This is one of the top hotels in Dakar. The rooms are first class, as if you were in the US. Comfy bed and fluffy pillows. The breakfast was amazing. Many options to eat and the products are of high quality. The staff are very nice and friendly. If you have to be on the east side for work this is a great location; however, if you like to run, you’re too far from the pretty part of the corniche. This is why I gave them 4 stars in terms of location.

I had high expectations for the Sunday brunch, but unfortunately, it didn’t take long for them to come crashing down. The food was, at best, mediocre. My son actually spat out the lamb. The dessert selection was underwhelming, with most of it tasting overly commercial. To make matters worse, no one bothered to inform us that the brunch included a barbecue on the terrace, so by the time we found out, we had already overindulged in breads and croissants just to justify the cost. The only redeeming aspect of the experience was the outstanding performance by the lounge singer, which was truly a highlight. I want to share this feedback in the hope that it encourages improvement. As foreign patrons with Senegalese ties who want to support your business, we were genuinely excited for the Sunday brunch, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The food quality was disappointing, and the lack of communication about the barbecue on the terrace was a missed opportunity. While we understand that every service can have its challenges, this brunch simply did not reflect the high standards that your establishment is known for. We hope you take this as constructive feedback and work towards enhancing the overall experience for future guests. With some adjustments, we believe it could truly live up to the quality we know your hotel is capable of.

Excellent central location adjacent to Independence Square and easy access to tourist attractions. Very clean, well appointed hotel with an ocean view and the most comfortable beds I’ve encountered away from home. The staff was exceptionally attentive and responsive, especially Alex who helped us with everything from power converters to restaurant reservations. Both pools were great! However, accessing the lower pool and beach required climbing many stairs. The food was very good and the restaurant staff were attentive and efficient. I highly recommend the Pullman Dakar Teranga.

I recently stayed at the Pullman Hotel Dakar and had an exceptional experience, largely thanks to Jessica Fonseca. Her attention to detail and warm, welcoming nature made my stay unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, Jessica ensured that every aspect of my visit was tailored to my preferences. Her professionalism and kindness truly elevated my stay, making it not just comfortable but genuinely delightful. I am incredibly grateful to Jessica for her outstanding service, and I look forward to returning to the Pullman Hotel Dakar in the future.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this establishment. The hotel had a very elegant, nice and local vibe, you could really feel inmersed in a cultural experience. At the same time, the price of the food was very affordable and awesome quality, the staff was friendly, approachable and extremelly polite and caring. It was still a laid back atmosphere, where you could feel at home, among the authenticity of Dakar. I would certainly recomend it! Bocoum from reception was so polite, helpful, nice and professional, and Alphonse was so caring and helpful as well.

The hotel was great! After coming off a ship the hotel room felt huge! The pool area is fabulous. You can swim laps in the pool. The view from the pool area is the ocean. It is near a square that was decorated nicely for the holidays. There are a lot of street vendors in the area but this is Africa

I only visited to eat at the restaurant, so my comments are solely on this. The food has great potential but certainly does miss the mark on quality. I ordered the lamb chops and requested they be cooked medium rare, but when they arrived to my table these things were so tough I couldn’t even pretend to eat them. I had to send the order back and request the chicken dish as well, which was a much better delight. The cocktails were tasty and refreshing especially in this heat, but the bar service is sloooow; even when there’s not many people there. The wait staff were all super nice and I appreciated them working to make my lunch experience better. I would honestly return with the expectation of what to order and having enough time to spend there.

Generally we had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and the hotel itself was clean and sleek, the rooms were well stocked and modern, and the food was good. The biggest downside was that the food (like Sunday brunch) was expensive.
