PULS - Restaurant & Bar

Visited kiln for 5 days and wanted to treat ourselves to a fine dining experience. After doing some research chose to book PULS. Had the large Chef’s Choice menu which was very tasty and very well presented. Enough food so we were satisfyingly full. They catered to our food preferences and dietary restrictions very easily and with no fuss. Tried a few mocktails and they were very nice. Staff were very friendly and attentive and explained each dish in detail. We met the head chef who was very nice. Big thank you to the chef who stayed on so we could try the seasonal dessert special as we asked for it once the kitchen had closed. Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend. A big thank you to all the staff. For fine dining I would say this is great value.

Loooooved the dining experience here. The staff was so so friendly and helpful. Amazing cocktail to start, which is made right in front of you (we sat at the bar). The food is a whole other story: so good! They have a surprise chef’s menu, but we ordered a few options to share from the menu. Great taste and unexpected combinations. Absolutelty recommend going here.

It was my first time visiting Köln, and I celebrated my birthday at this wonderful restaurant — both experiences were truly special. The Chef’s Choice menu was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails and wine were perfectly paired. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant has an intimate atmosphere — busy but never noisy — which made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Köln!

Great culinary experience but with a modern touch. We had our dinner at the bar which I’m usually not a fan of, but this was great. Nice people and they were playing house type songs which made the overall ambiance just a bit more clubby as well!

I am starting to wish I had never given out 5 stars before, as the food and service here has beaten my previous 5 star choices hands down! From the initial welcome, to enthusiastic help with the food selection, the staff were amazing. The cocktails are delicious - and the atmosphere warm and friendly. The food was just epic. The octopus starter was the best such dish I have ever tried. Further courses did not disappoint! Very much luxury dining. I will be back!

The restaurant owners invited us for dinner due to mutual friends and we had a great time here. Their hospitality and warmth was impressive. The staff was very friendly and explained each item that they served us. Each meal felt like a bite-sized piece of love wrapped with love and respect for the customers. Definitely recommend this restaurant for those looking for a memorable restaurant experience while touring Köln.

It is a small restaurant, but the service, food, and drinks were amazing. I started the winter special cocktail, which had a unique but nice flavor. Next up was the beef tartar with caviar (+€10) which was really well done. The presentation was nice and was very good quality. Then I had the US beef, which was also very good. It was cooked to temperature and seasoned very well. The sauce was a little overpowering, but the dish was still very good. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a quality meal if you are in Cologne.

Delicious, beautiful food and warm service. From the first bite of crisped cornbread smeared generously with ricotta, to the final taste of truffled brie paired with a bright onion relish, every course had us wanting more. Thank you to the hard working staff for making a special day out for us extra memorable :)
