I wanted to get some breakfast food since I had not eaten, it was now about 1 PM. My money so I will buy breakfast and, there is no rule when you are buying your own meal. But anyway! My plus one yelled out hotdogs!!! I'm down but I am not going to Ben's, I wanted something different. pulled out YELP and searched.
P.S. Burgers was on the list and not too far from Franklin Square. Hopped in the Jeep and headed over, 13 minutes we're here. I found parking, paid the meter, walked over and passed by it because I saw the Boba tea and thought they were connected. Any who! Stepped in and saw that it wasn't crowded. My first thought was cafeteria second, thought was Post office. I looked around, the aesthetics greatly reminded me of the post office because the pictures that are on the wall greatly resembles stamps. If you looked at stamps all day, every day, you'd get what I am saying. Look at the pics of the dining area!
This casual dressing, family-friendly, so kind of come as you are, if you are in a three-piece suit and in the mood for a burger go home, change and come back.
Viewed the menu, questioned and ordered. Carol was the young lady taking orders and would be the same person to bring our food and take our tray when were finished. Carol provided excellent customer service and answered questions when needed. She is very focused, pleasant, and customer driven.
Since we are first timers, we ordered the same thing, a foot long chili dog with cheese and onion rings. This may be my plus one's first chili dog; she ate it with a fork and knife cutting inches away and complained because it was falling apart. Me, I did the common thing, I man handled that footlong. (pause) It was really tasty, everything proportion well, chili, chili beans, and cheese. All provided a great taste, and the dog was not greasy. The onion rings were pretty good and not greasy. The best thing about the onion rings, it came with a homemade zesty sauce. That is the only way to eat onion rings- imo.
I think I found a new place for hotdogs! That being said...
