I had a lovely lunch today! I am dog sitting and I remembered this place looked like they had a dog friendly patio. They had a great view of the water and the city! They have a whole dog menu too! I was really pleased with everything and I am so grateful they have Apple Pay now too! I got the shrimp tacos which the server recommended and they were the best shrimp tacos I’ve had in a long time! You can tell the kitchen cares about the food they send out. I got the pup just some carrots and he enjoyed snacking on them while I had my tacos it was great to have something to give him while I ate my food!

We visited this pub based on a recommendation by our hotel staff that had great gluten free options. We were a group of 6 and were seated outside with a great view. Our food we ordered was delicious. Our server started off great then was less than pleasent. We were very impressed with him taking our order all by memory (then repeating it back properly). However as he came out in the middle of our tables discussions, he promptly stated "I'm trans, I want to be addressed as she/her." Ironically enough, our conversation had nothing to do with him, trans or any other LGBTQIA+ people. Why he decided to share this with us we have no idea. Interestingly enough, there was no problem with him forcing us to tip him 18% because we had a group of 6 people. If I'm ever back in Seattle, I will most likely avoid Pub70 because of this experience. Our table could have cared less about this person wanted to identify as, we just wanted our lunch.

By far my most favorite spot to chill and hang with friends in Seattle. The staff are amazing and will treat you like loyalty. Also, the food is very delicious at a five star rating! Must recommend this place to anyone who is touring our city! (Especially to all you MTV real world fans!)

Google
Chill bar restaurant with nice water views. Ordered nachos chilaquiles-style and while the toppings were fresh, the sauce could’ve been a bit more saucy. The chips absorbed the sauce quickly so it left it a bit dry. Other than that, ordered a Stella on tap and the service was pretty good. The girls behind the bar could be a bit more attentive as I noticed another patron come in and sit next to us and was not noticed(ignored?) for quite while because the girls were talking about personal things. Might come back to try more food options.

Food was decent and a nice break to rest our feet after touring the space needle and museums. Right on the water. Locally owned. Was a bit short staffed so took a while to have our orders taken but everything was smooth sailing from there.

A scenic place to sit in front of water and enjoy the food! Food we ordered was tasty too! We ordered Veggie Killer Burger, Tater Tots, Chicken wings and Calamari. Good service too!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tried PUB 70 for takeout and it did not disappoint! The fish tacos were super fresh with just the right crunch — you could really taste the quality. The beef sliders were juicy and flavorful, perfect bite-sized comfort food. And don’t even get me started on the sweet potato fries — crispy, sweet, and addictive! Everything was well-packed and still warm when I got home. Great spot with solid portions and delicious food. Will definitely be back for more!

Google
Food so good my taste buds will be yearning for the taste of it until the end of time. The BBQ Bacon Burger is exquisite, it's huge but it was so good that it was gone in minutes. The pineapple upside down cake was so delicious I shall never experience another taste this delectable for decades to come. Great customer service too.

Yelp
If you want a power tripping snippy server who also lies, then this is the place for you! Three of us came in around 3:15PM after a wonderful summer work outing/party. We looked-up nearby places in the area that had a happy hour because we were looking for a small bite. We had been there many times when it was under previous ownership. We first looked around the bar and wandered to the seating area that was empty except for one table. A man seemed uptight as we didn't see the "wait to be seated" sign and asked us how many in our party, it was obviously three and he said we could sit anywhere. He then asked for our ID's. We said seriously? It was odd considering we are all in our 50s/60's. As we were showing our IDs he said something like are you coming from the Cruiseships? We said no Cruiseships are in town today, we came from a cool work outing. We then ordered drinks. He came back for our food order but we didn't see any Happy Hour menue in the menue or on the table. We asked him about the happy hour menue and he said "we don't do Happy Hour here" I said that we saw it online. Then he backtracked and said "oh, I guess you can order off the online menue if you like". After he left, all three of us seriously thought about getting up and leaving right there and then. When he came back to get our order, we were so frustrated, we all said "no thanks". He soon came back and said he was leaving for the day so we asked for the bill. Our friend covered the bill. It was around $30 and she gave him a $100 bill. He asked if she wanted any change. How insulting! I said, "are you serious?". He said he was trying to be funny. I said "We didn't think that was funny". He came back with a 50, 20 and a few 1's. If he wanted a tip, we thought he could have broken the 20. By this time, we had it with him! My friend said if we were going to be treated like old people, then we'll leave an old people tip and she left him a $1.25 tip. After he picked up his tip, he sat at the booth behind us where someone was doing paperwork to count his tips. He made a big gesture putting his thumbs up way up in the air above the booth seats. He then hung around the place for another half of an hour milling around. Again, weird since he said he was leaving. An absolute jerk the whole time! Maybe he's used to serving people who are only in town for the day so he gets away with being rude to everyone. After he finially left. We ordered another round and food. We complained to our server about our previous experience but she didn't seem to be to concerned. It was awkward from then on as she came by our table 15 times. Not sure if she was tying to be anoying or just overcompensating. My turn to pay and I left a 25% or more tip. None of us will ever return and we will spread the word throughout our very large place of employment. Ugh!

Yelp
Absolutely love love this pub/bar! Excellent service. String pours. Great tap list. Excellent vibes. I love the location. A bit away from the main crowds. But definitely cruise business is back. They have an amazing waterfront patio too. Please wait to be seated. It's prime real estate. Solid food always too. Thanks for being awesome. SYOY!

Yelp
My husband and I went here for dinner on a Friday night, and the location was pretty full, but we didn't have to wait long! The servers were so nice and had great energy. The sliders were pretty good, and my husband enjoyed the Pub 70 burger. The server didn't ask how he wanted his burger done, but it was about medium done so it was perfect for him! Whoever was controlling the music had a great playlist, real 70s rock vibe. The only thing was our drinks took a long time, they arrived after our food already came. My husband's huckleberry cider was already flat. Overall real comfy vibe for a casual meal! You can never go wrong with a great view from the pier

Yelp
Came for dinner on a Monday--restaurant was pretty mellow compared to how it probably is on weekends. There was one server working and she was fantastic and attentive. We went straight into our meal and ordered the birria tacos and a burger + fries. The food was excellent. The birria tacos are some of the best I've ever had, and I've had plenty, being from Southern California. The guacamole was great and the consomé itself was rich and so good. My boyfriend's burger was cooked great and we loved the pickled onions. My only comment about the place is that after tip, a casual dinner for two ended up around $60 for tacos and a burger. I understand cost of living is high but thinking about it, it seems a bit steep. Also didn't love that fries cost extra and didn't come with the burger. However, we're telling ourselves it was worth it due to the quality of food.

Yelp
The patio is great to be by the water and the drinks were amazing. The food was not bad. It's just that for me, most of what I had lacked flavor. The loaded tots were good, but the tots themselves didn't seem to have much seasoning. The ceviche was really good though! Perfect amount of freshness and citrus notes. The blackened fish tacos and the crab cakes both lacked flavor. The breading on the fish tacos was quite bland and the crab cakes without the spicy aioli also seemed bland. Service was amazing though and if they just kicked up the seasoning a bit I think it could really be a standout place.

Yelp
Great place by the water. We visited for lunch and found it to be a good place. I liked the location, they have onsite paid parking that is pretty tight but nice to have on site. Note that the parking is attached but to get to it, it feels like you are driving on the sidewalk! =) Service was great and food was good. Our waiter was very attentive and knew the menu well.

Yelp
Sat outside on a nice summer evening, ordered beers and got loaded tots to share- more than enough of a snack for 2 people. Service and food were alright, but the vibes of the place were weird. There was a dog wandering around inside and outside of the restaurant off leash. A guy who I assume was the dog's owner would follow the dog around making very loud comments about the dog to the other restaurant patrons. This continued for the better part of half an hour, and none of the staff addressed it. I get having a dog at the restaurant, but letting it wander around people's tables for that long was weird, not to mention the dog's owner also following it around to visit tables. I couldn't tell if the dog's owner was part of the staff, the restaurant owner, or just someone off the street.

Yelp
Came here after a run to grab a quick bite. Everything on the menu looked so good. Was so disappointed when it came out because all of it tasted so bland. Had to add in some salt and pepper for it to taste a bit better. Went home and air fryed the garlic fries and it tasted way better. The cheese wasn't really sticking on to the noodles so it just tasted like boiled noodles. The crumbs on top of the mac and cheese help elevate the dish more. The service was awesome! The lady helping was so kind and even though she was busy, she made sure I got everything I ordered. Another dude came by too and gave me my sauces + to go boxes. Shoutout to them for being so busy and still being attentive.

Yelp
If you want rude service and a snotty attitude go on a Sunday and see the bartender who's name begins with an H. I used to love going here. Nicole, one of the other bartenders is amazing, but the H person is there all the time. Food is mediocre. Unfortunately for the restaurant they put a bike lane out front. So, the only parking is the parking lot near by that is expensive and always crowded now that a new company has moved in upstairs. I probably won't be going back, and would not recommend it to anyone at this point until they make some staff changes.
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
We stopped here a couple times when visiting Seattle and staying on the wharf. It's a great place to grab a burger and a beer. The bartender and our servers were prompt and friendly. Food was tasty. You can sit by the water or inside.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food esp the blackened fish and shrimp tacos. Great location, too. Service was a bit inconsistent.
google avatar

J W.

Yelp
It was mediocre. The menu has a long string of disclaimers that I can't see serving any purpose but lowering your expectations. Service was extremely slow. Food for four people included 1 pretty good, 3 decent reviews, and one appetizer that was a miss on multiple levels. The best thing it had going was that it was far enough away from cruise traffic... but lunch still took over an hour for no real reason. The people were nice, though.

Yelp
Great service! Location is great, by the waterfront and near the Olympic Sculpture garden. Super dog-friendly and food and drinks are delicious. The dog menu is a great touch!

Marci M.

Yelp
Vampires beware. These garlic fries sizzle!! Loaded with copious amounts of garlic; will not disappoint!!

Jay B.

Yelp
Sat at the bar on a Sunday. Had to wait a LONG time to get served even then. Bartender with an H name was totally rude and snobby. Don't know why someone would hire her. Food was mediocre at best. Not going back. Oh...and they put a bike lan out front and there's no parking except in a garage which is expensive and always full. Too bad as I had gone before and enjoyed it. It's always that one bad apple

Yelp
This pub was such a pleasant surprise! The interior is nice, and it's located right on the water for awesome views. The server was super kind. The Birria tacos were surprisingly good (I usually don't expect much for pub food). And best of all, the bar area seating inside is dog friendly! Plus they have a dog-specific menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Terrific!! Atmosphere was great; the drink I had was an apple cider mule, so good! Very hard to not drink it fas. I had the fish tacos they were very tasty and my husband had nachos which were also great. Well worth the price.

Yelp
Waited 1 hour to get our food and 2 orders were wrong and when we notified the waitress about it she stated the kitchen staff were acting up today! We asked for the manager and she stated that she wasn't there tonight!! Took another 30 min for them to fix the orders.
google avatar

Yelp
I am so happy that our family was able to find this gem! We have several food restrictions and being able to enjoy the majority of the menu at this restaurant is by far the best! The service is excellent! Love the restaurant feel, welcoming and perfect spots to enjoy the view of the water or the possible trains. The dishes are super tasty and filling!

Yelp
My first time at Pub 70, dropped in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The weather was great and the patio was full. I usually sit at the bar when I'm alone and even though I could tell the bartender was slammed, she was still super friendly and provided great service. I had to try the Birria Tacos once I saw the photo on the menu and they were so good. Located next to Olympic Sculpture Park, this is a great location away from all the crowds. I highly recommend the walk along the Waterfront to get there if you are visiting from out of town.

Yelp
Not cool to wear a gore t-shirt with blood and skulls while serving food. Not to mention the food was awful. No one was thrilled with their food but choked it down if they could. Our server, who also appeared to be tending the bar, took our order and seemed annoyed with a simple question about the menu. Someone else delivered the food then we had no one approach our table again until all drinks and water were empty and everyone was done eating except the one with the worst food. Couldn't even get food replaced that was inedible because that's how long it took to be able to actually address the issue. And since the server wanted to even be confrontational about that, we probably would not have trusted to get something else anyway. I can always tell when they think you're a tourist. We are local and will tell our friends NEVER to go here.

E O.

Yelp
The food was mediocre, yet priced like fine dining. Our group was split into two tables since they couldn't seat us all together, which we were fine with. I specifically asked for a separate tab for our table before ordering, and they agreed. However, when the bill came, both tables were charged a 22% automatic gratuity because our total party was over six--even though we were split and ordered separately. When I contested the charges, the staff said that since we arrived together and the orders were sent to the kitchen at the same time, we were considered a single group. This felt misleading, especially since I requested separate checks in advance to avoid this very situation. Between the inconsistent service policy and the overpriced, average food, I can't say this place is worth the cost. There are better options out there for the same--or even less--money.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite spots in the city! We love to send visitors here for the great food! Not a tourist trap like the spots a few blocks down the road. The fish and chips are soooooo good! Nice and chill ambiance and yesterday we had the joy of having Kristen serve us! She was super friendly and attentive to us (thank you!) Our parents loved it!

Eve F.

Yelp
I'm a regular and come all the time. The food is great and the staff is awesome. I come at least once a week because I love a friendly face and delicious bar food!
google avatar

Wayne S.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Food was very good. I recommend the tacos for sure. The old fashioned is a little different but had good flavor.
google avatar

Taylor R.

Yelp
We've walked by here so many times on our walks but have never actually eaten here. This review is for the weekend brunch only so I have no idea what the normal dinner menu is like. It was pretty slow when we came in around 11:30 after 11 a.m. open. We had our dog and were hoping to sit outside. After they cleaned and set up the tables we were able to sit outside which was nice since we were the only ones wanting that set up. We ordered an americano and a cappuccino. Coffee was just okay but I wouldn't expect it to be amazing. The service was crazy fast and our server was super kind. The hash was perfect! I love the super crunchy potatoes, well seasoned and a bit salty which I like. Incredibly tasty, favors went well together and left feeling full. We'll have to come back and try it for dinner & drinks! I noticed the menu said spinach but out dishes had kale - I actually preferred this version with the kale!
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Eager to try this restaurant out while visiting Seattle. Especially after reading their reviews about having a boozy Thai tea! We did not make reservations but walked in during happy hour and we were seated right away. We ordered a few different dishes: the wings Buffalo flavor, the clam chowder, Mac n cheese with chicken and garlic fries. The boozy Thai tea was delicious and so was the food! Our server was attentive and kind. Overall, I would recommend this place to try!
google avatar

Jaspal C.

Yelp
Worst restaurant service I've experienced in a long time, not sure if they're super understaffed or what. Waited around 40 min to order our food, we witnessed other patrons around us experiencing similar service. Same deal after we finished eating, had to wait 20 more minutes after eating to get the check. The crab cakes are definitely not worth it, way too salty and not good in terms of flavor. I did enjoy my blackened fish tacos though. I genuinely felt bad for the line of people waiting outside as I left the restaurant.

Lindsay M.

Yelp
Food & margaritas are both not good. Nachos were very cold with no salsa? Margarita tasted like lemon water. I'd skip this place and just chill in the Sculpture Park instead.
google avatar

Rachel Y.

Yelp
Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich for takeout and it was decent but wouldn't necessarily come back for it. Good crunch but thought it was lacking a bit of flavor, and "spicy" essentially meant adding a jalapeño on top which is different than what I had expected. Didn't eat inside to enjoy the ambience but looked like had a nice selection of beers.

John H.

Yelp
Try the clam & leek chowder--more a bisque yet not too rich, and perfectly accompanied by the dill garnish
google avatar

Natalie M.

Yelp
If I lived here, this would be my unapologetic watering hole. Not only are the libation options extensive, the food... the food! I had the most filling birria tacos, served with complimenting salsas, guacamole, and the birria dipping sauce. *chefs kiss*. I also have been devouring the chopped kale salad, and I wish I could finish it after all the tacos, but the servings are so big, I'm s t u f f e d. The bartender has the whole restaurant right now, and is very attentive and kind, cordial, and helpful. I came in after backpacking in the rain for miles and they were accommodating and let me store my wet things at an unoccupied table. I feel well cared for. The place is homey. Warm (there's a literal fireplace), with warmer lighting and stone, exposed wood, and dark-lacquered wood bar. It's nicely warn-in to make it feel like home, while being cleaner than any of us probably keep ours.

Alyssa D.

Yelp
Servers/waitresses refused to acknowledge me waiting to be seated. Waited for nearly 20 minutes without so much as eye contact from anyone. In the time that I waited to just get a seat, I could've been at a different restaurant so I just left. Wouldn't recommend to any tourists who want a nice meal
google avatar

EM M.

Yelp
Excellent place and my most favorite so far in Seattle. Great blackened fish tacos, wine and service. I was sad to know that Shalla left to pursue her career. The atmosphere is great as well. Right on the water with great views and inside seating is nice also.
google avatar

Geoffrey T.

Yelp
We ate at this spot late on a Sunday night in October. The food was ok (3 stars). Service was good (3.5 stars). The floor was sticky and the place overall did not feel clean (2 stars). Maybe it's better earlier in the day, or a different day if the week, but the experience we had does not give us confidence to go back again.
google avatar

Rena G.

Yelp
We came in early and had drinks at happy hour prices. We tried three of the many and varied draft beers they had. Yummy variety from red ale to pale ale. We also enjoyed the dry cider. The bartending staff were very friendly and came around at just the right time. We stayed and had dinner and truly enjoyed the ambience and the food. We sat by the fireplace and could see the water outside. Since it was December, they had cute lights up and a Christmas tree.
google avatar

Leah F.

Yelp
Stopped by because we saw they had some gluten free options and were blown away! Arguably the best crispy chicken sandwich I've had in my life! Everything we tried was fantastic! We try to go every time we're in Seattle.

Yelp
There's two parts to this review, the food and the overall setup/service. The food was good, but it wouldn't bring me back. My clams were tasty and numerous, but one came almost closed and should have been removed prior to being plated. My non-alcoholic drink was also not served with our food and it turns out they don't serve drinks at the front tables, you have to pick them up at the bar. So that starts out the service aspect to it. Due to the wait for the back tables, we opted to sit in the front and ordered at the extremely busy bar. I expected to be offered to close out when we ordered, but wasn't. So we took our flag out front and waited on our food, which was delivered by a waitress. Surprisingly, no bill was delivered then either. So I went inside to check on my drink that never showed up and close out. I have to be honest that the additional hassle of not being offered a check and having to run everything through an extremely busy bar is what dropped my review a star. Maybe it's a Seattle thing that my non-alcoholic drink can't be served with our food and I have to come back in and deal with a crowded bar full of other patrons to ask again that my drink be made and pay, but I'm just not interested in the back and forth required to eat here. All in all, 4 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service.
google avatar

Belldandy O.

Yelp
Came in to grab some drinks during the hot Friday afternoon. It looked pretty busy when we came in around 4:45PM. It was about a five minute wait if you were planning on dinning in. However, since we did not plan on ordering any food, we got seated right away near the bar. Ordered three cocktails and a draft beer: Lavender Lemonade, Spicy Fresh Margarita, Boozy Thai Tea, and a Mannys Pale Ale. The drinks were strong, but still tasty! I was definitely surprised by the spicy level from the Spicy Fresh Margarita. It wasn't overwhelming, but you could definitely feel the spice trickling down your throat. The staff here were friendly and would totally come again!

Tanna D.

Yelp
This ruined our entire vacation :( Yesterday we were taking a quick tour of the Seattle waterfront before starting our trip, and stopped by Pub70 for lunch. Despite being sunny out, it was dark and hazy inside with some musky smell -- that should have been a clue. After being seated we waited 45 minutes (!) for our order to be taken. After that the food arrived quickly... too quickly for it to have been made after our order... so it wasn't surprising that the burgers arrived lukewarm, as if they'd been sitting out. I don't know why we still ate them, if I could go back in time... All four of us had horrible bloating, then vomiting, and then diarrhea last night. We absolutely can't drive today, and now I'm worried we're going to miss our flight home. I'm absolutely devastated.

Lois V.

Yelp
Wow! All around excellent experience! Bloody Mary the right amount of heat; the salmon Benedict: eggs just right, could have used a tiny bit more hollandaise but it didn't detract from the awesomeness of the dish. The view: just what I was looking for. Service attentive then left me to enjoy it all. Thank you! See my picture.. it says it all

Jorge C.

Yelp
I'm going to keep my description to a minimum. This place is not good. Wait times are so bad, I can't understand how they stay in business. They even warn you about wait times. Food was nasty, wait sucked, unless you've heard otherwise from a reliable source, DO NOT GO
google avatar

Douglas G.

Yelp
It's really about the service. Showed up to watch the Browns - Texans playoff game with family members and they wouldn't show the game with sound. Really? It's a bar. They at least gave us the closed captioning and maybe there was something with the audio system that they couldn't play the sound from the TVs. The drinks were fine and one of our group got the fish tacos, which he said were solid. My biggest complaint was the staff. It felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there, like they did not want/need our patronage. We were the only ones in the bar so you'd think they'd be happy to see us spending money on drinks and food. But the consensus from the group was that we felt unwelcome and that we were a burden. Very weird. The Browns were out of it by the early third quarter so we took off but if we were having fun, probably would have stayed and spent more money.
google avatar

Don M.

Yelp
Yum! Probably one of the best meatloaf sandwiches I have had. Since I am eating healthy, got a side salad. Decent enough. Couldn't figure out what the thin sliced root veggies were. Slight radish flavor. Wife got the chicken sandwich. She said the same thing about the sandwich being one of the best. Sweet potato fries for a side. I tried a few. Crispy outside and melted inside. So good. Dog friendly. Had a dog menu even. Another patron with their well behaved pooch was enjoying lunch. Dog had chicken n rice. Views of the water are non-existent. Just a big tug in 1 window. The food here was the star of the show.

Yelp
After a wonderful meal at Pub 70, I went back and had a very different experience. The first time the food was wonderful, sweet potato tacos, the drink was excellent, something involving blackberries, and the service exceptional and friendly. On the second visit the food and service were both indifferent. I suspect that almond flour or "four" as the menu puts it, does not belong in a veggie burger. Or perhaps mine was undercooked or over-hydrated. It was weirdly squidgy. Not a pleasant texture. it was challenging to get either water or the check. Or to get the check paid. My server could not have cared less if I lived or died at his table. This restaurant may depend upon the day you're there. I'm not sure I'll try it again.
google avatar

Kirsten F.

Yelp
I love pub 70! Every time I come here I'm a happy clam. The chicken sandwich is SO JUICY and delicious. And their rotating espresso martinis are unique and really good, like Ube and Peanut Butter.
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Pub 70 is a great lunch spot. I sat out on the patio and had a nice view of the water. Great service and friendly servers. Food came out pretty fast and was excellent. Prices were reasonable too. Would definitely go back next time I visit Seattle.

Yelp
Ordered the fish and chips, the wait staff was a bit slow and inside seemed a little dirty. If I went back I would definitely sit outside. The food was good, fair priced.
