The Ultimate Guide to Puget Sound’s Best Cideries | Eater Seattle

"Founded in 2017 by Nick Hill and Holly Coleman as a passion project after coming across an antique cider press at Renton’s Antique 4U, this small-batch, award-winning operation sources fruit from its Ellensburg orchard and pours from a taproom tucked into the back of an antique store furnished with stained glass windows and card catalog cabinets. Dedicated to reviving centuries-old cider-making techniques, they use heirloom apples like Kingston Blacks and Harrisons and adjunct fruits such as blackberries, strawberries, rhubarb, and pears; the lightly carbonated ciders skew drier and more refined in the tradition of French and English styles and have earned more than 80 awards. If you don't make the trip, their booth at Pike Place Market operates Thursday through Sunday." - Meg van Huygen

This cider is wonderful! In just brief conversations with Nick and Holly, you can tell that so much effort and care is put into their products. Their knowledge of the cider making process abundant. The cider itself is simple, yet complex. The single variety selections, offer you a good foundation of the basic cider apples. The blended varieties or expertly crafted to highlight the strengths of the featured/dominant flavors. And the subtlety of the fruit infused varieties is masterful. Apple is the fruit on display, while the other fruits bring out the complexity of the traditional cider apples. Highly Recommended!

The tasting room is located inside an antique shop which makes for a really neat vibe. The lady that runs the place was both very friendly and knowledgeable about the ciders, which were top notch. My only wish is that they had ciders on draft there so that you can get cider by the glass. I don't drink at home very often, so that would be a lot more ideal for me. The ciders are also a bit on the pricey side, but like most things these days, prices are going up due to inflation. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and I'll definitely be back.

I stopped in while passing through town today. Sadly tastings are not available at the moment due to COVID, but Holly had plenty of information to share about the story of theirsiders and about the Apple varieties used. Can't wait to try the bottle I got! Great to meet you Holly!

I have been meaning to try this cider and I am so glad I finally did! I ended up purchasing the Raspberry Cider and man oh man what a treat to myself. The raspberry is ripe and has such a wonderful essence. The apples are WA grown with so much care and thought put into selection. I can't wait to get my next bottle! Such a treat!
