The 18 Best Beer Gardens In London - London - The Infatuation

"Pub On The Park is like a choose-your-own-adventure video game—if there was a video game called The Legend Of Dr. Marten And The Magic Vape. Within chlorine-sniffing distance of London Fields Lido, this park-side pub has three big bookable outdoor spaces. We like the downstairs suntrap terrace for low-key first dates and shameless dog-watching, while the upper terrace and slip-way bench setup is ideal for those partial to balls of both the foot and mac ‘n’ cheese variety." - jake missing, daisy meager, heidi lauth beasley

The 16 Best Pubs In London (For Every Situation)

"For An Impromptu Big Group Sometimes all you can feasibly type in the group WhatsApp after your fourth pint of Hackney-brewed ale is ‘pub on the park’. Inside, it’s a casual, blank canvas boozer with long benches. Outside there’s a big beer garden overlooking London Fields and two covered mezzanines that are ideal for scooting up when your favourite Elf Bar socialites make an appearance at 9pm. " - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna

5 Exciting Things To Eat & Do Between September 10th - 12th

"Yes, lockdown meant everyone got tired of picnics in parks, and outdoor spaces in general, but the deeper we get into September, the closer we are to puffer-jacket-weather. So we suggest hanging out in parks until we’re all forced inside by the inevitable terrible British weather. Particularly parks that have good food and live music performances, AKA Pub In The Park. It’s on tour throughout September, but St Albans isn’t all that far away and it’ll be worth the journey to catch Cue Point serving some of their first class nacos (naan tacos). Book tickets here." - rianne shlebak

Located on the edge of London Fields, this pub offers a spacious beer garden with views over the park. It's a popular spot, especially in summer, with outdoor seating and big screens for sports events. The menu includes pub classics like burgers and chips, and the bar serves a range of beers and cocktails. Inside, the atmosphere is lively, and the pub hosts events such as comedy nights. While it can get crowded, especially on weekends, it's a good place for a casual drink or meal with friends.

Alana

Google
A lively pub that’s perfect for catching events or enjoying a Sunday roast. The roast was quite good and offered great value for money. The outdoor area is especially charming during the warmer months. One of our favourite spots when we are in East London!

Google
The pub has unfortunately gone downhill recently. It's a lovely spot. However the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be, with a limited menu and tough overcooked meat. To cap it all, despite the fact that we were still eating they refused to serve us a drink at 6:50 as we had one baby with us. We will sadly not be returning in the foreseeable future.

Fran Morrison

Google
Lovely pub, great location. Visited for the Women’s Euro Finals and the atmosphere was great! The poutine was also amazing - just knocked off a star because they weren’t doing Sunday Roasts sadly, and we had a post semi-blocking our view. Otherwise awesome!

Google
Great, really flavourful roasts! Good beer selection. Great atmosphere to watch a match. Service from the bar staff could be better.

Google
Great pub for Sports. Watched the British GP. This year it rained but it was a lively crowd. And even though the person sitting next to us was not technically under cover, we lent him our umbrella, and we all enjoyed the race.

Google
Ok!!!!so I've been here several time now and the place is great and the staff seem even better. But , the girl with green hair is so rude. She is really not nice . Tell her to drop the attitude

Google
Excellent place to be to celebrate partners birthday with friends. We sat indoors on a very sunny and partially rainy day. Great beers and vibes. Food was amazing too to order for the table

Yelp
Fell in love with this spot and I'm looking forward for the EURO Cup to start very soon to have some quality time here with the bros. This pub has it all: drinks, obviously, but also a gigantic terrace, on the park. BAM. Atmosphere is very cool, where hipsters mingle with sportsters (not sure this as a word) or football/rugby fans. I've see a few sunday roasts passing by...crazy stuff! A great spot for a sunday afternoon. 5 stars, all the way.

Yelp
Wow - what a fantastic pub located just on the corner of London Fields with a great view over the park and fantastic vibes. We went on the hottest day of the year so far (fingers crossed) and had a table reserved to celebrate a friend finishing the Hackney Half - but boy is it a sun trap. I was that typical English person complaining that it was too hot within seconds. Luckily the service at the bar was efficient and I was topped up with delicious refreshing shandys throughout the afternoon. They also have a massive self serve water cooler where you can keep yourself hydrated. Unfortunately we had already stuffed ourselves at brunch but their roast dinners look phenomenal so I am dying to go back unfortunately it is a pain to get to by public transport and I live on the otherside of London (my only complaint). For any sports fans they also show alllll the sports here!

Yelp
Great Service & Great Food!!! The weather was beautiful and perfect for a meal on the outdoor patio. We reserved a table. For our meal, we ordered the Lamb, Roast Beef, Pinot Grigio & Yorkshire Pudding. There are television screens outside to catch the football matches & patrons can oversea the park from their sitting area. Our server was diligent & respectful by inquiring if our meal & the service was satisfactory etc. A pleasant experience in total & I would recommend this pub in the future.

Yelp
This is a fantastic spot! I met with a large group of friends here and there's plenty of space out on the terrace for large groups. Lots of seating, huge umbrellas that cover the entire terrace, great staff and delicious food. In the afternoons they do fresh barbeques outside as well. Definitely a great pub!

Yelp
The pubs best attribute is definitely it's balcony style, elevated beer garden. I have spent quite a lot of time there over summer, and have found it to be the perfect place to have a beer in the sun and look out over London Fields. This is not to say that the view from the beer garden is any less beautiful in other seasons, in fact, autumn is a delightful time to rug up and look out over the leafy fields. The interior of the pub is rather nice. There is a real English pub feel and there is definitely a quirkiness that I like about the place. Live sports are shown, such as rugby and football, but there apart from when there is a game on, the pub does not feel like it is dominated by sport. I think this is a good thing as it appeals to different types of clientele, not just sports fans. There is quite a good selection of beers and a great group of non-uniformed friendly characters behind the bar. The food menu is quite tradition but it is not the place to go if you want a nice meal. An example of the main courses on offer is 'Ham, eggs and chips' All in all, The 'Pub on the park', even for the sole reason of it's beer garden, is a great place to go for a drink, preferably in good weather.

Yelp
The sun is shining upon the grass of the field, a couple are laughing whilst throwing a frisbee, a group of friends sit nearby eating from a picnic and children run freely with their parents watching on. You are sat on an outdoor wooden platform terrace, overlooking this most pleasing of scenes, with your hand clasped on a cool beer, having just consumed some delicious homemade food. Yes the pub on the park is surely a place worth visiting, come sun or rain, autumn or Spring. The stock is varied, with an excellent choice of ales and an absolutely charming atmosphere prevails. Family friendly and a view across the park, which aids the thirst-quenching process.

Yelp
One of my favourite pubs in London. Why? Because it is an iconic pub overlooking an iconic spot right over London Fields. Decent spot at decent prices. Only go for boozy but in the summer it is perfection. Even showed Rugby World Cup games this summer too.

Yelp
Wow - it seems like the overall consensus is that this pub is amazing because of the outdoor area. I would agree - it's appealing even on a crisp winter's day. In fact, I've only started frequenting it this winter and I also would vouch for its cosy indoor environment. I love the 'Bear's Den' on the 2nd floor, with its open fire and couches (bars with couches being a 'thing' for me!). I've never actually been lucky enough to secure seating here - it seems it's very popular to get booked up for private parties, so plan ahead if you want to hunker down here. I also love the roomy unisex bathrooms in the basement. They're lovely and clean (a somewhat rarity in East London), with plenty of mirror and counterspace for the ladies. I think the one negative I would add is that I was underwhelmed with their selection of beers. I generally come from the school of thought that I'd rather drink more expensive, tasty, beers and drink fewer of them, than drink lots of cheap, uninspiring beer. Unfortunatley, I think the most exotic lager in stock here was a Kronenburg. It would be great if they could partner up with the local London Fields brewery or something to stock some more special beverages. Oh, also, I hate TVs in bars that are switched on even when nothing special is showing. I came here with a group of friends who got into a big discussion about this because some crappy daytime tv programme was showing on a Saturday afternoon and they were having trouble concentrating on the conversation because they could see a number of tvs in their eyeline. Unless you're showing a match (and this doesn't strike me as a sportsbar venue) - switch it off!!!

Yelp
Oh rainy day in London why did you have to challenge my one day to get to Pub in the Park and enjoy the outdoors. I arrived here soaking wet, and freezing (in July). I wanted so badly to sit outside but I needed to warm up. I went down to the toilet to find my door stall wouldn't close, paper roll wouldn't roll, and then when washing my hands there was no soap. It wasn't a busy hot day either so why the careless taking care of the basic facilities? I got a beer and sat down only to then be harassed by a man from the Congo who professed his love to me. He was a local to this bar as the people that worked there all talked to him, but he wouldn't leave me alone.. so I left. Oh well.. try again on a nice day?

Yelp
Aside from the obviously ample outdoor area, which is the attraction for most, this place serves up one hell of a Sunday Roast. Huge portions, all the trimmings. Just what you need on a Sunday afternoon after a night on the town when your eyes are feeling bigger then your belly. I quite liked the staff and they now accept card payments. I can't wait to spend more time here as the days get longer and warmer.
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
They have the best veggie burger in town AND the hand cut chips are just too good to leave behind no matter how full the actual burger made you. Please note: Bring a friend. You will need someone to carry you home (in a good way) Also, they serve alcoholic ginger beer, which is, the best alcoholic drink ever?

Yelp
Tristan's review reminded me about this awesome pub. I looove it here! Everyone else seems to agree that this is an excellent pub in summer...I actually visited it on a super cold day for a friend's birthday party, and I thought it was fantastic for chilly winter-not-yet-feeling-like-spring evenings too. My friend had reserved the huge room upstairs that has its own fire surrounded by comfy sofas. It seemed a bit like a large version of your gran's living room (but with a far more interesting choice of drinks downstairs!!) Awesome. **I should probably mention that the one thing that really confused me in this pub was blokes walking through the ladies loos! The easiest way to get to the table tennis room downstairs is to wander through the girls toilets. I didn't realise this, so ended up blushing when some lads barged past as I tried to adjust my skirt by the mirror. Eep! I had already tried some lovely cider by this point, so I got over my blushes pretty speedily!
google avatar

Linzi M.

Yelp
We came here for a fellow Yelpers birthday, she had reserved the patio upstairs but it was traditonal British summer weather so we had to decamp to the room downstairs. Which you get to by going through the girls' toilets like some kind of Peeing Narnia. There was a woman changing her baby, as we scuttled past. Really, Pub owners? No prizes for guessing how they brought the food, yup, through the toilets again. Is that allowed? I can't imagine so. Fairly decent roast though, hmm pork crackling. My first time getting that in a roast in London. They charged extra for the subpar Yorkshire pud though. Outrageous. How can you not get a pud - what kind of communist regime are they running?!

Yelp
Pub on the Park is one of the best spots in Hackney to have a drink during the summer. Perched right on the edge of London Fields of Martin Amis fame this cavernous pub is also blessed with plentiful decked outdoor seating making it a nice alternative to sitting in the actual park. The food is your standard pub fare - all burgers, chips and the like - and is good value, consistent and well-made. Drinks are averagely priced considering the prime location of this busy haunt and the popularity of Pub on the Park amongst visitors and locals alike is testament to its quality.
google avatar

Lusea W.

Yelp
I love this pub!! The best time I was here was having a naughty pint with friends after a cold swim in the lido. We sat outside as it was one of warmer days in early spring, and watched an incredible sunset over the park.. Those pink and orange sun kissed clouds still give me a smile today. The drinks prices are about average, and the interior has lovely wooden floorboards, wooden tables and a snugly sofa for lazy Sundays. But be careful not to go on a football or rugby night, as this place can get pretty full. Or maybe you like that?
google avatar

Kenneth M.

Yelp
Clearly very popular in the Summer, my only evening here so far was very enjoyable. Decent service and well priced double bloody marys (£6.50) + a generally well stocked bar made for a pleasant couple of hours in welcoming surroundings.
google avatar

Keoni K.

Yelp
Saturday night at Pub on the Park! Walking into the place, you second guess yourself because you're no hipster and obviously not sporting some form of denim-on-denim. Throw your preconceptions out the window because Pub on the Park blew my socks off. Honestly, the Saturday night DJ played TLC's No Scrubs not once...but twice in the same hour! Then she pretty much dug out every R&B bomb hit from my childhood. Had to bust out my dance moves as a form of worship to the beats!Such a great vibe from a pub that straddles both worlds old and new. My friend had been there from early on Saturday watching the rugby, and he said the place buzzed with energy. The burgers and chips hit the spot too!!

Yelp
I have never seen this pub busy, but then I have only ever visited between 2 and 3pm for some food - if you're in the market for straight up pub grub and the best fat, fluffy, salty chips I've ever eaten you're in the right place. I love their veggie burgers too, though I can't pretend there's anything healthy on the menu. Things to note - the kitchen closed at 3pm (presumably opening again later in the day?), dogs are welcome and the bar only accepts cash.
google avatar

Qype User (izagui…)

Yelp
Amazing view. London fields is one of the best parks in London and this pub is just in front of it. Is one of the most chilling terraces i have ever been. I went once to watch a football match and they had loads of screens so everyone could be catered for a football evening. The atmosphere was great. prices are standard, but service is quite bad. I asked for a Guinness and been served a Lager for a Asiatic waitress that could not understand a single word in english there is loads of room inside as well but the view is impressive and may worth waiting if you have to. get there is a pain in the neck though, since there s no tube to go to Hackney. bus 106 from whitechapel and 47 from shoreditch will take you there

Yelp
Overrated, crappy place that lies on its specials and menus. I specifically came for the Butter Bean, Feta & Kale Burger, Chilli Jam & Chips (v) - 10- listed on the online menu. It's no longer there. Also the site had once advertised a Monday burger special- more lies. We walked to Oslo instead and had a very good meal.

Qype User (coldwa…)

Yelp
Been here a few times, mainly for an afternoon drink in the summer as the outside decking area which looks over London Fields makes for a lovely pint. Never had tried the food until recently, the menu consists of what they refer to as 'classic pub food' written on a chalkboard. The beef burger which I went for was not only one of the best i've had in the area, but one of the best pub served burgers ever. Good succulent meat and a liberal size portion make this worth they slightly steep £8.50, especially when enjoying the meal outside whilst the sun is setting over the park. The chips were a little disappointing, and the drink selection wasn't too great, especially considering this is £3.50 upwards for a pint of lager. Apart from that, this is a great pub for chilling out with a pint, and an even better one for a 'classic' pub lunch.

Yelp
The Pub On The Park lying on the border of London Fields park and London Fields station in East London is a great place for a sunny Sunday afternoon in the summer. Great atmosphere outside, great beer inside, Tuesday is pub quiz night with the locals which is a lot of fun! Recommended to take the kids so you can watch them play in the park while you relax on the pub's well built terrace. Games include football, rugby and cricket on the teley. Friendly staff, all in all a great place to spend the afternoon. Try the roasted pork on their Sunday menu.
google avatar

Qype User (kitka…)

Yelp
You just can't beat the view. Located right next to London Fields, you are sitting in what must be Hackney's prettiest pub. In the summer you can just take your pint down to the park and picnic on the green or lounge around in the adjacent beer garden. In winter the inside is nice and cosy, with lots of wood, a delicious home made sunday roast and chess boards for rent. Finally they have some very tastefully decorated ladies toilets.
google avatar

Qype User (jamfac…)

Yelp
I went here today for some lunch before some picnic action in London Fields. We watched the football here and had the Sunday roast (the only food option on a Sunday) with choice of lamb, chicken, beef or veggie. It was moderately busy but we still had to wait 50 minutes for our food, offered with no apology. The roast was ok, nowt to be raving about, the gravy was good but the rest pretty average. The best thing about the place is the location, you can buy beer in plastic cups to go into the park with if you can't be bothered to go to the offie. It's clean and nicely decorated and I had a really nice pimms. There's a large outdoor area overlooking the park and it's a nice place to hang out on a sunny day but sadly the quality of food and service makes me only give it 3 stars.
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
Warning: I've only been here on beautiful patio-friendly days so maybe that's forcing a biased 5 star review. But I don't think so. Or, well...judge for yourselves, k? I love love love it here. Not only is it adjacent to London Fields (I'll write a separate review for that), but points go to the following: 1) really really really attentively on-the-ball bartenders during busy rushes. Even though people are smashed up against the bar I've never had to wait a long time for a pint 2) food is good, and hearty, and they serve massive sandwiches like burgers with a big knife through them (I LOVE THE DRAMA!) 3) people are always really nice to me there. Like men giving way and women smiling with "cheers" when I let them pass. Am I being weird, here? I dunno. I just find it super-friendly...like, when we're at Pub on the Park, we'll all in on the secret together. 4) many different hang-out spots. There's the downstairs table tennis spot (bizarrely: accessed through the womens' loos?). There's the big open ground floor. There are two separate back patio spots. There's an upstairs. Prime real estate this afternoon: one of the built in banquettes outside overlooking the puppies and hipsters in London Fields. What a view. 5) Hip hop (ya don't stop). The music here can be eclectic...ally awesome. Even though my pale winter skin had to leave after two pints today to decamp to an indoors setting...I hated to leave. Yelp note: my friend has reserved space here for private parties. I mean, I'd probably go wherever she wanted to celebrate (Friend Rulebook), but I think the Pub in the Park is a great choice.

Bea B.

Yelp
The perfect pub for a sunny afternoon, Pub on the Park is a large refurbished Victorian pub, full of wooden furniture inside and plenty of seating. There is a large outside decking area, which overlooks London Fields so it can get very busy. The friendly staff will give you your pint in a plastic cup if you fancy drinking it in the park, so there's somewhat of a festival atmosphere during the summer months. There is an eclectic mix of people locals, students, city workers, and the usual trilby wearing Shoreditch crowd. But the staff are friendly and unlike some venues in the uber trendy Hackney area, you get the feeling people are happily going about their own business and not judging you on what shoes you're wearing.
google avatar

Derry N.

Yelp
Pub on the Park is a good summer choice for anyone too posh to buy cans and drink in London Fields. Any other time, its a pretty reliable spot too. They tend to have their large flatscreens on even when there is nothing worth watching, so if I can, I will head outside to sit on the heated smoking terrace. The drinks on offer are not very inspiring, and service can be quite slow when its busy, which is often. But its the location which makes the place. Sit out and watch the leaves falling around the local cricket team from the decking, or bring the drinks around the side of the pub to play boules. They serve food too but I've never tried it.
google avatar

Zoe H.

Yelp
Pub on the park is perfect for lazy summer days when you want to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. Perched on the edge of London Fields, the large refurbished pub is an ideal location for views of the park. If you're lucky get a seat in the large terrace area and gloat while other drinkers wait enviously! If sitting on the grass is more your thing then you can always ask for your drink in a plastic cup. I've never eaten here but the plates of food always look very impressive. Pub on the park is a great Hackney pub and definately one of my favourite summer drinking venues.

Yelp
Seriously, the worst lunch ever! I have worked in the Hackney area for 6 years and Pub on the Park used to be fantastic. Great lunches good for Summer evenings after work and at weekends my local friends tell me they used to have bar-b-que's. I was there today and me and 3 friends ordered 1 Chicken Salad and 3 Tuna Salads. It took 30 minutes to bring out the Chicken Salad, which consisted of something white that was supposed to be chicken with Mainly Salad leaves, 2 small slices of tomato, a few thin slices of cuecumber, this was a fiver. The bowl it came in was a very small soup bowl and to be honest i would call it a side salad. Then a tuna Sandwich came, which was meant to be one of the salads we ordered so that went back. By 1.40pm (we got there at 1.05pm) finally 3 tuna salads came, with the same amount of salad as the chicken salad but instead of white stuff pretending to be chicken it was a few flakes of tuna. What i am trying to say is that not even half a can of tuna was used for all 3 salads!!!! We had been let down again by pub on the park! So then we asked as the salads were so small could we have some bread (we always used to get bread), the barmaid then told us that she would charge us extra for the bread so we were like 'hello! have you seen the size of these its really bad we should actually get the bread with the salad'. She then said 'Well its not my fault' so politely we all said 'Look not blaming you but come on, look at it!' She then said 'ok if you are not happy then i wont charge for the bread'. After this one slice of bread was bought out each so i made a salad sandwich with it. The thing that does keep this place going i think is the fact that it has a great view and in the summer is the only place near mare street that is outside. I have given 1 star for the view and the outside area, and yeah, my drink was ok. But really, seriously Pub on the Park, just sort out the kitchen. We have tried to politely say something as we were regulars and it could be a really good place but the manager is not only rude to customers but is rude to staff too. I just wish they would sort it out as could really be a good place.

Yelp
Great place for drinks especially in the evening - plenty of seating and heated outdoor sheltered areas. Great beers on tap. Haven't tried the food here yet but I reckon it's good as the pub is always busy and popular!

Qype User (Mandy4…)

Yelp
This was and still sort of is one of the best places to go on a sunny day when you want to have a nice cold pint, relax with friends and watch the daily goings on in the park. They dont have the widest selection of beers but they have a few good ones on tap. Its a great suntrap for all you sun worshippers and great shade for those of us that arent! My only reason for giving the pub 3 stars is because of the food, long long ago it was pretty good but in the last year it has lost the appeal it once had. Quite a pricey menu and not very big portions too and all made out of a kitchen the size of the average toilet and considering the size of the pub, its pretty dire. Also do not eat here if you have only an hours lunch, you are most likely to recieve your food 5 minutes before you have to leave. If they just sorted out their cooking arrangements, chef and waiting staff this would complete the entire experience.
google avatar

Charlotte P.

Yelp
Gets absolutely rammed, especially on Sundays/ match days etc. so book a table if you can. Booze is decently priced, garden area is big and pretty, staff are nice, and food is pretty tasty. I went there for Sunday lunch and the kitchen closed just as we went to order because they were too busy. Annoying but it re-opened within an hour and the food was delicious. Only been there in the winter so far but looking forward to spending summer days there.
google avatar

Qype User (svanr1…)

Yelp
This used to be a really popular pub, unfortunately this is now not the case. The toilets are filthy and the place smells of blocked drains. What used to be a buzzing pub, now struggles to attract half a dozen or so customers on a Friday night. Busy in the summer months, due to the locaton, but to be avoided for the rest of the year.
google avatar

Qype User (michae…)

Yelp
It is one of the worst "Our location allows us to treat you any way we want" kind of pubs in London. Rude, ignorant staff. Crap "food". Management that don't give a f**k. A mate of mine got barred for asking them to turn the music down one Tuesday evening. And there was only about five other people in the pub. Overpriced and absolutely diabolically crap. I would give it no stars but..

L S.

Yelp
I love this pub - its in a perfect Location and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Nice food for dinner or to simply snack on whilst having a drink. The outside area is the obvious pull with this pub. Its lovely to sit and look out across the park and at night they have fairy lights which giving it a nice warm feel.
google avatar

James D.

Yelp
nice outlook for summer drinking. probably a wee hipster overrated and hence overpriced. food was pretty decent, nothing special but far from bad. if i was local this would be a go-to, otherwise i tend to head down to broadway market instead.

Zoe S.

Yelp
I've been here twice in two months and for the first trip I would have said 4/5, but second trip was not as great as they seem to have halved the amount of food you get in your roast!

Yelp
what a great place to be in the summer, overlooking london fields cricket for those who like it, but just watching peope enjoying the park while you sotting outside having a nice pint, and a chat to a ex eastender star, the pubs very nice and friendly, fair prices and good staff with manners

Yelp
This was my local for many years and I still visit on occasion. It still remains one of the best pubs in Hackney. This is not and never has been a food driven venue so if you want a decent meal then go to one of the many good restaurants on Mare Street or any of the numerous gastro pubs that now adorn Hackney. The thing I like about this place is the mix of people - after it appeared in an article in the Guardian it was swamped by the Hoxton wave but thankfully this only lasted one summer. This is a pub that caters for everyone regardless of their social status or what they choose to do for a living so if you want pure middle class pretence then there are, sadly, plenty such venues in Hackney. Getting served in summer is a nightmare as the overall layout of the pub is badly designed and the owner (not the management/staff) is an ignorant tw@ but this is without doubt a very good pub and the minor negatives are surpassed by the atmosphere and more importantly by the people who choose to drink in here. Long live decent pubs

Yelp
If I could award zero stars I would. Visited today for a Sunday roast, paid £30 for 2 plates of food and 2 soft drinks. Easily the worst Sunday roast I have ever experienced. Food arrived at the table less than 5 minutes after placing the order and tasted like a stale carvery selection, had clearly been sitting under a heat light for some time; limp vegetables, hard-skinned and dried out potatoes and a small portion of relatively flavourless meat. Will definitely not be returning.

Yelp
We were left waiting 1 1/2 hours for Sunday lunch, we could have cooked it in this time, our friends who ordered at the same time had long finished when ours arrived. The beef was cold, and also served with mint sauce. When I asked the staff about the order being late, one of them couldn't care less, apparently the kitchen staff are a different company, but this shouldn't matter as the bar staff took the order. Tables around us that ordered nearly and hour after us were getting their food first, one was even the exact same order as ours. If the staff member we had asked previously had noted our issue we may have been served quicker but alas, not his problem. I understand the bar was busy with football fans but as previously explained the kitchen staff is separate, and surely they should be prepared for a busy Sunday. Insult to injury and as a terrible form of apology they passed off another two plates of roast on us, they obviously messed up another order and thought the people who waited over an hour for food and had just finished eating would like another plate of cold roast. Won't be going back for food. Sorry, I wanted to like it but was let down by the service.

Yelp
Came here for works Christmas do. Never again. Dry Turkey, packet stuffing and mushed vegetables, cold Christmas pudding. Awful service. I'd avoid this place, bearing in mind we paid £30 per head. They are clearly taking the piss. especially when they place us in a room a that you have to walk through the ladies toilet to get to.
