Birdcall Flops Into the Future of Fast Food | Eater Denver

"The restaurant’s namesake is the most compelling reason to visit: in the pupusa arena, that salutation belongs to Pupusas Paradise, which more than lives up to its utopian name. For around $3 each, the charred pupusas create “a delirium of melt-y ooze” on the inside that’s complemented by obligatory curtido, including a cabbage slaw and a variety of salsas. While the pupusas alone make for a worthwhile meal, the empanadas, corn and chicken tamales, and weekend specials like the carne guisada are equally satisfying, and I praise the all-female kitchen staff as “goddesses of Salvadorian food.”" - Camila Navarrette

Great little pupusa spot! And they have happy hour!! Stopped in for a pupusa snack because I'd been craving them and I'm constantly on a journey for the best pupusas. Last place I tried, was okay but they made them too big. These were great. Nice size, cooked well, delicious curtido, friendly service, tasty salsa options. I would absolutely return in the future.

Google
These Pupusas were really good! Now I can't give it a 5 because I have had better elsewhere, but these are still some of the best I've had! The young man who took our order was so nice and patient with us! Our Pupusas came out hot and fresh! The sauce to go on the side was 10/10 soooo good with so much flavor! I really enjoyed my experience and will for sure be back! The price isn't bad either!

Amazing place, great food, small but very clean, service is very good, friendly staff! I went with my daughter today, we are both vegan and we had 3 different types of pupusas, all vegan and delicious, horchata, fried yuca, corn tamalitos!!! That also have good Latin music! Highly recommend this great place, they also have 3 convenient locations!!

Google
Love this food, always good, hot, and freshly made. This is a counter service restaurant, but is not fast food, and might take a little more time when they are busy, but is always worth it. Service is always friendly. Had some of their main staples including pork and chicken pupusas, yucca fries, and tamales. All was great, especially the pupusas and tamale, which was very moist and savory. Careful asking for their hottest sauce, tasty but strong.

I came here with a friend from out of town and I’m so glad I did - the food was delicious and the location quiet and pleasant. I got a grilled chicken entree and my friend got a cheese and spinach pupusa; we shared a pork appetizer and everything was amazing. The people running the shop are extremely nice. This restaurant is a gem for sure.

Google
I recently visited a Pupusas Paradise that specializes in pupusas, and the experience was fantastic. The food was very flavorful and delicious, with each pupusa packed with taste and quality ingredients. The place was clean, which made the dining experience even more pleasant. Additionally, the service was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy some truly delicious pupusas in a clean and welcoming environment. -Vega Approved 👍🏼✔️

I love this place. They have rice pupusas that are so damn delicious! Everything is bomb here, highly suggest checking it out to anyone, and everyone.

When to this restaurant plenty of times and never had a problem. On Saturday 26th 2022 Ordered by phone 2 sopas de patas and pupusas among other things. When I got home me and my family started eating the sopas just to come find hairs in both of the sopas. Called the restaurant right away and the girl that helped me with the order told me to call Sunday morning and they were gonna refund my money for the sopas. Called Sunday and they refuse to do a refund and insinuated that we were the ones that put the hair on the sopa then they said the were gonna refund 1 sopa . Never going back there again.

Yelp
THE GO-TO place for pupusas! I absolutely love this local pupuseria and it hasn't let me down! The staff are friendly and the food is filling for great prices! There's plenty of cozy indoor seating and the servers can give you a huge cup of iced water if you're dining in. I usually order the three Revuelta (mixed) pupusas. They come with cheese, beans, and pork and go deliciously with the toppings and salsa. You can probably get full with just two but I like to take extras home. My friend also tried the Asada & cheese pupusas and it was pretty tasty and very rich. Would love to try the rest of the menu next time if I can control my natural instincts to just order pupusas whenever I see them on the menu!

Yelp
I got a chance to visit this (El) Salvadorian restaurant today as I was in the neighborhood of Green Valley Ranch midafternoon for a business matter I needed to take care of and here is how it went. I'll admit; I am still new to this cuisine and yet I've been to a really good restaurant that boasts this type of food in the central Denver. Having that memory still fresh in mind, when I discovered this place accidentally today, there was no need for me to waste time to second guess about the food. The restaurant is easy to spot; its restaurant name is clearly on the front of the building with big letters. Its boastful existence to let people know about it is something I can appreciate. My anticipation was high due to its current ratings of near-perfect 5 stars. Whereas I've been to places where I truly thought they were simply overrated, I was under the impression that this place was an exception. Upon entering the eatery, a bright pastel colored mural (or wall painting I should say) with restaurant name on it was right in front of me. Its vividness - as if to say that it depicts the colorfulness of the dishes they serve - was a sure indication that it is a diverse restaurant with flavorful cooking. This also enhanced my anticipation. While I was taking some photos at the reception that was unmanned, a young lady eventually came to me with a welcoming voice. She then immediately asked me if I was there for a dine in or to go to which I said to go. The menu is a good size. Colored pictures with easy-to-understand dish name and the description, no person gets confused with what they have to offer. My intent was to get me a few small side dishes and yet as soon as I saw the "Paradise Plate" ($31.95 as of June 14, 2025), I was like, "why not?" even though I wasn't there to buy a huge plate to be shared with someone else. If you visit this place for the first time, this dish is recommended as it has everything. And the portion is huge (this can be easily split between two people.) The plate contains 3 traditional pupusas (which you'll be asked to choose from the traditional pupusa section), 1 chicken or pork tamale, 1 corn tamale, 1 savory empanada, fried yucca (2 pieces) and fried plantain (2 pieces) are all in 1 plate. On top of that, coleslaw type salad/veggie and red sauce accompanied the whole thing so when the young lady handed me my food, the plastic bag was quite the weight. Oh my goodness, what did I just get??? As a tradition of mine, as soon as I got to my car, I immediately opened the bag and then I was like oola la, I realized that I simply got waaaaaay too much food for one person. Sound like I was complaining and yet I was filled with unexplainable joy that filled my heart and mind. Some were deep-fried, some were pan-fried or oven-baked. However they were cooked, their rich and oily flavors with all kinds of spices and ingredients were all over my mouth. I ate some of it in 2 separate sittings and yet the container still had plenty of food left for me to morsel the next day. No wonder this place has 4.5 stars by people who experienced the goodness they offer. Let's not forget. The restaurant is a good size. It was clean. It's got some bar seating perfect for solo diners. I wonder how crowded it gets on a peak lunch or dinner time. Anyway, I am not sure how many (El) Salvadorian cuisine restaurants that exist in the greater Denver area and yet, this must be ranked one of the top 5 for sure. I may still like the one on Colorado Boulevard as it's a lot closer to my house (for a convenience reason), this place checks for great food and service. Whereas I thought some of the foods were a bit too oily to my liking, its overall food quality speaks for itself as to why people fancy this restaurant. For those who live in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood, lucky them!

Yelp
I love Pupusas from the ones I experienced in Indiana and have been craving for quite a while. I really enjoyed the chicken and cheese pupusas with scrambled eggs on top. The size was generous and I brought one home and warmed up the next day and it still tasted quite good (not as good as the day prior when I got it). Fast, friendly service, I will definitely be back as I'm in the area weekly donating plasma nearby.

Yelp
Best pupusas in town. Fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Pupusa Paradise delivers.

Yelp
Found this restaurant on Yelp while in the area and the reviews were spot on. I have only eaten Salvadoran food a few times, so I don't have a lot of insight as to authenticity, but we loved every bite. This is definitely the best Salvadoran food I've have so far. We will definitely come back when we get to this part of town again.

Yelp
I ordered yuca con chicharrón and unfortunately, the pork was undercooked. I would suggest exploring other dining options.

Jeanette A.

Yelp
So so. I placed an order for delivery. Arrrived cold and only the cheese papasa was good. I ordered steak and cheese and it tasted odd. Bean and cheese was so so.

Yelp
Had Sunday breakfast pupusas and they were amazing. I love the variety of pupusas options available here. The Curtido was perfect and not to vinegary. The salsa was delicious. Service was great, and the restaurant was clean.

Yelp
First time in today. Very nice and friendly staff. The food is home made, authentic, and fresh...very delicious ! Place is very clean!. Try their horchata. Be patient too they won't be serving fast as each order is handmade when you order. Try their horchata.

Yelp
First time here. I had the carnitas/cheese and spinach/cheese pupusas. My wife had the al pastor/cheese and zucchini/cheese pupusas. Good golly, the pupusas were simply fabulous! The dough was not too thick and the filling tasted fresh and flavorful. The sauces allowed me to dose my pupusas to the desired spiciness level. The cabbage topping was the perfect foil. The service was friendly and the server was helpful in guiding me through the menu. The place is on the small side so the tables are close enough to hear other patrons on the phone. I recently moved to the area so I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We loved our takeout dinner from Pupusas Paradise! Everything was so delicious. We've never had Salvadoran food but wanted to explore some new noms. My partner said it best, "I know we ordered this from a restaurant but it feels like someone made this food for their family." And "This was so fun! To explore a new kind of food together." We'll certainly return to explore and taste our way through the rest of the menu. Btw all of this food was $50. And felt really worth it.

Yelp
I've had pupusas on my list to try for quite some time but haven't had a ton of opportunities to try them. Well... thanks to a new job Pupusas Paradise is RIGHT THERE! I didn't really know what to order so I decided to try 2 different types: pork, bean, and cheese and a chicken and cheese. I obviously didn't know how big they are because I definitely didn't need two. Both were SO good though. My only knock on it was the pork, bean, and cheese felt very bean heavy so I didn't necessarily taste the other ingredients. It took a bit to get so as I was waiting a couple of gentlemen eating started chatting with me. I asked what one of their items were and it was a plantain empanada. I mentioned I'd have to try it next time. Well... when I got back to work and opened my bag I realized there was a second container in there where the wonderful employee gave me a empanada to try. So nice! I will definitely be frequenting this awesome spot!

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere! Authentic Salvadorian food! Nice little spot to enjoy a beverage and some delicious food!

Yelp
Came here for lunch/snack around noon time on a Sunday. The place was hopping busy, not crowded at any one time but many diners coming and going very quickly. The lady at the counter took our order with efficiency and was also the person cleaning tables and delivering the food to the tables. We ordered the asada, pork and cheese, chicken and "the Everything". Our fav was definitely the pork and cheese. The Everything was twice as large as the regular pupusas and we had to take that home because we were stuffed. 2 pupusa per person is probably a good amount to order, they are larger here. The medium and hot orange sauces are really amazing. The hot one was pretty dang spicy but had amazing flavor, be sure to give that a try. A side of cabbage salad was also served and a nice tangy complement to the pupusa and hot sauce. I also really enjoyed the mixed fruit agua fresca. In the attached pic it's the one with the shredded fruit and veggies, it's totally delish. The other is passion fruit and good as well, but not as yummy as the mixed fruit. All around, a very yummy experience and I will come back.

Yelp
What a great place Music is good People are friendly The empanadas are delicious and I'm about to try the Papuans but I cannot imagine this little local hole in the wall disappointing. So authentic :)

Yelp
Up until a week ago, if you would have told me to go get a "pupusa," I would've looked at you funny. The name sounds like an immature word that I would probably say a lot when I'm intoxicated. To me, the outer shell of a pupusa is the offspring of a fluffy quesadilla and a Greek flatbread combined. However, the pan fried part is not the only exciting part about this El Salvadorian treasure.....it's also the stuffing that goes inside it! From Pupusas Paradise, I went with the Asada (beef), Chicharron con queso (pork), and Picosa (cheese and jalapeno). My two favorites were the Asada and Chicharron. In addition to that, the cabbage salsa was tangy and spicy that goes on top of the pupusas. At $3-$5, these were amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful. But.... just a heads up before you go giving them less stars, this place gets super busy, the small restaurant needs to cater to all the other orders, so expect a longer wait. Great things comes to those who wait! Kidding, enjoy and tell me what you think.

Yelp
Everything was really tasty and we got a lot of food for your buck! Great service as well. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We had a variety of pupusas freshly made to order we asked for extra salad everything was fresh and they were very accommodating reasonably priced we will go back reminds us of our mom's cooking

Yelp
Authentic Salvadoran pupusas made to order. I stopped in to grab a quote bite only to realize they were so filling! I got a beef, pork, and mixed beans and pork pupusas and ended up saving some for dinner because I was stuffed! Despite being in the heat of the pandemic, the restaurant was completely packed. This says a lot about how good the food is here. What a great hidden gem in Aurora!

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and am a fan. The pupusas de loroco are my favorite. Two is more than enough for a meal--their pupusas are really big. I really like their curtido; they were happy to give us a little more when my group finished the bowl we were given. The sauce is good. They have a mild sauce and a spicy sauce. The spicy one is pretty spicy. A server cautioned me, but I gave it a try anyway. It's hot, but it's also flavorful. My group shared the yuca frita with chicharron. Two pupusas each plus shared yuca frita left us all so full after lunch (we skipped breakfast in anticipation of our recent visit) that we didn't need dinner that evening. The plantain empanadas we ordered as a dessert put us over the edge, and we couldn't finish them. Love their aguas frescas. The ensalada is really good. I look forward to exploring the menu more. If only I could pass up those loroco pupusas.

Yelp
Five stars !! Best damn pupusas I've had. Will be be back. You know it will be good when they give you the salsa and curtido in a bag haha. The service was very good!
google avatar

Yvonne H.

Yelp
Second visit. Still tasty. I ordered squash with cheese. I like them a lot BUT could use a bit more squash. So last time I was told they have hot sauce so I asked for it. I'm an American of Mexican descent so Hot and Spicy is my life, but be warned their hot is definelty hot.LOL.. I took a taste on my fingertip,no biggie.BUT when I started to eat it hit me,Whew! It's good but I wound up 3/4 mild to 1/4 hot on my pupusas so I wouldn't lose the flavor I was looking for. Yes, we'll be back.
google avatar

Natalie D.

Yelp
Fresh, homemade deliciousness!! We ordered the loca, queso, Pollo, and camarona papusa. They were all delicious. Flavorful and large portions. Also ordered the Desayuno which was a full traditional Salvadorian breakfast. If they have the fresca de tamarindo get it!! Sweet tastyness in a glass. Service is great. All food is made fresh so allow time to have your food cooked with love. Its absolutely worth the wait.
google avatar

Yelp
Since moving to the Denver metro area I've sampled several Salvadoran restaurant and I've found this one to be the best and most consistent one. Now, I have never eaten at the restaurant I always take the food to go but it is always fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and courteous! I love their pupusas obviously but also the yuca con chicharrón and the nuegados. Definitely give this spot a try if you're craving some Salvadoran food!
google avatar

J S.

Yelp
These were amazing. I have a picky kiddo and even she liked the cheese and bean Pupusas. Will make this a regular go-to.
google avatar

Laurie C.

Yelp
This place is good. Small and unassuming, delicious food. The menu isn't large and the pupusas are ordered basically a la carte. They're pretty large and one would've been enough but I managed to get two down! The sauce and cabbage topping served on the side are excellent and bring the pupusa to next level. There is not a lot of seating, especially with social distancing enforced.
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
We didn't have the time issue others have noted, and we had a group of 6 order in the middle of a steady stream of customers. I was bummed they didn't have pineapple agua fresca but was happy to try something different: cashew fruit. A sample was offered and I greatly appreciate that! My guy ordered the passionfruit, which was also tasty. The rest of the group got horchata, which as other reviews have noted, isn't your usual horchata. It's spicier, with more cinnamon and another flavor we couldn't quite put our finger on. Food was so good! These papusas are large, about the size of a personal pizza, and one is certainly filling enough. Following our MO, my guy and I shared two so we could try different flavors: pork and cheese & loroco and cheese. Both delicious, especially with the salsa and cabbage salad. Highly recommend! Now I just need to find a papusa place closer to home...
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly this is the type of review I struggle with because i love this place so much, I have an addiction to it and I don't want it to become too popular :) Thank you Door Dash - because through their delivery service I am not even exaggerating I may or may not get these delicious Pupusas delivered directly to my doorstep once a week :) The Chicken tamale here is freaking amazing and I have to get one of those every time as well. My standard order is as follows: - One bean and cheese papusa - Always completely filled!!! - One Bean and Pork Papusa - One Chicken Tamale - One order of Plantains (for now and for later - in case your judging me :)) - comes with this amazing cheese - Side of amazing slaw I am not kidding you that all of this is like under $20 - MIND BLOWN I CANT GET ENOUGH! You are truly a Delicious Delicious Paradise!
google avatar

Genesis R.

Yelp
We placed an order on the phone but still needed to wait for our order to be ready. The pupusas were good, just slightly over priced. I had also asked for a side of spicy salsa, the salsa was not the best, it was very bland. I would go again to see if the quality is the same
google avatar

Phong W.

Yelp
This place is so good, Donald Trump might actually open the border if he was cultured enough to eat here. Wow incredible food with amazing service and the portions was huge!!!!
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
Everything is delicious here, everything! Everything is made fresh to order, everything! The Salvadoran horchata is a little different but tasty, and some weekends they make Mexican horchataaaa!!!! SO GOOD!! I always order the chicken and cheese pupusas, and I can't explain to you the amazingness that is chicken and cheese pupusas. The pickled cabbage topping, and the salsa must be heavily applied to all pupusas!!! It will change your life :) The tamales are out of this world, I love the banana leaf pork tamales and the sweet corn. Also don't forget to try the yuca or beans. Try everything. You will not regret anything you order from there. You're welcome :)
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Went here after visiting 100 year old Grandma!! It was delicious first time trying the pupusas, they were awesome!!
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
Sadly it wasn't a great experience this time. We ordered and paid for six pupusas on Grubhub. When we arrived, my husband went in and told him he was there to pick up our order. They just handed it to him but never spoke to him. When we got home and unpacked out bag, we only had five pupusas. They were all pretty bland and burned except the pork but it was way too salty. The highlight of the meal was the cabbage stuff that comes with it. Not sure what happened but we likely will not return especially since there are now so many other pupusa places.
google avatar

Peter K.

Yelp
Everything was amazing, highly recommend the Loco, that thing is massive and delicious, I load every up with the Curtido and salsa.

Yelp
I'm only knocking one star for the wait of the food, it took around 30 mins, given we did order a good bit of food for our group of 3... I still feel like it's more of a grab a quick bite type of establishment. But the pregnant woman who took our order at the front was super friendly and came to check on us several times. Okay, now onto the important details... the FOOD!! I'm from a town outside of Washington DC that has a very diverse food scene, I grew up eating pupusas! I was slightly disappointed with the price, $3 for one seemed a little high to me, I still remember in high school, I paid $1-$1.50 for one but that was also awhile ago When the pupusas came, I was so impressed with how HUGE they were, so really I wasn't as upset with the price after that. They gave us a generous helping of curtido. The pupusas were hot with the yummy gooey cheesiness you expect and the curtido had the right amount of tang and spice to it. I was in heaven!! I took breaks in between the pupusas to snack on my fried yucas which were also generously topped with the slaw. We really didn't need any tamales but who could resist? The tamales were served with a banana leave, unwrapped. I know it's to be expected to get your tamale served all wrapped up but having it unwrapped already made me really happy, haha... less work more eating! we got both the chicken and pork one... the chicken also had chunks of potatoes in them which I was definitely not angry about. The other had huge chunks of pork in it although some pieces of it was slightly dry, it was still hitting the spot. And really there's no better way to finish off the meal with some of those plantain empanadas even though at this point my stomach was about to explode. I really liked the sweet and sourness of the plantain in contrast with the subtle sweetness of the rice pudding, the best part were the ends where it was slightly more fried and crunchy than the rest.

Yelp
I was looking for a quick meal to get with my mom and saw this on Yelp and had to try it. We ordered one pork tamale, two chicharron pupusas, and two beans and cheese pupusas. Additionally, we got a maranon drink which is the fruit of the cashew. Everything was delicious, came out very warm, and the overall service was pleasant. Also, the food is very inexpensive! Overall, a very authentic Salvadorian restaurant! Hard to come by. I recommend you give it a try!
google avatar

Sara H.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! I have heard of pupusas and seen pictures and all but I had never had one. I happened to be working in Aurora and I have a little bit of time to grab something quick before heading to my next appointment. I try to get interesting choices when I'm this position, rather than fast food. I saw their sign and figured I'd try it! They are fast! My food was ready in about 10 min. They are DELICIOUS! like I might have a new obsession delicious. I got the pork and cheese and the zucchini and cheese. I can't tell you which one I liked more! So so ridiculously good! The cheese alone is something to write home about!! I also got a side of beans and I don't know what they do to them but they were no joke amazing as well. I'll be back! This place even warrants a special trip down here!! Life. Changing.
google avatar

Jazmin H.

Yelp
Perfect post-airport dinner or lunch. They make the papusas from scratch so your food doesn't come out super quick but the wait is worth it. We loved all the papusa flavors that we tried. They have a nut-milk based horchata that is cool if you're vegan but if you're used to sweeter horchatas it might be too nutty.
google avatar

Prima B.

Yelp
I would have given this place 5 stars but the wait time was unbearable. The food was great and authentic but if you're in a rush this won't be the right place for you. It took about 50 minutes for our food to come out. We ordered 4 Pupusas, 2 tamales and fried plantain. No complaints about the food and service but the wait time needs to get better.
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
Very authentic El Salvatorean cuisine! If you've never had a pupusa, you need to try this. Delicious, fresh, made to order. Wonderful staff who were very helpful in deciding what to order!

Yelp
Well - we ordered too much It was our first time at Pupusas Paradise - so you will have to forgive us. Though I am confident that the Pupusas will taste great as a breakfast item (maybe with a fried egg on top). 1) the place has a decent amount of seating, but it is small. It is a clean restaurant but has that "local hole in the wall" feel to it. 2)the menu is in both spanish and english. To us, this granted a bit of authenticity. . . 3) it was busy .. .so I felt a little pressured to order and not ask a huge amount of questions. You will be greated with a huge number of dishes you have never heard of (unless this is your thing). I fired wildly Food * some of the Pupusas with beans tasted similar. If there was one negative is that they put all our different Pupusas together and didn't call out what was what. They all tasted good - some tasted similar. . . I wish they had seperated the items out * everything was served with this red sauce that wasn't too spicey. but not that interesting either. Seems like I would have done better with some kind of spicy chipotle sauce (or - Sriracha) *we just got the fresca sodas which the kids loved (pineapple and mango) Service * everyone was friendly and nice Price * I spent around $35 dollars for 2 adults 2 kids and had a few Pupusas to take home. We made them the next morning with a fried egg (yum). Overall - a great place, I give it a thumbs up.

Yelp
There's always room for one more Salvadoran specialist in town isn't there? The southeast suburbs have been particularly lacking in this regard lately, and so it's my great pleasure to tell you about Pupusas Paradise. As one might guess from the restaurant's name, its primary claim to fame is its range of the stuffed snacks known as pupusas. At Pupusas Paradise, the dough (or, more properly, masa) for these is made from either corn flour (as is generally seen in Denver) or rice flour (which gives a slightly more delicate but equally delicious end product). And there are plenty of fillings to choose from for these griddled goodies. One of my favorite choices is the herbaceous, slightly tangy flower bud called Loroco, but veggie fans are sure to also enjoy the carrot or squash options (all traditionally accompanied by gooey, melty cheese). Meanwhile, those seeking a heartier meal will be thrilled by the Revuelta pupusa, combining cheese, refried beans, and finely chopped pork. All are accompanied by tomato salsa and Curtido (cabbage slaw), naturally! But don't worry... the eatery also offers quite a bit more than just pupusas. One of my favorite Salvadoran dishes is the traditional breakfast platter better known as Desayuno Salvadoreño. Consisting here of fried plantains, refried beans, two eggs cooked to your specifications, a block of the soft cheese often called Queso Fresco, and Crema (basically a tangier version of sour cream), this is sure to fill you up - and quite delightfully too. Depending on the day you come in, you might get to sample Sopa de Pata (cow foot soup), or Pan con Pollo (chicken and an assortment of veggies in a loaf a bit similar to a baguette), just to name a couple examples. But no matter what, you'll want to end with Empanadas de Plátano - mashed plantains stuffed with sweet cream, then deep-fried. Yes, a bounty of options await you at Pupusas Paradise, so go have fun.

Yelp
Authentic El Salvadoran food with friendly service. If you haven't tried Pupuas yet? I recommend you trying this place first! Sit awhile, because it takes some time to make them fresh, which is the case when ordering Pupuas'. The Pickled Cabbage with sauce was perfect, I added it to my Empanadas as well. I love Yaca! And normally, I've only had it steamed and lightly sautéed. It was crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside, like home made fries...not over cooked like in a deep fryer. I had this place booked marked for sometime and... thankfully my husband said let's go! Cons: Location! Pros: Special Needs friendly!

Yelp
The food is pretty good, a bit over prized but other than that, not bad. The hours a a bit funky though, they'll close if they're not too busy rather that sticking to their posted hours. So call before going cause you may find that it's closed.

Yelp
Delicious Salvadorian food. We had the Loca and mixed Pupusas, pastelles, and desayuno salvadoreno.

Yelp
Had never heard of Pupusas before. But glad I tried them! Small restaurant, great food. Will definitely be going back. The cheese and jalapeño Pupusa was great. And so was the pork, bean, and cheese. Fried plantains are always a good side

Yelp
This was a hidden gem! Super simple but wonderful menu. Try the calabasitas! It's a favorite of our family but any pupusa is wonderful and you won't go wrong! The slaw and salsa they are served with are amazing and they heat up to be just as good the next day just with a quick trip to our cast iron!

Yelp
Omg!! Always on the hunt for a good pupusa! Salvadoran chix tamale is heaven!! Came with amazing slaw. Next came the loroco and cheese pupusa ( loroco is an edible flower) and another of pork/beans/cheese, then the finale of fried plantain empanadas. To top it off, the ladies working there are so freaking nice and helpful!! I am so happy that this place just opened! You should try it!! We'll be back!!!

Yelp
Affordable. Tasty. Good service. It literally tasted like when I worked in El Salvador. Nice find
