We arrived for lunch on a Saturday before visiting the Eye Film museum. I had been eyeing (hehe) Public Space's instagram and menu for a while, and the space did not disappoint. The interior transported us; it's tasteful, contemporary, yet comfortable and inviting. We immediately felt peaceful. The people who greeted us were both laid back and attentive. The chefs behind the pass were cheerful and I really liked the whole vibe.
We ordered the bone marrow, kohlrabi, and pumpkin dishes. The plating and presentation for each dish was creative. Each dish's sauces were so good, we could have licked the plates.
They were generous with tap water (which can be rare in the Netherlands) and were laid back about us chilling on the couch after our meal, even gave us a carafe of water to make sure we didn't run out. My friend got a white chocolate chip cookie as we walked out and it was as delicious as the meal.
Do not miss coming here if you're in Noord!
