Fun atmosphere and ski vibe. Aaron the bartender was super nice

Great addition to the Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Cool pub serving good eats with locals and guests alike staying out in the pub til late night drinking beers together. The food here is alright. Think of it as good bar snacks than anything more adorned than that. Everything is cooked from a small corner of the bar by a guy with an oven, a table, and a dishwasher. Must try’s include the pulled pork nachos. Come here for the feel of the local scene and local beers. You can be found drinking with the same people that were loading you on the lift earlier in the day, or serving you beers on the mountain.

Google
Good atmosphere and good beer selection. Food is pretty decent but takes forever. 45 min waiting for a corn dog, which is fine if you want a few beers I guess.

Alix Schulte

Google
Enjoy great beer on tap with the locals at the end of the ski day. If you cat skied, buy your guide and ski buddies a round here. If your kid had a lesson today, buy the instructor a beer here.

Greg Close

Google
Great staff, super packed apres ski. Get there by 6 for a seat on the weekends. Dozen+ local beers on tap. Lots of cans for sale to go.

Justina Blackburn

Google
Puccis is the best spot in the village. They always have a great assortment of beers, great ski pub vibe, friendly staff, good pub food.

Bryan Birn

Google
Great service. Good beer selection. Best prices on hill, and a good local vibe. Totally worth visiting.

Amber

Google
Great all around but really busy so seating can be tough. On warm days there is outdoor seating available.

Yelp
It is rare for me to provide a 1-star review; typically, 2-stars is my lowest. But this is a horrible place. The food looked decent, but the service is something i had never experienced before. Here is example #1: We ordered beers at the bar and were to sit outside. I ordered and talked to her, and there were only 4 people at the bar with drinks already (added two pics). So i stood there, and she just went on to doing other menial things. So I asked her if we would get our beers and when. She said, "Come back in 9-10 minutes". This is very odd since she wasn't doing anything. I went out and told my friends this so one of them went and demanded them, which she then provided them. Example #2: A nice-looking couple comes in and sits at the bar. I'm inside since it got cold out. They sit there and sit there and sit there, and she never acknowledges them. 10-minutes go by, and the guy gets angry (remember, she's not doing anything!). She starts laughing at him and making fun of him for being angry. She then takes their drink order and, you guessed it, when on to other things, really nothing, but she tries to look busy somehow. i come up and asked for more beer, so she actually poured their beers since she was going to come over to this area of the bar, and then gave them the beers. Example #3: At this point, i had ordered food when i ordered the first beers, not knowing what was in store art that time. 20 min goes by, 30 min goes by, and i ask her (understand that the kitchen is open in the bar area, so you can see the cook doing nothing). I asked about it, and she goes over and tells him, so he starts to cook it at that moment. 45 min after i ordered i get my burger. Remember that there is hardly anyone in there Example #4: we had enough and wanted to leave. I see her across the bar, but she ignores me for 5-6 minutes. Finally, i just said really loud, "Please give me my bill!"...she acknowledged that but stood around and doesn't give it to me for almost 15 minutes, not exaggerating, even though I kept asking (crickets from her)...my friend comes in and yells at her, which of course made her laugh and make fun of him. My friends and i talked about this and we've experienced bad and slow service, but nothing like this, ever. Really ruined my afternoon. Went to the super nice bar across from there and had a GREAT time.

Yelp
We had great service and great music! Very cool vibe as well with the decor. I love corn dogs :)

Greg B.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch, good beer selection but wouldn't go back. Customer service was slow and it wasn't busy. But that alone wasn't the problem. Sitting at the bar you could see the male preparing food (no kitchen, everythjng is microwaved). He was eating food with his bare hands, wiping his face with a napkin while preparing customer food without washing his hands or wearing gloves - gross. In 60 minutes he never once washed his hands or put gloves on while touching meat, cheese, chips etc with his hands. The cross contamination and lack of hygiene was disgusting and nobody should eat their food.

Yelp
The perfect apr'e ski stop. Right at the entrance to the village it's a great place to stop before catching the shuttle down and they serve breakfast on the weekends now too!

Stacy H.

Yelp
This the locals pub at the Schweitzer Village and currently one of the few places open after 5pm. They have food & beverages and sports or ski videos on the TV. They have an excellent burger & delicious chicken wings and good tots. Like many places, they are understaffed but stay open as little by as folks are drinking beer. Tell Melissa Hi for me.

Lynn D.

Yelp
Love this place after a day of skiing. The Tachos are the best! Walking distance from the ski resort.

Jarid A.

Yelp
Phenomenal nachos, best I've ever had. Jeff and his crew are legit. Amazing vibes and people.

Pam M.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and beer. Obviously a lot of young locals frequent the bar. Nachos were not very good - left under the broiler too long, diced tomatoes and chicken tasted like they were canned. On a positive note, the guacamole was fresh.

Grace R.

Yelp
Horrible owners, absolutely degraded me and my party. Treated us like we did not belong. Did not help with drink service either.

Todd C.

Yelp
Best locals hang out on the mountain. Best nachos anywhere. Good beer. Good company. Dog friendly, comfortable, laid-back locals vibe. Almost always open. Staff rocks - especially Sam and Tanner.

Justin J.

Yelp
The best spot for great selection of local beers. The customer service is some of the best on Schweitzer. Eric the owner makes you feel like your at home. The food is amazing and might take sometime if they are busy but we'll worth it!! Enjoy

Lindsey C.

Yelp
This is definitely a fun little hole in the wall pub up at Schweitzer. Good beer, good service and the apps are surprisingly tasty. We had the Soft Cream Cheese Jalapeño Stuffed Pretzel which was extremely delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside and filled with jalapeño cream cheese deliciousnous. We also has the "totchos " which were f*ing amazing! Perfectly crispy tater tots covered with cheese, garlic chicken, guac, sour cream and tomatoes. OMG, those were so amazing!!!! Not part of the regular menu but if it's not busy they'll make them and they are so good!!! Definitely recommend this place for a fun place to have a beer and appetizers;-)

Angela K.

Yelp
I love this pub! The tater tots rock and the corn dog is made with Wood's German Sausage, a beloved local sausage maker. The service was excellent, very prompt, friendly and courteous! If you get the pulled pork nachos to share, get them made with the tater tots to upgrade your noshing nom-nom experience!! If you like Gyros, I'd recommend getting the traditional lamb. You won't be disappointed. This is one of my favorite places to hit after the slopes or to watch the Seahawks play!

Brian E.

Yelp
The worst service ever - went in on Feb 23, 2020 at 3:30pm after a great day of skiing and the the dark haired bartender was so rude - could not be bothered with helping people get drinks - kept talking to her friends and would not even acknowledge us - finally when I asked can I get a drink when your free? her response was yeah when I am free - she never came back - we won't be back - we will take our business elsewhere - we had 10 people bye bye

Michael B.

Yelp
Aaron and Andy. Had it on lockdown today. The patio, the bar top, the endless Snowflakes video. They're like malt-o-meal for you, they're good for you. They're like soup, they're like nothing bad, let me tell you that much.

Dawn G.

Yelp
We were travelling in our truck camper and parking for the night on Schweitzer Mountain before a day of downhill mountain biking. It was off-season and almost 8pm, only 2 places were open on the mountain. The other place looked a little fancy for the casual mindset we had going so we wandered into Pucci's Pub. From the minute we walked in we felt welcomed. It is a small apres ski bar with several beers on tap, one guy behind the bar, and one guy in the super small kitchen. We were immediately impressed by the beer list - several local choices on tap. We ordered a couple beers and then thought about some food. The bartender was very friendly and helpful and suggested the Pulled Pork Nachos saying they would be the best we ever tasted. Wow.... that is a under statement. We were on the top of a ski mountain looking into the smallest kitchen ever, with no expectations, and we were about to be really blown away. The bartender also talked us out of ordering a full order saying the half would be plenty. I have to say honesty like that always impresses me.... when they don't run up the tab just because they can. He was right on all accounts. We left stuffed on the half order and hooked on the nachos, they were amazing! (We would return 2 days later hoping to get another order we liked them so much..... but sad to say the kitchen was closed that time). The Mr also had a corn dog and the cornbread was really good too! Overall this pub is a place we hope to return to someday.... hopefully at the end of epic ski day next time! If you are ever in the area - it is worth a drive up the mountain for those nachos!!!

Anthony G.

Yelp
Awesome place to grab a drink after skiing. Yes it gets crowded but it has a great ski bum vibe and is family friendly. Cheapest beer on the mountain with PBRs for $2.50 and a great selection of quality beers on tap. Awesome food with the tater tots and nachos being the most popular!

Celeste L.

Yelp
Super good atmosphere. The tater tots were really good. The rest of the food (sliders and pizza) were also good but the tater tots were my favorite. The food took a long time to get out but there is limited kitchen space and there were 9 of us in the group. Great place to hangout and drink after a hike.

TJ B.

Yelp
I liked Pucci's a lot. It is a fun little apres ski pub that doesn't get too crowded, which is good, because it isn't that big. They only serve beer and wine, but they have a good selection. It's a nice, warm, powder bar atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and the little kitchen they have next to the bar does an amazing job for such a small place. It is just bar food, but will take care of your cravings.

Dallas C.

Yelp
I waited 29 minutes for them to put one ladle of chili into a cup then slide it into the oven. The chili wasn't even hot when they served it. Total waste of time. My guess is that only one person has their food handler's permit.

Tanner M.

Yelp
Zero stars. They had good beer and passable food but the service was horrendous. We waited forever for our order, had to reorder, and then they were jerks about it. We spoke with the owner and he was incredibly rude. I do not recommend this place and will not return.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Great place, great atmosphere! Good food, came quick and was hot and yummy! Fun music and good beer. Everyone was very friendly.

Jessie S.

Yelp
This pub was a huge part of my husband and I's amazing trip to Schweitzer. We stayed 2 nights and both nights we ate at Puccis. We had the pulled pork nachos, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks. Some of the best food I've had in a very long time! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is the perfect setting after a long day of skiing. We will definitely be back soon!

Frank C.

Yelp
The nachos were excellent and we received a very generous portion for a half order. They also gave us small tasters of beer to decide what we wanted which was nice of them. I had the yak burger and it tasted a bit like sage maybe which would make sense if it's locally farmed. At any rate it was very good food at very reasonable prices.

Joe R.

Yelp
Good beer choices. Friendly staff. Very low key. Food is actually pretty good considering the limited kitchen. Only drawback is the limited hours.

Lyndee S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer and a snack. The bartender looked over at us several times with no awknowledgement. After 10 mins I finally stood up and leaned over the bar and waved at him to get his attention. Which he nodded and continues his conversation with whomever and takes his sweet time to walk over to us. We ordered our beer and asked for a menu. The menu is very bleak to say the least. Couple burgers and sandwiches and a salad or two. They do, however, have a wide variety of beer to select from which is why I gave it a 2. He never did come back over to ask us what we wanted to order for food so I can't rate the food. We waited with empty glasses and finally just left some cash on the bar to pay for our beers and walked out. We won't be returning to this establishment.

Tom B.

Yelp
Good luck getting the wait staff to do their job. We arrived with friends and there were maybe 8 other people in the whole restaurant and 2 people working behind the bar. After waiting for 15 minutes, I went to the bar only to wait another 10 minutes. When I tried to get the bartender's attention, he insulted me and told us to leave since we were acting like we were from Spokane. I've been several times before and the bar can be adequate at best. I'm never going back and there are so many better options at Schweitzer that you don't need to bother going here.

Salty S.

Yelp
The owner of this pub is the rudest person running a business I've ever encountered. He was belligerently drunk/high/something when we arrived & at one point told me to suck his d***. His reason appeared to have either to do with the fact that I moved away from Idaho to Seattle & had the audacity to come back for snowboarding, or that I liked the Beastie Boys (he was incoherent, so difficult to understand). Our party left immediately at that moment, & we mentioned to the staff what had happened. They comped everything and apologized, but said he is always like that, it's just his nature. If that's the case, they need to keep him out of the public eye, as it reflects horribly on the establishment.

Graham L.

Yelp
We liked this place! It had a great atmosphere and great nachos! I did give it a 5/5 as I don't know what else was good.

Brianna P.

Yelp
Quirky little spot to have a drink while you wait for the bus down the mountain. Solid line-up of beer and a good apres-ski menu. Service is a little slow, but then again, it's just a dude in a tiny kitchen corner set-up.

Bobby B.

Yelp
Great place, great hospitality. The bar tenders were very cool and friendly. The beers on tap were great. Ill be heading back again.

Angelica N.

Yelp
Great Beer! Awesome bartender! Good music. You're drinkin Hefs at the top of a majestic mountain so whats to complain about? Completely empty which was fine by me. I was able to take my last beer "to go" which was a delightful surprise! Extra points for the deer I saw on my drive back down.

Kristen L.

Yelp
Great bar environment with more than great "bar food". The pulled pork nachos were amazing. Wishing we would have had the stomach room to try the tater tot nachos. Loved the beer/wine to go option! Awesome hangout after a ski run in the winter or a hike in the summer.

Caitie S.

Yelp
Stopped in while staying at Schweitzer during the summer. The bartender ignored us for the first ten minutes and we ordered appetizers which we didn't get for another half hour, which was surprising considering all they did was move our wings from a frozen bag to an oven. Took another 45 minutes to get our actual food which was a salad and a reheated mini frozen pizza. Bartender was very rude. Overall poor experience for us. Won't be coming back.

Shawn T.

Yelp
Great selection of microbrews and lowbrews for the budget minded. Don't forget to order the cheese covered tater tots! Good yak burgers also.

John C.

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar at a resort. Locals and out of towners get to mix in a real mountain pub with good food, great beer, and wonderful wait staff.

L G.

Yelp
Unfortunately the staff was was rude especially to the women in our group. The food was good. One guy was so rude to one of our party that they walked out of the pub and the man turned to us and said are they mad at me or at all of us. When we said that he was being rude he said that was just his personality. When we came back to bring in our plates the staff was talking about us to other customers. It was over all just such a nasty experience.

Ryan K.

Yelp
We were very happy with our experience at Pucci's during our summer visit to the Selkirk Lodge at Schweitzer Mountain. We chose to go here because of Yelp reviews--the reviews were so bad for the Chimney Rock Grill that we came to Pucci's, and we are glad we followed our instincts and Yelp recommendations. Pucci's is a small and friendly bar. Their craft beer selection is far greater than the Lodge's bar--another reason to come to Pucci's. The food options are limited--their kitchen is about a 5'x5' working area, with a small oven, but no means of cooking complex dishes. I started with the pulled pork nachos and ordered the German sausage with sauerkraut for dinner. The nachos were a hit with our party of three. Good tortilla chips, not too much cheese, and not too much of the wet ingredients to make the nachos soggy. My German sausage was excellent--hot, crisp skin, and very flavorful. Our bartender Kelsie was very friendly, and Marcus the kitchen attendant worked quickly to accommodate everyone. We'd heartily recommend going back for simple food and good beer.

Marissa S.

Yelp
Love this place!! It's as local as it gets...plus great beer.
