Yelp
Heard many San Diego peeps rave about this spot and how they decided to go for the elevated Mexican cuisine. The ambience is very dim and intimate. Knowing that, do expect higher prices but higher quality ingredients. Yes, one taco is like the cost of one meal somewhere else, but if you try it, you can see why it's priced at that point. The good thing is, is that if you love their tacos, they have TACO TUESDAY deals that is only available during dine-in. Half off on tacos, which is a pretty good deal. I would recommend making a reservation to avoid having to wait, especially if you're going during the weekend.

Watermelon Margarita $18 - Asked our server for a recommendation and he gave me this one or the cucumber margarita. He explained this one to be like drinking a watermelon jolly rancher. It tasted exactly how he describe it except not as sweet which was good for me!
Passion Fruit & Mango Shrimp Ceviche $18- Got this as an appetizer and I enjoyed the flavors of each bite. Shrimp tasted fresh!
Filet Mignon Taco $11- So I have a pistachio allergy so I had to get it without the salsa, but let me tell you, it was still so good and flavorful without it, so I can't imagine how much more flavorful it would be with the salsa. This was my favorite out of all the tacos that I got that I even ordered a 2nd one because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Love that they wrap the meat around a layer of cheese, ughhhhhh I want this now
Lobster Taco $17- Soooo good, my 2nd favorite. There was a decent amount of lobster in the taco. It is quite pricey, so I would probably only get it if it was during Taco Tuesday
Tamarindo Shrimp Taco $11- We originally wanted the birria taco but they ran out for the night so this was the server's recommendation. This one was pretty good, came with three shrimps in each taco. Flavors meshed well with each other and the shrimp didn't taste rubbery.
Baja Fish Tacos $10 - This wasn't bad but nothing particularly special about it, you can definitely get better baja fish tacos somewhere else, so I would personally pass on this considering they have other seafood options that are better in my opinion.
