Checked out this new pub on 7th St in downtown DC. The exterior could be more inviting - the fully opaque vinyl on the door makes it easy to miss and felt unwelcoming. Inside, the space is cozy and comfortable like a warm dive bar, though some of the decor feels overengineered and incohesive. Given the bitcoin theme, I expected more retro arcade or video game elements; things like vintage hockey gear and fencing masks felt disconnected. Beer prices are relatively reasonable for the neighborhood ($5-11 for drafts), though I was disappointed the pours are 10oz instead of full pints. Didn’t try the food, but the menu sounded solid. I’m not sure if they have a happy hour menu or deals but hopefully they add one soon. The space itself is large, with a big back area and stage. While it seems to only host bitcoin events, it would also make a great small concert or comedy venue. Hopefully Pubkey gets creative and expands beyond the crypto niche - the area could really use more intimate live venues. I’d stop back if I’m in the neighborhood and hope the place succeeds.

The SBR is delicious! I had two! The atmosphere is cozy and meme-y. Really enjoyed popping in during the cold weather. Bartenders and bar backs are friendly and recommended great drinks. I can't speak on food, but the menu looks good. Next time I come I will have to eat some food.

Was disappointed to lose the last spot here, but so freaking happy it's been replaced by Pubkey! The ambiance is so cozy. Your new local bar that's a perfect spot for a chill hang and catchup with friends or to watch a sports game. Had the triple cheeseburger and OMG! Was almost too decadent; was overflowing with cheese and caramelized onions. Will go for a single or double next time, but definitely don't regret my decisions tonight. For my drink, I had the Pleb (a miller high life with Campari and sweet vermouth). Delicious and very refreshing! Was served at the bar by John and what a great guy! We had a wonderful time! Give Pubkey a try!!!! Fantastic food & drinks, for a fantastic price! This'll be my go-to spot in town!

I stopped by on a random Tuesday, and was immediately greeted with a hello and smile from Pablo. Pablo was very nice and helpful along with Jonathan, We chose to sit at the bar, this place let you purchase items using bitcoin and you receive 21% off. The place has been open for 2 weeks and will expand within 6 months with a steakhouse downstairs. I ordered the buffalo tenders and it came with fries, coleslaw and pickles on the side. The tenders were delicious very moist and seasoned good. I ordered 2 drinks which was a specific margarita that included reposada tequila, grand mariner with grapefruit, lime and other fruit juices, very good for $14. (Very similar to Cadillac Margarita) The place itself is huge, they have a large lounge area also, I will definitely return soon.

What a fun bar to pop into! This is a quintessential DC bar for a cold evening with dark wood and great drinks. The 'Washington place' cocktail (essentially an old fashioned) was great, and there was an open table for our party of 5 on a Tuesday night. They had cocktails, wine and beer. It's very close to Carmines and was a perfect spot for a pre- dinner cocktail. Definitely recommend!

Chill spot with delicious burgers and draft pours. Great music playing while some of the games play. The servers at the bar were very friendly and attentive. We'll be back soon!

Really loved the atmosphere and the cocktails were delicious!! Amazing location and service, very clean and nice upscale pub vibe but still provides the tavern feel you're looking for when enjoying a nice drink
