Which Minneapolis and St. Paul Patios Are Open Right Now, Summer 2020 | Eater Twin Cities

"I found their patio is currently open with tables sometimes placed on existing patios, in parking lots, or on sidewalks; guests are asked to wear masks and all staff will be masked, with precautions in place—check with the restaurant for individual days and hours. Studies suggest lower exposure risk when dining outdoors, but that benefit depends on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines." - Joy Summers

Which restaurant patios will reopen June 2020 in Minneapolis and Saint Paul? | Eater Twin Cities

"I expect its patio to open next week; seating will require reservations and be at a diminished capacity, with social distancing enforced. Masks will be required for workers and for Minneapolis diners (but not in St. Paul). Minneapolis has relaxed zoning to let restaurants reclaim outdoor space such as parking lots and valet stands, though Mayor Melvin Carter and the St. Paul city council are still expected to address zoning concerns. This list may change as the date nears; for updates emailminneapolis@eater.com." - Joy Summers

Wonderful dinner! Service was great as well as the food! The Ruben was absolutely delicious as was my husbands chicken wrap! Service was very good! I reserved a table through Open Table and we were seated immediately and table request was well received! Thank you! We will be back!

Stopped in for late lunch during an off time after visiting the local record store. Ate at the bar and bar and had wonderful service. Tried the kielbasa mac & cheese ... very tasty dish that more than filled me up. It's a warm environment and if I was around here more I'd be back. Big whiskey and bourbon selection and many other interesting dishes on the menu.

Recently reopened after a fire, Pub 819 has quickly reestablished itself as a go to spot for great food, drinks, and atmosphere. I had the Old Fashioned Burger, and it was everything you want in a burger, gooey, flavorful, and deliciously messy. It came with a generous side of truffle fries and a dipping sauce that paired perfectly. While we were there, they were running a “Pop the Keg” promotion, if you got the last pour from a keg, you’d win a $20 gift card. It was a fun twist and a perfect excuse to order another round. Our server was fantastic: friendly, attentive without hovering, and had a great sense of humor. Great food, great service, great energy. Stop in, you won’t regret it.

Lauren was an outstanding server, offering great suggestions. The rear patio’s ambiance was fantastic. Best Brussels sprouts ever with a sweet, zingy twist. The Hopkins Burger was delicious too. Highly recommend for a memorable meal and excellent ambiance.

Oh, man. I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but I just can't believe I will start by saying the food is absolutely amazing. We've ordered takeout so many times, and every time, it's been great. The true test was in person. The customer service was so terrible. The waitress wasn't around. When she did show up, she seemed very annoyed by us asking for more drinks. We waited an eternity to order our food well after all apps were gone and first round gone. We asked the manager for a drink and he wasn't happy to help at all. Everyone who brought drinks to the table seemed bothered to bring it. Someone had a medical issue and fell. There wasn't a single staff member who came and asked for anything, and the manager wasn't to be seen. It was quite sad. We started off with peanut butter old fashions, and they were a hit. Not overly strong, but you could completely taste the drink. it was smooth and delicious. Now, in to the food. The cheese curds were fried perfectly, and the dipping sauce was a perfect pair. The steak bites were incredible. So tender and covered in sauce. Those two apps are highly recommended. The burger is super juicy and cooked just as I ordered. The cubano was mmm perfect! All of the food we would eat again and again. It's some of the best pub food around. We will just continue with takeout. I highly recommend this joint, but I warn about the experience inside. The food is outstanding and at least worth it a try once.
