Puckett’s Market and Restaurant- BNA D concourse

Puckett's market and restaurant at the airport offers some market items like bottles beverages and bagged coffee and coffee mugs. The restaurant section offers a varied menu including a kids menu with a 3 veggie plate. I chose the sweet potato fries, crispy and hot for a snack. Last time here, I ordered the tomato soup, yummy. This venue offers live music, usually one singer and a microphone. Sit in the accessible tables near the music for a jam or sit father away at accessible tables or at high tops at the full bar, a bit farther from the music to enjoy the entertainment as quieter background music. Great service here.

Puckett's is a find for airport food. Let's face it, eating in an airport is not where you tend to find anything to rave about, but Puckett's makes some pretty good food at reasonable prices. That makes the rest of the experience tolerable. The good: You can eat here with table service for <$15 per plate. The smoked brisket is pretty tasty as is the Mac-n-Cheese. The smoked beans come out of a can and the coleslaw out of a food service bucket, but both are palatable if not remarkable. The bad: Service is non-existent. 15 minutes to be recognized once seated in a 1/2 full restaurant. We ordered immediately as we did have a flight, but never saw our waiter again until it was time to pay. Someone else brought dropped the food and we had to go to the bar to get a single drink refill and the hostess stand to get additional napkins that you'll need for BBQ. All the time another 4 staff roamed around the restaurant with apparently nothing to do. At least the bartender was attentive when approached. Seriously, restaurant owners, you want to pack your place and turn a huge profit, hire waitstaff that care. Entertainment: All I can say about the live entertainment was apparently if you can't be good, be ear-splitting loud.

I enjoyed my dinner on a layover at the Nashville airport. Tasty food, the nachos could have been a bit more generous with the toppings. Good service. Great BBQ sauce. Nice atmosphere, which was enhanced by an amazing singer performing right in the airport restaurant. I can’t recall seeing musicians perform in other airports… But hey, this is Nashville after all! 🤩

Great ambiance and service, good music.... But the food was abysmal. You can just look at the pictures and video... The mashed potato's were bland and flavorless.... And the brisket was so damn dry... It was basically jerky. Ugh definitely get something else if you have to go there

Service is slow, you have to ask for napkins. They were out of pulled pork. My bacon cheese burger came without bacon. The burger was medium warm, the firs were soggy and also just warm. I've had better of a food truck. Would not recommend.

David, the morning bartender, is truly the star of the show! He had a big crowd as soon as he opened on a Thursday morning, both for breakfast and bar drinks, and he is the true definition of maximizing efficiency and urgency while providing excellent customer service. The drinks were also phenomenal for an airport restaurant. 10/10 on the bay breezes! Thank you David!

The live music was nice! The Piggy Mac was very wet and hard to get down. The menu claims it comes with Cajun corn cake… I asked the waitress if my order had a side and she said “no” and walked away. No explanation before or after my order :(

Can’t say much for the food. I have been sitting here 45 minutes just waiting for someone to take my order. Im really not sure what the deal is. They seated me, gave me a menu, but no one seems willing to come over and take my order. Why have I sat here this long you might ask? After 15 minutes my curiosity got the best of me. How long can I sit here without a single person coming over to take my order? I have time since my flight doesn’t leave for 2 hours. I guess I’ll find out. I do know I can’t recommend this place. I probably should have read the other reviews first.
