The best taco I’ve had in a very long time. Al Pastor. Ordered two tacos per person and it was a perfect filling portion. Fresh ingredients and delicate meat that’s seasoned and prepared to perfection. 100% will order from them again. Absolutely delicious. Amazing creation.

My first visit and I'll eat there again! I'm from Cali and I grew up on street tacos these were sooooo close to what I grew up on. Very tasty and the tortilla was homemade! The cashier was very nice but I didn't get her name. I didn't give 5 stars because the pictures show cilantro and onions but my taco had bell peppers and onions just thrown on and I feel $3.85 per taco is expensive even though it seems to be common here.

Armadillo Den is my favorite local bar, but Viejo is the worst truck to have here. The ladies that work here are rude and don't seem to care about their job. Today was the third time I've ordered from them and it was just as bad as the two times before. 1) it took, I kid you not, 40 minutes to get two tacos. When I showed up the young lady realized the order wasn't ready and I waited another five minutes to get my two tacos. They were both cold and the the tacos themselves were burned and hard from sitting under the heat lamp. I'm a soldier and used to bad food but damn. For five dollar per taco you'd expect better. Seriously, eat before you come here or avoid the Den

This is why it's so important to rate the restaurants you enjoy eating at. This place does not deserve a 1.5 star rating, no idea what those other reviewers are talking about. Pueblo Viejo has highly rated food trucks around Austin and this location is of the same great quality. We're in a pandemic, don't be the guy who gives a 1 star review to a good business trying to survive.

Went for the first time today just based on Yelp reviews and y’all… this place is life changing! Best tacos I’ve ever had and a damnnn good margarita to go with it. Happy, respectful staff members. Amazing green salsa for the tacos. Can’t wait to go back!!

Google
Great atmosphere, would recommend coming here however this food truck is not good. Tried the Gordita and the tacos. Did not like the seasoning, meat or tortillas. Your experience may vary. Nice people working there

Yelp
I was surprised to see that this food truck didn't have 5 stars. For us, the food was great. The service was fast. And the price was spot on. We ordered the Al pastor plate with Mexican rice and refried beans. And the fish taco plate with Mexican rice and refried beans. The rice was actually pretty good for a food truck and the refried beans tasted fresh and not canned. My fish tacos were fresh and savory. All the ingredients were spot on. My wife's Al pastor tacos were yummy enough that it was her second time eating them. We did order a side of chips and queso and they were good enough but ended up being too much food all together. We got drinks at the bar and they were good. We went on a Thursday for lunch and literally nobody was there lol. Highly recommend going on a Thursday :)

Yelp
Hey! This food truck is On-Point every time! My usual is Chicken Nachos which never let you down. And the steak taco plate...oh baby now I want to order some!! Seriously though! If you're at Armadillo Den and feel a hankering for in my opinion, some Award Winning Tacos or Unforgettable Nachos... check this place out!

Yelp
Poor choice on our part to choose Pueblo Viejo amongst the other options for a light snack before dinner. We were in the mood for some sort of chips & guac, chips & queso, or the like. We opted for the chips & queso. 9 freaking dollars and some change for a basket of broken chips/crumbs and some cheez whiz in a cup. Like come on. If you're going to charge out the butt for your queso, make it something worth remembering and not something I can get off the shelf at HEB in the chip aisle. Highly recommend looking at the other options available because right about now, those are looking a hella lot more appetizing than what PV just robbed us for.

Yelp
If you're at Armadillo Den, look no further. Order your food here, forget the rest. We ordered a few tacos. Pleasantly surprised by the steak taco and Al pastor taco! Doesn't look like much, but those things were so flavorful. Authentic Mexican street tacos. Great char and tender meat. Try mixing the creamy Serrano and tomatillo salsas. Not sure if there's an option for corn tortillas, but the default is flour. I am definitely a corn tortilla over flour person, but this is the first time I didn't even mind the flour tortilla with the tacos. It was THAT flavorful and delicious. Will be getting food from this food truck every time we are at Armadillo Den for sure.

Yelp
Such a disappointing taco, I have had this place plenty of times and my order was 3 steak quesadilla tacos and I got steak tacos. When I asked the staff they said this was my order and couldn't speak English to have a conversation...needless to say someone working needs to be able to have a conversation in English to address issues.

Yelp
The quality of the food is amazing the taste is out of this world not to exaggerate the customer service is great they are kind and always wish you a great day I and the best part is that their bilingual and treat everyone the same. And the prices are good not too expensive and not to cheap the prices sound just right. I recommend the salad bowl.

Orlando L.

Yelp
These folks don't get it, it doesn't matter how good your tacos are. If you don't allow people to even buy extra salsa to put on their tacos than it's a joke. Salsa makes up 50 percent of the taco ... so sad.. very disappointing..they give you the smallest amount of salsa ... come on man!

Yelp
Got the taco plate with pastor and it was amazing! Def will go back. One of the best pastor I've had in Austin. So good I had to write a review asap.

Yelp
Come here quite often. Food is good and fairly priced. They started off rocky but they have come along way. I probably eat here three times a week.
