did afterwards.

Yelp
Pryes Brewing was an excellent change of pace for Steve and myself. We get a lot of IPA'S and unfortunately we wind up getting bored with some of them. We have had plenty of New England, East Coast and West Coast IPA'S but I never had a Midwest IPA before and I loved it. For this beer they used hops from the west Coast and malts from the east coast. This made a toned down and pleasantly smooth IPA that I felt was unique, memorable and enjoyable. Flavors to be on the lookout for with this lovely beer are hoppy, malty and sweet. The beer is very smooth and light bodied which I often have said and sought out many times before with our brewery adventures.

Yelp
I wish I lived closer to this brewery. Hands down has been one of my top favorite breweries in Minnesota ! Dog and family friendly, tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Pizza is hot and fresh. the staff was very helpful and kind when helping me decide what I wanted to order. Loved bringing the family and pups here .
google avatar

Yakun L.

Yelp
Love the beers here. Blood orange is my favorite. Orders can be made at the table via QR code, very convenient

Yelp
Fun brewery and a great place to hang out with friends and family! I had the royal peach sour ale that was good and then I had the pesto pizza and added sausage to it. The pizza was okay but it had a lot of cheese on it.
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
Had such a great time at Pryse! The real star was the food. Do you see how crispy the wings were? The pizza was also delicious, burrata and pep is such a good combo. I do wish the pizza was cooked a little longer though to provide some firmness of the bottom to hold however the food was absolutely delicious and I would order both again. The beer was also tasty! A little pricier coming out to $10 a beer, it's worth it for sure. We enjoyed sitting outside as there was tons of seating inside and outside. Come to Pryse! Visiting this brewery is great way to relax on an early fall day!

Yelp
Fun fact - my husband and I had our first date at Pryes Brewing and later got engaged there! We have visited many time, the most recent being this previous Saturday for a drink with a few friends. We do appreciate their large selections for drinks, catering to those who are GF as we all those seeking NA options. The outdoor seating is always plenty, although less used during cold seasons. One thing that always happens is upon walking inside, there are a couple tables in the area people line up to order. So every time, you find people in one or two long lines waiting when there are staff just waiting and sitting around, not wanting to stand between the tables to order at the other stations. And I have never seen staff wave or call people over, instead standing around chatting or on their phones. They have expanded their space since we started coming, we often see couples, families, friends, and more using the space which is lovely. One thing that is a drawback that prevents us from visiting sometimes, is the parking. If you are trying to attend an event at Pyres, you will very well not find a parking spot unless you circle for an hour or park far away. Putting lines on the street parking along the curbs would be very helpful to maximize parking spots. Pros are for sure their large selection of drinks, they allow doggies (outside only I think), their location right off the Mississippi river, the space, the environment that is appropriate for families to first dates, and that they have lots of seating and food. Cons are the parking and long lines. Recommend to check it out (not during an event for the first time unless you Uber/Lyft).

Yelp
Stop 6 on the Hundreds of Hops Tour New Year, New Passport! It's only been a few months since my last visit & everything from before is still accurate- so, I'll skip typing it all out. This time we didn't have food & spent $10.22 for 2 brews, after out BOGO discount. The Strawberry Amour Sour came in as a surprise win. I was hesitant but, when it's your free selection, why not take a little risk and step outside your box?!? The hubs had a blood orange pint - it was good... mine was better. I still really like the layout here & think one could easily & comfortably spend all day here- sipping brews, munching the bar menu, playing games & watching the fires

Yelp
Pryes Brewing is a great melding of excellent brews, good food, and cozy seating. We grabbed a table upstairs and used the QR code at the table to order drinks and food (multiple times). The Blood Orange Miraculum brew was a favorite. The subtle blood orange taste was enhanced by the malt of the beer. Lost Moon- a Russian Imperial Stout was another standout for a chilly March evening. All the brewery menu items were tasty- from the soft pretzel to the wings and waffle fries. The wings had a tasty dry rub and the pretzel was a favorite. We also sampled three of the wood fired pizzas. The Margherita was a classic that did not disappoint. If you like breweries- Pryes is a solid choice!

Yelp
Good place to come and chill with friend and family. Definitely love the outside and inside seating space. The inside is super big and a lot of places to sit. The service is good. They actually bring you your food and beer. The waffle fries were great! It was crispy and big. The sauce goes well with the fries. I would recommend the kids getting this! A good place for beer, although i dont drink, my coworkers love this beer place. Also they recommend it too!

Yelp
This is a great spot! Wonderful beers (and cider) and a great space. It gets busy though so try and go during less busy times if you aren't a fan of crowds. Parking can also sometimes be a challenge so be prepared for a bit of a walk. There's a wonderful selection of beers, we are always a fan of their IPAs and the pragmatic pils. Recently I tried one of their ciders and it is top notch! They serve food and they have games to play as well as a nice outdoor space.
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
One of the best breweries in terms of space, food options, and beer. The sours are nice, and their food is surprisingly good. The pizzas are on the smaller side, but overall the portions are pretty decent. They change their menu every few months, which is nice so I can try new options. The patio is super nice in the summer.
google avatar

Anna W.

Yelp
Very spacious brewery. My favorite spot is the corner with the closed off seating! I love that you can order more drinks from your table and they bring them over rather than having to get them. They have more sour options than most breweries in the area!
google avatar

Kimberly F.

Yelp
This place was very upscale for a brewery. It was clean and open with a perfect amount of lighting and decor. We wanted to watch the game so we sat near the TV. There were a variety of people who seemed to be enjoying themselves on a Saturday afternoon. It was very child friendly. We ordered flights and used the QR code to order food. Service was quick and friendly. We had zucchini fritters which I would have liked more zucchini in but if you like a kind of crunchy fritter it's perfect. We also shared a side salad and we both loved the fig vinaigrette. The final part of our meal was the Fungi pizza. We are both big mushroom fans and the crust was nice and crispy a great combination to go with our beer. My husband really enjoyed the mass hazeteria and blood orange, my favorite was the Royal peach beer. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't already.
google avatar

Sheri P.

Yelp
The outdoor seating isn't fancy, but it was very popular and very busy. A bit more laying outside would be great.
google avatar

Tori S.

Yelp
When looking for an outdoor space to hang out at, Pryes Brewing is always top of mind. Not only do they have free parking, but they have food and more than just beer options. I love how much outdoor seating there is. And I love being able to order from the table. I do wish they also brought waters/refilled waters at the table, but that's not a deal breaker. I would certainly recommend the Hooch Buch and one of the pizzas. A pizza would serve 1-2 people. We also ordered mini donuts; which I probably would get again. Just a note about parking - the lot and street fill quickly, so don't be afraid to circle once or twice.
google avatar

Ellie B.

Yelp
Stopped by Pryes with some friends on St Paddy's day and it was casual but busy! I got there around 12:45 and there wasn't a wait to order, but by 2pm it was a bit busier. I ordered the seasonal royal peach sour and LOVED it! There were also a raspberry and pineapple versions I would love to try! We ordered a few pizzas for our table to split and they were all tasty as well. Tons of parking and in a convenient close location to downtown, this may be my new fav brewery! I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Lexi L.

Yelp
Vibes vibes vibes-- the three reasons to go to Pryes. It has the cutest outdoor seating ever and the inside is MASSIVE (aka winter spot) This pretzel came with possibly the best dipping cheese I've ever had. The meatballs were dense, cheesy, and probably more falafel than meatball-like (but I kinda loved that). The margherita pizza was also delish! Didn't try the sausage pizza, but heard it was a solid option You don't go to a brewery for the food, but it still hit the spot Their beer list is extensive (even a non-beer drinker like me can appreciate). Given it's located right next to my gym, I'll probably be a regular in a couple months!
google avatar

Sue S.

Yelp
Chicken wings were so meaty and the rub was super yummy! We loved all the ciders and beers. Fun games on the patio!
google avatar

Holly E.

Yelp
My favorite brewery in Minneapolis! Here's my list of reasons why :) - You can order a half pour which I love so I can try a variety without having to do a flight or finish a full beer before trying something new - QR codes at every table for easy ordering and they deliver to your table. You can also go up to the bar. - Tons of seating options! Inside and outside. I've never had a problem finding a spot. - Ideal food menu (not just the local seasoned pretzels!) and the food is delicious! - Changing tables available in bathroom stalls for both moms and dads! That's not easy to find! - Dog friendly outside
google avatar

Angelique P.

Yelp
Service was good. Food was fine. Ambiance was good, a lot of seating indoor and outdoor.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Back again... I can't get enough of Pryes. This time, I can for their Tropical Party which was soooo fun. They had a live band (that sounded great). They were honestly a bit loud but what did I expect from a concert? I passed on a beer (this time...) and opted instead for food. I typically get their pizza, but this time I ordered the chicken tenders. I wasn't expecting much...but WOW. Actually some of the best chicken tenders I have ever had. They just melted in my mouth. I didn't expect to eat them all but...yeah I sure did. Plus it came with a ranch-esqe dressing that was just *chefs kiss*. Pryes you've done it again!
google avatar

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
Good beer, great location. When I am looking for a place to meet friends near Northeast Minneapolis this is one of my go to spots. ample seating indoors and outdoors, overlooking the river. They serve a wide variety of beers and I don't think I have ever had one I did not like. Excellent menu for a brewery as well. Esp love the wood fired pizza
google avatar

Nate B.

Yelp
Really nice place inside and out. Massive patio right across the street from the Mississippi River, with views of the water. Massive inside, with some books and crannies you may not notice unless you explore a bit. They have pizzas as well. Sort of a Surly vibe in the scope and newness of the place, but set up like a brewery, not a restaurant. Service is friendly, be aware that they have a service fee of some sort, in case you are surprised at the final price of your beers and/or food. Pryes does a nice job with a variety of styles, which is appreciated, however I've never been impressed with their execution of any given style, everything is always good, but nothing is great (sours, ipas, barrel aged beers, etc- all good l, but never a great version of a given style)
google avatar

Julie D.

Yelp
Pryes is a great brewery with ample indoor and outdoor seating. My favorite drinks here are the sours, especially the royal pineapple and raspberry. The flavors are fruity, not overly sweet, and the tartness is not overbearing. The indoor space is pretty industrial with ample seating and an open floor plan. A neat bonus is that they have feather bowling which is fun to try out. The outdoor seating is also nice. There are plenty of seats with a mix of shade and you get some nice views of the Mississippi River. The location does have a parking lot and ample street parking but it still can be challenging to find a spot some days - but it is worth it!
google avatar

Kasey S.

Yelp
My favorite brewery bands down. The atmosphere at the outdoor patio is so so cool. Plus they have feather bowling! Service is awesome and overall a great experience.
google avatar

Sydney R.

Yelp
This brewery has the GREATEST sours for those who don't like beer that tastes like beer! The raspberry is a classic but they have many this summer such as blueberry, peach, and pineapple. Their wood fire pizzas are to die for as well as anything else on the menu! Parking can be a little tricky but there are constantly people going in and out so spots always open up!
google avatar

Sydney S.

Yelp
Pryes Brewing is a staple in my life living in the Twin Cities! It's one of my favorite breweries out there. I love that it's walking distance from North Loop, or easy to drive to in Northeast. The inside is warm and woody, perfect for a winter's day. In the summer, they open up their patio so you can enjoy your beer and pizza outside with a view of the river. I especially love when they host little summer festivals here. The beer selection is consistently delicious. Their sours are some of my favorites in the Twin Cities. I love that they also have a rotation of seasonal flavors. I don't think I've had a beer from here that I didn't like! Their wood-fired pizza is also delicious. I love that you can get a nice meal and beer here and really enjoy the place without having to leave to get some food. Overall, this will continue to be a staple for me - and I highly recommend it!
google avatar

Tyler H.

Yelp
Good beer, nice location, friendly staff. One of the best breweries in Minnesota. Recommended
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
I love the space, and they recently expanded so that you can bring a group of friends and not worry about how difficult it will be to find a spot. The sours and wild wines are unique and what makes them stand out from other breweries, in my opinion. They also host a lot of events, my favorite of which was a drag show in NYE. The only thing that I don't like is that the servers often seem overworked and stressed, and are often in a bad mood when I go (and I go 2x a month, so pretty frequently). I hope they are being treated well!
google avatar

Karen A.

Yelp
We hosted a day-after wedding gathering for out of town guests. This brewery has great beer and many N/A options. What makes it stand out in addition to the tasty brews, is their food (which is a second thought at most breweries if they have food at al). Prys makes delicious homemade pizzas with flavorful topping combos. Also have salads and apps. It has a super cool vibe with handcrafted wood tables. And the staff, they are amazing.
google avatar

Ashlyn A.

Yelp
Pryes Brewing is a gem in Minneapolis! Their expansive venue accommodates groups of any size, with a rented event space for special occasions. The outdoor area offers stunning water views, enhancing the overall experience. With an extensive drink selection and a tempting food menu, Pryes Brewing ensures a memorable visit for every guest. Whether you're looking for a casual hangout or a special celebration, Pryes Brewing delivers top-notch hospitality and an unforgettable atmosphere. Don't miss out on this fantastic brewery!
google avatar

Phillip L.

Yelp
Big brewery, lots of inside and outside seating. Orange Creamsicle IPA is awesome! Tried the Blood Orange IPA and it was also good. Quick service.
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
Love the table side ordering and/or walk up beer service. It's nice to have options. Food service was quicker than stayed so that was a plus. Shop salad and a pizza were satisfying for two people accompanied by a couple draft beers.
google avatar

Shanelle S.

Yelp
Spacious brewery with corn hole and pizzas. Came here for a welcome reception and they had an area blocked off for us. It's a mix of indoor and outdoor space. There are QR codes where you can pay online and then have your food brought out to your table, or you can go up to the bar and provide your table number. They do have non-alcoholic drinks and kombucha. The pizzas are personal-sized and cut into four slices; you can easily share with another person still. Credit cards accepted. They have restrooms available in the back left hand side of the brewery. Attire is casual.
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
Like most breweries, kind of in a stand alone spot just north of downtown. It was relatively crowded but we were able to find a parking spot and a table (it was about 5-530pm though - not sure if it's more crowded later at night). I appreciated they had a really good selection of beers so seemed like something could appeal to anyone. There food is what really stood out though. They had a variety of apps (we tried the meatballs - amazing!) and pizzas. We had the pepperoni and burrito pizza which was also really good. It was just a little loud where we sat, but overall, really enjoyed it and would go again!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Pryes beer is good and all but their pizza is even better. Come for the beer stay for the pizza - you won't regret it! Perfect fired Napoleon style pizza! But in all seriousness - great atmosphere and friendly staff too! Way too many beers to rave about so drink them all or get a flight to try multiples!
google avatar

KJ O.

Yelp
This place easily makes it in my top 5 twin cities breweries. There's a good vibe every time I've been with something new on tap. There's a beer for everyone here. The beer tenders are always kind and know there stuff.
google avatar

Hnou V.

Yelp
They have expanded their patio space. You can bring your dog. I really love the interior and exterior space at this brewery. The bathrooms are also really nice. The beer selection is pretty diverse. You have stouts, sours, seltzers and more. They also offer NA options like sodas and teas. I really like their barrel aged Russian imperial stout. Their sours are on the more tart side but still very good. The lime seltzer tastes like Sprite. They also sell food here. You can order at the bar or from your table via QR code. I recommend the deep fried rice balls (arricini).
google avatar

Shaji K.

Yelp
Near closing time on a Tuesday night, decided to stop in for a quick beer after a walk near the water. Open location with a patio, bar seating, as well as tables all around inside. Ordered a pour of the Miraculum IPA ($8) - a malty citrus hop that's easy to sip on. Took the beer outside where they boast long tables and are dog-friendly for those stopping by with pups. There is a food menu here as well, but it looked like the kitchen was closed for the night. Straight forward taproom with plenty of to-go options as well.

Yelp
We've visited Pryes a few times, and it's always a great spot to meet with friends for a few beers and pizza. FOOD: The menu is mostly pizza, and they have a few imaginative options that are quite tasty. In our last visit, we got the wild mushroom and Calabrian pizzas. We quite enjoyed the Calabrian, and the wild mushroom was tasty although had a bit too much oil. Beers are always great, and they have fun seasonal options. SERVICE: Typically ordering is through a QR code and then brought to the table, which is very prompt. AMBIANCE: There is plenty of seating (and more upstairs) with games in the back. In the warmer months, they have plenty of seating outside and set up heaters when it gets a little colder. This is a great place to meet as a group, because they have many large tables. PARKING: There is plenty of parking around the building, but you are competing with the next door bouldering gym for parking so you sometimes might have to park on the street when it gets busy.
google avatar

Cole R.

Yelp
Fun, chill atmosphere. Beer was fantastic, had the barrel aged Lost Moon and loved it. Wood fire pizza also really hit the spot.
google avatar

Bill H.

Yelp
Pryes is great! Even though nobody seems to know how to pronounce their name (according to their website it's like "Prize".) Food is amazing, beer is great, if you're a sour fan their wild sours are out of this world. Their staff is awesome too. Honestly the only complaint I have is that their prices are not transparent. They add 20% to everything you buy. Granted you're not expected to tip because of this, but honestly I'd prefer they just tell me the price upfront. There's a certain air of sticker shock every time you get done a night here, granted, when you're not tipping it ends up being the same but I prefer up front price transparency over added fees when I ask for my check, even if it works out to the same in the end!
google avatar

Akshay R.

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is absolutely amazing and well maintained. They have a huge outdoor seating and it's a perfect place for a summer beer. They have a good list of beers and they have a menu too. The service is pretty quick. The food tasted good. Could be better but they have a pretty impressing menu.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere, but honestly don't love their beer. It's amazing to be able to come here after a climbing session at Minneapolis Bouldering Project. They have feather bowling as well which is super unique! I'd love to see more fruity, but not Sour flavors on their menu. The pizza they serve is good, but fairly expensive for the size.
google avatar

Jacob R.

Yelp
Hate beer, LOVE this place! I find myself here more often as the food and service is excellent! I don't like beer, but they do have kombucha and seltzers and THC drinks that are very good. Service is FAST! I love ordering using the table QR code, and the drinks and food is there in mins. The wood fired pizza is excellent- pepperoni and burrata is my fav but I tried the garlic bread last night and that's a new fav. We love bringing games to play but they also have games there!

Yelp
My husband and I came here for a quick beer on a Saturday afternoon. It was at about 2 pm. There were multiple businesses in the area so parking was very scarce. Yes there was a big lot but took a while to find a spot. Inside it appears it's 2 floors, we didn't go upstairs though so I don't know how large it is. I had the 2 hazy beers. I liked the mass haze tiria the best.
