Love this place. Small and cozy, they don't call it "petit" for nothing. Food, desserts, and drinks are fantastic. Great selections of wines too. Best of all, the staff is friendly and attentive (someone please give him a raise!)

Very courteous staff. Beautiful decor. Lots of bottles of wine and champagne to buy and drink on the spot or take home. Speaking of take home, all food ordered here comes in to go boxes but you can eat it on the premises. Same goes for the coffee. It's a bit quirky but apparently it's a neighborhood licensing issue. But the ambience makes up for it. Be sure to admire the huge slices of cake on display and if you're feeling like splurging (those are per slice prices) I'm sure they are delicious.

Slightly disappointing. The decor is excellent and the staff were very nice, but the quality of the food and the pricing were really off. It's positioned as a 'petit' version of the regular PS Cafe so they serve everything in 'to go' packaging (boxed sandwiches, coffee in cardboard). That, in itself, is fine, but the prices remain as high as the dine-in experience at a 'normal' PS Cafe. If I'm drinking from a to-go cup and eating out of a bag I'd expect the price to reflect this. What's worse is the "bunwich" options were not very good at all. Sausage and onion in a bap sounds excellent but the sausage skin was so thick it was inedible, and there was so much sauce it was off-putting. Beautiful building and decor but disappointing food and pricing.

Chic, fashionable, yet cozy. The gentleman behind the counter was friendlier than anyone I encountered on our trek to Tiong Bahru! I ordered an iced tea at 5:30pm realizing only after the first sip it was caffeinated. He was kind enough to brew me a lemongrass herbal tea and put it over ice for me instead while I waited for my insanely delicious impossible meatball pizza... We couldn't resist having a slice while we waited for our grab home.

Fancy place but disappointed. I came here with high expectations but it certainly didn’t meet mine. I understand the covid is going on hence they are serving dine-in takeaway boxes and cups but for what I am paying there, I’m sure they can do more than that. It’s a mess eating with so many boxes around. The food are pretty average. I tired the chicken Cesar wrap and taste a little bland, truffle fries were soggy because covered in box, garlic bread is unique but taste average. The flat white coffee I had is nice. For the price I paid, I think there are more real cafe at that location with better food and ambience. Nevertheless, you can try coming this place have a coffee, have a look.

Actually PS Cafe cover lot of places in Singapore mostly in shopping mall. But Tiong Bahru branch is uniquely situate at the residential area. It is a small place only can cater about 20 customers in one time. You need to take queue during peak period. I was sitting in one corner with a window view. The sight outside the shop is so senenity, tranquility and calm. You can often see someone walking dog and people walking by. With the warm heat outside the window and the cool air inside the shop. With a piece of cake and a cup of caffeine and 1 or 2 friends chatting . It feel so relaxing.

Came here for a quick dinner with my partner. The ambiance of the place was great - very nicely decorated, classy and quiet. Service was also great, but unfortunately I can't say the same for the food. My partner ordered a pizza, which was fine, while I ordered the shrimp/crab pasta. Apparently it was the most popular dish they had, but the chef really didn't do the shrimp and the crab who had to be killed to make that any justice. There was barely any taste to it at all - the pasta:sauce ratio was easily 3:1 and I couldn't taste anything beyond plain pasta. I added salt, Tabasco, chilli... every condiment I could find, really, and it was still unpalatable. That was a huge disappointment on its own. Moreover, it cost me close to $30 and there was barely any shrimp nor any crab. It looked terribly unappetising - which was amplified by the fact that we were served the pasta in a takeaway box. Apparently it's their thing to serve food in takeaway boxes, and honestly I think Pizza looks fine, but having that served in the takeaway container made me feel like I was having Pastamania or even Bak Chor Mee instead of $~30 pasta. Given the taste of it, I'd really rather have gotten mediocre $4 Bak Chor Mee over this. My partner has been to other P.S. Cafe outlets, and she commented that the standard was so different and it really wasn't supposed to taste or look like that. She said the shrimps were too small and pathetic - especially considering there were easily only 5 pieces of shrimp tops. However I must say that the impeccable service made up for it - they promptly voided my order, issued me a refund even though the cashier didn't provide a receipt, and also gave us two glasses of wine on the house to make up for the bad pasta. They were very polite, very nice about it and asked us for our feedback so they could improve it. Honestly, the service saved our impression of the restaurant, after that attempt at a pasta dish. Would have given 4 stars solely for the service, but we personally dislike the takeaway presentation as well: diluted the entire ambiance and decor of the cafe. The cafe was stylish and classy (and so was the price), but neither the food nor the presentation matched up.

Google
Nice looking place, cosy atmosphere. Learnt from the friendly staff that this place only offered to-go because of licensing issues in the past, but continued with the concept till current times. Food are all served in takeaway boxes/bowls even when eating there, which is just a theme with the cafe because the tables in the cafe itself are labelled "takeaway waiting area". Even the menu is called the "takeaway menu" when eating there, which confused me a little initially. Personally I have no issues with the "takeaway" concept, but I skipped the burger because I'd rather eat a burger with proper utensils. Note that you might want to pick a bigger table if you're going to have the pizza because the pizza box is going to need a lot of table space. Because of this takeaway style concept, food items are all net pricing, with no service charge. This was a pleasant surprise for me. Price is a little high, but food quantity is quite generous and quality is mostly good. Really liked the truffle fries (half portion is good enough for 2pax) and bolognese pizza. However the shrimp and crab pasta was a little too bland for my liking. Overall a good experience, would visit again.

Yelp
Food is terrible. Had the spaghetti Bolognaise. Comes served in throw away or takeaway plastic box sitting atop the noodles below. Doesn't taste good at all. Then have to get own cutlery and napkins. Then have to throw everything into the bin on the way out. No service and spaghetti bolognaise was $25++. Duh!

Yelp
Good food, cute store, but a lot of waste which is terrible for the environment! I understand it's the store's "concept" to be takeout only, but when people plan to dine in, why not serve them with reusable dishes and cutlery?!?! When I asked, they said it's all they have

Yelp
If I'm spending $5.50 on a latte, could I get it in an adult cup -a real cup, made from porcelain? After discovering this I sat to find out they don't have wifi either! A coffee/wine shop without wifi? What? Cute atmosphere otherwise. Do you serve wine in cups as well?

Yelp
I'd assumed that all booze in Singapore was a total rip off until I was taken here for an afternoon "snack". I'd died and gone to wino heaven when I saw the beautiful shelves of wine from around the world at very reasonable prices. A lot of it comes from Australian producers I know quite well. When I worked out the conversion rate and mark up it seemed cheaper than what I'd get back at home in a restaurant... and there's the trick... P.S isn't exactly a restaurant. It's essentially a bottle shop, so prices have tax included in the price and there's no service charge added. Awesome! Either take a bottle home, or if you want to sit and drink it there you can order a "take away" lunch or dinner from the menu and eat it from the cardboard containers. We snacked on a giant cone of fries liberally dosed in salt, truffle and cheese (I think it was Pecorino) and washed them down with glasses of Australian Riesling for a mere $8 per glass! We might have accidentally shared a slice of the super zesty key lime pie too. Oops.

Yelp
The service for PS cafe is terrible. I will never go back because service is important for a good meal experience

Yelp
I'm undoubtedly a fan. They have a broad range of wines available as well, so you can pop in, get a pizza, a salad, and a bottle of wine to complete your dinner for the evening. (They're also open for lunch, but I'm not sure if a bottle of wine makes for good post-lunch productivity.) The majority of the pizzas here are just awesome. The Biachi Funghi, a mushroom with truffle cream white pizza is delicious. Earthy, rich, savoury, I think I'd be able to finish this myself. The Fennel Sausage and Breakfast pizza are also both delicious and highly recommended. The pizzas definite must be eaten hot, and when they are, they're gooey, delicious, and wonderful. I've gone to PS.Cafe Petit more times than I can remember, whether for lunch, or to grab a pizza to bring home, or just for a salad when I'm not inclined to all the local food on offer in the area. This is possibly one of the most underrated pizza joints in Singapore, and while I wouldn't say it's better than Mozza, I can't say it's worse either. My one lament is that they discontinued their Puttanesca pizza, an anchovy-tuna umami bomb on dough. WHY PS.CAFE PETIT TEAM. WHY DO YOU HATE ME.

Yelp
This is meant to be a take-out joint for pizza which explains the limited tables and chairs inside the store. Despite also being a test kitchen for PS Cafe, it is beautifully decorated with chrome, faux brick and black wood paneling. The menu is written on the chalkboard and has a wall full of wine to go along with the pizzas. The selection is simple. Purely pizza and 1 salad option. As it is not a full fledged cafe or restaurant, they are not allowed to serve food on plates and cups etc. The pizza came in a box and drinks are in a take-away plastic or paper cups. Plastic cutlery and napkins are provided if you wish to have a quick meal on the premises. But seriously, the place is not meant dining in. If you want to eat there, it will be better to either come at non peak (read lunch or dinner hours). It is definitely a very nice place to wait for your pizza to be ready and have a drink or so while waiting. There is a small selection of gigantic muffins for sale too. They look temptingly delicious. The four cheese porcini was very good, just out of the oven and made with fresh ingredients. The salad with blueberries, pine nuts, wolfberries, sunflower seeds etc was equally to die for. I love the freshness of the food. I am not sure if the pizza will hold up well if you need to travel for long as the steam will usually make pizza a bit soggy after a while. But this is a great find for fantastic pizza for those living in the Tiong Bahru area.

Yelp
Well, this place hit the spot for me. A colleague of mine was leaving the company, so we did lunch here on her last day. I've tried their pastas in the past, and although they're delicious, I found them a bit small portion-wise. I decided to try their panini and now I'm in love. I ordered the veggie Morrocan, which comprises of portabello mushrooms, eggplant, and zucchini along with some cheese and other spices. It had beautiful grill marks and they used thin, flat bread. It was pricy at $14, but at least I felt full afterwards! If you're dining with a friend, I do recommend splitting one of the pizzas. The all day breakfast one looks hangover worthy as it has 2 fried eggs on top, and judging from the rest of my colleagues' orders, anything with meat looks appetizing. They also offer baked goods and ice cream. I won't lie; I indulged myself by having a scoop of their apple crumble ice cream. It was amazing and worth $6 plus the Jillian Michaels kickboxing exercise video I had to suffer through after I got home from work! The ambiance here is top notch. Dark, marble interiors surrounded by affordable wine bottles that tempt you to do a boozy lunch. What's not to love? Well, in the past, this used to be a takeaway spot, but now they have seating available.... Yet they still want to emphasize their takeaway roots by serving everything in takeaway containers. I think this just generates more excessive waste if you plan on eating in. Just invest in some real plates and silverware already, you guys can obviously afford it!

Yelp
Not much to add that hasn't been already said about this delightful little hole in the wall cellar/pizza place.... Great pizza ( we ummed and ahhed but eventually opted for the bolognaise with a side of chilli- excellent!...) In fact...the pizza was soooo good I decided it really needed a glass of red to accompany it.... if only they sold a selection of good quality wine by the glass......they do? Brilliant! Now wouldn't it be great if we could just offset the cheesey/carby/oily middle aged pizza angst/guilt with a fresh salad? We can? Double brilliant!!! Now its off to Drips for one of those guilt free brownies and a fat free hot chocolate to finish off the carb fest night

Yelp
Blackforest steam cake ($18) - 5 stars Loved this one! The chocolate cake was nice and moist but not very chocolate-y. Good if you want a cake you can eat all of, but sometimes I'm in the mood for a richer cake. The cherries were delicious too. Dark chocolate banana cheesecake ($15) - 3.5 stars Tasted like your regular banana cake/loaf but it was more of a banana cream/mousse cake. I prefer the regular kind, which is more of a cake! Marmalade bread and butter pudding cake ($16) - 3 stars This had been out for a couple of hours before I had it and it was too dry. Warning though: cakes are expensive! Prices are from Deliveroo since my friend ordered through them.

Yelp
Ok, if it's any indication of how big a fan I am, I've been here approximately 4 times in slightly over a month ever since Josh T. introduced me to this place. (Giving credit where credit is due) It's located near my workplace (10 minutes at a moderate walking pace) and I've been making trips here for spontaneous dinners after work, or when I have an hour or so to burn. I've tried the garlic flatbread, the TRUFFLE garlic flatbread, the fennel sausage pizza, the caesar salad, the chicken rossa penne and 2 flavors of ice cream (hazelnut and some other one that I can't remember offhand). The garlic flatbread comes in thin triangular slices, almost like a thin-crust pizza, and is very very garlicky and satisfying, though the portion is huge for one. Even with 2 we were stuffed. Best shared amongst a group of 4 (there are 8 slices). The truffle version was good but I didn't think it was worth the additional $4. The pizza was unique and the kurobuta pork and fennel sausages complemented each other nicely. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes and the tomato was strong in this one. I felt that the crust, while thin, could be less dense and doughy. Pizzeria Mozza is still my preferred place when it comes to pizzas in general, but this is a worthy competitor. The chicken rossa penne was ok, again the tomato was strong in this one. Al dente penne is served in a tomato-cream sauce with what I thought was a pile of melted cheese on the top (but the menu mentions spinach, chicken and mushrooms). They serve their stuff in takeaway boxes, with the pasta separate from the dressing, so you have to pour in the sauce yourself. The pasta itself was nicely cooked but this dish failed to impress. Their ice cream is $6, a tad pricey but the first time I was there, I was given two huge scoops (I smiled nicely). It was delicious, smooth and creamy with the distinct taste of hazelnut. The second time was also good but not as wonderful as the first (I suspect this is why I can't remember what I ate). Oh and it says "takeaway" everywhere but there are actually enough seats for about 15 people inside. And a clean toilet.

Yelp
First time here, we walked in and was greeted with the usual "for 3"? Was told to pick any table and order at the cashier without realizing it's a takeaway only place. Eric didn't explain either. When order arrived, I asked for an additional box realizing they likely don't have plates so my daughter could share the food without spilling all over but Eric was reluctant to give us an additional box. I wouldn't come back again to a place where customers are made to beg for an additional box which I doubt would be a difference in profit or loss. Setting expectations is key and the situations could've been dealt with much better.

Yelp
I love PS cafe downtown. So when one opened in Tiong Bahru, I was very happy about it. Finally went to check it out with a Friend. Take away menu only. Okieeeeeee ... Then what's with all the nice nice places to sit and the pretty pretty deco? Anyways... Was given a seat, given the menu, and was told to go order at the counter. Which is all well and good - a lot of cafes does that. Menu is kinda basic, don't expect a lot to choose from. And after paying, was told that I had to collect my food as well. Okieeeeee... Bear in mind the kind of prices you are paying .... Order pizza, a salad, a cuppa coffee and a juice. When I went to collect the food, all were in paper boxes.... But ok, they did say take away only. The salad came in the box and we were suppose to share so I went to ask for another box. I was told that they don't give any more boxes. was the expression on my face. Went to take two paper cups to use as container to share out the salad. Not the most environmentally friendly kinda place. And for the a-bit-above-average-cafe-prices that you are paying, I think it's only right to expect a wee bit more. That said, if you are willing to pay that price for take away only, you are in luck, because the food is decent. I liked their pizza but the whole experience really put me off. If I wanna go back to a PS cafe, will go to the one downtown.

Yelp
$40 (tax included, no service charge) for a good salad and a good pizza in Singapore is unheard of. Their ice cream is also good and the wine doesn't look overpriced. I suppose I should eat in HDB estates more often. Their lower rents seem to enable them to charge less for good food. Need to try the other restaurants in this area which look good also.
google avatar

Jonah L.

Yelp
Conversely from other P.S. Cafés, the service here is pretty bad. I know that there's no service charge, and it's supposed to be a quick service restaurant (I'm trying to withhold using the term fast food joint here), but the utter nonchalance and bluntness of the staff here is ludicrous. Staffers are supposed to stand aside/make way for customers when they're walking through, but not here. I live nearby and patronize the cafe relatively often, and I always observe them trying to boss their way around, forcing customers to either bump into them or give way. Needless to say I wasn't going to let them push me around, but the experiences I've had were really unpleasant. The positives - truffle fries here are great, and are their pizzas. But my favorite has gotta be the Pullman's panini. Juicy chunks of chicken with mustard pressed between a cheesy and crisp panini, it's one of my favorite sandwiches around. I prefer the food here compared to the full restaurants, which tend to sometimes be over complicated, as they are simple, fast, and tasty. Overall, quite the opposite from the main restaurants. In both a good and bad way.

Yelp
This place was great for a late night pizza when we first arrived in Singapore. We tried many places throughout Tiong Bahru, but this was probably our favorite. The pizza is delicious and made to order. Wine and beer are reasonably priced and they have a nice selection of different types of wine and craft beers. Overall a great experience topped off with a great caramel topped cake dessert. Yum!

Yelp
Love Petit's recent extension - it's turned it into a swanky hideaway that's fitting for a quiet casual gathering amongst friends. A glass of wine, pizzas to share and ice cream afterwards makes it the ideal venue to enjoy some of the best that the PS. brand has to offer. It's the smokey, crisp and slightly chewy crust is what makes the pizzas from PS. Petit stand out. The service can vary when they get busy, but the upside is - there's no service charge.
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
We did a drive-by pick up and ordered: Four Cheese Pizza - hubby ordered this and I tried a couple of bites. I'm really not that impressed with pizza taste actually. The pizza come with Chilli Paste, not chili flakes. Interesting... Hubby commented it's actually nicer with the Chilli paste. That's not saying very much for the taste of the pizza. Crust is not bad, pretty thin and crusty. Spaghetti Bolognese - daughter liked it enough but I tried a mouthful and it was only so-so. Not a dish to go there for. Chicken Cream Pasta - I actually forgot the actual name on the menu but the taste is unforgettable!! To me, the pizza and spag bolognese are only so-so in truth and this pasta dish with chicken chunks really made the entire trip to hunt down PS. Cafe Petit. For the records, we are SO not going back any time soon.

Yelp
Had a simple Margarita pizza for 22, big enough for my boyfriend and I to share. I loved it! The decor of th cafe is so new york, black subway tiles and lots of mirrors. The concept is take-away, but I loved being in there and didn't want to leave! Also had a Dai Dai ipa for 14 bottled. I will go back for the extensive wine selection and to try some other eats.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Really good food! The staff is so nice, too. I ate here a few times during my 2 week stay in Singapore and will eat there again when I return!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Honestly, better than Mozza here in Singapore. Classy, friendly and great pizzas. Absolutely perfect texture and chewiness in the crust, delectable and amazing creations and combinations. Awesome wines to go with it- ensuring you to have an amazing "high class" pizza night. Don't miss the great baked goods. This branch is the hub for all of the delectable and scrumptious pastries that are delivered throughout the island... so make sure to snatch up some amazing new and creative desserts while visiting! Bravo!
google avatar

Mia N.

Yelp
Love the interior because it transports me of to a secret hideout in New York. Food and drink wise, they are kept to pizzas and sandwiches and more tea cakes. Food that goes well with wine or coffee, get the drift? As usual, prices at ps cafe would be lovely at -20% but when there's demand, why bother?
google avatar

Ezza S.

Yelp
Perfect after work spot to have a glass of wine from a fantastic selection while you wait for delicious takeout.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Cautious upon entering but very pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality of food, albeit in takeaway form. The pizza is the best we've had in Singapore and the pasta was close too. Excellent service to round out the experience.

Anna O.

Yelp
I am so excited PS.Cafe opened in my hood! Granted it's only a take-out place, it's great to have great pizza, and many bottles of wine available for purchase. In the usual PS.Cafe style, there are also very limited seats available should you choose to dine there.
