Puckett's Restaurant

We had the best experience trying Puckett's in Hendersonville. Our server, Lexxie, was the absolute best. She recommended everything we ordered and we even ordered extra to bring home plus some sauces and spices which they sell at the front of the restaurant. The hostesses and every staff member that day were just the nicest people! Lexxie was what any restaurant would hope to have on their staff. Friendly, helpful, totally on top of it, just delightful! We even got to tell the cook how delicious his food was. That cheeseburger was perfection! Thank you, Lexxie and Puckett's! We can't wait to come back! 10 STARS! 🙂

A Southern staple of brisket, beans and BBQ. I shared The Farm platter so was able to try the chicken, pork, sausage brisket and ham with baked beans and red beans/rice as chosen sides. The meat had a robust smoked flavor and naturally was moist. They had a nice lit up full-service bar. The atmosphere was cozy with fun vintage decor throughout the open floor plan. They also have live music during selective hours for your entertainment! Ample parking in a large lot, and a full-size walkout patio with a cover and tea lights for extra ambiance.

Lexxie was a fantastic waitress! She was very attentive, kind & kept the refills flowing which is a huge plus for my husband. The manager also came by several times to check on us & was helping the staff in any way he could which is so refreshing to see. This was our first time at Puckett’s & it won’t be our last!! We can’t wait to bring our children back here & make it our regular family restaurant.

Came here the day before the snow storm. It was wasn’t busy at all. My server was Mallory and she was great! Very attentive and a joy to have just a beautiful spirit. I ordered a burger and it was nice and juicy and the fries had the perfect crisp. The fried green tomatoes were also amazing. A great meal to have before I bunker down for the snow/ice situation

I enjoyed my visit at the Hendersonville location today. Lexie was my waitress and she was wonderful, she gave great service. Food came out at a reasonable time, she placed all my condiments on my table before my meal, and my beverages stayed refilled throughout my meal. I will definitely revisit the establishment all because of this experience.

My favorite Pucketts in all of Tennessee (I have now visited all)! I think that it had a lot to do with our AWESOME waitress Tiffany! She was so personable and friendly and answered all of our many questions about Puckets and the area! This Pucketts had the best ambiance, was clean and nicely decorated and the food was very good!

This was first time our family has been to Puckett's and it won't be the last. We were sat right away, there was no wait for a Saturday evening, but it start to get busy after a bit so must have good timing. Our server, Mallory was great. We didn't know going in that they have live music and were sat right to the stage, a little to close for comfort, so Mallory moved us to another table with no hesitation. She recommended some good drinks and was overall very pleasant. It did take a longer than usual for our food to come out, but it Saturday and was expected. The wait was worth it though. Food was delicious and very fresh tastingand the live singer, Krystal King, was good. Overall made for good evening out. We will going back.

Kylie was a phenomenal waitress. She was attentive, helpful, and very informative, with an absolutely wonderful personality. From start to finish, she made our experience nothing but great. Emilee, the Front of House Manager, went above and beyond to ensure our food was fresh and prepared exactly as requested. She personally made sure no spices were used so that my mother and son could comfortably enjoy their lunch. That level of care and attention truly meant a lot to us. We sincerely appreciate the outstanding service and will definitely be back!

I had one bad experience at PUCKETT's, but the food was good. Today Puckett's provided a bbq meal at the American Legion Post 17 in Gallatin TN. Puckett's generosity and support of all Veterans is to be commended. The bbq was the best I have ever had and I have had many. Thank you

Went to Puckett yesterday. Gave girl 50.68 cash. Bill was for 43.68 for meatloaf and hamburger. Girl my change 6.00. I say you owe me a dollar. She said we round off we usually don't take cash. Well if you don't take cash if I give you a debit you going round off. This is offensive and wrong. Price for food high. Waitress seemed lost. But food was good. I had the fried green tomatoes to start with. They was cooked exceptionally well and had a great flavor. I ordered the shrimp and grits that was totally awesome. Had a really great flavor. My server was Marissa and she did a great job. She had a lot going on and still managed to take good care of me. To Puckett's. She was friendly and had a kind spirit with a Sweet Soul. Could not ask for a better server than her. I will most definitely come back again.

Food was great! the Brisket was my favorite Mac n cheese, burger, fried green tomatos, cheese balls were all great too!

We were greeted by Justin. He's the manager on site at this time. We were seated with no wait time and our server is Marissa. She's friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The ambiance is family friendly and well lighted with soothe music. Fried green beans were very tasty. My better half loved the fried green beans. OK hands-down the cook must've knew we were coming. Everything looks really good and tasty so I have to give it a thumbs up. I suggest if you haven't been you need to try it out thank you.

This was our first time. Lexi was great. Patient, professional, and personal. Our group of 6 all tried different meals.

Stopped by for a takeout order. Mallory provided great service at the bar. Unfortunately, she was waiting multiple tables along with bar service. Very stressful and chaotic. In the end this easily added 30 minutes to the wait. The food is great and I'll be back, hopefully the support staff is better equipped to handle volume.

Mallory was an exceptional waitress! She was always on top of everything, and was great with our little kiddo. The food is always delicious. We will be back

Aside from amazing food, the staff here is always fantastic. Our server, Lexxie, was so kind and attentive. Our whole table kept talking about how great she was. She took a napkin and helped my daughter get food off her face at one point. A truly kind person and wonderful server.

WOW! We visited Puckett's for the first time and our experience was incredible. The staff were friendly and hospitable, the dining area was clean and had plenty of room between tables, and the added live music made for the perfect Nashville-suburb dining experience. The food was AMAZING. I could not suggest the Piggy Mac and Chicken Fried Chicken enough. My wife, who is the pickiest eater I have ever met, ate every last speck of her Piggy Mac! We hope to visit again soon next time we're headed to the Nashville area.

We went around 2:30 on a Friday and there was hardly anyone here. The staff were all super sweet, our server was also incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was AMAZING, the Philly cheesesteak was really good and a unique twist on a classic that worked really well. I also HIGHLY recommend the fruit tea. My husband enjoyed the pulled pork with mashed potatoes and green beans, the mashed potatoes where the star of an already good meal. We will definitely be back in the future!!

My wife and I had an enjoyable dinner and experience tonight at Puckett's Hendersonville. We've been here before, but tonight was exceptional. Mallory our server/bartender was great! Chris the manager, as well as Mary, saw that we had the best experience possible. The food, drinks and dessert were prepared and presented in such an appetizing way! Can't wait to come back!

Delicious food and good service. I got brisket, it was melt in your mouth. My son got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. We both cleaned our plates. No wait at 6pm on a Friday night!

The bbq brisket was tasty. The green beans were awful. The rest was just ok. The bathroom smelled bad (moldy or something). We went a couple days after Xmas so service was a bit slow since there were only a couple of them at the restaurant. I've been to the one downtown before and the experience was different.

We've tried to be the rebel and cheer pucketts on here in Hendersonville but apparently it's still lacking in a lot . Just stopped in again for a drink and appetizers . They no longer have the half price appetizers . Hope they stay in business but no incentives for the customers . They are never busy .

This is Puckett's newest location. And while the newness is apparent on several levels, I believe they will cruuuuush it here! Hendersonville has limited dining out options, despite its growth. And Puckett's will fill a void. Get your reservations as early as you can, as they book up very quickly. The smoked meats were as delicious as I know them to be from their other locations, and the baked beans, skillet mac and cheese and corn muffins make for quite the holy trinity of side dishes. The only miss for me is the smashed sweet potatoes. Just not enough going on there for what I was looking for. Overall, friendly folks and a great meal!

We decided to take my in-laws to have a Sunday lunch at this place. Unfortunately, there aren't many vegan options available, but if you have a helpful waitress who knows the menu, you can get creative. Personally, I ended up ordering a salad with strawberries, walnuts, and vinaigrette dressing. The rest of my family opted for dishes that resembled bar food. I highly recommend making a reservation on OpenTable to secure a table, probably because it's a new place and not because of the food. Although they have live music, it's not available during Sunday lunch, which was a relief for us as we were seated right by the stage. The restaurant has a charming country decor and plenty of interesting things to keep you entertained while waiting for your meal.

We have never been here so thought we'd give it a try. Food was great. Our server, Lexxie, was friendly and very attentive. We will be back for sure.

Disappointed with the entire establishment. PBR draft out of stock! Chardonnay out of stock! My BBQ PLATE was mostly burnt ends and fat. We sat at the bar with only 3 other customers. Rachel's service was good. Never had a visit from manager? The decor was clean and inviting. As more dinners entered it was mostly seniors. The Manager could have purchased his out of stock items at Center Point Liquors. I am sure Roy Rice would have helped Puckett's on a Friday Nite and thru the weekend! The one compliment I must mention is Puckett's has very reasonable PRICING! We also thank Rachel for her outstanding service and tipped appropriately

Enjoyed lunch at Puckett's, Hendersonville, on 11 Sep 2025. Our first visit right after you first opened your doors was pretty poor. We were hesitant to come back, but so glad we did. Food was tremendous! Even better, Tiffany was our waitress. She was incredible. Quickly taking our orders and getting our food to us, she did it all with a smile and friendly banter. She checked on us often, shared some stories together, and was ready with our check when we're we ready to go, never once feeling like she was "trying to clear a table". She was outstanding! Will be looking to sit at one of her tables, again.

I wanted to love this place, but it just fell short. We waited for about 15 minutes for a table on a Sunday night around 5. We ordered the fried pimento cheese for a starter. They came out and two were empty inside, which was odd. None of our food was exceptionally good, just okay. I don't think I'd go again unless there weren't other options. The atmosphere is nice, there was live music and it was clean. The service was just okay. No one was overly friendly, but they weren't rude. This is probably the most "meh" place I've ever eaten.

Tiffany was really great and took great care of us!! The smoked meatloaf and chicken fried chicken was amazing!!!

We had dinner here tonight... the food was awesome. Everything was fresh, hot and well seasoned. Large portions. Dessert didn't disappoint us either... WOW cinnamon roll bread pudding. Yum Yum Yummy. Tiffany was super friendly and kept our drinks filled. She made the meal more enjoyable with great servic.

Great service. Not the Puckett's quality I remember. I got the chicken fried chicken. It looked like a packaged piece of chicken. I would have expected hand breaded. Very salty. My wife ordered the pulled pork. Extremely salty and not what we have had from the Franklin location. It might be a while before I try again at those prices. It's one of those meals you want to get right and they simply missed the mark.

I was at the American Legion hall in Gallatin to serve lunch and honor veterans. Puckett's provided pulled pork, mashed potatoes/gravy, and green beans. Everything was delicious. Pork was tender and juicy. Thanks Puckett's for your generosity! Great lunch, enjoyed by all.

I've been there when it was great. But when it's BAD, they apparently don't want any feedback. The large regional enterprise has NO email contact. So - If they're not interested in correcting some serious issues; let 'em stick their head in the sand, continue with bad food, poor service, and personnel who cannot grasp the hospitality aspect of their business, and let the public decide if there are better alternatives. The photo, is the Brisket Hash platter. Just three weeks ago, it was excellent. Today, the server didn't ask what kind of toast; didn't ask for the preparation preference on the eggs. The toast as the picture shows, is apparently white bread, that was dried out - not toasted. The side bits are somewhat chard blubber from the brisket. On egg was sunny-side-up (O.K.), the other was an overcooked hard and actually crumbling yellow disc. 'Never left that much hash and egg behind in the past. But then again, they apparently don't really care to know - so how can they fix it? The Leiper's Fork Favorite, is three pancakes, two eggs, and bacon (or sausage). The eggs were scrambled to perfection, as ordered without the server's prompt. The bacon was three strips of limp greasy ribbons. The pale yellow pancakes looked like they had actually been dropped, them put back on the plate. Rhetorically - how do get wrinkles in a pancake? Though the bacon and pancakes were ultimately edible, it was not very good, and the presentation was horribly unprofessional. You'd think Puckett's would want to know that...

Tiffany is a wonderful server and really made our dinner. Having eat'n at this location in April 2025 to now June 2025 I will say there has been great implements made in the quality of the food. It's now right on par with the Pigeon Forge location. I appreciate at this location you don't have to order at the door which was a pleasant surprise. But good food is nothing without good service and Tiffany was always right on top of everything. We never had to ask her for a drink refill and she checked in with us just enough to make sure we had what we needed but not to much that it distributed our meal. 10/10 we will be back again!

Mallory was super sweet and patient. We came for our daughter's 13th birthday. Very great with the kids and recommended good dishes. Great location close to home too!

You have to visit again. We had stopped going sue to poor service, wait time to be seated and long waits for food. This has ALL CHANGED under their new management. My wife and I had breakfast there today after Emilee (manager) requested we come back and give them another try. We are glad we did. EVERYTHING was better! We will definitely be going back. Be sure to ask for Emilee (if she's not managing that day).

So, I eat here regularly and have eaten at the original and downtown. This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Hendo, The prices are reasonable, portions tend to be huge and most of the menu is delicious. My favs are the Southern Fried Chicken, but watch out - it's a huge plate! Sliders! Some servers are better than others -- for sure. (I think one of the best servers is named Rachel, out by the patio, when its open....) Seating indoors can be tricky when they're busy and it can be chilly. BUT none of these things are major issues. The low reviews here are SHOCKING. I prioritize clean and have NO IDEA what others are talking about. Maybe they want to deter you because they want the place to themselves? The place has a perfect 100 health score on Yelp.

Stopped in try this location out on a Friday night. They had a live band which sounded pretty good. I was seated promptly by the hostess who was nice. Server was fine with the exception of one minor issue. They were low on the local draft beer that I ordered. He brought to the table two glasses. One beer (one I ordered) was 1/3 full. The other was filled. He apologized for what I ordered being out and said this is one the house. I received my bill a d saw I was charged for the server chosen beer. Apparently he meant the 1/3 glass was on the house. The burger was tasty, juicy and perfectly prepared. I can't say the same about the hashbrown casserole. It was overcooked so it was mushy. Then it had some crispy pieces of potato sticks or onion straws that were crunchy.

Food and service were great on Friday night! Wait staff were super nice and attentive. Great place for families and big groups. Could improve by having live music start a little earlier on Friday and Saturday IMO. I think there could've turned the overhead music up a little to make the ambiance a little livelier but overall a very good experience. We will be back!

We went to dinner with our family for our son in laws celebration before he leaves for the Navy . He chose this restaurant and I was reluctant because of a bad experience here before. Mary the waitress took our order everyone ordered a meat or BBQ meal except me and I wasn't really hungry so ordered a salad . My salad was last and everyone was done eating before they got my order right. Mary said they forgot the chicken on my salad but don't worry it shouldn't be bad or anything?? That was reassuring! It was a spinach salad with chicken and it finally came out as we were leaving. Also should of known when it was 5:30 pm and nobody was there. This place is a joke terrible experience and horrible food.

It's not too late to save it. It has consistently gone downhill since opening. Place is 1/3 full on a Friday night and they are out of meatloaf at 5:00? This was Friday 5/2

Really cool spot. The live music was a plus and the artist allowed for special requests. The food was cooked to order but the wait time wasn't very long. This is a good spot for some home cooked options. Service was friendly and it wasn't overly crowded.

Delicious food! Love the variety of southern style dishes available. Next trip I hope to eat there again.
