Puffle Waffle

I rated the service two stars because it was unsatisfactory. The pricing of the ice cream was confusing, requiring me to wait in line twice to pay extra for pineapple. However, I would give the ice cream's taste a five-star rating.

The ice cream is delicious, and the girl at the counter is friendly and always smiling. You can really see that you’re improving every day — love that you give a cup to keep the ice cream from leaking through the cone.The only downside is that the wait can be a bit long sometimes.

You get to custom your waffle and toppings... who wouldn't want to eat this?! 😍🤩 🍨My go-to is chocolate waffle with chocolate ice cream, and for toppings are bananas with rainbow mochi! Yummyyy 🤤😋 And the waffles alone are just as good! 😊 🩷 ⭐️Highly recommended! Located at Clackamas Town Center, 1st level ⭐️

7/14/24: Tables and floor were very dirty , witness team members wearing gloves as they were drinking and eating and then Touching customers food, very poor food handling safety! The waffle was hot and presentation is a+. We just need to work on the food safety!

The staff was really nice and patience with us. The ice cream was pretty good🤤 But! the egg waffle has a weird taste to it.🤔 Forgive me not knowing how to describe it. But artificial? Plastic-y? Baking powder? Like it’s not bad but the waffle isn’t my thing 🤷🏻‍♀️

This place is in a kiosk location inside one of the entrances of the Clackamas Mall. You can smell the delicious bubble waffles cooking in all parts of the mall. Found this on Yelp, as I was craving some dessert. You can create your own concoction or you can pick one of their fan favorites. I opted for a fruit medley with a regular bubble waffle cone. The bubble waffle concept as a cone is AMAZING! Unlike sugar cones, or waffle cones, the bubble waffle doesn't break apart. It only comes apart in the small bubble chunks as you devour the delicious and smooth ice cream. After taking several bites, I was in awe of how good tasting this is. I was pretty full from my dinner I ate next door (see Bon Chon review), but I was left wanting another full size bubble waffle dessert. So delicious and fantastic dessert! 5/5, must visit!!

Kiosk located in mall, dessert was super tasty. Ice cream tasted good, waffle was super warm and perfect consistency, strawberries were a good topping. Next time I think I'll try the coconut flavor! The concept of a warm waffle with ice cream is super good! Service was quick, and it's a chill vibe since it's just located in the mall near Forever 21.

Pretty good for being a standalone in the mall. They were somewhat quick for having to make the waffle and assemble your cone. Presentation is a on point and flavors were great. It's huge so this should be shared. I mean, if you can eat it all yourself, more power to you! I tried, but I had a lot of sushi right before and needed dessert so I got a puffle waffle. You can create your own or get one of their creations. They also have sugar and cake cones plus individual cups if you don't want the waffle. I created my own and got a puffle waffle, huckleberry cheesecake ice cream, fresh strawberries, and strawberry drizzle. It was amazing but I felt like the huckleberry ice cream was too rich. I should have gotten plain vanilla. The waffle was soo good. I could have gotten the waffle itself and been satisfied. Now I know next time what to get!

Came because I saw them on a TV show. Enjoyed the coffee puffle waffle. Would've tried the peanut butter one if they had it. Great place.

I've been getting puddle waffle for years and unfortunately today will be my last. The quality of the ice cream was drastically declined. It was honestly inedible. Additionally, my order was messed up and the girl behind the counter refused to redo it. I loved going here whenever I went to the mall but I'll be avoiding it for now on. :(

This was a gem we found in the middle of the Clackamas Mall. Three of us were looking for a nice treat on our last day together on this work trip. We were craving some cake and ice cream and this place delivered. Instructions on how to order were easy and the two ladies behind the counter were very helpful and patient. I ordered the Berry Delight which has the original waffle for the cone and huckleberry cheesecake ice cream as the base. There was a generous portion of strawberry, blueberry and blackberry with some glaze as the topping. The waffle was served warm, we saw them make it fresh. It was crispy outside and soft inside. It perfectly complemented the ice cream and berries. It hit the spot for me! My two friends also enjoyed the Pina Colada and Vanilla Ice Cream with mango boba, I wish they had this in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This place is on the JC Penney side of the mall. They are waffles puffed around a generous scoop of Umpqua ice cream. They are handheld. They charge $9 for one. I believe for Umpqua ice cream that is really pressing it. It just means instead of making this a frequent treat before a movie, it's only a treat once in a while. Give them a 15-20 minute time buffer. These things take a while to make and there is usually a small line. If you don't want to pay nine bucks you can always just grab a cup of ice cream with some toppings added. It's not much special, and it's spendy. Umpqua just isn't worth nine dollars, waffle or not.

This place is great! What a fun thing to do! Enter the mall by the Starbucks near Barnes and Noble. Order on the corner by the screen. Everyone else is waiting! The waffles need to be cooled before you put ice cream and it's a process. Both plain and matcha flavor were great. I had huckleberry cheesecake, some berry sauce and a strawberry. Loved the flavors and all the options. One downfall is that it's in the mall so you have to go in to experience it, but it's near a candy store so you can shop for whatever holiday is on the horizon while you wait.

Unfortunately there was what seem to be an eyelash hair in my ice cream. I know it is pretty much out of their control for that to happen but it still pretty gross. The ice cream overall was really good but you have to eat it pretty fast as it starts leaking from the bottom and creates a really big mess. The Waffle at first is crunchy and just delicious with a vanilla flavoring. I wish the cup would be more resistant for the melting ice cream as it really did cause a lot of mess and stickiness and the hair was just gross

Delicious, sweet, perfect, fluffy, sugary, sweet puffle waffles! As a Seattlite, I have never seen this kind of dessert before! Me and my friend just fell in love with this dessert. Beware, because you will get hooked! Freshly made puffle waffles with scoops of ice cream inside topped with yummy candy and saucy toppings. Mm! You can choose from a selection of signature puffle waffles or build your own. They have vanilla, matcha, and chocolate batter for your waffles. I only wish this had this in Seattle! Literally ate here 2 days in a row when we visited Portland. If you haven't had a puffle waffle before, you must devulge yourself in one here.

soo good!! Glad I got one bc the one in Cali is too far from me. Plus they have Ube ice cream I got the plain cone w Ube ice cream, condensed milk, and fruity pebbles. The worker gave me 1 big scoop instead of 2 small ones, since I couldn't make up my mind. I'd love to come back just for the Ube!

I'm not ashamed to admit I spent weeks thinking about puffle waffles before I ever tried one... trying to find them on various brunch menus, trying to work them into my plans for the day on multiple occasions... looking at pictures of them on strangers' instagrams, etc. SO you can imagine my delight when I happened to stumble upon them in the mall! AND my excitement when I found that it was even more delicious and warm and puffy than I could have ever imagined! Thank you, puffle waffle, for making my day! Please add more locations.

Don't come here unless you want to wait + 20min for your ice cream. There's 4 workers and no lines. These kids have no sense of urgency, it's crazy... whose managing this place?

My daughter loves Puffle Waffle! Great tasting treats and awesome service! Their waffles are the best compared to other egg waffles in the area. I definitely recommend coming here to get a quick treat when you're at the mall. They offer tons of options for toppings as ice cream!

Thanks for charging me $6.50 plus $1 tip and using the cold waffle that was sitting on the counter. No line. No pressure. But just a cold waffle.

I came here around 6 o'clock on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all. The concession stand is in the middle of the mall in a weird location. It's not too big but it's also not too small. I ordered the queen of matcha waffle with a single scoop for 6 dollars and they didn't even have the matcha ice cream. It came with the green tea waffle, green tea pocky, Mochi, condensed milk, and green tea ice cream but they didn't have anymore of the ice cream which resulted in me getting coconut. I wasn't really a fan of the Mochi or pocky but the waffle had the right amount of crispiness on the outside and softness in the inside and the coconut ice cream was refreshing with the coconut flakes mixed in. My boyfriend got the berry delight with a single scoop for 6 dollars also and it came with the original waffle, huckleberry cheese ice cream, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberry sauce. The waffle was a unique placeholder for the ice cream cone and the fruit helped balance out the sweetness from the waffle and ice cream. I would come back here but to get something else than what I got.

I love this place everything is so good! The only issues was when I went in today the worker there was not the most welcoming or nice.

Waffle is so tasty!! Don't even need the ice cream, but of course I got it. Employees are top notch and take their waffle making very seriously. Highly recommend!

Sadly I am only giving them three stars as this was my first time and I am not sure if I had too high expectations. The Puffle Waffle seems like a novel concept, but I thought it would taste better than it did. I went simple with a Green Tea waffle and Ube ice cream so that I could taste the waffle, but the waffle was cold and flavorless (none of the "creamy/custardy" filling I had heard about) and the ice cream wasn't that flavorful. I might go back just to see if it was a fluke and adjust the stars at that point, however if this is your first time you should go for the novelty of the experience and actually boost your order with several types of toppings and different scoops of ice cream. I wish them luck as it is fun to have new dessert places to try!

I had been wanting to try Puffle Waffle for a while. My sister bought one for herself, but said that the matcha flavor was too strong and almost grassy. I personally enjoyed the flavor, and the waffle itself was good too. Loved the Pocky and mochi toppings.

I got this for my birthday and it was the best waffle with icecream I've ever had in my life and you can customize it yourself 5 stars

This place is dangerous good with the egg waffle and matcha ice cream. However, people who work here are too busy with their cell phones and chatting with each other. Waiting for 20 minutes to get a snack made is not acceptable and I was the only customer at that time.

All the flavors are fantastic, but I really love the chocolate waffle with green tea ice cream. Highly recommend!
