The Publican

Stopped in this bar for one drink whilst visiting Beaune. This has a traditional pub / casual vibe. It also has a large screen for sports and snacks available. This would be ideal later in the evening for a small group.

A great little bar with a lively atmosphere, 3 minutes walk from the centre of Beaune. On offer, a simple, light bar menu, I can recommend the charcuterie board, with some great accompanying wine. The bar staff were friendly and could speak English, which was a bonus, and proved to be a good alternative to a sit-down meal at one of the many excellent restaurants in Beaune.

Excellent place for drinks, a bite to eat and great company. A sociable joint with a great crew behind the bar. We dropped in every day of our five day stay in Beaune. I highly recommend!

The bartender-maybe the owner 😉was very hostile to us - foreigners. He was making fun of us. The bottles of wines were incredibly expensive. So we easy left this place and found much better place/bar with nice and friendly staff. In my opinion this bar is oriented for local people only.

this is probably the only pub we can find in Beaune showing sports games. We had a great time watching euro cup final. there are some foods enough to fill us up while waiting and watching the game. The only tiny thing is they don't have WiFi for guests

Fantastic beers on tap, snacks menu, great waitstaff. The people here are super friendly and attentive. I LOVE the back patio to sit outside in the sunshine, along the little creek, and people watch. Indoor seating with TV and also tables out front to watch the street scene. They also provide a small bowl of nuts with your drink. Wine, beer, and hard alcohol. Honestly, the perfect stop for a pint in Beaune.

Excellent and very comprehensive wine list, delicious food, and great space. The terrace is particularly nice in the summer. The owner is super friendly and fun to chat with. We came here every day while we were in Beaune. Absolutely recommended.

A great spot in one of my favorite towns. Very welcoming to people who's first language isn't French. You can tell the guy who I presume is the owner is very passionate about beverages and the opportunity to share the ins and outs of Beaune, Burgundy wine, and the French language. I would highly recommend coming here, especially if you're a tourist! The food was good too.

This part is the home for locals in lb as one we want then we saw the owner and staff of the restaurant we ate in our first night in barn. They don't offer a large menu but we ordered a cold salmon dish which was outstanding think smoked cured salmon on a play seasoned with lemon and some herbs. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The pub was incredibly clean and set up in a charming way period

This place was very close to our hotel and we wanted a couple of beers and a snack. They had a good variety on tap and a charcuterie/fromage plate that was very good. Obviously a local hangout, it was fun to people watch. They played some Hawaiian and Jamaican music, bartenders wore Hawaiian shirts.... We had a blast!
