We had a lovely stay in the Pullmann Berlin Schweizerhof. We were originally staying for 4 nights, but when our flight home was cancelled, we booked an extra night and there was no issue staying in our room. The staff were super helpful, and provided us with some much needed toiletries on arrival, as our baggage had been delayed, too! An extra duvet was brought to our room when requested, as well 😊 The location is perfect - close to public transport and particularly good if you are checking out West Berlin. Rooms are a great size and the beds are comfortable. It's losing one star for the breakfast, which had a great selection, but was not as fresh or hot as we would have liked.

On arrival we were greeted by the perfumed air in the beautifful lobby, and by the exceptional Front Office Shift Leader Ms Meivita (Vita) Lumarso, whom I happened to have spoken with before our visit. She recalled our teleconversation and as she efficiently checked us in (a little early but she found a room that was ready) we spoke a little about her home country Indonesia where I had also lived for some time. Her professionalism, courtesy and cheerfulness really got our 4-day Berlin holiday off to a fantastic start. Our 5th floor room, overlooking the Berlin's Teirgarten, was superbly appointed with all the conveniences you'd expect - tea/coffee, usb plug sockets, large flat tv, well-designed work desk, well-designed bathroom with excellent walk-in shower, and a very comfortable extra-large bed to name but a few aspects. The spa and fitness facilites were spotless and excellent. The indoor pool was a great temperature and its size allowed for a decent enough swim. More familiar with bars and weight machines for training, I did an online search to properly use the smart-looking technogym kinesis equipment in the gym and managed to get a very good workout. The sauna and steamroom were absolutely spotless and in perfect working order. Towels were available and plentiful. A shower in the changing area also allowed the user to clean up before heading back to their room. I also noticed there was fruit and lemon water available at the fitness reception area. These facilities mean a lot to me so I really appreciated their quality. Breakfast was excellent with all the usual food-stuff you'd expect in a quality European hotel. We twice took dinner at the hotel's 'Blend' restaurant and enjoyed tremendous chicken and fillet mignon dishes. Pasquali took great care of us and was wonderfully kind when he realised it was my wife's birthday, bringing us an after dinner german liquor. The four days we spent at the Berlin Pullman were effortless, fun and very very comfortable.

Went to the hotel in August and it did not disappoint. |Beautiful entrance and amazing rooms. Everything high spec. |I had messaged a lovely supervisor in the hotel before arriving to ask some questions and were so so helpful. |Breakfast was amazing. Lovely fresh daily juice specials and egg / omelette. |Spa was a highlight too. Free of charge and has easy access from the room via a special lift. |Huge pool, nice sun terrace and sauna / steam room. |Went to bar at night a few times. Staff there generally ok. |Because of the spa this is my go to hotel for Berlin.

Our stay at the Pullman Hotel was very enjoyable and convenient. We enjoyed the walking distance to our business meeting location, nice cafes and restaurants, Christmas Markets, and a very short taxi ride (less than 5 mins) from the train station. The hotel staff were very nice and attentive, the breakfast and the food quality along with the service was excellent. The hotel rooms are clean with good service. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was very clean. We certainly enjoyed our stay in Berlin and Pullman hotel.

I had stayed at Pullman Berlin. It was nice and certainly one of the notable hotels in Berlin. Positives: 1) Perfect Location 2) Chic and contemporary interiors 3) Spacious Rooms 4) Buffet with lots of varieties, 5) Christmas Decorations were outstanding. 6) Extremely polite and welcoming staffs. Negatives: 1) Poor WiFi strength in the room that I stayed. 2) The TV should be equipped with Internet connection to watch YouTube or connected with an Amazon FireTV. Since many non Germans also visit.

Google
Lovely hotel, great room, great breakfast, great spa, but if you want to be within walking distance of central activities, don't stay here We stayed here for three nights on a city-break to Berlin. Unfortunately I was misled by the reviews describing it as central and made the schoolboy error of not checking the map properly. It's perfectly accessible - 20 minutes of so by bus.

I was worried about the reviews and it’s true that the hotel is away from the main sites. It was 58 mins on the S Bahn from the airport. We enjoyed the pool and spa and we requested a room up high with views of the zoo. It was peaceful to sleep and after researching local places we had great breakfasts at Die Creme and Bean House. The hotel breakfast area in the hotel was very busy so we enjoyed eating out for breakfast. There was a lovely Christmas market close by, and we navigated the underground and S bags to to get to Charlottenburg Palace and The East Side Gallery. We also tried the ice bar, went to the zoo and booked a tour of the Reichstag building. Would recommend all these things. We were disappointed that the WiFi wasn’t working when we arrived and for 24 hours, not great when you have a teen and want to check in and book tours, so had to use data for both of us. After looking at the reviews I see it’s happened before so I really think as a 5 star hotel it’s bad to not have a back up for this and let your guest incur costs. Therefore taking in account the WiFi situation and location, I would look to stay elsewhere in Berlin next time.

I had a great stay at the Pullman Berlin. The hotel is very well located, making it easy to explore the city, and the atmosphere is super pleasant. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Hello my Yelpies, First time in Berlin, my parents and I came from Poland Warsaw for a nice long weekend. The hotel had a gran entrance, it definitely gives you a big welcome. The lobby was beautiful, very easy to walk around with people who doesn't speak the language. We made an reservation for 2 rooms, the receptionist were super friendly and did their best to give us some ideas on what we can do during our times here. We were located on the 6th floor, the room is quiet tiny but definitely very comfortable. We are only planning to stay for 3 days 2 nights this is definitely good enough. I personally care the most about the bathroom when it comes to hotels, I was pretty pleasant with their cleanliness of the bathroom. Everything was neatly put away, and there was no lip sticks on the cup or anything disgusting like that. I've got to say their breakfast is one of the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. They have many different choices, eggs they have 4 different kind of style. I must say you have to definitely try their sausage, it was cool to perfection and wasn't too salty. Everything was super organized it was definitely one the best experience. Even after 3 days I was still thinking about their delicious breakfast. I'll definitely come back in the near future if I'm ever in Berlin again! Overall, 5 stars for service, 5 stars for food and drinks, 5 stars for cleanliness and 5 stars for environment and decoration. definitely suggest this hotel for anyone who's in the area.

Yelp
This hotel advertises having air conditioning. The first few days I was here it did; however, it stopped working a few days ago. I've been sweltering ever since. Berlin has been in the 80s the last few days. Being on the fourth floor isn't helping. The first time I called reception about it the lady recommended I open the windows. I tried that but it didn't help much. This morning I tried calling again. They sent a repairman up but it hasn't helped much either. They have made no effort to offer me and the person I'm here with another room or give some other type of restitution. Also, as others have said the internet is not very good. Even the upgraded internet is barely there for anything more than checking email. I will say this for the place. It's clean. For all the money this place costs, I think we could have done better elsewhere. The restaurant downstairs has extraordinarily high prices but at least there are a few other places within walking distance to go eat. Make sure to bring Euros because not all the places that say they accept credit cards take American credit cards. Some do. Some don't. It's hit and miss. I hope this review helps someone.

Yelp
Nice place & good location. Room adequate, comfortable & quiet. Nice lobby & professional staff. Lots of restaurants nearby/within 2 blocks. Cafe directly across the street for coffee/snacks. Blend Hotel Restaurant decent however dinner overpriced; service mediocre. Wellness area decent. Large pool, sauna, (5 people max), steam room & towels provided. Yes, Nude. Check out took Forever... Would Return however due to location.

Yelp
The room itself was decent, but everything surrounding it was terrible. The "parking" they offer is ridiculous. If you are lucky enough to get a spot in their tiny underground parking garage, you are likely going to scratch or dent your vehicle on the way in or our, and you WILL be forced to pay 30 Euros a day in parking fees - something they don't tell you when you book. Also, the breakfast is 24 euros and it's not terrible, but that is nearing $30 USD for a basic breakfast, absolutely ridiculous. Getting to the hotel itself was a nightmare and there isn't too much around it besides a few fast food choices, its still a 25 euro taxi (or a daring drive for an American) to the city center, Alexanderplatz. Overall, very dissatisfied with the booking.

Yelp
Great location, a short walk to a strip of clothing stores, restaurants, public transportation and a short distance to many landmarks. We were able to check-in early and there was a room already available for us. The staff was hospitable and professional, and the hotel itself was gorgeous. We used the hotel pool and sauna during our stay and the quality of hospitality and professionalism from the staff there was consistent. On the last night of our trip we had dinner in the hotel restaurant and everything was delicious. If you're brave enough to try currywurst -I was not, they serve it and with a beer! For dessert I opted for the crème brûlée, one of the best I've had. This by far tops the list of best hotels I've stayed at. At some 5 star hotels you get the feeling you're not really in one but the Pullman Schweizerhof truly is a 5 star. Would love to stay here again.

Yelp
Nightmare. My husband, two children and I came to use the pool, as our hotel pool was under construction and they had a reciprocity agreement. While I was changing into my swimsuit in the ladies locker room, the male employee came in and started mopping the floor. He continued, until I told him to leave. I came out and told the female worker and she said, "its okay." I know this is Europe but Im pretty sure its not okay to have a male employee cleaning the ladies locker room while its being used. Besides that incident, there were wet towels everywhere, the floor was wet and the water was cold.

Yelp
We came to the Pullman Schweizerhof with high expectations; sadly, those weren't met. First impressions were good in that there is a designer, trendy first floor and pleasant workers. And let me preface the following by saying many of the staff throughout our stay were very nice. However, that turned out to be lipstick on a pig once we got to know the hotel better. The spa was under construction, so there was no spa. The gym requires a Dragnet-like journey into the underbelly of the building to get to. This was made even more insufferable by having to wait for the second elevator surrounded by toxic fumes from nearby construction. On our last day, the first elevator broker, forcing us to walk from the ninth floor to the basement. Our first morning we were awoken to constant hammering. When we complained, their remedy was to give us access to their less-than-Denny's quality breakfast, which just left us regretting putting anything our mouths there. The restaurant and bar were overpriced and full of novice workers. The room was cramped and the shower has no door so water goes flying out onto the floor. Also, each day there is a man who knocks on the door to ask if you used the minibar, then proceeds to go down the hallway opening and slamming every other door. The location itself is not great in that it's surrounded by awful tourist trap restaurants and shops (I strongly suggest East Berlin for food!) Cherry on top was that they tried to charge us an extra 36€ for some bogus "rate change" as we were leaving for our flight out of Berlin, but we were able to fend that off. All-in-all, I wish we had stayed somewhere else and won't be back.

Yelp
There is nothing wrong with this hotel.. the problem is there is nothing great about The Pullman either, and for about 225 Euros per night, you could do better. The hotel in general is very utilitarian - it has everything a hotel and room from that price should have, without any flare - if it was a car it would definitely be old school Vovlo. Lobby - clean and stark; not low end by any means Lobby Bar - adequate; not fun, always there when you need it, nothing good; noting bad. Common areas - you get it - nice, not low end; very clean; everything you need Room.. blah blah.. clean; well kept Staff - very pleasant and attentive I really appreciate the Nesspresso coffee machine AND tea kettle in the rooms - used both each day; a great espresso café in the morning and a herb tea in the evening; very nice. The Internet service stinks; it is so slow it is useless; a frustrating experience to have to pay for internet and have it so slow that you abandon it. NO ENGLISH TV Channels... not that you are there to watch TV, but really, not one English speaking news channel at least? The location is very good - be sure to walk to Tauentzienstraße just 2 blocks away, for shopping and dining and you MUST go to KeDeWe and go to the 6th floor gourmet center for a snack.

Yelp
We got a very good deal for our room so it was worth every penny. We were in a group of three, checked in quite late and got ourselves a junior suite that comes with free minibar. I mean, from that moment on, we couldn't really complain - even when the internet didn't work in our room - knowing that the minibar was always stocked the next day :) The concierge was super helpful and this place was close to the Zoogarten station (you still have to walk approx 5-8 minutes) so it was a plus.

Yelp
I think this hotel really suits the business crowd. This clearly showed as 90% of the visitors were in suits and gave of that vibe. Regardless, my mother and I enjoyed our stay here and it's prime location. The only query I have is regarding the absurd 30 euro early check in fee....when a room was thus already available. The reception service is distant and rude ( even according to German standards). Regardless, those few flaws are easily overlooked by other more important factors (breakfast, location, solid but small room).

Yelp
This beautifully designed hotel is right by the Zoologischer Garten.. which is the Berlin Zoo. Expect lots of greenery and advised to go in summer to see it in its full glory. You have plenty of shops, cafes, familiar KFC and Wok to Walk within walking distance.. I did succumb to a few hot wings from KFC forgetting I was in Berlin and in fact as if I lived there.. I was only there for a 4 days, one hell of a weekend! I sidetracked and got lost in my thoughts of that weekend... oops! The hotel staff at reception are so welcoming and for someone like me, who does ask questions and does like to go off into another topic.. they were very accommodating, and speedy in changing our pillows as I am quite fussy when it comes to my sleep. The room was immaculately clean and sheets fresh as ever, the mattress was amazing and for the weekend ahead, it was our savior.. so to speak! The weekend was a surprise birthday, so there was a few of us staying in the hotel and with the 3..2..1...SURPRISE !! The weekend was ready to go. They had everything organized so that our surprise was kept hush until the right moment which was followed by bubbles and a bites to eat, also to line our stomach's for the night to come! The next morning.. and every morning was a hangover. And as Berlin is so colourful at night, it is also as equally colorful in the day too, so we we did two guided tours, as well as night time partying hard. The beds just hugged us to sleep and getting out of bed was quite hard, but the strong shower helped wake me up. As did the fresh grapefruit and orange juice in the morning. Just across the road is a nice cafe serving up some strong coffees, if you do need a change of scene, even a wonder down the road would prove to be an adventure. Check out the 'Berlin Food Tour' in Mitte - You will see the hidden locations as well as get to sample the local beverages and food. I bumped into an old friend I hadn't seen for almost 5 years., he was dancing on a podium in a club and probably thought I was a mad raver shouting in the middle of the dance-floor! It was a dramatic weekend with way more ups than downs. In the end, we were left with a very restful British Airways flight back to London. And we complained loads about our beds in London that night! Each Pullman is different. This Pullman is comfortable, stylish yet easy going so go ahead and book it. Even just for the weekend; you never know what you might see, eat and who you might meet.

Yelp
Such a beautiful hotel! We stayed here for about 99 EUR a night, which is definitely not much at all. And it was the best hotel choice in the city. The lobby is very modern and clean. The staff is very attentive and friendly and had no problem with us not speaking any German. When we went to the room, I could not believe how nice it was for only 99 EUR a night! Everything was so new and clean. The only thing that's weird is there were only twin beds that we had to request to be pushed together. But they put them together in such a way that there was no awkward uncomfortable middle gap. The room has free bottled water and a coffee machine. It's a 5 minute walk from Tiergarten Park and 15 minute walk from all the main areas of Berlin. I definitely recommend staying here!

Yelp
A wonderful hotel. The SPA is great: very clean and just beautifull. The employees are very friendly and competent. The bar makes excellent cocktails and the food is worth the money. I can only recommend the Pullman!

Yelp
Traveling for work and had a bit of credit card and booking confusion - the women at the front desk couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. The pool is very cool and so is the bath house: sauna, steam room, adventure showers, etc. Great location, cool rooms, great bar staff. Would love to stay here again.

Yelp
From the moment I walked into this hotel, it was immediately clear that a lot of thought had gone into the planning for the comfort of the guests. Very friendly reception personnel put you at ease with their easy smiles and information about the hotel and the surrounding area at the ready! The local was great with easy access to transportation to all areas of Berlin. Modern and comfortable rooms at a great price, plus a great breakfast buffet! I'm looking forward to staying at Pullman the next time I travel!

Yelp
Excellent staff, room, and buffet breakfast. Yes, most definitely opt for the buffet breakfast! We did and didn't have to eat again until dinner time. The room was large, as was the bed, though the two twin-sized comforters instead of one large comforter was a little odd--do they expect couples to not like sharing a blanket? Our room had a kettle and a good selection of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate. Located a block or two away from Ka De We, the Berlin Zoo, and the U-Bahn. Not the most exciting neighborhood, but you could definitely take the train to one that is.

Yelp
traveling in threes can be difficult sometimes. but apparently here the staff decided to upgrade us instead of cramming us into a room meant for two. we ended up in a suite with a lovely bath with jets, 2 bedrooms, and full access to the mini-bar. yeah.. we even asked reception to make sure it was REALLY free. the concierge, ringo, was very helpful (and patient) with us that weekend, recommending fun things to do and absolutely perfect restaurants. the only downside was that the free wireless internet was not working and reception could unfortunately not do anything about it. but after trekking around berlin all day, it was very nice to come back to a suite with plenty of space and a freshly restocked mini-bar with bubbly and beers and chocolate and chips and cokes... and the price was very reasonable, thanks to the fact that we booked a few months in advance with our flights.

Yelp
My stay here has been very nice except for my experience at breakfast. The breakfast ends at 11 am. I got down there at 10:45 am and tried to order an omelette at 10:54 am. The gentleman at the omelette station told me, "It's finished." I asked him what time it ends and he would not tell me and refused to make the omelette. I pre-paid this breakfast as I liked that it went until 11 am. I went to the front desk to ask if they were still making omelettes and the nice woman at the front confirmed they were and she went back and told the tall gentleman who refused to make my food previously. To spite me, he made the wrong thing for me and just left it at the counter. There was no one else there so I knew he did this on purpose. It's a shame because everything at the hotel until that point has been lovely. The spa was great and the rooms and bathrooms are a good size for Europe. My star rating is simply because of my inconvenience and uncomfortable conversation with the gentleman who was supposed to be making omelettes until 11, not 10:54.

Yelp
When in Berlin we love to stay here. The location is great, food in restaurant delicious, and the service is lovely:-)
