Wow! What an amazing little spot. Puccino’s home of the “real” Italian coffee. So convenient for ya’ll coming across the Causeway. Indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing breakfast and anytime selections. The barista was spot on with the drinks. The vibe is alluring. Free Wi-Fi. Seriously, this is a go-to type of place. There are other locations of one's closer for you, but it is absolutely worth a visit!!

Google
Outstanding eclectic little place. Would love to visit more often. Coffee drinks were tasty, fun, delicious. I took pictures of the fun. Locals hang out as many table were busy with workers on laptops. My business associate loved his biscuit sandwich.

Google
Quirky place. Coffee is okay. The staff is pretty friendly. The decor is really tacky and the music is noisy. Bring headphones if you’re coming to study. It’s a nice place to hang with friends if you don’t mind the noise and gaudy decor. There is outside seating as well. They charge for WiFi. Who does that? Overall, if you’re desperate for coffee and a study space, this will do.

For $8, I purchased a cheese sandwich that I found to be unreasonably priced. The coffee was good, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Google
The bagels are the quality that you would find at a 7-11. My iced caramel coffee was terrible, with like 4 ice cubes in it- it was just lukewarm chemical tasting bath water. The orange juice is from a bottle and tinted brown- and i doubt it has any actual juice in it at all. Not that it’s their fault, but maybe test the products that you sell. terrible donut- stale. The staff bicker with each other and are rude and slow. Outrageously overpriced- starbucks costs the same, and this place has 10% of their quality and service. And they use SO MUCH PLASTIC - I have never seen a business care less for the environment. butter, jam, cutlery, plates, cups, cream cheese, salt and pepper all come inside packaging (for indoor dining). And plastic bottle drinks, and then no recycling is offered. order food at counter then bring it to your table, and then bus your own table. Never Again for me. Should have just ate in my own kitchen.

Google
Kind of a bizarre place. I don't even know how to describe it. Coffee for sure but it goes on from there. Lots of clutter and trinkets and signs. Maybe it has a local following but as a first time visitor I couldn't figure out what all was going on.

Devon King

Google
The coffee is pretty good. Kind of pricey for a small coffee but nothing too absurd. The decorations are kind of tacky. It looks like they slapped a hodgepodge of décor taken from the 50's and the ruins of Jazzland onto the walls. Most things have gold trim to make it extra gaudy.

Good place to stop for a bite to eat. Great service as well. Stop on in they have something for everyone

Yelp
I ordered the wrong drink but the granita was pretty good. Quick service. I'll definitely be back and get the granita and the frozen drink I was supposed to get.

Yelp
I wanted to try a new coffee spot on my way to work. I've been noticing Puccino's and wanted to give it a taste. Well, I wasn't impressed at all. I thought it being less of a corporate feel, I would have had great customer service. WRONG! When it was my turn to order, the person on the speaker had asked me to pull up and order at the window. However, the car behind me pulled up to the speaker and had started their order. I was a bit confused, but hey I just wanted my morning coffee. When I had arrived at the window, I ordered ONE drink, just ONE DRINK and I felt rushed. The person at the window was rude. She was obnoxious and grabbed the clipboard from me. I don't understand their customer service. Won't be back! SIDENOTE: can someone let me know if I was on Punkd?

Patricia R.

Yelp
I swung through Puccino's drive thru today for a hot mocha in the middle of a storm. The service was quick and friendly. I was in and out of the parking lot in no time at all and the mocha was delicious.

Jessica D.

Yelp
I'm changing my review because I think the manager is really wonderful. I can tell that he is patient and works really hard. Unfortunately, it can be hard to find good employees sometimes. This is a good place if you just need a snack, a coffee, and a place to hang out and do work, send emails, etc.

Leesa T.

Yelp
Raised prices???? The menu says one price. You are charged another price. Not the time for that bullshit. Won't be going back

Steve L.

Yelp
I love love love frozen capuchino!!!!!!!!! I didn't get any food from this location but the last time i got food at Puccino's it was bomb

Alyssa D.

Yelp
I've been coming to this location since it opened (years ago) because I LOVE puccinos and this one was the closest to my house. I went through the drive thru almost every morning during high school. The baristas knew my sister and me, and would even ask how college is going after I graduated. About 3 years ago, the service went downhill fast. I've always ordered the same drink, and I've had one barista correct the way I ordered it. Regardless of how I order my drink, they always taste awful. The only safe drink to get is a granita because it's premade. Since I'm in town for thanksgiving, I came here this morning to do some schoolwork. There was one person inside, a man who is here reading every day, and one person in the drive thru. As soon as a walked in, the only barista working started ranting to herself, "Jesus christ y'all don't have jobs or something to do? Y'all don't have thanksgiving sh*t to be at like f***. Y'all HAVE to get drinks right now?" EXCUSE ME MAAM. So I left. I totally understand working near a holiday. I've done it before. And if you're going to complain about working, at least be good at your job.

Tony L.

Yelp
A simple Puccinos. I typically come here once a week. The wifi works majority of the time. Coffee is constant. Always ask for a primo for the extra kick. Deserts options always seems fresh. Clean restrooms at this location. Parking tends to get tight at times. The barista is nice.

Yelp
I can't even express my disappointment on the almond croissant I just bought at this place. My first croissant, the attendant warmed it up in a microwave and it was so rubbery I had to return it for another one that was not microwaved. The second one was so hard, dry, cold, and old, that it was inedible. I didn't want to return it and cause any more stress to the attendant who obviously looked like she was over her head. I just came home and threw away this pastry. It was not even worth giving it to my dogs. Cappuccino was great. Maybe this place just needs to focus on what they are good at, and that is serving good coffee. Stay away from the food and pastries which is obviously not their strength.

Nyky L.

Yelp
Had a cappuccino and one coffee with a warmed cinnamon roll. All really tasty and reasonably priced. Staff was very nice gave us a discount for having to wait for service. Cute little coffee shop.

Jorge B.

Yelp
The coffee was marginally acceptable. It was very bitter. I ordered an espresso and had to add extra sugar. I wouldn't go back if I lived in N.O.

Katie D.

Yelp
Popped my Puccino's cherry at this location's drive through. I ordered and iced coffee and a latte, the guy working repeated my order to me and I confirmed it. We had to wait at the pick up window for quite awhile and when he finally gave us our beverages, the iced coffee ended up being a hot coffee. I didn't have time to wait any longer to have him correct the order so I was stuck with this coffee that was not good. It tasted burnt and I ended up throwing it away after a few sips. Never again!

Ava F.

Yelp
This has become my favorite Puccino's location, though, i loved the original and even the one behind lakeside and frequented the one in harahan on dickory; on my last trip especially, my daughters were blown away by our drinks, consistently delicious, even when there was a mix up once, i still loved the drink i received

Jenn J.

Yelp
First great experience in Puccinos thanks to James! Very knowledgeable & friendly. Actually customer service oriented, not just an order taker. I finally got enough insight to try out the frozen green tea and it didn't disappoint. It's just as James described and in less than 2 minutes by the way. Doesn't take much to go the extra mile. Puccinos you got it right with this guy!

Yelp
Went through the drive-thru at this location this morning. Wasn't even sure they were open as there was nobody to be seen anywhere. I ordered an iced coffee and tried to order hash browns but I was told the only thing available was a sausage biscuit and grits. So that's what I got. Sausage biscuit pretty good, big. Grits decent. Tastes like they were already seasoned which I like. Iced coffee is good too, and they filled it to the top which I appreciate. Service was kinda mehhh. It appeared that there was only one girl running the whole show. She kinda threw an i-Pad thing at me and said "select an amount" which was for tip. Not sure how I feel about that approach. My whole breakfast was only $5.38. All in all a decent quick breakfast. Which is exactly what I wanted.

Mad L.

Yelp
They advertise as the biscuit queen, but never have any of the ingredients they display for them. It's ridiculous to run out of peanut butter or bananas when the location is right next to TWO grocery stores. They also have a HUGE sign right when you walk in advertising for the "farmers daughter" breakfast bowl. I ordered and they said "we don't carry that at this location." I responded "but what about the sign". They responded "you should ask the owner about that." So I found that all very weird. Their drinks are good and always in stock. But they need to get their act together on the breakfast and customer service.

Lj H.

Yelp
Horrible service. And, whoever is in charge of inventory should be fired. I have been there 3 different times to get hot chai latte and was told they had none. Yesterday I ordered 3 coffees and 2 biscuits - I was told they had no drink carriers. Driving to work with 3 drinks was quite interesting and biscuits were awful hard as rocks. The best part is I had to cancel my debit card because the man at the drive through said he gave it back to me, he did not. I don't know if it fell on the ground or behind a counter or what. I like to support the local coffee houses (no Starbucks) but this particular Puccino's will not be one I support.

Jordan W.

Yelp
Tried to grab a coffee real quick before work, cashier said two coffee and I corrected her and said only one coffee and she looked at me like I had two heads. She still charged me for two. Then when I pointed it out she unapologetically said it's going to take ten minutes to fix which I didn't have the time to spare. Ten minutes to fix an error on their end is not reasonable for a drive thru coffee in the morning. So I ended up paying $10 for my one coffee.

Amber A.

Yelp
Went Sunday morning, was not busy. Had a simple order at the speaker. Got to the window and had to give them my order again. Had to pull over, which was not a big deal, to wait for my food and drinks. Food was brought out but no drinks. Had to again repeat half of my order. Never once was the employee apologetic for the service.

Kelsie B.

Yelp
Great coffee but it's really frustrating how the sausage biscuits are NEVER available/ready in the morning. I've been multiple times at 6:30 am and I am told EVERY time that they are not ready. They open at 5:30, why are they not ready?!

Emily L.

Yelp
I paid $4 for a blueberry scone. Pulled it out at work and it was hard as a rock, covered in pale green fuzz, and had three small hairs scattered across the crust. I tried to call to warn them not to sell any more of those scones, but the phone was never answered. The line picked up once and then hung back up immediately. So...didn't want to post a review at all, but here we are.

Yelp
Used to love this place back when it opened. They had some of the BEST employees (Cam and Vanessa) in the past 3 years. But recently, this place has gone down very fast. The employees are too busy yelling at each other to figure out what the order is, I asked for a mocha and had to remind the barista (Jen) at least 3 times that I got mocha in it. Then when she brought it up she still forgot it so when I reminded her again to put it in, she took the lid and straw off, put it on the dirty counter, then put the straw back in my drink. Then I ordered a croissant sandwhich which clearly states it comes with 2 eggs, but had one itty bitty egg patty in it. Honestly so upset with this branch of one of my favorite local coffee chains. Won't be back to this location if management remains the same.

Steven S.

Yelp
The best place to go on Vets. They changed their staff recently, so their service is so much better. Unlike the dumb trucks who comment on how rude and obnoxious the staff is and the location and never go back, this little place is a great place to relax. It's free wifi, you just got to ask nicely to use it. Plus on some days or nights, there is this cute chick who works there is a delight to talk to. Don't know her name but she is very nice to people who are on dates. That's all I have to say! If you want to know more go check it out yourself!!!

Melissa S.

Yelp
I love Puccinos granitas, I love drinking them every morning when I go to work at 6am, but when the store's hours are up the discretion of the employees (some days they are open and some days they are not) it leads to many disappointing mornings. After numerous attempts to contact their management about the actual hours of the new store given the three days in a row that a person has been in the store with the lights off, there has been nothing but radio silence. For this reason, they get 1 star. Nothing worse than going to work without your coffee. To make matters worse my husband and I went there one Sunday and it took 30 minutes (no I am not exaggerating) for them to pour a pre-made granita into a cup and heat up a croissant. The service at this location is atrocious. And on another note - always go through the drive thru if you do go - apparently the prices inside are different from their "drive thru" prices which are cheaper. This is what an employee said to me one morning, when she apparently forgot to put the drive thru headset on and I was forced to park and go inside.

Rachel I.

Yelp
Very bad service. Couldn't get my order right. Called in ahead and had to reorder at restaurant and wait 15 minutes. Also they couldn't even get the order right and forgot my sides. Very unhappy with this location.

Katie K.

Yelp
Bleh. Stopped in here cause it looked cute and I had some time to kill before a hair appointment. I guess their claim to fame is some frozen coffee drink. I was in the mood for an iced chai. The guy at the counter looked like he would rather burn himself with lit cigarette butts than make my drink. Not friendly at all, not a word spoken. I always tip my baristas, like dude, it's not that hard to say your welcome or have a nice day. The chai was the kind from a box... A bit too sweet. Whatever, not the end of the world. Hire friendlier baristas and I'll give it another go...

Nathan R.

Yelp
This was my first time coming to a Puccino's and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and feel. This is a new location where the old Starbucks was at on Veterans. The best part is how they kept the look of the Starbucks sign and exterior. I wish there was a wider selection of regular coffee flavors. If you're into iced coffee y'all should try the "Frozen-puccino", creamy and delicious ice cream with a hint of the bean. I can't wait to try all the other locations.

Thad B.

Yelp
Came in around 4:10pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Beautiful sunny day. I come here often because I like the location. Coffee is ok and the decor is quite nice. I have also frequented the Vets, Severn, and Harahan locations. I stepped up to the counter and I could see the girl working was swamped with drive through orders. She said, "Welcome to Puccino's sir. I'm sorry, but I'll be with you in a minute." No problem as far as I was concerned. She was pleasant and acknowledged me and let me know I would be served. After about 10 minutes she took my order, I paid, she apologized again. I went to sit down. After taking my place, I turned on my laptop and realized I did not have the password for the wifi. I went to the counter to get it. A different worker was behind the counter and just as busy as the first one. She was at the drive through window. She looked up, saw me at the counter, and quickly looked away. She waited on four more drive through customers with out even acknowledging me. Finally, I said, "Excuse me." She looked over with an irritated look. Never did ask if I needed anything, then turned her back on me and face the drive through. I asked if I could please get the wifi password. She turned to me and yelled, "No, you have to pay for it!" I told her I just spent $9 on coffee and a cookie (including a $2 tip). She yelled, without turning towards me, the it is the company policy that I have to pay for the password. However, she never asked me if I would like to purchase it. As I walked back to my seat, two other customers who heard our exchange said that they didn't have to pay for wifi access. They gave me the password. I was here about 4 times last week, and I never had to pay for access to the wifi. it has always amazed me how terrible customer service is in the New Orleans area, and I'm really sorry that I experienced it at Puccino's.

Emily B.

Yelp
I just dropped in for a chocolate chip cookie last night to satisfy my sweet tooth. The cookie was delicious, probably the best I've ever had from any of Puccino's numerous locations, and there was a wide variety of other fresh pastries/desserts in the refrigerated case. The barista was also incredibly sweet and quick to take my order. I felt right at home at this location and will definitely be back.

Katie H.

Yelp
The drive thru says "fast" above the sign, that is hysterical! I ordered an iced latte the girl acted as if she has never heard of such a thing. I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru and drove off. Absolutely ridiculous! If you want coffee then don't go. Any kind of service then don't go. Also, all management goes out of town apparently as a team and no one to complain to. Drive up the street to Starbucks for service, coffee and fast!

Hillary T.

Yelp
This one star is not for all Puccino's, just this particular location. I have gone here multiple times, and every single time I have gone, they have somehow managed to get my order wrong. I am always nice about it, although I get looks from the manager like I'm an asshole, when I simply would like to get what I've paid for. And I always come back to give them another chance, because I think SURELY this won't happen again. Alas, that is not the case, and they continue to get my orders wrong. Which, by the way, aren't difficult orders. Grits a go go and a frozen puccino. Not hard to get right. Also, when you have employees who are misinformed about the menu and the customer ends up with an order they didn't want or expect because of that misinformation, the least you could do is offer the customer their money back. For the love of God I will drive the extra 2 miles to go to the next closest puccino's next time, because this is just ridiculous.

Raphael P.

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday Afternoon around 1pm. I tried ordering a smoked salmon bagel and was told they couldn't do it bc they had no kitchen staff here at the time. They told me I could have a regular bagel, but they didn't know how the salmon bagel came. I find this to be an example of zero initiative on behalf of the staff. Of coarse, there is no management here to complain to.

Sara H.

Yelp
Coffee that reminds me of home. That's how I describe the coffee at this place. I moved down here from NYC and one of the first things I searched for was a good coffee couldn't find it.. Finally 3 months later I was taken here by a friend and I was like "Yes!!!!" Both the hot and ice coffee tastes like the coffee I use to get from bodegas in NYC. My fave in all of NOLA.

Amy R.

Yelp
I don't like to write negative reviews but in this case I had to. A couple months ago, I went through the drive thru and looked at the menu but decided to go inside. When I got inside, to my surprise, all the prices were higher than they were on the drive thru menu! I asked the barista and she confirmed that the prices are cheaper if you go through the drive thru. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, all the Puccino's locations charge something like $1.99 for daily internet. This is 2016. That's unacceptable. I hadn't been there since, but yesterday a friend wanted to meet there so I agreed. I went up to the counter to purchase internet for us and the barista informed me that the internet system had recently changed and that you just pay on your laptop now. When I pulled up my browser, a window popped up saying that it was now $1.99 for ONE HOUR or $7.99 for 24 hours. My friend and I left immediately and went to the Starbucks up the street where we each purchased drinks and a breakfast sandwich and enjoyed FREE internet. Puccino's lost our business yesterday and in the future, and all over a measly $1.99 for something that should be free.

Ernesto O.

Yelp
Amazing service for all of them, and best tasting coffee there is. Service reps were amazingly nice and helped me decide what I wanted. This is how a coffee place should be. Definitely blows PJ's ass out of the water!

Fleur M.

Yelp
Just had the worst experience I've ever had at a cafe. Went through the drive through to get two drinks. One of them was them frozen green tea. We drive away and I taste my beverage. The green tea drink literally tastes like orange juice. Obviously green tea isn't supposed to taste like that- so we return to the drive through to try and replace the drink with a frozen puccino. I was told that they do not replace drinks and that the green tea is made with orange juice. Wtf?! Who adds orange juice to green tea. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I should have asked for the manager. Any other place would remake your drink or make a new drink. I've been to other countries and continents and I never expected good service because it's not a part of every culture and can even be seen as rude. In the U.S. Though (I was born and raised in America) the customer gets the last say. Not at Puccinos though. Moreover, I feel that if I was a white American they would have not only remade my drink or let me choose something else, but would have done so with no hesitation. Deplorable; do not go! Sad, their frozen puccino is actually good. Maybe they should leave the green teas to the Asian places and Starbucks (whose green tea frappuccino is actually edible).

Natalie L.

Yelp
There are so many Puccinos here in town, and this is the most pathetic one ever. I'm here to get some coffee and study, and this is what happens. I made an iced coffee purchase, and asked the little lady with the little curly black hair (whom I told was the owner) for the password for the Internet. She then tells me, I can't get the password unless I make a minimal of $5 purchase. Wifi is provided for free everywhere now a days, and she's trying to tell me my $3.25 iced coffee wasn't enough to use the Internet? You have got to be kidding me. That is just money hungry. Never returning to that location. Please realize that people come to study and use the Internet, and there will be times the customers will get thirsty or hungry. You will make more money having free wifi access which lures people in rather than shut them down if a $5 plus purchase isn't made to use the Internet. There's plenty of coffee shops in this area a tenth of a mile from you.
