Service is great here, friendly staff and happy to do recommendations. The food itself was great with bold flavors. The pulpo dish is very nice and subtle (not the usual chunky tentacles); the taco’s are amazing; tuna tartare very fresh and nice crunch from the bottom of the rice; main course whole fish from the grill was really well prepared and tasted excellent. Overall very much recommended!

Just had dinner for my birthday. This restaurant was on my list for a while. Food was delicious, well presented and service was very prompt. Heard a lot of great things and it did not disappoint. My favourite was the grilled fish along with the ceviche and don’t skip the Spicy Margaritas 🍹

Very cozy and nice atmosphere. I ate the slow-cooked black angus and it was very tasteful. The starter (tuna something) was okay. The dessert was a cake that tastes like cookies and milk, so definitely not worth 10€. At this restaurant we were discussing how good Lecanda was

After a disappointing experience elsewhere, we booked Puntarena last minute and were lucky to get a table. From the very start, everything impressed us. The drinks were excellent, the starters beautifully done, and the fish for the main course was simply outstanding — perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Save room for dessert: the chocolate dessert is a must-try. An unexpected highlight of our trip and a place we definitely be coming back to. Highly recommended.

One of the best dishes I've ever had. Main looks expensive (58 euro) but you share it so for 2 persons it is good.

An excellent restaurant experience overall. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, and the service was truly outstanding. Both the waiter and waitress took the time to explain each dish in detail, which added a thoughtful and personal touch to the meal. The food itself was refined and perfectly portioned — generous without being overwhelming. We had Costilla Braseada en Machete so good! If you’re dining as a couple, I highly recommend ordering two starters and sharing a main course; it’s a great way to sample more of the menu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, enhanced by well-chosen music that was pleasant and at just the right volume (a rare and appreciated detail). A genuinely delightful evening — special thanks to the staff for taking such good care of two visiting French diners!

The servers were so friendly and helped us in choosing food and drinks. You can tell that they're (Lucía) knowledgeable about their offerings. Also everything was so fresh and the drinks and dessert were perfectly balanced. Not too sugary at all. The restaurant is on the pricier side but definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Absolutely one the best true Mexican restaurants i have ever tried! Cockatails are amazing!
