First of all as you see there are doughnut holes in the box. Thanks!! We didn't order those. Welcome surprise to us. Some doughnuts that we bought are not shown, because they disappeared so quickly. 😋 I would recommend going there. We couldn't order online but we went and were not disappointed. We are going to be returning soon.

They sell the best chocolate cream filled donuts in the state. The filling is silky smooth with a very large quantity through the donut. Also they sell a mean apple fritter. They have lots of extra options you can order ahead of time. Just a quick drive from the MSP airport. If you are flying into town swing by and grab a donut or box Tuesday - Sunday mornings before noon. If you stop, tell them Jeff sent you.

Plan ahead note: Sometimes there’s a line on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so be ready to wait a couple minutes (it moves quickly). Also, the later in the day you go, the more likely they’ll be sold out of the more popular donuts. However, if you call ahead in the morning, they’ll set donuts aside for you! Driving there, you’ll see it tucked in the strip mall along Yankee Doodle, but you enter the parking lot from coachman road and drive around the Marathon. Donuts were good, average in taste 🍩 though one of them was a little stale. But the flavors were good and I loved the donut holes. Better than the grocery store.

I’ve been here several times and I am always happy with the service. Staff are friendly and quick! I’ve had both cake and raised donuts here. I like both but my favorite are the donut holes. They seems to always throw in a few for free which is a nice little bonus.

The amount of delicious cream in the donuts is insane! I got both vanilla and chocolate. The donut was light, tasted freshly baked. The cream was fluffy, delicious, not overly sweet. I also got blueberry cake based on their recommendation and it ended up being my favorite one. The service was wonderful. Doesn’t hurt it’s open early and near the airport! I stopped by on my way to drop off ✈️

This place is the best. I will only go here when I need donuts for work. They are always friendly and the donuts are always fresh and so good. When my boss from South Dakota come he ask that we get their Apple fritter and raised donuts. I also love that it is a small business that is operated by people that care about what they do.

Best donuts around! My family loves when I wake up early enough to get donuts before this place closes at noon. The service is always so fast and friendly. It's family owned. The ambiance is lacking and the store looks tired, but I kind of like it that way for my donut shop. I feel like they're keeping costs as low as possible for me. It's not like I stay there to eat my donuts.

This donut shop came through on my Instagram feed, and it looked and sounded delicious. I then checked the Yelp ratings and decided to make the trek to give them a try. Was hopeful as they were quite busy. We ordered the lemon bismark, custard-filled, and chocolate iced old-fashioned donut. The flavor of the donut "dough" was really good. The lemon and custard filled had a lot of filling and were quite good. The old-fashioned could have been crispier, and the chocolate icing was okay. The donuts were a little on the small size, compared to other shops, and they were $2 each.

Puffy Cream is always the best spot in town for delicious classic donuts! They made the perfect donuts for our daughter's graduation party. The donut wall was a hit!

This place has the best doughnuts I have ever had and I'm the kind of guy that has eaten a lot of doughnuts at many different business meetings brought in from far and wide! Puffy cream doughnuts will not disappoint. These were light and tasty and the doughnuts with icing has a generous amount (but not too much) applied with care to each puff pastry. Well done Puffy Cream Doughnuts of Eagan, MN, well done!

Can't believe this gem is hidden in Eagan, MN!! Puffy Cream Donut Plus has delicious donuts and for such a cheap rate. The ladies that work there was so friendly and helpful. They also gave us a couple donut holes for free. We got an old fashioned chocolate glazed, regular chocolate glazed, regular glazed, and a sugared donut. The donuts are so fresh and soft. I love the assortment they have available as well. It doesn't seem too popular yet but I see it picking up soon, word will get around!

Sold out at 8am. What are they going to do for the next 4 hours? Who knows. I have no idea how good the donuts are and I suppose I never will.

This was a very "meh" experience and we loved Puffy Cream over the past couple years. That said, we've been away from this shop for the past 9 months or so just exploring and trying not to eat donuts every weekend. Overall: the puffy cream donut dough recipe is very solid across all of their donuts. Kids donuts: one vanilla, one chocolate raised donut with sprinkles. The frosting was crispy and frail ending up all over the place. The rest: glazed old fashioned, blueberry cake, and chocolate cake. Our favorite has always been the puffy cream glazed old fashioned and these were disappointing. Too soft on the outside and smaller than they use to be. The cake donuts did save the day! Both the blueberry and chocolate were great from texture to flavor. Would recommend.

I alway drove past the store and it was always closed! I didn't understand why? Then I tried the donuts and understood! So yummy, the owners were very friendly and gave my little siblings extra donuts! The vibes were pretty chill. Overall would recommend, definitely get there before 8 or 9am if you want some!

Located in a strip mall, this unexpected sweet spot made my visit even better with their excellent service and free donut holes added to our order! Please note that the sign on their door says "CLOSED MONDAYS". The blueberry cake donut was unexpectantly wonderful: you can taste the blueberry and not too sweet. The puffy pastry with the chocolate filling was equally delicious but in a different decadent way. I cannot address any more remarks about any of the other pastries since they were consumed immediately by my family.

We came here because we saw the amazing reviews and our kids really wanted donuts. The lady was very nice but the donuts were not good. They tasted like day old donuts from a gas station.

Excellent donuts and great service. I visited twice in the same week as they had run out of the cream filled donuts on my first visit. All of the donuts were wonderful but my favorite was the chocolate filled puffy cream. Yum. I brought my neighbor a dozen donuts and they loved them too. It is great to support a small business. Enthusiastically recommended!

Absolutely some of the best donuts in the cities. This donut shop is easy to find right of of Yankee Doodle. Opens at 5 am in the morning, so you can drop by before you go to work! My favorite donut is their chocolate glazed cinnamon roll. You will not be disappointed I promise! But really, I haven't had a donut here that I haven't liked. They are so fluffy and taste delicious. When you get a donut, they always throw in some donut holes too! So when you finish your donut, you will have a few donut holes for later! The coffee here is also pretty good! The prices for donuts here are super reasonable too. For two donuts and a coffee, it will cost me less than $5. That is nice compared to some of the fancy donut shops around the cities. Overall, amazing place with great donuts that is not expensive at all. Come check it out!

The absolute nicest employees and delicious donuts!! Couldn't recommend this place enough. I've never seen donuts in different shapes in this size! It was so much fun to get this for my boyfriends birthday and the chocolate frosting is so good! I'll be back for more!

Delicious, fresh, cream filled donuts! There weren't labels on the trays, so I just asked and they were quickly able to tell me what flavors are what! The cream filled donuts are delicious. I had one that was a traditional Boston cream, and another that was stuffed with a chocolate whipped cream type filling, which was light and tasty! They even included a couple donut holes on the house. Love this cute little local donut house.

Such a wonderful donut shop. The owner was very polite & helpful. The donuts I had were delicious. The Bavarian cream is some of the best that I've ever had. I liked that the cream was cold. The donut was firm on the outside, but soft & fluffy inside. A very well executed donut. The glazed chocolate cake donut was delightful. Strong, delicious chocolate flavor. Some cake donuts end up dry, but not this one.

Stopped by this morning around 6:45 and still a great selection. Got a wide variety of donuts. Tried the cake donut and old fashion already and they are delicious! Thanks for the donut holes they were great. Very reasonably priced as well. Will be back for sure.

To properly understand my review, you'll need some ancient history. I can still remember the first sugar-coated, raspberry-filled donut that I ever had. My mother had purchased it for me and brought it home. That light and airy, delicately sugar covered, jelly-filled pocket of paradise will forever remain seared in my memory as donut perfection. I couldn't believe that humans could create something so delicious. That's when my donut addiction began. I was transported to my childhood when I tasted the raspberry filled bismark offered by Puffy Cream Donut Plus. It had the same taste, the same airy feel, the same sugary coated, raspberry filled aroma and taste. Amazing! To top it off, they threw 2 fresh, glazed donut holes into the bag for free. It was beyond donut perfection. It's a good thing I don't live closer. I'd be a frequent visitor. You can find glazed donuts, sour cream donuts, bismarks, long johns and the usual suspects here. I highly recommend them.

This donut shop came highly recommended from one of my neighborhood Facebook groups. They had a good selection of classic donuts. I ordered the apple fritter which is my favorite. I found the center to be a little undercooked/gooey so if that is your preference you'll love it. It had a good mixture of cinnamon and apple as well. The outside was perfectly crispy and just the right amount of glaze. I was surprised to receive a few donut holes with my order which was so sweet. If you're in the neighborhood be sure to stop in!

We came all the way from Lakeville to get donuts. My boys love donuts in there aren't currently many places to get donuts near us. The donuts were pretty good, very comparable to Dunkin' Donuts. My boys enjoyed them! It's a very simple place. Staff is friendly!

I love supporting a local shop like Puffy Cream when things are hard for small businesses like they are during this pandemic. Puffy made the necessary changes to help keep customers and workers safe while still serving the great donuts and treats that Eaganites have come to expect from them. The Saturday morning I went, I showed up early to beat the crowd, and that was a great plan. Puffy Cream has implemented a policy of only 2 customers inside at a time and a see through pane of plexi next to the cash wrap to protect both parties. I ended up ordering a little bit of everything. I especially enjoyed the chocolate cream filled and the cruller. Warning- they sell out often so make sure you get in early so you can eat these donuts and put a smile on your face.

Some of the lightest and fluffiest donuts in the Twin Cities. These donut are super fresh and feel like a cloud. The vanilla icing is far better than the chocolate icing because I don't get much of a rich cocoa taste from it. Their Fritter was a bit on the burnt side but the apple chunks and cinnamon flavor was there. The store is very small and they have a large assortment of donuts to choose from including raised, cake, old fashioned, Bismarck and specialty donuts. Affordable prices and they only make batches until they run out so get there early. My favorites are the blueberry cake donut (tons of blueberries), vanilla iced and vanilla old fashioned

These donuts are so good. I only had 2 plus their donut holes, so I can't say everything is great, but with the 2 that I did eat, I think I can say that these donuts are amazing. Try the chocolate creme donut - that one is my favorite. It can get messy, but it's so worth it. This is definitely the best chocolate creme donut that I've had in Minnesota - better than Dunkin Donuts! Trust me. Even their glaze donut hole was so good. I can't explain why I loved it to much, but it was just airy and crispy at the same time and I have thought about going back just to get donut holes, so definitely a plus. I got 14 donuts for about $15, so the price is reasonable.

Oh my god!! Why is this donut shop not ranked among the best in the twin cities? Made a run just this morning to grab some Saturday morning donuts for the family, and was shocked at the gem I had found. They didnt have a ton of variety, but what they did have was fantastic. First off, the apple fritter I got might be the best one I have ever had. It was HUGE, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, lots of cinnamon and apple flavor, not overpoweringly sweet, but nicely balanced. No apple pie filling goo to fall on your shirt. And unlike a lot of fritters, it had a savory aspect to it because you could taste the buttery fried goodness of the fritter rather than having that element drowned out by buckets of oversweet glaze. Outstanding donuts executed perfectly. If you want donuts with oreos and fruity pebbles and snicker bars and candy corn sticking out of them all over, this isnt the spot for you. But if you want an awesome box of perfect donuts done right, definitely check this place out. The staff was friendly and prompt, and they also threw some donut holes in the box with my order, which were also delicious. It's a big win all around. Go try this place.

Absolutely the best donuts in the Twin Cities! Forget bland and overpriced grocery store and Dunkin donuts or fussy fancy donuts with everything but the kitchen sink on them (just to cover lackluster donuts). Puffy Cream has delicious donuts and their donut holes are seriously habit forming. I typically get the long john with chocolate frosting and sprinkles and my absolute fav is the maple with peanuts (sometimes they throw in a few donut holes too). The inside is pillow soft and the outside has a slight crust - never soggy or sad. I recently tried their cake donuts and it blew my mind. Now I have a hard time not ordering multiple donuts just for myself because they're all so good. I drive from Minneapolis, passing other donut shops on the way, just to get their donuts. They also sell egg rolls and cream cheese wontons on certain holidays (for sure the 4th of July) which are delicious. Basically everything that comes out of their kitchen is magic.

This place is my EVERYTHING. I live in SW Mpls but I head down to Puffy Cream as often as possible, including weekends where the baby wakes me up early and we sneak out before my husband gets up. It's a thing. Anyway, there aren't enough words to sing all the praises this place deserves. Every donut I've tried there is incredible. I'm a big cake donut fan, and their sprinkle cake donut is divine. That said, my absolute favorite is the blueberry cake donut. So good. SO GOOD. Every now and then they're sold out by the time I get there and it is straight up soul crushing. Even their croissants are great. I don't think anywhere in the Twin Cities beats Puffy Cream for its balance of quality and cost. And the service is always wonderful - I love love love all the ladies (and occasional gentleman) who work there. Last time I went (early on a Friday) I had my little one in a baby carrier, and the woman helped me take my donuts out to my car. Icing on the cake...donut.

These guys did a custom donut order for our twins on their birthday: two giant, long john numbers ones (turning eleven). Our kids were thrilled but the real treat was the quality of the novelty goods. Those were some tasty, puffy donuts! We live a few towns over but we will be regular customers moving forward. We were so happy with the care put into our little custom order and I definitely noticed that the regular fare was almost gone! To me, that's a reliable sign of a good, well-loved donut shop.

Best donuts in the twin cities area. Since there is no Krispy Kreme anymore in MN, this is the best donut store I've tried. The chocolate cream filled donut is my personal favorite. Their donuts are not as sweet as hell in some grocery stores, which is a good choice for people who can't tolerate high-sugar food. I like sweet, but not over-sweet. Strawberry-filled donut is great, too. But I stick on chocolate flavor.

I made the huge mistake of sampling a box of these amazing donuts at work. Now I'm afraid I'm going to have to commute to Eagan on a Saturday, too, right after my workout. (And I will workout eagerly if it means I can indulge.) Because these are The. Best. Donuts. Ever. I am endlessly impressed and delighted that a place with such tasty baked goods is right in my backyard. The last time I dined on any sweet treats so yummy was at Lisboa Patisserie on Portobello Road. So this is very much worth the drive.

Absolutely the BEST donuts I've had since living in Mn!! I from Los Angeles Ca., where there's donuts shop EVERYWHERE!! I've lived in Mn. for 12 years...and couldn't find a donut to compare. That's from gas stations, grocery stores (low and high end) to donut chains. I don't know what took me so long to get here, but I have to say better late than never. I got a dozen of the donuts that my family loves. They add those donuts holes to boot, which was the cherry on the top. When I tell you ALL of them donuts were delicious!!! BABY...those donuts took me right back home!!! I have to say...they were just as good (if not better), than Randy's Donuts!!! Bomb.com

Very likely the best donuts in the entire Twin Cities metro area; without doubt the best in the south metro. Donuts are always freshly baked. Customer service is consistently excellent. Supporting local businesses is always important and Puffy Cream allows you to do this while enjoying some of the best breakfast treats Minnesota has to offer.

Donuts were delicious! Not much more to say. Worth the trip and money. The taste of these donuts are better than the ones you find in the grocery store bakery section - especially the donut holes! You'll regret leaving without getting those.

Puffy cream doughnuts is conveniently located in a small strip mall in Eagan! We came in about 9:45 am snd they had a huge selection of doughnut varieties to choose from. The customer service was great, we were greeted and our questions about their products were answered knowledgeably. We ordered : Glazed raised doughnut traditional Glazed cinna twist Maple long john Vanilla crueller Raised sprinkled doughnut The doughnuts were very soft in a good way, they were pretty puffy. Price was fair and the size of the doughnuts were decent.
