"Another change for the park is the renaming of the Public House restaurant, which will now be called 58 Social." - Paolo Bicchieri

Very nice place to eat right before the game. You have to walk through a metal detector to get in but you can enter the park inside. We got the fish and chips and the public house cheeseburger with fries. Fish and chips was crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside with a good chuck of fish. The home made tartar sauce went well with it. The cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful. Nice blend of lettuce tomato. Onions and pickles with a house sauce. I added bacon to mine. The fries are very well made thick with a nice crisp with a bit of salt and parsley on them. Overall a great experience.

Came here couple of hours before the game and place was quite busy. They have a massive selection of craft beers at reasonable prices - was like 20 odd beers on tap with bunch of bottles and then a special selection of beer as well. Food is typical pub food but an emphasis on fresh and all prepared on site. They also have a door that gets you right in the stadium. Highly recommended if your into craft beer!

Incredible cool vibe to this place. Must do this prior to attending a Giants game. Wall of kegs, multiple tv screens, awesome beer and food. Direct entry into the ballpark for the game.

Google
Stopped here twice before a giant's game. First time, just for drinks. This time for food and drinks. Busy but service wasn't skimpy. I enjoyed my meal and drink. Cant speak on the prices, I didn't pay. You can order drinks and take it to the game. Way cheaper!

October 2018 update: Watched the world series game here and it was a great place to hang out. Great 🍺 selection. Great beer selection. The food has gotten better over the years. I like how the chef constantly tweaks the menu.

First time to visit Public House after attending Fan Fest with a friend. You have to get the Pretzel Nugget Bites appetizer with mustard dipping sauce! The clam chowder soup is scrumptious too. Great tasting Old Fashioned cocktail, and friendly service. Would be good for a large group as well, with plenty of seating areas. Large screen TV's throughout, open kitchen, full bar and rustic brick decor with large windows facing the opening courtyard to the Giants stadium - Oracle Park.

Google
Food was ok, menu does not have much variety though. Big beer collection. Waiters are friendly, but a little unprofessional. Orders arrive slowly but taste good. I got the roasted chicken, and it sas perfectly cooked and spiced. Location is everything, and this one is right next to giants park. Was not busy at around 1 om, but got busy later because there was a game at 6.

Good food/service. It’s ballpark prices ($$$) but a great before game stop. Good food and drinks, served efficiently.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot before a Giants game! There is an entrance at the corner of 3rd and King, and it's also connected to Oracle Park. Public House (PH) is open during non-game days as a stand-alone restaurant and bar, but shines as a pre-game hangout! You can enter the ballpark with a ticket to the game from inside PH, however it's important to note that if there is a SGA (Stadium Giveaway), you will not receive one entering here. The play is to enter the stadium at the Willie Mays Gate, then immediately cut right and enter PH from inside the ballpark. Security will issue you a wristband upon entry, so you don't have to show your ticket to get back into the stadium from PH. I believe the cutoff is around 1st pitch, but confirm when entering. They feature a decent sized menu with a little something for everyone. We usually eat inside the ballpark, but have eaten here a few times and enjoyed the food. One of the other main reasons we come here is for the drinks! They have beer, wine, and cocktails at a "regular", reasonable price. They have craft beers on tap, as well as canned beers and ciders. We've even had a Bloody Mary or two in the morning before day games. Another hot tip: you can bring the drinks you buy at PH into the stadium. They won't let you bring cans or glass, so just tell the bartender you want it to-go, and they'll hook you up with a plastic cup. KNBR will occasionally live stream from the patio outside, which is always fun and exciting to see the personalities IRL and hear them discuss Bay Area sports in person! As you can imagine, they can get pretty busy before and during games. They have a limited number of people working, so anticipate you might have to wait, and be patient. The staff all work really hard and are usually friendly if you smile and aren't rude about getting their attention. Special shout-out and thank you to Lisa at the bar! She is there for pretty much every game I've been to, and is always so nice, friendly, and brightens our day with her infectious smile. Thanks again Public House, see you before the next game!

Michelle R.

Yelp
I had the Bacon Jam Burger...very tasty! The fries were "so so". Our server was extremely friendly and came by to check on us regularly! We were here when they first opened, so it wasn't too busy or loud. Not 5 star...food wasn't worthy of that rating. Also, they had no posted hours (on the door, website, or voicemail when I called in)...

Leni L.

Yelp
I stopped into PH for a drink 2-3 hours before the game to get a margarita. I walked right up to the bar & was immediately served- not a wait- not busy at all. I received the absolute worst drink I've ever had in my life. It was all ice, with a sliver of lime. I could taste no liquor. It wasn't willed to the top except for ice which was packed. I pause $15 for a cup of water & ice. I regret not returning & complaining but I left into the ballpark & unfortunately did not. There was no excuse for this- they weren't busy, they could have made me a decent drink. I am a 59 year old woman who has done my share of drinking. I know when I've been ripped off. Unfortunately I waited too long. I expect that this bartender saw an older woman & tried to take advantage of me on game day. I'm just one person & you don't need my business obviously, but I will never eat or drink in there again & will never take my family in there either. You guys suck!

Marie C.

Yelp
A little packed but good vibes. My first time visiting. It's a first come first serve kinda place. You have to kinda wait a while and run for the first table that opens. We only waited like 5 min luckily. Our waiter was a little moody and non existent but the Manager was very nice. We ordered the nachos and they were packed full of flavor and the wings were just as good. The drinks were strong and delicious as well. I would definitely return to this place on my next Giants Game visit. Would have given this place 5stars if it wasn't for the service we got. Maybe it will be better next time ‍

Mike E.

Yelp
This is a "must-do" before any Giants game or Oracle Park event. You can even bring a drink into the ballpark that has a lower price. Great selection of drinks and food. Standing out is the service. We have always had exceptional service! Bar service, even right before game time, is quick. Just stand behind the bar stools and the bartender will find you. The absolute best at her job is Lisa. Her skills and efficiency is unmatched by any other bartender that I have seen in San Francisco.

Bella S.

Yelp
What's not to love about this spot! It's at the ballpark and the food is delicious as always ! It's very crowded on game days just so you know and they get you drinks pretty fast from the bar, only deducted stars cause it's kinda a free fall when trying to find your own table, but a definite plus is you can enter stadium from restaurant! Go Giants!!!

Justine Ray M.

Yelp
I heard the food sucks here. It's a spot to drink and not eat. :) chill spot tho! Looking forward to coming hella early one day and just chill prior. Restrooms are hella clean!

Knickerbocker R.

Yelp
I always get exceptional service when I visit during the baseball season. I have had everything on the menu and have enjoyed it very much. I loved the Mac and cheese and the chicken sandwich. I will work on taking more pictures of food. I just feel weird doing that sometimes. This place is worth arriving to a game early and going to public house. It has access to the stadium. I highly recommend.

LisaAnne H.

Yelp
LOVE this spot!!! Dedicated patron - they have NEVER let me down. PublicHouse (which is attached 2 SF's OracleStadium) does not stock any ingredients 4 "full throttle" shots - like FireBall, SkrewBall, etc. Do yourself a massive favor if U R early 4 a Giants game... Get in line @ PublicHouse and B part of the flood of people who make it inside PublicHouse 4 their 1st seating and/or those coveted bar-stools... I have NEVER eaten here as I am 1 of the crazies who lives 4 stadium/county fair/backyard BBQ food. Hitting PublicHouse pre-event saves a ton of $$$ when y'all consider the cost of alcohol a inside. Last week, my BFF and I had double Tito's/soda/cran/lime and we were READY 2 ROLL - till @ least the 2nd inning (ha ha ha). 5 phat stars from me... GO GIANTS!!!

Bombiz V.

Yelp
Good food. Good bartenders. The best part of having this restaurant next to the ballpark is you can bring your drinks into the ballpark. It is the best place at Oracle park.

Kim E.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal service! Lisa, the bartender (with the long hair) is amazing. She's so kind and friendly. And SO efficient! Watching her pour drinks is almost as entertaining as the game. The food is always great and the Public House is a staple of the ballpark experience!

Kary C.

Yelp
Vomited immediately after their Sandwich before the game Sunday. Come to find out my buddy also vomited for eating the same thing. No bueno. Service is minimal. Never will I eat or drink here

Tsing L.

Yelp
The hamburger was blah. Just a regular hamburger patty on a stale bun. Pickles, tomatoes, lettuce and onions. There was nothing special to justify the high prices. The french fries were cold and soggy. I should have eaten inside the ballpark.

Melad T.

Yelp
Public house is very convenient because you can eat and drink and walk straight into the Giants game. The food was good and the service was very quick. Highly recommend over any bar/restaurant nearby.

Stefanie C.

Yelp
It was a dark and stormy night. My friends and I had just wrapped up our Dungeons & Dragons campaign for the evening and wanted to go out to dinner... somewhere relatively close by and inexpensive. We'd gone to Epic Steak before, but it was a little too far to walk or bus in the rain. Someone suggested Public House, which was a brilliant idea. No one would be here during the baseball off-season. We walked in and found the place to be relatively empty, except for an alumni party happening in a semi-private section of the restaurant. Our waiter was super friendly and chill. He sat us at a giant table because why not? We ordered a pitcher of IPA, some fries, and dinner. I got the steak with garlic butter, which seemed appropriate for the environment. It was surprisingly good. I always assumed that "touristy" food would be subpar. Looking around, Public House is a great place to host parties or watch the game. I would never come here during a game day because I can't deal with crowds, but that's the perk of living walking distance from AT&T Park. Enjoy all the eateries when no one else is there. I'd definitely come here again!

Erik H.

Yelp
Decided to come here in the off-season before the games start. Always such a crowd on game day that I don't even bother anymore. Amazingly on Saturday night we walked in to an almost empty place and sat down to watch a Warriors game. It was nice to sit down with just a few other patrons there, have a burger, some mini corn dogs, some beers and nachos. Now don't laugh, but I love their nachos. They don't drown it in salsa to the point where the chips get flimsy. It is mostly beans and guacamole and the nachos are served on a crispy baked tortilla as well. Really great! The burger and onion rings were perfect along with the mini corn dogs. What really works in the offseason is that you can watch sports on multiple stations just as if you were your own living room and not having to deal with too many people if that is your preference.

Carissa H.

Yelp
The bar tender she was super rude she looked passed us and ignored us. She has long brown hair. She wasn't nice at all. And she tried dissing us and started talking crap that I asked can you help. I would not recommend this place. I even told another guy and he was protecting her. I wouldn't ever recommend this for anyone! So rude and so disrespectful!

Danielle M.

Yelp
Great place to grab food and drinks before a Giants game. It was busy but we were seated within a short wait. Our server was great and the food was delicious. My fiancé and I shared fish and chips and the chicken wings. The ranch that came with the wings had dill in it which really amplified the flavor. Only downside was it was a little pricey.

Jared F.

Yelp
Been here a few times before Giants games (we love the vibe and location before games). Food has always been average. However, my wife and I both shared the fish and chips and we both got food poisoning from it and were vomiting all day. From looking at other reviews, looks like we're not the first. Maybe some food handling training is needed

Kiko W.

Yelp
Always busy on game days . Bartenders are busy and seems like they don't care . We ordered 2 beers first, on the menu it says $11 but the bartender charged us $13 each ..... second time same thing! You can say you made a mistake on first time but second time...?! nah I don't think so ... they just try to take advantage of their customers because they think we are drunk and won't notice.

Ed U.

Yelp
So have you heard about the Impossible Burger? Well, Jamie W. read about it and thought we should try it here since we are on a continual quest to eat healthier. Sure, we've had veggie burgers before, some really good ones like the Black Bean Chipotle Veggie Burger at the Garden Grill up in Guerneville (photo: http://bit.ly/2sn9ifr) and our personal favorite, the Butterbean Burger at the Boiler Room Oyster Bar in Kinston, North Carolina (photo: http://bit.ly/2sAkJAS). So we were intrigued enough by this all-plant variation that we ordered a couple of the $14 ones they served here where our previous dining experiences involved jalapeno poppers, deviled eggs, their regular PH burger, and oh yeah, beer on tap to facilitate the guzzling of such cholesterol-infested grub. Well, apparently there is no cholesterol in an Impossible Burger nor antibiotics nor meat of any kind. What gives the burger its meaty flavor is heme, which is the non-protein, insoluble, iron protoporphyrin constituent of hemoglobin. Say what? I just copy-pasted that from an online medical dictionary, but that's what makes the patty look, smell, sizzle, bleed, and taste like a regular burger (photo: http://bit.ly/2rgs1pq). And amazingly it did. I was dumbfounded how a vegan burger could taste so carnivorous, but it did even if beef purists likely balk at the notion. It came with provolone melted on top with caramelized onions and a smoke & spice sauce to give it even more of a barbecue flavor (photo: http://bit.ly/2szkciw). Hell, I liked it. But it's not a perfect substitute since it has five times the sodium and more saturated fats than a regular burger. It's also about the same number of calories in case you are counting, about 220 calories for the patty itself. Give us credit though since we did add the $3 Mixed Greens as a side rather than the fries and ignored the free chips on our plates (photo: http://bit.ly/2rgljQn). We also went with a $6 order of the Crispy Cauliflower with Sweet Pepper Relish, which was a pretty healthy choice for a bar bite (photo: http://bit.ly/2t0UJvO). The vibe was still the same since it first opened, still an extravaganza of flatscreen TVs in a warehouse-size space with a lot of loud youngsters. Regardless, I'd still come back for the Impossible Burger. It was delish...and so good for me? FOOD - 4 stars...that Impossible Burger seems kinda impossible and a bit overpriced but the meatiness tastes real AMBIANCE - 2.5 stars...same loud, cavernous bar it's been since it opened SERVICE - 3 stars...perhaps tired from his shift, the first server seemed bored with us from the outset but the second was more enthusiastic TOTAL - 4 stars...definitely will come back for the Impossible Burger

Ben M.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try this place since it had its opening. Before it opened I was excited and now I'm finally here. It's like a dream come true. The burger the burger the burger ..... All I hear about is the burger. But it wasn't that great. Also not great is the seating on game night. There is no help, hang around until you spot something. If you get lucky you might get to fight for it. The food is high cost. But it's game night. Beers and burgers at the park. I'd love come and have a few drinks here after work when I'm not going to a game but why, too expensive. But overall of you want some drinks, some good food at the park before the game this place gets it done.

Lexi R.

Yelp
I came here to try the impossible burger. Walking in, I really like the ambiance of this sports bar. It's located right under at&t park. You can sit wherever you choose: the bar, the high top tables, at normals tables, or outside. There are TVs everywhere, so it's a good spot to watch sports. The impossible burger was just okay. Paired with sweet potato fries, it came it to $17 before tax and tip. Kind of steep. The consistency was a little closer to real meat than other veggie burgers I've tried, but the flavor was still off. Glad I tried it once though and at least the fries were yummy! I would come back to this place to watch a game and try some of the other foods they have to offer, but I probably wouldn't order the impossible burger again.

Alex C.

Yelp
Connected right to Oracle Park, I usually come here to get a drink before the game starts. Without fail, this spot is always popping on game day, and security and metal detectors are located at the front door to prevent people from sneaking in alcohol or other prohibited items. The bouncers and waitstaff that I've encountered have all been kind enough, however I've never sat down and ordered food here before so I can't speak on that aspect of this establishment. There are plenty of TV's all over this place to watch either the game going on, or other pre-recorded games prior to the game starting. Expect to pay ballpark prices for alcohol here (aka crazy high), however you can bring into the ballpark any drinks you buy here. There is an entrance directly into the park from inside the establishment.

Vanessa H.

Yelp
Been here so many times and was so excited for the food, but it sucked. Maybe they were just too busy. Idk some other plates with the same food looked better. I'm giving this 4 stars because the other times I was here were good experiences before the game.

Roshni G.

Yelp
Everything was 5 stars, Service, food, cleaniness, speed etc but I think it's wayyyyy over priced. Our lunch was over $75! Crazy! Just upgrade from chips to fries will cost like $3 extra smh. We came just for the impossible burger and it was good but a little dry. I wish I added avcado.

Marissa F.

Yelp
Oh it was fine. The beer was good, it was quiet. Service was nice. The public house burger was on point!! The chips- delicious!!! I'm sure for game day it would be Poppin' Nothing that particularly stood out here for me. Overall good

Fred T.

Yelp
We have been back and at the last game decided it was time to update my review. Public House was one of my first reviews here on Yelp........ Ah memories........ Its still holding onto its solid 4 stars. Its still pretty chaotic and they should perhaps explain the process better to people who have never been there. That being said, we did not have to wait long and soon found ourselves a table (carnival seating for those that have never been). Lots of draft beer to chose from and the food was good as always. For this meal: Truffle Mac and Cheese Fritters: The only letdown. I know better and always order it, but the cheap truffle oil is always a disappointment. The fritters were well fried but the mac and cheese was mostly mac and needed more cheese. It was also a bit bland. We asked for a side of BBQ sauce and that kicked them up. Corn: The Elotes was good, but I would prefer it grilled instead of boiled but perhaps that is more of a personal taste thing. The PH Burger: with bacon and the works it was really good. Cooked medium rare as requested it was juicy. The bun did not make it through the meal. The side salad was perfectly dressed and had really fresh greens. My son also had a burger with fries and the fries were well cooked and properly seasoned. Again the big plus to this place is that the beers are better, cheaper, can be put into a plastic cup to take into the stadium, and they have an entrance right in the back of the restaurant. The only caveat is that if it is a giveaway day, you do not get that item at this eneterance.

Howie L.

Yelp
No reason to visit unless there's a game. Typical bar and food. Pro tip: beers are cheaper than inside the stadium and you can bring your drinks in!

Edgar C.

Yelp
The waiter was crap!! Came over once, took our order then disappeared! Call him over to ask him about the drink I ordered, walked over, sort of kind of answered my question then disappeared! So fast I couldn't get the name on his tag! Highlight! The Giants ticket taker came out into the dinning room And handed out rally towels!!! Highlight! Giants ticket taker came out and gave away rally towels!! We tasted and left The drinks! They were godawful! I complained to the server and he said don't worry he would drink them! Total crap!

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Attached to the ballpark and probably packed on game days. Stopped by on a walk by the ballpark on a Sunday during nfl. You'd think with games on it'd be more crowded but it was pretty empty. Sat for a good 15 minutes with no acknowledgement. Our server was terrible, inattentive, a little rude. French fries were mediocre at best. After a few drinks it became apparent why nobody comes here. Would never stop in again unless I had to use the restroom.

Mabe S.

Yelp
This is a happening place at Oracle Park (formerly ATT Park). When it's time for a brewski before, during or after the game, there's no finer pub than the Public House. The place is a large decent size place to sit down , grab a bite and a brew. It's a classy place that can really get packed when the weather is nice or when the Giants are winning. The crowd and staff are courteous and inviting. Sometimes people get so comfortable, they forget they're here to watch a live game and are mingling the whole night away . It's all good.

Emmy L.

Yelp
I usually come here when I want to watch games with friends. It's connected to the AT&T park/Oracle park. So you can easily grab food after a game or if you don't want to spend money on game tickets, then this is the place to be at. Also, they have so many high definition TVs here. Food is a bit pricy, but drinks aren't that bad. My friends and I ordered: - $15 Nachos Cheese - $16 Fish & Chips - $15 Cubano and $3 Onion Rings - $7 Tahoe Mountain Beer - $8 SN Hazy Beer - $8 DFH American The nachos had a good amount of meat with the chips. It wasn't soggy either, so that's a good thing, lol. Fish & Chips had only 3 pieces of fish, but it was pretty big and bulky. So I guess it's worth the price? Hmmm. Onion rings were fresh and tasted delicious!! As for the cubano sliders, my friend said it tasted alright, lol. Overall, I think I enjoyed the drafts more than the food here.

Leslie R.

Yelp
Burger was juicy, wings were tasty... had the blushing giant cocktail, it wasn't that cold but it had ice in it... anyway just wish they had more on the menu... good spot to have a quick bite before the game and you can enter the Giants game from there too, no need to go out and stand in line.

Arthur O.

Yelp
Our hotel was right across the street from the stadium and we noticed that there really weren't that many bar and grilles around the stadium area and lots of people looking for one. We walked down to the Public House early enough to get a seat before the game and were sat right away. Our server was a very polite and prompt young man who checked up on us frequently. The menu was pretty limited and you had basic pub fare. We ordered the nachos with carnitas on them and it was just ok. I wish they had more choices of meat like asada or chicken. My wife and I just shared a burger and fries and it was a good burger. Lots of beer options and what was pretty cool, was that they have an entrance to the stadium in the restaurant. We had the opportunity to stay a little bit longer, order another beer, use the restroom and then go into the stadium with out having to go outside and wait in line. The gal scanned our mobile tickets at the entrance and we walked right into the stadium. It was a fun place to hang out pre game and then just walk into the stadium.

Janine C.

Yelp
Love that this place is right outside/next to AT&T Park. It's a nice bar/restaurant however, seating is limited, especially after a game. Anyways, the staff is nice and polite. I was a bit hesitant that we wouldn't be reached because you walk in and seat yourself (which i thought would make the wait staff work a little harder than usual because they'd have to keep up with who was coming in and out). The burger and the sandwich that we had gotten were perfect! Portions are great because my boyfriend and I were full leaving just a couple bites left. Everything tasted so fresh and prices are moderate for the city. We will be back.

David M.

Yelp
Plenty of televisions to watch out of town games. Service is impressive given how slammed it can be on game days. If you want a table, you need to arrive early as people tend to camp out at the tables until just before game time. If you can't beat then join them. It's what we do, but we do keep ordering drinks apps etc. Beer selection is superior to inside the park. Comparatively less expensive than inside where the lines are longer as well. BIG BONUS - You can take a walker straight to your seat if you enter through the gate inside the establishment. Be warned you won't get the give away if there is one. Bloody Mary was done well and the price wasn't bad for tho locale. Ended up having the huevos rancheros for breakfast and they were a solid foundation for around $10. This is a great add on to the rotation of pregame options for Giants games.

Judy S.

Yelp
We had the Impossible Burger ($14 each). You can replace the potato chips for fries ($3) and/or add bacon ($2). My Impossible Burger with bacon here was better than the Impossible Burger at Umami Burger. I'd also highly recommend the Churros ($7) - they are very churros con chocolate a la Spain with dipping chocolate. Unfortunately, the dipping chocolate is a little sweet, but pretty close! The ambiance is very bar. I'd recommend the outside space; the indoor space is a little dark.

Sylvia V.

Yelp
Will never go there again ..... bartender was super rude not just to us but everyone around the bar area wished we would have had the young lady that was there instead of him To top things off when he'd give me the bill after every round of drinks he'd hand me a credit card machine and the only option for me to tip was to automatically tip 20% I should be given the option to tip accordingly to service not what he thinks I should ! Seriously considering calling my credit card company and seeing what my options are with this situation

Willie F.

Yelp
What can I say about the Public House? It's at AT&T Park and has two bars. Every time I go here, it's extremely crowded because it's going to be right before a Giants game. And yes, we went to the Public House and won the game that night, so now I have to go to the Public House and order drinks before every game from now on. The food here in general is pretty good. It usually takes a while to get because of how busy it is before games. To be honest, I haven't ordered food from here for a long time now because inside the ballpark has some amazing food as well. The bars are a decent size, but it really gets crowded since they're parallel with each other right in front of the entrance way.

Claire W.

Yelp
I came here with my team on a weeknight for dinner to try the impossible burger and I must say that I am impressed. If you haven't heard about the impossible burger before, it is basically a burger patty that is plant based and doesn't contain meat - the perfect meal for vegetarians and vegans. I was really surprised by how good the burger was. It was juicy and even pink in the middle like a medium rare burger patty. I would recommend trying this! We happened to come on a game day so it was extremely crowded. I dont like that this place is self seating so there are always people standing around aimlessly waiting for a table or eating on counters or empty spaces they could find. It felt very disorganized. I also wasn't really happy with the service. Our server wasn't very friendly and seemed to rush us. I assume non game days are less busy so it may be better to visit on another day if it can be avoided.

Cindy Z.

Yelp
This is the gateway into AT&T/Oracle Park in which they even allow you to bring your beers inside the park saving you about $5 per beer. Our group of friends ordered a couple pitchers before heading inside. It was very difficult ordering at first since the two bars offered different types of drafts, so not everything is on the menu depending which side you are. I have stopped by before on a non-game day, which was pretty quiet. The real purpose of this spot is for a cheap and accessible pre-game to the Giants games.

Mark W.

Yelp
First thing first! If you're going to watch a game stop by here first. Best thing I've learned is you can take two drinks from here into the park! The drinks are more than half the price than inside and you can get good beers. Be sure to tell them to give you it to go otherwise they'll pour it in a glass. Getting into the park from inside is super easy and there's no line. No better way to wait before the game. It gets crowded but it's game day, it's crowded everywhere. While waiting we got the nachos. They were good but a little different. Basically comes out as one big nacho. They deep fry tortillas instead of cutting it up. It works out well. You can some soft and some crunchy parts but does get a little messy to share. Overall great place and great atmosphere before the game!

Brandon M.

Yelp
I would like to give a shout out to Nick and Thomas for making our experience at Public House the best ever. The staff that work here are always super nice and really care about the customers. Nick was super tentative and ensured that we had everything we needed. He is also a beer encyclopedia which made the beer ordering process very smooth. The food here is absolutely bomb, from the Impossible burger to the Churros with chocolate sauce. Don't even get me started on the extraordinary draft list and bottle selection; it was awesome. Public House is my go to spot.

Yelp
Have been coming here for over 3 years now since becoming a season ticket holder. I have always enjoyed the beer, drinks, the staff and atmosphere. Sometimes we stay and watch the games instead of going to our seats. We went this Saturday. Busy as usual, great atmosphere so was disappointed that the price of beer had increased $3.00. $26 for two beers...without tip, is outrageous. I am not cheap, but don't like feeling ripped off. Will be stopping by another institution on the Embarcadero prior to the next game.

Yelp
PLEASE NOTE: Thisis a game night review. Other than the convenience of being inside Oracle Park, there's nothing special about this bar. Depending on the type of beer or cocktail you want, you may find you have to go to two different bar counters to get it. The bartenders are too busy to have you pay for both drinks and go around and grab the "other" one for you. Smiles are not allowed here either. Next game, I won't be so lazy, skip Pubic House, and go across the street to Momo's!

Yelp
Not much going on here, even right before a game on opening weekend... the beer is okay, with a decent selection, however, the staff is cold and rude. We were told we could go outside to enjoy the patio with our beers and the server taking care of the patio was upset we weren't there to order food or beer through him. I understand sections, but make sure your staff doesn't say one thing, without the other being on the same page. I ordered an $11 beer, which for what the beer was, was not a terrible price (and the fact that beer in the pro costs $12.50 for a Coors light) but it was flat and stale, I have had this beer many times before and I know what it was supposed to taste like. The guy at the bar said sorry, but didn't offer to pour me a new one, or refund the original. We left with a slight sour taste in our mouths. Anyways, if you're going for a quick drink before a game, it's cheaper than MoMos, but not as fun.

Yelp
I came here recently after a giants game after hearing great things and had a great time. Upon arriving, we were told it was open seating and even though the game had just ended, we had no problem finding a table. Within minutes of sitting down, we were created by our waiter who took our drink orders. It should be noted that this place has an impressive beer list comprised of many locally brewed beers. After we ordered our drinks we decided to snack on appetizers and ordered the nachos. After ordering, our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was well presented. The food itself tasted great and the ingredients were of good quality and fresh. We also ordered desert which was just as good. As far as convenience goes, this place is only convenient if you are attending a giants game or live in the area. There is no parking nearby and traffic in the area is a nightmare. The inside of this place is plastered with televisions which would also make it a great place to watch the game if you can't get tickets. Just be warned, prices are a little higher than normal but that is probably due to it being located right outside the ballpark. Overall, I had a good experience and would come here again in the future.

Yelp
Management's name is Nick. He stands around texting behind the bar, leans along railings just watching everyone but doesn't help out himself. The bathrooms are a mess. Broken toilet paper dispensers, paper towel dispensers don't work. Bathroom locks are glitchy. Like don't stand around staring out windows when there is plenty of work to be done. He walked by several times and I never saw him talk to customers to even ask how they enjoyed their meal or their experience. When I came in with my boyfriend to order food he stood right in front of us on his phone and never acknowledged us. Terrible manager.
