05/30/25 - lowering my rating as this is the third time in a row that they’ve burnt my pizza. For the price, I’m not OK with having so much of the crust blackened. Plus, it leaves an acrid taste in the mouth and is an unpleasant experience. I used to love Punch but I don’t want to come back if this becomes routine. Please take more care when cooking the pizzas. —————————————————————- Came here over the weekend with my family. Ordered several Toscano pizzas as they are our favorite. I get a modified Toscano as I sub the sausage for pepperoni but I absolutely love this combination; the roasted red bell peppers give a little hint of sweetness and are a nice contrast to the pepper flakes. Plus, basil which is always good on pizza. Pizzas came out good but was a little disappointed with the service. Several tables were dirty and we wanted to sit at a booth. Asked if someone could wipe one down for us and while they did send an employee out, I felt her attitude was not very obliging. She came off rude and was not very friendly once she brought our food to us which was off putting. Aside from that, we still had a good time.

Pizza is really good! They’re still quick even when they’re busy. Had the Vesuvio and it was pretty good. Had others I prefer more but all pizzas at Punch are super yummy.

Google
The staff are very friendly, the pizza was incredibly well cooked and the ingredients were well mixed together, no dominant flavors, the customization of the pizzas is very broad and should have everything a person is looking to add on a pizza. The dishes were all clean, and the atmosphere of the whole place made the food look that much better. My recommendation is anything as it's all very good food. No large flaws to note.

We love Punch Pizza. I always get mine well done if you want a firmer crust. Staff are always polite. I love the half ceasar salad as a side..

Google
Punch pizza is one of my favorite restaurants and this new location in Apple Valley is perhaps the best location of them all. We had a pick up order for 7 o’clock and it was ready at exactly 7 o’clock and baked to perfection. Everybody that worked there was super friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. Any person who feels otherwise is either wrong or absolutely insane. God bless Punch Pizza. I will be returning often. Also, they gave us extra bread!!

The Apple Valley Punch Pizza is open for the first time this morning, with a strong staff and locals coming to enjoy the event. You can add toppings of your choice from the chalkboard at the ordering station. I was surprised that green peppers were not among the options but happily selected arugula and onions to top off my Margarita pizza. They offer several more exquisite toppings. There is a well-supplied drink station with eight options, one diet. Bottles of olive oil are available to take to your table. Check out the cutlery - heavy-duty knives and forks. You'll never break a plastic fork trying to cut your pizza. Opening staff are efficient and experienced from staffing former Punch Pizza locations when they opened. No problem with baby strollers and wheelchairs as both the patio door and front door are at ground level. There is a lovely room just behind check-in where you can wait for to-go order pickup. There is also an order kiosk if the line is long with a digital sign that displays potential wait times. The lighting and décor are open and fun, offering the spirit of Italy. For a new building, Punch has done a remarkable job of adding the welcoming appeal of aged wood and patterned flooring. As always, their pizza is made in a stone-fired oven - the crust is amazing. They import Water Buffalo mozzarella, which can be added to any pizza for its robust taste or for individuals who wish for a less lactose option, meaning no cow's milk. Their Borgata Pizza was made famous by Meryl Streep when she ordered it as her vegetarian choice. Ample parking. Lovely semi-shaded patio area for outdoor dining. Highly, highly recommended!

Google
Thought the experience was meh. Thought the food was meh. It was around $22 for a small pizza and two sodas. The pizzas are light, not very filling. They're made in a traditional way, so not anything like your typical American pizza. Me personally, I don't like the taste of burnt crust that this kind of pizza has. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

Google
I love punch and am so happy to have one in Apple Valley. It can get pretty busy, hard to plan to eat there, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Don't skip the salads here that are really nice and light.

Yelp
Great pizza and fast service make it a good choice when you don't want fast food and a sit down restaurant takes too long. My husband had a sausage and pepperoni pizza and I ordered the Cortina and added sausage. Everything came out hot and tasty. One thing I have noticed is that the cheese seems to be getting a little lighter. Maybe it was just the person making the pizza or maybe they are conserving but it is better with more cheese.

Yelp
This is genuinely my favorite pizza place in the world. Delicious pizza every single time and such great service. All locations are always busy, everybody knows Punch is where it's at. Of course, the Margherita is a staple and literally everybody loves it (because it's a classic and to die for), but I also highly recommend the Toto and Dino Z pizzas for something new. The Punch salad is also a hit, I would order a whole box of the focaccia pizza if I could. The ingredients are always so fresh and delicious. I love Punch because of the fantastic pizza (and always will), but I also love it because the chain has its roots here in Minnesota and brings real Italian pizza to our little corner of the Midwest. I've tried so many locations and they are all fantastic!

Yelp
So nice to have a punch pizza in Apple Valley now. We arrived at an off time, in-between lunch and dinner so there was no wait to order. We ordered on the machine for dine in and our pizza and focaccia bread came in within 5 minutes, super fast. I added sausage to the Siliana pizza and probably was not worth it, but was still a good pizza. The tables were clean and the service was fast. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
stupendous is the only way to describe the experience that was had punch pizza, Apple Valley location. As the brochure states, this truly embodies the ancient practices of making the perfect neapolitan pizza. From the delicate char on the crust to the perfect ratio of fresh ingredients bestowed upon the pie, punch just executes pizza to perfection. As a frequent flyer to many Europan destinations authentic Za, I can say first hand this dining manifesto gives you the exact feel as if you are deep in the Tuscany countryside of Italy. I walked into Punch Pizza as a curious young man pondering what Apple Valley's newest attraction had to offer and left the doors a distinguished gentleman with the highest degree of respect for the incredible staff, company, and ambiance that is Punch Pizza. This being stated, I feel as if my current final review is a 4.75. as a suggestion I would consider adding more "craft" drinks to the bar such as but certainly not limited to, fresh brewed ice tea, mock tail, mixed drinks, and craft lemonade.

Yelp
Good pizza but always always cold after ordering ahead OR waiting in line for over an hour. EVERY time. You will get a $5 off coupon for next time when service is bad - have collected over thirty, no joke! Need adult management, more pizza ovens, professional staff. Won't be back this time, even with my coupons.

Yelp
I love this restaurant! The pizza is always so fresh, and it always makes me feel better knowing that it is made right in front of me. The only reason I would give this a 4 star and not 5 star is because of two different reasons. The first being that the wait time is way exaggerated. To make four pizzas when there is almost no one else there, it takes like 20 minutes, and we all know it doesn't take that long. The second reason I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 star is because the staff is very unsociable. There was only one nice lady, who that too, was just shy and wouldn't even talk. But overall since the food here is sooooo good, it balances it out the negative qualities. Totally recommend this place!!!

Yelp
Best Neapolitan pizza in the mid-west. The dough is very perfectly chewy with toppings so fresh you would think that they had them picked at their backyard. The counter service is very quick. It takes less than 10 minutes from order to collect or serve.

Yelp
Great food, good service, no complaints! This is my go-to spot for pizza. Also love that there is outdoor seating available.

Yelp
I've always loved punch and was thrilled to see one crop up close to my hometown! Much like every other punch, this one was great! I got their punch salad, which was fantastic and also ginormous. I love the rosemary bread that comes with it. My dad got a pizza, and like I said, it fit the standard of every other punch I've been too. Punch's pizzas are (typically) quick and (typically) cheap but they're always reliable. I think punch is awesome and honestly very authentic in terms of what a Neapolitan pizza should look and taste like.

Yelp
The design of the Apple Valley location looks exactly like the Eagan location. The parking lot was full on a Friday night. We walked in and the place wasn't too packed, the young lady at the counter greeted us with a smile and proceeded to tell us it will be a a 20 minute wait. We proceeded to place our order. My son enjoyed watching them making the pizza and seeing them go in and out as the pizza got cooked quickly. We got our pizzas in 10 minutes. We got a plain margarita and one with eggplants. The dough was not as crispy and more chewy then I remembered. I think the pizzas needed another 10 seconds or so to get that consistency but over all very good. New location was operating seamlessly. We are happy we have a Punch Pizza in the south Metro. We'll be weekly customers for sure.

Yelp
Love their pizza. The matozzi is my all-time favorite pizza from Punch, but honestly have not had a bad pizza from any Punch. I would caution you on having their red wine though. It definitely is subpar for a red wine fan.

Yelp
Tonight's' two pizza purchase was our first experience with this new Punch Pizza location. We were scheduled for a 8:00 pickup and had to wait for an additional 7 minutes for our order. Service was as just OK but nothing extraordinary setting them apart. While we expected them to be busy on a Friday night, the restaurant is far too small to accommodate both in house customers and take out service. The pizzas were mediocre at best. From this encounter, Punch Pizza seems a little over-hyped. It will be interesting to see what happens once the newness wears off.

Yelp
it was not very good pizza. very greasy. i got the margarita pizza and there wasn't enough basil or tomatoes. the space to eat was very small and confined. wasn't very inviting and none of the colors go together. nonetheless, service was good. pizzas came out fast and nice employees.

Brendan V.

Yelp
Extremely fast service. Always fresh, friendly, and professional. I'm personally not a fan of the parking lot but they didn't build it so not anything against them!

Melissa P.

Yelp
I was in this establishment tonight and I witnessed covert racism against a young black girl. First the people behind the counter didn't even acknowledge her and when they finally took her order it took them 45 minutes to make her order and we'll all know it doesn't take that long. I am so disgusted and disappointed.
