Went here on Saturday night with a couple of girlfriends. One of them had been here before and suggested the place, but myself and the other had not.
GPS didn't take me exactly to the restaurant, so after turning around twice, I finally saw the outdoor lights from a street down. I didn't see a sign for the restaurant outside (maybe because it was dark), but I wasn't even sure I was at the right place at first. This was a tad frustrating.
Once you are inside, you have to find a seat yourself. Seating is limited to a few booths, the bar, and several large, family style tables. We came early on in the evening, but as the night when on, I could see it would be difficult to come here with a larger group, as this place doesn't take reservations. You also have to go to the bar to order your food, and you're given a number for your table for it to be delivered. I didn't know this, and didn't see any signs to let you know about it, however the one in our party who had been here before knew, and took care of ordering for us. Had she not been here before or told us about it, we might've been waiting for a while before we figured out why we hadn't been seen by a server. I think this should be better communicated.
I ordered the kale and beet salad, chicken wings, and dill fries. The kale salad was pretty good, however the wings weren't anything special. The dill fries were interesting, but besides throwing pieces of dill on them, I wasn't super impressed. I had a craft cider and a sparkling wine, which were decent. The rest of the menu was different, so if you're a picky eater, this might not be a restaurant for you.
The vibe is very hipster, so if you're into that, this is a place to check out.
