Puckett's Restaurant

I went with my daughter around 1:30 pm, and we were seated without a wait and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. I saw someone mention kiosk ordering, but that wasn’t the case for us. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We got pimento cheese bites as an appetizer, and they were delicious. I got the chicken fried chicken and my daughter got the fried chicken. Our waitress let us know it would take 25 minutes because they make it fresh, but it was worth the wait. I had green beans and mashed potatoes with brown gravy with my entree, and they were both good. I also enjoyed their corn cakes-they look like pancakes, but made of corn. Overall, very good experience for 2 very hungry people.

First time trying this place out and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The BBQ is tender and juicy! Literally falls apart in your mouth. The BBQ Taco Salad isn’t your traditional taco salad with the shell and all that jazz but instead you get tortilla chips and that crunch hits different with the BBQ Ranch sauce. The Fried Green Tomatoes are highly recommended and the sauce add the right amount of twing to it and these bad boys, you could eat as a meal and be happy! The atmosphere is calming and yes, it’s a very popular restaurant so timing here is critical! We went for lunch versus dinner but can’t promise it won’t be busy during your trip. Still worth it! If you like BBQ, highly recommended! It puts West and Middle Tennessee to shame!

Seriously, the food was out of this world! I'm still dreaming about how incredibly flavorful everything was. That meatloaf, though – definitely the best I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. It's the kind of meal that makes you plan your next visit before you've even finished your current one. You've gotta try it if you get the chance!

We loved this place. After having a bad experience at another restaurant I decided to go to Pucketts because I thought we had been before and enjoyed it. The host experience was a little confusing it seemed maybe they were training someone. Our servers were wonderful, Shannon was also training a new server. Mainly for us, the food was good. It was a bit salty but not enough to make it inedible. We got the fried green tomatoes & I got chicken fried chicken.

Besides being a little noisy and crowded, we enjoyed it here. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We only ordered the large combo appetizer to try and loved it all. The boudin bites were my favorite. The fried green tomatoes also awesome!! The pimento cheese bites were good, just not as good as those first two! Would definitely go back again as the menu looked awesome in all.

I ordered my food to go, but man it was delicious. I had the Brisket Mac and Cheese and it was incredible. The Mac and Cheese alone is really, really good. My wife had the Country Fried Chicken which looked awesome. We also ordered some banana pudding and that was some of the best banana pudding ive had in quite some time. The restaurant itself looked very nice when I walked in and the staff were extremely attentive as soon as I walked in. Definitely come and check them out whenever you get the chance.

I met my friend for dinner. It was calm and relaxed. Not crowded, bc we are not " in season". I have a wheat allergy, and they accommodated my concerns. We had a lovely time, friendly server! The food was good, one of the few times I've finished my food! That says alot. ☺️

Puckett’s in Pigeon Forge hosted my mom’s 70th birthday party. They graciously let us book their private room very last-minute. From beginning to end, their team was fantastic! Christine, their events coordinator, communicated quickly and professionally. The manager and our server took great care of our guests, accommodating every last request we had from moving around tables and chairs, to menu requests, etc. And the food was amazing, as always!! HIGHLY recommend them! :)

Went to Puckett's after a long day of fishing in the sun (and later in the rain haha). After washing off, my friends and I were craving authentic southern food, and we had read a lot of reviews of this place on Yelp and TikTok that showed us a lot of promise. We don't typically eat southern food on a regular basis, but we have eaten from a lot of southern restaurants in the past. We walked in at about 4pm or so, it was kind of busy with a line to order food. When we walked in the line took us about 10 minutes with 2 groups in front us. Keep in mind that the line gets busy quick, with the line going out the door 1 hour after we arrived. Once you order food, you can find a table and hang up your table number so the servers know where to bring your food. After ordering food, we found a table and I went to the bar to get drinks. The drinks all looked super tasty, many of which were Ole Smokey Moonshine drinks. I ordered the Dreamsicle cocktail and a hard cider. The Dreamsicle was super tasty and did taste like a hard creamsicle, but it was super sweet and I felt like I needed to water it down a bit- especially because I know alcohol dehydrates me a bit. The cider was pretty refreshing and was semi-sweet. Their draft selection was a bit limited. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken with Mac-n-cheese and baked beans. The southern fried chicken had crispy skin that was nicely seasoned. The white meat was a bit dry but I dunked it in BBQ sauce to mask that. Mac-n-cheese was creamy and melted in your mouth. Baked beans were also delicious and contained sausage. We also asked our server for dessert recommendations and he recommended the fried brownie and the peach cobbler. Mind you I love chocolate, but I was craving something fruity that day. Nevertheless, the fried brownie was phenomenal- it was hot and had a crisp layer of batter on top of it, it had pecans for an extra crunch, and the ice cream melted on top of the brownie adding a creamy flavor to it. The peach cobbler was pretty good but nothing impressive. Overall, amazing food and fantastic service.

Saw it on our drive in, wasn't sure if we were going to go. Came back and went. Food was delicious, fresh and probably one of the best quick eats ever! Amber was also very amazing ! Update: Yesterday we tried this place for the first time and the food was amazing. The service by Amber was even better . We loved it so much that we came back the next day for a late lunch !!!! When we came the next day , we had Jay and he was just as amazing. Service both days was the best we've had since being in Gatlinburg. Shoutout to Amber and Jay and whoever was at the cash register was also amazing the second day !

The pork in macaroni and cheese was good. The meatloaf was way too dry and smoky, even with the sauce. My chicken sandwich was good though.

It's a fast casual restaurant. You order at the counter right at the front door. Food is southern comfort food. The line gets a bit crazy but moves fast. You also need to order your drinks from the bar. Bar service was very slow. Food came pretty quickly. They had warned it takes 30 mins for the fried chicken but it came faster than expected. Food was good. Piggy Mac was a hit. Mashed potatoes and Salmon were great. Fried chicken tasted great too. They do have live music but not while we were there.

Absolutely phenomenal! Nothing was left on anyone's plate: and I mean nothing. This is authentic southern cooking the way I remember when I was growing up. And the price was reasonable despite the state of our current economy. I recommend without reservation and believe this is a new gem in Pigeon Forge!

After having purchased Puckett's bbq sauce at my grocery store we decided to try the restaurant. I ordered the veggie plate with collards, mashed sweet potatoes, and potato salad. My son ordered a full slab of ribs, coleslaw and mac and cheese. All the veggies were good, the potato salad has a Cajun style seasoning in it, collards are fresh and not chopped mushy mess. The Mac and cheese was really good and tasted homemade. Our favorite only disappointment was the ribs. We are used to meaty juicy ribs and these ribs were not that. Then are long smoked over cherry wood and St. Louis style rather than baby back. So they had a good taste but needed a lot of sauce to not feel so dry in the mouth. We said next time we will just try the pulled pork since it's fattier meat.

Food was very good. Once at the restaurant you walk in and order your food 1st then you are seated. This line was a bit long and time consuming. However, once we were seated the food came out quick. I even ordered the fried chicken and it said it would take a little longer. But it wasn't long at all. The chicken was very tasty(seasoned well) and hot. My daughter order the shrimp and grits with no bbq sauce. They forgot to leave the bbq sauce off but kindly correct her order. My sisters fried sticky ribs were very good as well. I recommend this restaurant to others and will return if back in town again. The servers were nice and the restaurant was clean and had a good ambiance.

Great local food! No chain restaurant here. Delicious! Very friendly staff. Everything was so delicious!!! A++++++

Food was good, service was great! But, if you're going to charge that much for a Bloody Mary, I expect more than a juice glass.

As we were driving to Pigeon Forge from Savannah, I started Yelping restaurants in the PF area. I had one picked out but the family saw Puckett's across the street from our hotel and wanted to try it out, so we decided to go there. We arrived at 6:00 on a Friday night and thought for sure we would have a wait; we were so wrong. There was only one family in front of us in line to order (ordering is done as you walk into the restaurant then a server will bring you your food). We ordered a chicken tender platter with fries, a classic burger with mashed potatoes, a BBQ platter with a smoked sausage and a piggy mac. We also had drinks (we loved the size of our drinks!). Our food arrived at our table about 10 minutes after ordering; the order was correct and our food was piping hot. Everything we ordered was made to perfection and everything was very good. The restaurant is cute and clean but the room we were sitting in is a bit echo-y... we could hear all the conversations around us, loud and clear.

Since we were in Tennessee, we went looking for BBQ for dinner. Based on fellow Yelp reviews, we decided to try Puckett's. Upon entering, they take your order and then you sit at a table and they bring the food. There was live entertainment in the evening to enjoy. We started with fried string beans which were very good. Then we had smoked meatloaf and Puckett's BBQ platter each with 2 sides. The portion size were enough for us. A nice casual atmosphere. Recommend trying it if you're in town.

I was a tourist last week in the area and I heard that Puckett's is a place the locals like to frequent and I was aware that it has award winning BBQ. My friend ordered their barbecue platter and he said it was delicious. It looked a little dry to me. I ordered the chicken tenders off of the appetizer menu and a side of baked beans and potato salad. The chicken was juicy, crunchy and overall delicious. Now the baked beans and potato salad I didn't expect to meet my expectations because I am very particular about these sides. In this instance, they surpassed my expectations! My only complaint would be that you order at the front counter and seat yourself. You get your own beverages and refills. However, a girl kept coming by the table telling us she is our server, except she didn't even bring out the food from the kitchen. She was actually the cashier intimidating us to leave a tip for her, when she provided no service to us. Moreover, she did not have a smile and appeared to not be in a good mood. This didn't make our experience as well as it should have been. Overall, I recommend you check out this restaurant and live music when in Pigeon Forge, Nashville or one of their other locations.

$17.00 for two orders of stale fries and a really cute cast iron skillet with a handful of noodles with a piece of cheese on it...

This is not my normal style of eating but we were a large group and needed a place on a Saturday night - so this accommodated us. I had the Southern Fried Chicken. It was delivered faster than promised and hot, I thought it was tasty. I had the baked beans and cowboy caviar. Both acceptable. That being said, my friends said the catfish was ok, the breading had a spice they didn't care for. The sweet potato fries were cold. And the slaw tasted like it had been boiled, she had one bite and didn't finish. But if you have a group or are short on time, this place will fit your bill

If you're looking for some deep fried southern food, this is your place! The menu included several favorites. I ordered the fried smoked bologna sandwich. My wife and daughter split a BLT with fried pickles. That was plenty food for us all (the sandwiches come with sides). The portions are huge! The food was average - not terribly remarkable. It's not a traditional family-style restaurant. You order right when you all in the door. Knocked down to 3 stars because the waitress was coughing without covering her mouth throughout our time there.

This was our first time trying Puckett's and it definitely will not be our last! I had the pulled pork sliders and fries. Delicious pork on sliders buns and crispy French fries. Also came with a sampling of coleslaw. The pork was cooked great and had great flavor. Just my personal taste, I would have wanted some more cole slaw to put on each slider, but they were very good just the same! My wife had the pork nachos. Generous serving topped with sour cream, cilantro, and fresh jalapeños. The nachos were the ones that are good and thin and were an excellent base to the pork and toppings. Comes with a side of salsa which was an excellent addition to the meal. This is a great local place and it is very affordable. Prices are more like 'back home' prices and not like many other 'tourist location' restaurants. Our waitress tonight was Sharon and she did an outstanding job taking care of us and the others in our area. Of course, I always look at what others order and the sampler and the country fried chicken are on most to try next time. It is easy to see why they were voted one of the top 10 BBQ restaurants in the area. Great local spot for Memphis Style barbecue. Be sure and ask what section Sharon is working when you visit here! Located next door to Christmas Place.

Service was great, but make sure you know the drill. It's not ran like a typical restaurant. The sweet human upfront let us know what to do and even provided recommendations upon request. We started with the fried greenbeans. Then, I had the country fried chicken with fries and collard greens. (A bit salty over all), and hubby had the piggy mac(very creamy) more mac than piggy. We both enjoyed the spicy BBQ sauce provided on the table. Both served with a Cajun seasoned corn pan cake which hubby enjoyed. We left full, but I drank a lot of tea from the saltiness.

Different cheesesteak #110 in the last five years. I broke my own rule for the 2nd and final and got cheesesteak outside of the Philly area. I got the Nashville Cheesesteak. $12 and it came with a side. I paid the $2 for a premium side of mac & cheese. I loved the brisket, mac & cheese and sassy bartender. I liked the order and pay as you enter the building. I liked the cheese sauce. I ate the brisket out of my cheesesteak with my fork. The roll, cheese sauce and extras were very tasty the next day. I highly recommend the piggy mac & cheese.

Predictable but we had an awesome server named Maddie. She was super friendly and knew her food selections. Prompt service and good food.

Had serious doubts about the bbq, but it turns out both the brisket and pork were legit. Had the brisket cheesesteak, and I could distinctly taste the smoke, the bbq sauce complimented the cheese nicely surprisingly. Sampled the piggy mac and that was fantastic as well. Next time I'll just get a bbq platter because its a lot more calories drowning good bbq in cheese lol Just FYI...I was a little disappointed at first because as of this date they don't offer brunch. And I didn't like having to order at the counter bc I like perusing the menu first. But the food was so good it made up for the little inconveniences.

We were looking for place that had sandwiches specifically a BLT. So I saw Puckett s had a BLT so off we went to get it. To my surprise when we came in they had fried green beans amazing so I got them. I took a bite of them and they were delicious. Pure delicious if you like green beans. The BLT was phenomenal. It actually had bacon on it and lots of it. it was one of the best BLTs I've had in a long time. So if you are in the mood for a BLT, stop by Pucketts's and get the best BLT, you won't be disappointed. We saw the next table, get the phenomenal fried brownie, but we were too full maybe next time but it' looked amazing, if you are a chocolate lover check it out and make sure you get extra spoons so you can share. Next time we are will town we will be back. Thank you

delicious food, lots and lots to choose from, and very friendly staff. i got the pulled pork sliders and they did not disappoint. the french fries were also very good! i dip mine in ranch and the ranch was great too, they definitely make it in house.

Not a fan of the way they take orders up front and then you wait at your table for the food. Feels impersonal and the cashier was rude and rushy. Had a long line we had to wait in with our fussy kids instead of being able to seat them at a table to color while we ordered like we typically would. They must have had a skeleton crew in the kitchen because the food took forever to come out even though they weren't very busy. Furthermore, they brought the wrong salad dressing. The waitress must have had to go to the store to buy more dressing with how long it took to bring the correct one out. The food was average for the price. Nothing to write home about. Overall an ok place to eat but we probably won't be back.

Went to this place for lunch before baseball and really were impressed with the food. We had burgers and fried chicken. The burgers were as good as I've had in a long time but the fried chicken was absolutely delicious.

The food was mediocre at best. In no way is this place a go to for good BBQ. I ordered the Whiskey Chicken. Sent chicken back, completely inedible. This was after waiting 30 minutes. Only really good thing on anyone's plate was the grits.

I came here at about 7:00 in the evening for some food. The wait was very long, and I ended up just getting take-out. What I didn't expect, though, was that takeout would take over 45 minutes! What's more, when I finally got my food, the chicken wings were very chewy and a little undercooked, the coating on the chicken wings was not what I ordered, and the fries were okay. I didn't stay inside for long, but the decor looked nice and the hostess was nice. Overall, I wouldn't have this restaurant be my first pick.

Our first impression was pretty bad. There is a big sign saying you can order from your phone at the table. (Typically it is an order-at-the-door Situation). As we were at a table ordering on a phone an employee even came by to make sure the process was going smoothly. Turns out it wasn't, the app would not allow us to pay and complete our order. When we asked for help we were given none and instead instructed to go to the back of the line. We had a pregnant woman and a 16 month old with us. There was no sympathy or an apology for the inconvenience. This added over 15 minutes to our wait time and we almost walked away (not so much having to return to the line but having to go to the end and the attitude we got). While in line we noticed quite a few people left when they saw the length of the line. The reviews from locals were good though and the ambience seemed nice so we decided to wait, again. We finally got our order placed. The food came out in 25 minutes. The wings and ribs were good. The burger, potato salad and beans are all decent - not the best we've ever had but not bad. We decided to order dessert. Again, they said we could order from the table. (There was also a sign at the table saying that). We gave our orders to the waitress and waited. And waited. Finally one of us got up to see what was going on. Apparently they were waiting for us to come up and pay. This was never said. They did bring them out shortly after we paid for them. Thankfully the desserts were delicious. This would be an easy five stars for us if there hadn't been the issue around ordering/paying and the staff's reaction to that. I'm still giving four stars.

The food was pretty good not great but is was alright. It was kind of dark in the restaurant and some of the patrons were table service and some were not. It was all very confusing. Our party happened to be table service and after we got our food a "server" came to our table the only thing she did was try to take our plates while we were still eating she really didn't do anything she just asked for all our stuff as soon as we put our silverware down. So many other better places to eat in the area.

Very small servings for prices they charge. You order and pay before you are seated. Me and another member in our party got the BBQ salad. I ordered a large and she ordered a small. I was charged $14.99 and she was charged $10.59 When our salads arrived they were the same size. I showed the waitress and she said they would credit my account. It was not credited and I paid nearly $5 too much for my salad. The food was not that good. I would not recommend.

Tried Puckett's and what a great choice we made. The food was superb. I had the bbq plate. The pulled pork was excellent and the beef brisket was out of this world. Melt in your mouth good. My wife had the chicken fried chicken and she enjoyed it as well. Try this place for the food. You will not regret it.

The place is decorated very well and is enjoyable. It was a little on the chilly side in the dining area and the restroom was downright cold. We had Puckett's Mojo Burger. It has slaw, baked beans, cheese, pulled pork, and BBQ ranch. The burger itself and the fries were great! Loved it! We always eat BBQ sauce with our fries and the sauce was just okay. It was very runny and very sweet. The spicy version. Is not spicy at all. We asked twice for the Coke Zero syrup to be replenished since it was out. It didn't happen before we left. The service was kind and friendly. I would give it another try since they were kind and the food was good. Maybe it was an off day?

Food - not good ! Ordered beef brisket and it was full of fat green beans I felt came out of a can and coleslaw had no flavor. Mashed potatoes were good though Service was non existent Ambience- good

Just got into town and needed some lunch, decided to walk next door and have to say we really enjoyed our Nachos with pulled pork and Cobb Salad. Their smoked salsa is wonderful, not spicy but great flavor.

Great menu and even better food! The sampler could easily feed three or more! It wasn't your basic bbq place, they have a fantastic selection!

Amazing service; very kind servers and very nice management. Mike the manager was very nice to us, came in and spoke to us. Brandon AKA POLLO was an awesome server and took care of us and was very helpful.

Ordered the pimento cheese balls, and was thoroughly impressed. They are delicious...especially with the jalapeño jelly that comes with it!!! Also ordered the vegetable plate with potato salad, steamed broccoli and Cole slaw. The coleslaw was ok, but the other two All threewere delicious!!! My Dad had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. He said all three were delicious. Finished off the meal with banana pudding. It was ok. I definitely make it better. LOL

As others commented,I personally don't like the fast food ordering style,walk in, and order off the menu that's at the register. But I will say the food was on point. My wife and I both had the bbq platters. I had the mac and cheese, which was delicious she really liked the baked beans. I really liked the get your own drinks and refills others have commented that they didn't, but it didn't bother me.

Stopped in and got the ribs and chicken, both very good. Nice place, clean, quick! Wouldn't hesitate to return

We walked in and ordered. Took about 10 minutes for our food to come out. Food was amazing and service was great. Love the decorations in the restaurant. We will definitely put this on our list of places to try again.

I would try this early in the day or evening. We went about an hour before closing, which shouldn't have been a factor, or perhaps we ordered the wrong thing, but I wouldn't try this place late in the day. I give it a three, because I didn't throw up, but I wouldn't go back!

Greeted by a person who obviously hated her job and she was the order taker up front. The fried chicken is good but everything else was just so so. Nothing to write home about and I don't think it is the local place they advertised it to be.

Came here for lunch- this places food is incredible. Every single person in our party enjoyed their food! Was a little pricey but what isn't in Pigeon Forge, & we don't mind paying more for good food. Def will be back!

Really enjoyed this restaurant! This was our second visit to this location in Pigeon Forge, last year was the first and we just had to come back this year. The service was very fast and friendly. They have modified their model to be counter service for ordering. It makes the ordering process much faster and helps with the staffing crunch still being experienced in the restaurant industry. The food came out extremely fast and was piping hot and delicious!! The restrooms are very clean and large. There's a great bar area and also a private room for larger groups. Make sure when visiting Pigeon Forge that you make a stop into Puckett's...it's often overlooked as it's nestled next to the Christmas stores. It is a great restaurant and we highly recommend a visit!

Our first walk in the door was confusing as we did not know we had to order right then, even after reading a bit about this restaurant online. So that was and could be overwhelming to some. Nice menu selections and front staff was very helpful and provided clear directions. Waiter (Brandon) was FANTASTIC!! Food was fast and delicious. Our party ordered a wide variety so we could sample lots of choices. Salads were big and fresh. Kids loved their sandwiches and mac/cheese. The brisket and smoked sausage was wonderful, fantastic platter. Sauces on the table with plenty of napkins available. Serve yourself drinks. Everything was clean. We love trying new places and so glad we chose Puckett's. Would absolutely return.

Interesting set up. You order when you come in at the desk then choose a seat. That isn't my favorite but the food was delicious. Meatloaf was a large serving very good, sides were great. Ribs were fall off the bone and very well seasoned, choice of sauces on the table. Greens were tender but too salty other sides were awesome. Definitely would recommend it.

Small-town Mississippi girl here - I know good food. This is good food. The collard greens are exceptional - possibly the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Pimento Cheese Bites - extremely good. The table shared the Cherry Smoked Wings in whiskey glaze - excellent. Husband got the fried catfish and said it was very good. Friend got the Piggy Mac and said it was delicious. Other friend got the Chicken Fried Chicken and loved it. I am extremely impressed. Lu checked on us and did a great job. We were very pleased!

the staff was friendly and service was quick. That being said...my ribs were burned. We got someone else's order then we got the sides I ordered too. The Cole slaw was just marginal. The beans had a spice I did not find natural. The Mac and cheese is good...the piggy Mac is a meal by itself. The place was highly recommended but my order was messed up and my meat burned. I won't be back.

This is a hidden gem! We have been coming to Pigeon Forge for years and have never eaten here. The atmosphere is so southern comfort. Not to mention the food is delicious! The portions are well worth the money, but the prices are near what I thought I would pay for a BBQ restaurant. I 10/10 recommend making time for Puckett's!

My husband and I picked the whole farm ( I think is what it's called) it's basically a sampling of all their barbecue and when I say sample it's a very small portion of each. I was under the impression this was going to be enough food for two people, absolutely not. You get two sides and they're individual portion sizes like portioned for one person. The bbq was extremely dry except for the chicken. I was so let down because I've always read great reviews for this place.
