Yelp
What a wonderful, family-home dining experience. This eatery, serving authentic Cambodian/Vietnamese+ fare, is family owned and run. The grandmother, who speaks very little English, takes your order. If additional help is needed, the kind mother shows up to assist. Her little toddler was in a playpen in the back of the restaurant, making sure restaurant operations were to his satisfaction ;). He was adorable. Pretty sure the father was in the kitchen. 3 generations trying to make sure you had a great, family-cooked meal, lol. And they succeeded. My friends and I ordered Pho's with oxtail and with Beef Ribs, Fried Chicken wings, and Beef Skewers. She said the wings "would be a few extra minutes to make fresh". The Pho's came out first and, as always with Pho, we had to let the fresh noodles soften and loosen up in the broth for a few minutes before they're ready to eat. In the meantime, we pull the fresh Thai Basil and Mint and smell the broth. The broth was so very very good. Oh, and the amount of bone-in oxtail and bone-in beef ribs in each of our soups was ridiculously generous. No skimping on the protein here. Once we dug in to the Pho's, we didn't say much to each other for quite a bit as we slurped, grunted, and hmmm'ed our approval of the fare. Then the skewers and fried chicken showed up. The wings were fried to perfection: crispy outside, juicy and piping hot on the inside. Some of the best wings, period. The skewers were simple, tender, flavorful, delish. The whole time the mother kept coming 'round to check if we needed anything. We could only shake our heads around our full mouths. We finished off our meals with Thai Iced Teas and Taro boba drinks for dessert. I can't wait to come back and try other things, but it'll be hard not to want to order the exact same dishes again. This is the reason why you look for and support these local, family-owned places. No corporate, cookie-cutter experiences with this kind of food. It's like going to someone's house for a family cooked meal, with the entire family there present taking care of you.
