I wanted to get some breakfast food since I had not eaten, it was now about 1 PM. My money so I will buy breakfast at one, there is no rule when you are buying your own meal. But anyway! My plus one yelled out hotdogs!!! I'm down but I am not going to Ben's, I wanted something different. pulled out YELP and searched. P.S. Burgers was on the list and not too far from Franklin Square. Hopped in the Jeep and headed over, 13 minutes we're here. I found parking, paid the meter, walked over and passed by it because I saw the Boba tea and thought they were connected. Any who! Stepped in and saw that it wasn't crowded. My first thought was cafeteria second thought was Post office. I looked around, the aesthetics greatly reminded me of the post office because the pictures that are on the wall greatly resembles stamps. If you looked at stamps all day, every day, you'd get what I am saying. Look at the pics of the dining area! This casual dressing family-friendly so kind of come as you are if you are in a three-piece suit and in the mood for a burger go home, change and come back. Viewed the menu, questioned and ordered. Carol was the young lady taking orders and would be the same person to bring our food and take our tray when were finished. Carol provided excellent customer service and answered questions when needed. She' s is very focused, pleasant, and customer driven. Since we are first timers, we ordered the same thing, a foot long chili dog with cheese and onion rings. This may be her first time; she ate it with a fork and knife cutting inches away and complained because it was falling apart. Me, I did the common thing, I man handled that footlong. (pause) It was really tasty, everything proportion well, chili, chili beans, and cheese. All provided a great taste, and the dog was not greasy. The onion rings were pretty good and not greasy. The best thing about the onion rings it came with a homemade zesty sauce. That is the only way to eat onion rings imo. I think I found a new place for hotdogs!

Google
Being from queens, we don’t have good burger spots left. We came here for a doctor appointment and found this diamond in plain sight! The options are endless, the burgers are thick, the ingredients are fresh! The service is friendly and familiar to the area (something about personal friendly service is different). The price is good and absolutely worth it!!! The burgers were perfect, a little charcoal taste with a lot of character :). It is definitely worth the trip just for the burgers. Thank you for the excellent experience we’ll see you again soon.

Google
P.S. Burgers is a clean establishment with friendly service. I ordered a regular burger with cheese, fries, and a chocolate milkshake to go. It took a little longer for my order than I expected, but that could be because I have frequented too many fast food restaurants. I could tell they use high-quality meat, but my burger was cooked far beyond well done, so it didn't taste good. Next time, I will know to ask for it to be cooked medium. The fries were excellent and a large serving that I could not finish them. The milkshake, while freshly made, had too much chocolate flavoring for my taste and was too thin.

Google
Chicken wings and fries, served with hot sauce, ranch dressing, and a hot aioli. It wasn't very busy at 2 pm but there was a good amount of foot traffic and the food came out pretty quickly. Wings were delicious, cooked crispy, and moist. I'll definitely be back to try the burgers, they looked amazing. In fact, I was pissed I didn't order the Bison burger. Next time! 3.7.25, tried the burgers, and they were awesome. In fact, everything we tried was excellent. This place is worth it!

Google
I order from here weekly. Love the burgers and love the salad. Have never once had a bad experience. Been ordering from here for at least 8 years.

Google
Shout Out to Franco for taking and delivering this order to NYU Langone ASU Dept... Six people ordered and everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you for paying attention to detail for this order and the special requests. Thank you for the great packaging for each combo. We will definitely continue to order with P.S. Burger because you stand out from the rest, so that makes you the BEST!!!!

Google
Got a take out. At home we were shocked how GOOD the burgers were. I got Canadian with the veal. So much flavor, it's insane! The burgers seem to be priced well below their quality and size which are just superb. Will definitely be back for more! The staff/owner is very nice as well.

Google
Delivery on their site doesn't work, but Uber eats did a quick delivery to my hotel. I got the bison burger with fried pickles. The pickles were thick but crispy - my favorite! Burger totally hit the spot on a cold January night after travel and business meetings. Will definitely do PS Burger again for a quick bite when I'm in the area.

Yelp
I recently visited P.S. Burgers in Mineola with my plus one, and we both ordered their chili dogs with a side of onion rings. It was my first time ever having a chili dog, and it turned out to be a great choice. The chili dog was huge. I definitely had to cut it into smaller pieces (don't judge!), but it was incredibly delicious. The onion rings were perfectly crispy and flavorful, a great complement to the meal. I also had a root beer, which made the whole combo even better. The service and the young lady was very friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly, and she made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was relaxed and very casual. It felt clean, comfortable, and inviting, with a laid back vibe perfect for a quick bite or a casual meal. The P.S. Burgers made my first chili dog experience a memorable one. Great food, crispy onion rings, solid service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd would like to return!

Yelp
I finally took the opportunity to stop by P. S. Burgers. I ordered a medium well cheeseburger with cheddar, sautéed onions, lettuce and tomato. Added a bit of mayo and ketchup. (My burger don't judge me). It was absolutely delicious. Burger cooked just right, it was juicy, flavorful and visually pleasing. Sorry forgot to take a pic. Our order taker was personable, she smiled and was patient as we were first timers and decisions had to be made. She ended up being our server as well. Her overall customer service is A1. The place has pretty simple decor. However, there are some very detailed and tasteful art pieces on the wall. Great to look at while waiting for you order to be prepared. I will definitely return. My son enjoys a good burger so I'll take him and try something else on the menu. The table next to me had a tasty looking meal so I'm looking forward to a second visit.

Yelp
I enjoyed the burger! It was such a treat. Super delicious. The price was on the higher side but I didn't mind spending it because of the delicious taste of the burger. I got the veggie patty with pesto sauce and caramelized onions. Sweet potato fries were made to perfection. Staff were super nice. Bathroom was clean.

Alex B.

Yelp
Got a pickup order, asked to sub fries for the sweet fries that were shown in the picture. Not only did they not sub out the fries, they charged me 6$+ for sweet fries I didn't even want to begin with. Had the bison burger. It was good but undercooked for medium.

Yelp
Great burgers and fries Looked empty and wasn't sure if I wanted to go in checked the reviews and it did not disappoint. I ate inside one day and got take out another. The combo burgers come with fries and have great options

Brigitte S.

Yelp
Food is good got a burger with mushrooms and onions butt there's a weird smell in there when you walk in

Yelp
Great Place. Lots of choices. My favorite is a Cheddar Burger with a Fried Egg. You can't miss it. It's around the corner from Spaghettini in Mineola.

Bshorty924 ..

Yelp
Has gone a little down hill over the years. Much better when it first opened up. Never cooked the way we asked for.

Yelp
Very clean place to eat. French fries is my favorite! They make it very special. The cashier is a kind gentleman and I liked him. We ate inside, and even they brought the food for us on the table ( which is kind). Thank you !

Yelp
Our family has been coming here for a couple of years now. This place never disappoints!! Burgers are consistently delicious. Customer service is always friendly. Eating there is cozy. Our go-to burger spot!

Yelp
A friend and I decided to get burgers from PS Burger for dinner last night. I've tried most of the burger places around Westbury / Garden City but this was my first time here. Place is located right next to Winthrop Hospital. It's pretty small inside with tables on the perimeter of the place. No one was dining in and we just got our order to go. I got the Texas Burger Combo ($10.25) and my friend got the Hawaiian. Total for both combos was $23.08; ultra reasonable in my book. I sat down to eat and the first good sign for me was that they gave a lot of fries. Fries were nothing too special but did have a decent body to them and weren't too thin or anything. The burger itself was very solid. It wasn't huge but wasn't tiny. Burger was decently juicy and had a good amount of flavor from the bacon and BBQ sauce. I'd say it was a non fast food burger done right. I was very happy with my experience overall and I think this is my kind of place because they seem to have the fundamentals down (quality and quantity of food, prices). Hopefully I'll continue to have good things to say if I come back in the future.

Yelp
Super unassuming from the outside. Simple with an expansive menu. I got the PS skirt steak sandwich, served on a focaccia roll (with rosemary) a red pepper aioli and arugula. Soft toasted bread with tender strips of skirt steak was a definite winner. Hubby got PS Texas burger with bbq sauce on the side. Yummy burger too. Our only qualm was that the fries had that starch coating on them to make them crispy.
google avatar

Caitlyn M.

Yelp
P.S. Burgers is absolutely amazing! Their burgers are awesome, and the fries are so crispy and tasty! Don't get me started on their onion rings. I've never had a bad experience with them or their food. If you love burgers, P.S. Burgers is the spot!

Yelp
My other half and I were contemplating where to get a good burger for dinner tonight. Should we stick with the usual good ones? Shake Shack? Try a new place? We ended up going with the latter and found PS Burgers on Yelp, then went ahead with it since they have a whopping 4 star rating. We ordered 2 bison burgers and regular fries and used the 10% discount for checking in. All for $23 you say?! Must be too good to be true. Well, I got home, opened up the burger to examine the "bison" patty and found it to be perfectly round and perfectly flat - I thought: must be frozen. Indeed, it was. I bit into it and it tasted like cardboard. It was dry and resembled nothing like bison! Even worse, my multigrain bread was just as dry and hard, so I was basically eating cardboard on cardboard. When you thought it couldn't get any worse, the fries were horrible. They were greasy, dry and dark, like they were deep fried in old oil. The meal really ruined it for me, on a beautiful Friday night. One star for the friendly guy who picked up the phone, but that's the only positive comment I have. *Drops mic*

Yelp
We ordered 5 burgers and paid $70. Then their is fly in one of burgers. Just expecting a little more from high end burger joint. Please see my pictures of fly added for extra protein. I called and they offered another burger. No thanks.

Yelp
Burger was alright but frankly underwhelming/overcooked for the price. Restaurant was very clean and service was pleasant.

Yelp
I've ordered takeout for over a year about once a week. Great burgers and food at very reasonable prices. Consistent with great on time delivery with correct order and food never lets u down. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Dry pattie and to be honest very over priced paid about $20 for what you see. The actual beef was dry the bun was too big salad idk what was going on but they need to step it up. Restaurant inside was run down place seems to have potential but needs lot of help

Yelp
Cock roach in my food. Mgr could not have cared less. Said "it happens". Well maybe in some places....didnt even offer a refund. Think you might want to skip roach burger of Mineola.

Yelp
Amazing food great service. Would come Back anytime. My daughter loved it and staff was amazing

Yelp
Great burgers and fries. Kids enjoyed the churros as well. Definitely coming back for more.

Yelp
Nice little burger place with a good amount of seating and conveniently located near the LIRR and Winthrop Hospital. It can take a while for them to get your order ready. I think I waited 15 minutes for mine. I had the PS Paris combo which comes with fries, chipotle sauce, and a burger with spinach, gruyere, fried egg, and bacon. The burger was decent and the fries were good and crispy. The portion size is pretty big. You get a lot of fries. Although service was a bit slow, it was friendly. One of the employees (which I think was the manager) noticed that I didn't order a drink and offered to get me water.
google avatar

Sabina M.

Yelp
Off the chain Good! Automatic point for crispy and perfectly fried sweet potatoes french fries. Burgers are fresh and made to order but the best part is you can choose from different ground meats if need, turkey, bison, lamb, and even salmon. Try the salads. If you're not into sauces, definitely have it served on the side so you can put as little or as much as you like. To complete the meal I tried the churros and I am in love. They were right of the fryer crispy with a good tossing of cinnamon sugar.
google avatar

Duayne D.

Yelp
Had the Buenos Aires burger and onion rings. Burger, C+ Rings, A Burger was a bit dry and slightly overcooked from the medium I ordered. The patty wasn't much better than a Wendy's (which I like). The brioche bun was good and the red onion was a nice touch. Too much chopped lettuce though. Onion rings (+.45) were great: Hot, crispy, well-battered and plentiful. Overall, not bad, with decent prices, but since I don't eat fried food that often nothing compelling me to go back.

Bruce G.

Yelp
What a phenomenal burger! I stopped in quickly waiting for the train, and the food did not disappoint!! I had their bacon cheese burger, fries, and their special sauce and it brought me back to my youth with summer bbq's. Hopefully I will be stopping back into Mineola soon so I can revisit this restaurant. Thanks again for great meal PS Burgers!!!
google avatar

Maya S.

Yelp
LITERALLY the BEST burger I have ever eaten. Place is very clean and has many seats, they always have good music on. The guy and girl at the front were so kind. After they brought my food out to me, I have never dug in so fast in my life. 10/10
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
I enjoyed the Paris burger on my gluten free bun last night! I don't know why I didn't come to this spot sooner. PS Burger is a small casual burger place, no table service necessary. You order at the counter from their extensive salad, burger, and sandwich menu. I was shocked with how many creative burger combinations they offered. I went with the Paris burger which had bacon, honey Dijon mustard, and gruyere cheese. I forgot to let the cashier know how I wanted my burger cooked and she didn't ask, so it ended up cooking well done and a little dry. But that's my own fault. Other than that, it was super stacked and filling, but I didn't leave feeling gross like I would have at other burger places. The employees are friendly, and there are loyalty programs and Yelp offers here when you check in. Street parking was difficult to find but I can't wait to come back and try something new!

Yelp
Came here with my husband for dinner around 7 on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. We both agreed that this place is better than Shake Shack and Smashburger. If you're looking for a fresh, quick, delicious burger and fries joint, look no further! They have everything here from sides & appetizers, to burgers, sandwiches & hot dogs, soups & salads, shakes & desserts and even wine & beer. Not to mention, the bottle of sriracha sauce at each table at your disposal. The staff were friendly, helpful and make recommendations upon request. I opted for the P.S. skirt steak sandwich while my husband got the bison burger and we also got a side of french fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings to share. The burger and sandwich were both cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. And the sides were freshly fried and perfectly seasoned, I especially love the sweet potato fries! Everything was simply delicious and we have no complaints. There are plenty of metered parking spaces nearby and free after 6 pm. We'll be back again to try the other P.S. signature burgers and sandwiches whenever we need a burger fix.

Kevin N.

Yelp
Turkey burgers was excellent. Owners are very kind and generous. Will definitely order again.

Daniel D.

Yelp
Always great food! Been going here for years now! The service is always top notch, and it's a nice small place!
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
Small place in Mineola... only a few tables, so not the best for a big group. I would say no more than four people. They have a variety of burger choices, from beef, bison, turkey, veggie to chicken burgers. You can create your own burger or choose from a list they created. The burgers are cooked well. I understand they do that for safety reasons but I like my burgers red! These burgers are too over cooked for me. If you get a lot of toppings, it masked the burnt burger. If you like well done burgers, then you'll love them. The sweet potato and regular fries are great! They come with a chipotle ranch sauce and you can pay extra for other sauces. Um.... the desserts are incredible!! I'm definitely coming back for desserts! Chocolate brownie salad with ice and Caramel sauce is amazing! And the churros are also amazing!!!

Jackie L.

Yelp
One the better I had in a while, the service was great and the overall experience of the restaurant was amazing. The burger was very tasty and delicious. Definitely worth trying .

Newkema H.

Yelp
Listen. Very rarely do I take the time out to write about a spot. The burgers cooked to perfection. They have specialty burgers for ppl that love toppings. I had the Rio de Janeiro, awesome. I get on my son all the time for closing his eyes when he eats a burger. I went here for lunch with my co worker. She said I closed my eyes.
google avatar

Yelp
Good burgers. We ordered the Mexican burger, Salmon burger , burger w/ caramelized onions, fried egg, bacon and cheddar on focaccia and finally Gruyère fries. Burgers were cooked good. My mother is a very picky eater and she said the Salmon burger was good, so believe me if she said it was good it has to be good. The Mexican was good but not as spicy as expected. The built burger was very good. Lastly the fries the truffle oil was prevalent throughout which was delicious the Gruyère was good and a decent amount on the fries.
google avatar

Pete D.

Yelp
I love everything about this great burger joint. Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Feel like they could open other locations and compete with the Burgerfi & 5 Guys of the burger world. I work in the area and loved it so much I brought the family there for a nice Winter-Break lunch. Combo burgers are fantastic (I'm partial to the Venice Burger [pesto, caramelized onions, Gorgonzola cheese]) My wife loved their fries and special dipping sauce. Kids loved the chocolate shakes!
google avatar

Lourdes M.

Yelp
PS Burger offers signature sandwiches named after a famous city or favorite place. There are many options of the breads and meat of your choice. I picked pretzel bun and bison meat. Oh my goodness! The best burger in town. Tasty. Juicy. Tender. PS Paris was what I had. Who wouldn't want a meal with a combination of meat, vegetable and fried egg? I had potato on the side , greasy but crunchy. A little pricy for my combo meal but worth it. By the way, I used their online ordering system, I was few minutes early on my scheduled pick up but still got my meal on time. Nice small place for short meal time. You'll see frame of different city landmark posted on the wall. Makes sense as having it as the decor. They did not give me hard time in claiming my yelp's 10% discount voucher .

Yelp
My new Yelp bud Michael, his RoTD brought me here! (Love Yelp) Simply put, outstanding hamburger Garden City. It's picture perfect with its tree lined streets, tudors and high end shopping. Its the Southampton of Nassau county. Head north on Franklin Ave and cross Old Country Road? Its skanky Nassau county, cement everywhere and it's just yuckky looking. When you go over the bridge, get ready to enter Burger Nirvana. Because... P.S. Theres a new burger place in town. P.S. Burger! Off the beaten path on the right is the restaurant. It's very small but cute place to have lunch. (gotta search for parking meters on the street) I walk in and see all the menu choices, patty choices, topping choices, french fry choices. Choices! I choose the P.S. Venice burger with pesto sauce, mushrooms, gorgonzola on a toasted brioche bun. A-mazing! I also did the upgrade to the truffle fries. Something to point out (Which is the 5 stars above the rest of the burger places) As Americans, if we get a starter before our meal, we'd order nachos & cheese. And load them up with ground beef, salsa, sour cream, guacamole. Its what we do! French Canadians (My wifes family background) has something similar called Poutine. What FC do is, they'll take French Fries (OMG, I KNOW the folks in France hate this) and load them up with a bunch of fun but fattening toppings. Brown gravy is the OG dish but then they stared adding beef, cheeses, etc.. What I had here with the Gruyere cheese and truffle oil was sinfully good. (Just like Poutine) So, A juicy, sexy burger with a side of great fries? Make this place in my book the "best" burger I had in the area. I'll be back to try "everything"!!
google avatar

Lawrence C.

Yelp
Near the Mineola Court and Winthrop Hospital. Street parking nearby. P.S. Signature Burger the Venice. Caramalized onions, mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese, and pesto sauce. Bun n toppings terrific. French fries were flavored and delicious. The burger was just ok, otherwise this place would have hit it out of the park. The burger was just overshadowed by everything else. Maybe needed less cooking (served well done) and maybe should be an ounce or two larger. Great cashier kids. Nice seating and seating at the window for two (the best seats in the house). Sriracha sauce on the side w traditional ketchup & mustard added a nice touch along with spicy mayo for the french fries. It was a great experience. With some tweaking this place could make The Ultimate Burger!
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
Awesome Long Island burger joint. Had the PS Mexico burger (avocado, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle sauce) with a side of Gruyere Fries (OMG). Burger had so much flavor, but I wasn't fond of the bun. It wasn't soft and would tear off before biting into the burger. Kinda hard to explain. Gruyere fries were really unique. Everyone was super nice. Even though there's no waitress service, someone came over to bring my food and checked on me a few minutes into my meal. Would definitely go back

Edna H.

Yelp
Love it! Super friendly staff and VERY fairly priced. The burger was super filling and good. Fries were some of my favorites I've had. If you're looking for a quick standard burger go here instead of a fast food chain.
google avatar

Joi H.

Yelp
Big Mistake! The Mac and cheese was horrible. It was sooo bad. They should take off the menu.
google avatar

Kelly F.

Yelp
Yummy made-to-order burgers and fries, walking distance from the hospital if you're ever looking for lunch/dinner while in the area. Decent menu options avail and service was on point!

Jason G.

Yelp
Everything was very good. The bun made this the best tasting hot dog I think I've ever had (yes they have sauerkraut). The place was very clean. This is probably the first place that I've been to that had a urethane counter that my elbows didn't stick to even slightly. The owner is obviously a clean freak. The place was impeccably clean. Even the credit card screen looked like it was just wiped. If all places were this clean, I'd definitely go out more. Parking was easy.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Overall it's not a bad place. It's clean and the burgers are pretty big. I got the P.S. Hawaii and substituted the american cheese with provolone, free of charge. It came with fries and was $9.95. The fries were really good and the chipotle dipping sauce paired really nicely with the fries. As for the burger itself, it was a bit too spicy for me and it had too much mayo. It was also pretty greasy so I got tired of it when I was halfway through. I probably could've saved half of the burger for lunch the next day cuz it was a decent sized burger. I did like how it had onion rings in it and pineapples. It gave the burger a unique taste.
google avatar

Angelo B.

Yelp
Just a sad underwhelming burger... Had a cheeseburger with bacon, the Burger was a flat disk that seemed to have been frozen. Pretty much no flavor at all. It was almost as if I was eating a bacon and cheese sandwhich. Had to add their tasty chipolte sauce that comes with the fries(fries are actually good!) To give it some type of flavor. The kids loved the chipotle sauce, so its not really spicy...just a little tiny kick. the chicken sandwich was also pretty bland. Sad, because I've heard great things, and the menu description makes it sound delicious.

Wendy G.

Yelp
I went in with four friends and the most amazing PS Canada burger, Texas burger, Paris burger and Brazilian burger that came with fries and onion rings . We also had the best milkshakes ,churros and fried ice cream. If burgers aren't your favorite they offer vegetarian and vegan options. I highly recommend PS Burger!
google avatar

Lee M.

Yelp
Someone liked my original review today from over a year ago. I am updating just to say that it saddens me that many of my YELP friends seem to be fond of of their food yet no one from P.S. ever reached out to me to offer even modicum of service recovery!

Yelp
Love to support local businesses and always down for a good burger and shake. This place is ok it's very small has a good selection of choices but the food was just ok
