Love the physical ambiance, space and deck and that it is pet friendly, even with a small dog park. I usually come 3x/week for about an hour to get work done while in transit between appointments. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the overhead music is a crap shoot. I'll elaborate. Today, as I sit here to write this, the music inside is super loud, like can't-have-a-conversation loud. I mentioned it to the bartender and they said they turned it down earlier in one small room (that doesn't have a door) but they made no attempt to turn it down in the main area, which pushes me outside (which I don't necessarily mind). The outside music level today is softer than inside but borderline too loud as well. People trying to work or visit or relax are bombarded by a heavy beat. I feel like I'm at the club! The other day when I was here around the same time, the music playing had a bunch of cursing in it, which in and of itself is not a terrible thing, BUT, because this place is family friendly, it was a real turnoff. Makes me wonder about bringing my kiddos here with me in the future. With that said, it is a great spot to come hangout, but if you want to talk or get work done, bring your noise canceling headphones or be prepared to be outside on their awesome patio, weather dependent. I guess the managers let the staff choose whatever music, which is refreshing, but maybe need to make sure we have the "radio versions" of songs so it is appropriate for little ears. great drinks and coffee. (I haven't tried the food trucks)
