This is my favorite hotel in Mexico City. It is stunningly beautiful and the staff is exceptional. Everyone is very nice and helpful. We had a lovely room and wonderful breakfast each morning. I highly recommend it. The bedrooms were spacious, the shared spaces were super stylish, and the outdoor spaces were a great respite for the day.

Exceptional breakfast, the staff was incredibly accommodating. The room was nice size with refrigerator and small cook top. The tub was a soaker tub. The shower had high end shower heads for an invigorating experience. It was peaceful. We were on the 3 rd floor and slept with windows open with breeze coming in. They did have a working air conditioning, but the fresh air was cool and breezy. I will be returning.

It is a perfect pace to stay. All is good; the pillows, the perfect bed and sheets, the towels are wow and although I had my shampoo, I tried theirs and I loved the shampoo, conditioner and the cream lotion. ! The service is extraordinary and the breakfast. The pastries are awesome ! No better location ! I really recommend it.

The deluxe room was offered on Booking.com for 30 m2. The room we got was barely 18 m2; or cramped. For example, the safe was hidden in a drawer under the bed. Not really easy to store valuables. In addition, the descriptiuon on booking said balcony with garden view. The room was on the ground floor with a courtyard with a concrete fence. The most annoying thing was that the room is very noisy. Sounds from the corridor and other rooms are clearly audible: not good for sleep.||The general areas are nice and the staff is friendly; however, that did not live up to expectations given the other points.

Well located, comfortable. Excellent breakfasts. We loved the hotel and the decor. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. If you want a small boutique hotel this is the one! |Polanco is very central to get around

An amazing hotel with lovely staff and well decorated rooms! Highly recommend this hotel for those wanting to be in a cute neighborhood close to restaurants and shopping. Many things are within walking distance and the breakfast is great as well!!

Pug seal Allan Poe is a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our 5 night stay in a very quiet, well appointed room. Tea, coffee, juices, water and snacks are all|provided in the lobby. The hotel is in a great location handy to the subway and many cafes, bars and restaurants.

Wonderful stay in this upscale boutique B&B. Food and service were fantastic. Room was wonderful as well. Highly recommend.

After a heartbreak with a travel companion, I needed to find a hotel room in the Polanco area on very short notice. The staff at the Pug Seal on Tennyson was fantastic to get me relocated to the Pug Seal on Edgar Allan Poe just a few blocks away. I was greeted by Paula, who was incredibly thoughtful and warm, and immediately offered free beer and tequila to take the edge off a bad situation. She was wonderful and fun and charming. She speaks English exceptionally well. The hotel is wonderfully appointed. Rooms include a complimentary mini-bar, USB wall ports, TV, slippers, robe, and en-suite private bathroom with rain shower head. Tequila, fruit, and coffee are available in common areas all-day/night. Complimentary beer is also available. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful outdoor common area and courtyard that is lit with subtle lights to create a phenomenal ambiance. Classic bellhop service makes everything a breeze, and a private car and driver is available upon request. The location is only a block off bustling Marsyk and it's high-end retail stores and fine dining with outdoor cafes.

The service was very welcoming and staff follows up to make sure your experience is a comfortable and private. The hotel offers 24/7 security and the location is prime. Breakfast was homemade and deliciously served by a personalized cook who was welcoming and professional. The decor and architecture were the best part of the experience. The hotel itself is a residence that was turned into a boutique hotel. The lobby is small, but provides a nice sitting area for guests to sit and relax. The lobby also displays a great selection of books and tequila for patrons.

I don't think I have ever written a review on anything but this hotel was so great I felt I needed to. This small boutique hotel located in a beautiful historic building is so beautiful and full of character. The staff was amazing. Very accommodating and happy. They have menu full of great food and drink that are included in your room fee. The dining area and lobby are very comfortable and inviting. I couldn't wait to get up in the morning and head down there for coffee and breakfast. Our room was very clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. If you are coming to Mexico City I would highly suggest you stay at the pug seal.
