Yelp
First time here and loved it! The place itself had a lot of good seating and an outside patio too! The service was amazing and the two guys working were nice and had good vibes! I got a cold brew coffee with oat milk and toffee nut flavoring. The taste of the coffee was delicious! They also have the small ice that's fun! Will be back to try some more coffee and other menu items! They also have beer and wine that I want to come back and try!

Yelp
They just seem to know what makes coffee Work. Public Works is a coffee bar that has called Henderson's Water Street home for years and years. I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.

Yelp
This place has a cool vibe Coffee is above average I mean a place that serves wine and coffee in the same place you think would have more hipsters and less hendertuckians This is at the very tippy end of water street where you think "I didn't know this road went this far" I would come back to this place I will say if you sit outside you get to see that people do not know how to park

Yelp
Excellent service Excellent coffee Laid back atmosphere/ambiance is hipster This was my first time coming here, as every time I'm on Water Street, they are closed. I'm so sad that I've never been here before!!! This place is awesome! Coffee and some breakfast items are available in the mornings, and evening time they are a really cool wine bar (yes, yes, I will be coming back for vino!) Tons of seating available, and they have covered seating outside as well. Dog friendly patio, as far as I could tell, as well. Very clean and super cute indoor area. They even have live music on certain days. Swing by and support LOCAL! This place is better than Starbucks, for sure.

Yelp
I hadn't been here in a long while, and thought I'd give this place a go. My daughter and I ordered a PSL and a cinnamon roll. The coffee was not too bold, and the pumpkin flavor was not over the top or too light either. The cinnamon roll was fresh. They get them from Flemming's European Bakery on water street. I would have liked a few more options for food, but I understand that with fresh offerings, you get more selection the earlier you come. There wasn't a line when we arrived, and they were prompt with the coffee as well. We liked the comfy chairs they have available. However, they also have cafeteria style tables and high tops for people who need a workspace. I liked the phone booth of books. I thought that was a clever use of space. I was also surprised to learn about the attached wine bar. The last time I was here, that wasn't there...so it's been awhile. I'm glad I made it back.

Yelp
Because who doesn't want to go to a place that has wine on one side and java on the other. Hello? Party on the left and the right? Sign me UP! The hazelnut mocha was delish, not too sweet and with almond milk, sooo good. My companion's double espresso was doubly delicious and so was the avocado toast he inhaled. We sat at the bar jabbering for a few hours and the cute kids even gave us some waters while we lollygagged! We will be back!

Yelp
Stopped by after at an early Saturday morning and figured we'd try out their coffee and breakfast. They're located in the Water Street District and it was nice seeing that the area has been cleaned up. The coffee shop/wine bar has a cozy ambiance and is self seating, definitely would get crowded if you're here later in the day. We got two iced vanilla latte as well as the salmon lox toast and the Loraine quiche. Coffee came quickly and food took a while, big overall the wait wasn't too bad. Coffee is decent but not the most flavorful, and the food had good portions and plenty of flavor as well. There's not much service for the mornings, as you order at the counter and get your coffee and food from the counter when they're ready. They're also using disposable utensils and to go boxes, so it feels more of a grab and go place than a sit down, relaxing coffee spot. Give it a try when you're in the area!

Yelp
I paid a visit to nearby City Hall to drop off my electoral ballot and I decided to swing by Public Works Coffee Bar for a coffee and a light snack on my way home. This Public Works is the standalone location, with the other one being inside America First Center, the arena where the Silver Knights play. I've actually never been this far down Water Street before and was amazed to see new local business that I've never seen before, especially Public Works. There were a few parking spaces right out front, but despite the ridiculous heat that we're in right now, I chose to park in the parking lot just up the street and walk over because, I did not dare to parallel park on the street, which is something I haven't done since my driver's test over a decade ago. The staff was full of energy and were singing along to the early 2000's music playing. Heck, it made me want to sing along with them! With it being so hot outside, I ordered a large iced coffee with vanilla flavoring and a bagel with cream cheese as my light snack. They have a very nice, spacious patio outside but I chose to remain inside due to the heat. The coffee really hit the spot and it just burst with that vanilla flavor upon my first sip. The bagel with cream cheese, which was warmed up, was soft and had lots of added flavor to it with the cream cheese. I had the first half as my snack for that day and the second half as my breakfast the next day. The best part is that my bagel didn't dry out overnight, which meant it was still edible. I loved the phone booth inside which had books and Polaroids of random dogs! This reminded me of my recent trip to Europe, where I saw a real life but out of service phone booth in Scotland that resembled the one here. If you're in or around Water Street and need a coffee fix, Public Works is your place. Come check them out!

Yelp
I like going to local coffee places over larger chains, so when I saw this one I had to go. The drinks that I got tasted amazing. I got a honey/lavender iced matcha also an iced toffee-nut latte. The service was also fantastic. The girl at the counter was super sweet even though clover didn't want to load for her. The shop itself is super cute. I love the mural that's painted on the outside of the building, and the decor inside

Yelp
Excellent Service! The Staff is always friendly and helpful when we come here. This is our third time trying this place out and we loved it the first time! The problem is we enjoyed everything so much we kept forgetting to take pictures before eating. Love the Cuban Honey coffee, the Lavender, Caramel and Chocolate Latte. The Lox and Bagel is to die for, if you want to share ask for it open faced, and my number one favorite is the Avocado Pesto Toast! I will eat this until the Apocalypse!!!

Yelp
This coffee shop is in the water district in Henderson and is nicely decorated. We had the matcha honey and cheese egg bites and both were good. The service could be better but will try again.

Yelp
Been here before but it was crowded and noisy so we haven't been back. This Saturday around 11:30am was perfect. There were some ppl there but plenty of seats/tables to enjoy. They have slightly renovated since the last time I can here with nicer bar stools and nicer furniture. Looks like they are going to stay open later this June as they are opening a wine bar of sort. Can't wait for it. The coffee is always nice here to enjoy. We got our lattes and worked away. WiFi was easy to connect. Very clean shop. Workers were all attentive and there were a steady amt of ppl coming to grab their day's coffee fix. Plenty of seatings outside as well. It was too windy today for us to sit outside but would love to do that on a nice day.

Yelp
Great coffee bar. Nice outdoor seating area in downtown Henderson. Nice bar seating food was OK, and service also OK. Seems like a place for regulars, a place to go and relax and waste a few hours on a Sunday Morning. Enjoy.

Yelp
Such a cute place! They offer wine and coffee there & you can also read books! The service is spot on!

Yelp
Good spot for a cup of coffee and conversation! Nice patio area and located on Water Street in Henderson. Coffee was solid, service good so pop in here for a cup of anything and enjoy the day!
google avatar

Yelp
The hostess was awesome! The couple we were with were coffee drinkers and we are wine drinkers, so we were both satisfied! The setting was perfect and we were able to relax while watching people walk by on Water street!

Yelp
This is a very cute coffee shop / wine bar. There is good seating and in an open and bright atmosphere. I ordered my usual latte and on the downside what I received was a cappuccino. But, it was a pretty good cappuccino with nice froth. The temperature was good and it was served in a real mug which I like, but it was a coffee mug and not a latte mug so that could be improved. Overall, it has a nice homey vibe and is a pretty good spot for your coffee fix.

Yelp
Seriously SO cute! Dogs welcome. Great place to study/work! Outdoor patio. A little pricey but worth it for the ambiance . I got the Matcha latte. Very good! And Avocado egg toast - really good but not much food for $10. Think I will try the bagel options next time

Yelp
I can't believe it took me this long to try this place! What a gem. Good food. Good coffee. Great ambiance. Nice staff.

Yelp
Love the coffee here! Must try the specials because they are fun and delicious. I tried the psyduck, and it was so good - loved the butterscotch flavor. Our group met there in the conference room, and it was a great morning meeting spot. There is a parking lot off to the side plus street parking. Easy to walk up to and order. Eclectic artwork inside and a huge mural outside. Really nice spot to grab coffee and connect with friends or business associates.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and they still don't disappoint! Recommendations: CUBAN HONEY (hot) FUNKY MONKEY (hot) Both of these drinks are SO good. If you're looking for a quality latte in the area, this is your spot!

Yelp
Stopped by during the "Shop Small" event to redeem a hot cocoa. I was in awe of the space! It is so industrial and sleek, yet felt very inviting. There were multiple areas to work and lounge. I wish this was closer to my home because I would be a frequent flyer! Coffee smelled amazing as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool coffee shop! I got a hot cocoa from here and it was delicious! Definitely stop by

Yelp
Great espresso is of vital importance, so I try to find a great shop wherever travels might take me. On a recent soccer trip to the Las Vegas area, it was great to find fantastic coffee at Public Works. This was the best espresso we had in the area by a wide margin. Beans seemed to be freshly roasted. The baristas made high quality drinks, and the service was fast. the shop is in a sleek, brand-new industrial space, and it looked brand new. Great coffee in a nice setting!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun little spot on Water Street!! The service is always on point and everyone seems to be in a good mood and actually happy to be at work. Great job to the team for creating the right work environment. The blended tres leches is....... Absolutely . If you like horchata, this is the drink for you. We haven't tried anything else because we love it so much. The only small complaint if you can call it a complaint is that they run out of their pastries quickly, so if you come in later then there might not be any left. Overall it's a 10/10. Great job public works!!

Yelp
Please bring one to LA !! Unique flavors and combinations Absolutely delicious coffee and bakery goods. So fresh and high quality ingredients A Must Try!
google avatar

Paula S.

Yelp
The place was nicely decorated but it becomes a wine bar starting at 3pm daily until closing time. I went there for a cup of tea and a pastry but they had only 1 type of cookie left by through me I arrived at 8:30 m. But, the Services's pleasant and the 1 vookie( white chocolate and strawberry ) was very tasty. The total bill was $9 or so for a cup of tea and 1 cookie? That was a slightly higher than Zi expected considering the place and location, on a dark street near downtown Henderson. They also have a pleasant outdoor by area, which O would utilize if I go there again, but that would only be if I went for a glass of wine with friends on a pleasant early fall evening!

Yelp
Public Works Coffee Bar has a great space filled with amazing art. The coffee is fresh, and delicious. The barista's were so friendly and helpful picking me an iced coffee with heavy cream, and cinnamon. Thank you for having low carb options.

Yelp
First time here, very spacious coffee shop, the person who took our order was very nice, I got the treas leches honestly it was ok, wasn't sweet , tasted like milk and cinnamon I don't recommend this at all.... Giving four stars only for great customer service

Yelp
I have come here quite a few times since my initial review because I love introducing this place to people who have never heard of it (or just didn't know what Water Street is becoming). Everything I said before stands and I actually think they've gotten better over time. The shop itself is cute with plenty of seating and a really nice vibe. You could hang out here all day if you wanted. The drink selection is fantastic and when they say something is going to taste like this or that, they aren't lying. And that espresso kick is a hard one (in a good way). I have found my true favorite drink, the Cuban Honey with Oatmilk but I see that that's one of the most popular flavors. I understand why. I can't walk away from this review without mentioning how great the service is in here. I mean, stellar. Not once have I felt like I wasn't welcome.
google avatar

Nico U.

Yelp
Only reason we stayed was because we needed the coffee. Poor customer service. I don't need the attitude when being told I could not park in the parking lot that is right in front of the place. If you want people to come back, then drop the condescending tone. I'd you can't, then work in the back. Not coming back.

Yelp
Little Coffee Bar on water street! With Amazing staff and great drinks with chill vibes for hanging with friends. They also have charging stations if you need to work on any assignments

Yelp
This place has a great vibe. Chill, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and seem to know a lot of regular customers by name. I love that this place is in the neighborhood but as for the three out of 5 stars here's why. I ordered a mexican hot chocolate breve. It was not good. They used a powdered mix that was bland, overly sweet and generic, the cinamon likewise and way too much foam. If youre going to do hot chocolate at this level of establishment then at the very least get a dark chocolate syrup instead of powdered packet. Best would be to use actual melting chocolate in the steamed milk but maybe its too expensive. Also, a little cayenne with the cinamon would round out and brighten the flavor of the chocolate. Just suggestions. For the quiche, the mushrooms were a bit watery, they were not sauteed long enough or at all and werent seasoned prior to the mix. The gruyere should be shredded and mixed in, i literally found 1 piece near the top and it didnt really flavor the whole dish. The rough puff performed well but because of the size there is very very little egg mix in the filling. If you called this a croissant it would be more accurate. To assist these mild flavors the quiche could really do with some strong herbs like rosemary or thyme. Looked impressive, tasted disapointing. I hope this business does well, just a few tweaks here and there and it would be phenominal. Best of luck.

Yelp
We had a super long wait to get our passports and stopped nearby for a quick coffee to wake up. It was very clean inside, with a fair amount of seating outside. The orange/steel color scheme helps this cute shop stand out among the buildings. I only ever really drink Starbucks (I know, crucify me), so I asked the barista what she'd recommend that is slightly sweet but not over the top. She seemed a little unenthused/unhappy to be there, and recommended a vanilla caramel latte. I've read a few other reviews that state the customer service is pretty awful, but I would say it was more lackluster for us than outright bad. My drink was super tasty. It was the right sweetness for me, but I'm sure for coffee connoisseurs it'd be too sweet. The price was fine - what you'd expect for a modern looking coffee chain. I prefer Daily Spark's brew to this spot, though.

Yelp
Checking out this local coffee spot for Yelp's Vegas Like a Local since it's so close to me and on one of my favorite places now, Water Street. Loooove the vibe in here. There's a parking lot right next to the building with lots of parking, so you don't have to worry too much about parking on the street if that's something you're concerned with. The outside patio is so nice and overlooks Water Street. I wish I got here a little earlier so I could have sat out there haha. But it was all taken by the time I got here. I walked in, and there's lots of space to work in here. They even have a conference room which I'm assuming you can rent out. If my boss, Abby, is reading this, it would be a great spot to do regional week. Just sayinnnn. ;) But anyway, lots of space to work and enjoy your cup of joe. I love the decor in here, too. They have some Knights gear, which of course I love. Even a funny sign of the Lord's prayer, but hockeyfied. It made me LOL. The girl helping me decide on my coffee was sooo helpful. I told her I had never been here before. She helped me pick what to drink and recommended the cuban honey which is on the barista's specials. She said it had cinnamon and was delish. How could I say no? I got it with oat milk. It's delicious and I'm loving it already. The music in here is a lot more upbeat than your typical coffee shop, which I like. It's putting me in such a good mood. I love it. The staff here is also having a lot of fun and talking and laughing, and one of them even apologized and said sorry he was so loud. I said noooo I love it, it makes working here more fun haha. Seriously, the people working here, just wanna be friends with them all. This was my first visit to work, but it definitely won't be my last. I will definitely be working from this spot more often, and it's less than 10 minutes away from my house. Can't beat that.

Yelp
Stopped in here this morning after reading the positive reviews. I was disappointed in the quality. I thought it was going to be a bit more " homemade " instead of processed. As the other poster said just like Starbucks. I was looking forward to trying the quiche from the posted pictures. Instead got a cheese Danish, didn't see the quiche. As you can see in the picture not very appetizing. Tasted like un-cooked dough with cheeses. Vibe was kinda weird too. Several eyes did the head to toe look, I'm not a regular. The counter help was abrupt and on to the regular in line behind me before even putting my change in my hand. It was interesting there. Not a coffee drinker so won't be going back.

Yelp
Cute hipster coffee shop with tasty lattes and friendly staff. Located in old part of Henderson in a new modern building, with a nice outdoor seating. Staff is very knowledgeable about the product and have offered good suggestions. Pastries selection seems ok while savory offerings seem to have been sold out by 9AM. Interior is modern, but few things do not fit the hipster modern setup such as the old English phone booth. Overall better than average but not a wow either.

Kaitlin M.

Yelp
First time at Public Works/Azzurra Wine Bar and it was excellent! America was very attentive to us and so sweet, made our experience even better. Will be coming back!

Yelp
This was the perfect spot for a caffeine fix after lunch at Juan's down the street. Public Works is one of the great businesses that has me excited to visit Water Street these days. Parking was easy with a big lot next to the building. The building they are in has a cool large city downtown feeling. The inside of the shop is clean and industrial. The service was friendly and welcoming. Our order was prepared before my toddler lost patience. The quick service was appreciated. My husband and I loved our lattes. My Iced Cuban Honey Latte was the perfect combination of flavors. The honey and cinnamon didn't overpower the coffee. My husband's Iced Snickers Latte was one of the sweetest coffee drinks I've had which is why he loved it. People that love sweets will really enjoy this one.

Yelp
Swanky little coffee spot in downtown Henderson. This place has open windows to let light in and also a solid coffee selection. I orderd the Cuban Honey (hot) and it was perfectly sweetened with honey. This was satisfying. When they called my order they included a cookie to celebrate their birthday. Great day to show up, Happy Birthday Public Works. Come check them out for a nice coffee experience.

Yelp
I am always on the lookout for a nice coffee shop to study at. I'm not from the area, so I came on Yelp to find a place to study. The ambience of this coffee shop is nice. It's not too noisy here and I was able to get a lot of studying done. I think that they also serve beer here. The baristas us were really nice and they answer Any questions that you might have. I ordered the honey Matcha latte and it was really good. Not overally sweet, but you could still taste the honey flavor. Overall overall if you're looking for a nice place to get some work done and a warm drink, you should definitely give this place a try.
google avatar

Yelp
We love public works! The coffee is consistently made every time. Great quality and the service is awesome! Always friendly and remembers our orders! Delicious pastries and breakfast wraps too. Highly recommend. We love this place.

Yelp
Stopped by this coffee shop in downtown Henderson. There's limited offerings probably due to the holidays or covid. The Cuban Honey drink tastes like a dirty chai but the added honey gives it a smoother finish. Blended strawberry smoothie was very creamy and tastes like an ice cream shake. The drinks were good so I'm excited to try more. Hopefully they expand their food selection again.
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee at a great price. The employees are always so nice and they are willing to try to replicate drinks from other places for you. I love that they also have a variety of breakfast items both hot and cold. Their breakfast burritos are really good and filling. They also have the typical selection of muffins and pastries. However, their cheese danish is out of this world. Not only does it taste fresh from a bakery, but it is seriously massive. I was surprised at the size but was not disappointed. All their pastries can be warmed up or served cold. I recommend going the warm route because it tastes so much better! I work super close to this location and it is nice grabbing some food and coffee before the start of my day. For drinks, I recommend their macchiatto or a vanilla latte with cinnamon! If you are not a coffee drinker, they have a great selection of tea and hot chocolate as well. Not to mention they have a decent selection of juices, waters and other misc drinks. Definitely check this place out! You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I've been coming here on and off for months for the sole reason that it's out of my way. But absolutely worth the trip! Staff is quick and friendly every time, and their coffee is CONSISTENTLY delicious. My one complaint is that I typically never get up early enough to try their pastries before I sell out! But thankfully today I broke the streak, and got to have a sticky bun with my coffee! They also have super cute sweatshirts & t shirts for sale in the shop. Insanely cute shop, great coffee, great location. I always recommend the Cuban honey with oat milk!! SO good!

Yelp
Great coffee, staff is friendly and remembers what drink you get after a few visits. Make sure to sign up for their points rewards after so many you get a free drink.

Yelp
Love ordering the matcha honey latte every time! My husband loves the peppermint white chocolate mocha.
