Love the vibe of restaurant. Super easy going. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a menu of five courses. Food had good flavour profile, visually appealing and good portion size. Wine pairing was good and quite original. Love the option of half glass pairing for ones who like to taste and not get tipsy. Overall very good experience. They change their menu seasonally…looking forward to our next visit :)

Came here with my bestie for a 3 course dinner and it was a really nice experience. We were served a different wine before and after each course and they were delightful. My favorite would be the wine served before dessert, which was a not so sweet red ish one. The food was exquisitely presented and tasted delicious. The texture, the colors, the smells and the flavors were on point and I enjoyed all the courses. The service was friendly, informative and helpful. The ambience was really nice and the location is cute too. Price in comparison to the experience seemed fair to me but in general terms may be considered high. Keep up the good work and see you soon.

Restaurant Publique is a nice place. - cozy atmosphere and nice interior. The signature menu was a great experience and very delicious. The service staff made it a great evening and we felt very welcomed.

Went on a solo trip. Such lovely staff that really made me wonder why I chose to live in the UK. Food was the best I’ve had so far in this week’s trip to the low countries. Their vegetables were the best - preferred that over the pork - and dishes go well with the recommended wine pairing. Tables were comfortably spaced.

Excellent food preparation, even though the dishes were very tame. The most exceptional service (really felt very special). I wish i could afford to eat there more frequently! But at a price of nearly 50e for lunch (social deal discount + water and a glass of wine), it was not affordable to me. Well worth, though. I had a wonderful experience.

We had the 4 course lunch menu. The food was great, service was fast and attentive. They were polite and friendly. We sit outside but the interior is also really nice. Restrooms are clean and stylish. All went good until the last part. It seemed that they got a bit busy or confused by the end of our experience and somehow forgot about us. It was difficult for me to see them if they are there or not to ask for the bill as I was seated with my back to the whole place. So took a while until I gave up and walked in for the bill. This would be okey in an average restaurant but this place is clearly not in that league. Hence the 4 star. We will go back though and try other things and see if it can be flawless.

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were absolutely lovely. The quail dish was delicious as was the beef. Unfortunately though the sprouts dish didn’t make any sense to me as a flavor combination and also was too many sprouts compared to the size of other dishes and some of the others weren’t very flavorful, which was a shame.

A restaurant at one of the most beautiful squares in the centre of The Hague, with a fine and creative kitchen on its way towards the stars of cuisine. You are seated in a tastefully designed modern and elegant ambience. The service is extremely friendly and alert. The menus are very good proportioned, each portion perfect. Great sauces and reductions, each dish was delicious and creatively served. Good matching wines with each dish. A lot of quality for the price. There have been things forgotten by the waiters, when we ordered for another bottle of water and an extra glass of wine - I believe this is by coincidence and not the regularity. I am curious how this kitchen will develop further!

Dry nice place. Food was okay but not out of this world. Service wasn't great. Slow.

I had a 3 course meal with a colleague. It was a very quiet evening - only a few other tables were occupied. However, this is indeed a fine restaurant. We started with the crab dish, then had the pheasant and the plum dish for desert. These dishes were all quite interesting. Perhaps the best was the plum desert. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and one of the best restaurants I have been to in the Hague - and I have been to dozens having spent much of the past 20 years visiting for work assignments.

I came here for a 3 course menu with a large party (work dinner). Service was lovely as the staff was very attentive and explained everything we ate. We had one vegetarian in the post and they were very accommodating with the diet restrictions. Plates are small but delicious and everything is plated in a beautiful way. I had a sponge thing (picture attached but I forgot of what. It was seafood in nature), then there was scallops, chicken for main course and dessert (also pictured). Wine was well paired with all dinner plates. I really recommend the restaurant as we all enjoyed the meal. Even the bread and butter was to die for!

Nice food, but over priced. Personnel very professional and nice with guests. The outdoor terrace is truly pleasant. Small portions (probably normal for The Netherlands).

Publique was a wonderful dining experience...I was traveling with a colleague, and we were staying just across the way from this lovely modern spot...We came in a bit early vs. the local crowd, but that gave us a chance to meet the owner...Ben, I believe, who recommended our plates and wine...great food and atmosphere, terrific wine list...I intend to go back to publique in next time I'm in Den Haag...

Really nice restaurant! Excellent dishes, Good Service and handsome host! Deserve 5 Stars!
